Even spread of LED glow and very bright. White is a true white. Flows alot of air when fan speed is ramped but otherwise its silent. This is comparing to Corsair HD120 & Cooler Master MF120R.
If you are planning on installing 6 fans like I did you will need the Corsair iCUE Commander Pro XT and prepare yourself for the cable management.
I love how bright these fans are. They aren’t nearly as quiet as Noctua but that’s not why your getting these. The QL fans have LED’s on both sides of the fan so you can still see them regardless of if they are in push or pull. They are also much cheaper on Amazon right now compared to other sites and stores!
These are all about the looks, and there’s no better looking option anywhere imo. They perform decently, even on rads, but for the price there’s far better options if cooling performance is your main concern.
When these fans are working properly, they are the best looking fans I have seen. I’ve bought several sets for different PCs in the last few years. One full set of three I purchased in late 2020 now has stuck purple LEDs. They are in different spots on each of the three fans, but all three of this set have the issue. The fans still work, but when you buy them for the lighting effects, it is still a product failure. To be fair, I have two other sets in other PCs that are fine. Unfortunately, I believe the warranty to be 2 years on these and they were pretty pricey (~$130 or so when I bought them). This seems to be a common problem with these fans from what I’ve found. I expected more, and I am very disappointed with Corsair. (PN: CO-9050104-WW for reference.)
I recently had the opportunity to try out the Corsair QL Series iCUE QL120 RGB LED PWM White Fan, and I have to say, I’m thoroughly impressed with its performance, features, and design. This fan has exceeded my expectations in every way and has become a valuable addition to my PC build.
First and foremost, the Corsair QL Series iCUE QL120 RGB LED PWM White Fan is a marvel to behold. The fan’s sleek white design, combined with its RGB lighting, makes it an aesthetically pleasing addition to any PC build. The fan comes with 34 individually addressable RGB LEDs, which are customizable using Corsair’s iCUE software. This allows me to create custom lighting effects and synchronize the lighting with other Corsair products, resulting in a unified and visually stunning PC build.
Aside from its visual appeal, the Corsair QL Series iCUE QL120 RGB LED PWM White Fan is also a high-performance cooling solution. The fan’s PWM design allows for precise control over fan speed, resulting in optimal cooling performance and minimal noise. The fan is also designed to move large volumes of air, thanks to its specially designed blades, which help to reduce turbulence and noise.
The Corsair QL Series iCUE QL120 RGB LED PWM White Fan is also incredibly versatile, with both 120mm and 140mm variants available. This makes it easy to find the right size for your build and allows for maximum compatibility with different PC cases and cooling setups.
Installation of the fan was a breeze, thanks to its tool-free mounting system, which allowed me to install the fan in a matter of minutes without the need for any additional tools or hardware. The fan’s construction is also of high quality, with durable materials that ensure long-lasting performance and reliability.
Overall, I’m extremely impressed with the Corsair QL Series iCUE QL120 RGB LED PWM White Fan. Its combination of performance, features, and design make it an exceptional choice for anyone looking to upgrade their PC’s cooling system or add some personality to their build. I highly recommend this fan to anyone looking for a high-quality, visually stunning cooling solution for their PC.
Have bought many of these fans over the years and this past lot have an ever increasing number of faulty LED’s. It started with one a week after I installed them and is now at two with another one occasionally flickering. This is not good and maybe hints at QA issues at Corsair! So if you buy these you’ve been warned. Mine are currently stuck on red to hide the faulty LED’s. This is the first set of faulty fans i’ve had but with the fiasco that was the Capellix LCD debacle this is showing quality control at corsair is not what it once was.
I use this ones with the comander pro and it is working pretty good!
These fans look smart in a white case I have these for my water cooled pc and they’re nice and quiet another good product.
Optik 1A, Verarbeitung 1A.
Let’s be honest – you aren’t getting these because they’re the best fans for cooling. They have more RGB than any other corsair fan, at a premium of course.
This is something consumers should be aware of – these are NOT the best when it comes to cooling. Serviceable, even decent? Sure. But if all you want is efficient and effective case cooling solutions, you can find options for even half the price.
These have pretty lights, and I personally have had zero issue with Corsair iCue software (though others have, so buyer beware). My experience with these are positive- my GPU averages around 80C under load (I have an old, stinky 1070ti with an awful blower fan, it’s usually run hotter than 80C actually), and my CPU averages around 65C under load (R7 5800x with a Corsair iCue 150i running exhaust on the top).
I’d call that an overall success when you mix in the pretty lights that I can stare at instead of actually playing games.
Bonus points: my cat loves following the lights with his head and tries attacking them regularly. They double as a cat toy.
Great fans that come with a lighting node core. Plug and play and vibrant colours on the fans
Prodotto super consigliato.
The quality of these fans is great, as I’d expect from Corsair. As stated in the title, these are bit on the pricey side, though the extra rgb is as promised. Be aware that the screws are on the thicker side, some screw holes on my case were too small. The included hub is for RGB-control only, and does not support speed control or different fan type mixing.
Bought for daughter for christmas very low noise level easy to mount very good value for the money
I bought these fans basically just for their looks. They look good no matter what way they are facing. I was very surprised once I installed them as the difference in sound was massive. I had some cheap rgb fans before and these at max speed are quieter than the old ones at idle. You barely hear the fans when they are at idle. These fans are incredibly expensive and they should perform extremely well for the price. I think if you have a white pc build these fans are the best you can buy if you care about looks. There are cheaper fans that probably perform just as good or even better in some cases, but the rgb is top notch. Id only recommend these if you care about looks. I will have to see how long the rgbs last if one were to burn out it would look very bad and there are many of them to burn out. If you got the cash to spend i think you will be happy with these. It comes with a lighting core node so as long as you have enough fan headers on you MB you should be able to install easy, otherwise you will need a fan splitter or fan hub to get these going.
I’ve not been that keen on Corsair products over the years, mostly due to how much they restrict you to their ecosystem, and partly because of how complex some of it can get. In particularly, their fans in recent years have been not desirable to me as the entire process seemed entirely overbearing with how much you needed to do to get them up and running, particularly with RGB. While iCue hasn’t been that bad for me, I’ve seen the horror stories across the internet with that software as well.
That all said, these intrigued me. I was curious about the lighting and having purchased their light towers, had a reason to use iCue on my test bench. So I decided to give these a go right out of the gate, had reason to praise Corsair. Instead of requiring multiple pieces to get the RGB lighting to work, you only need the included Lighting Node Core, which allows up to 6 fans to be connected for the lighting. That then connects to your motherboard via an internal USB 2.0 header, and you’re off and running. For the fan speed, you still need to connect them, but there’s nothing proprietary there. I chose to use a three-way splitter and connect them to a 4-pin PWM header on my motherboard.
Right off the bat, these fans look spectacular. The ability to not just change the outer ring, but the inner ring is great on its own, but you can go even further as they’ve divided the zones into front and back as well. This means you can really get crazy with the lighting effects and combos, which is something Corsair has done very well over the years. There are 34 total LED’s per fan, which is just insane to think about. The fans themselves operate up to 1500RPM, which isn’t the fastest by far, but will be good enough for most. They aren’t terribly noisy for the most part, although they’re noticeable at their highest speed, but then again, most fans are going to be noticeable when cranked all the way up. I had these on an AIO radiator and they performed just fine, keeping temps on an AMD 3600X pretty reasonable, even under a constant Cinebench load. In short, you won’t notice any cooling changes switching to these, unless you always operate your fans at full blast and are coming from EK Vardar fans or something else that comes in at a higher speed.
When these fans first launched, finding them for a decent price was impossible as they seemed to run anywhere from $130-150, which is very, very steep. Even at around $105-115, which is where they’ve been the last few months, they’re still very expensive, especially when you consider some fans can be found for under $60 for a 3 pack. You’re paying for the Corsair name, so how much that’s worth to you will determine if these are a good value for you. Personally, I think if they’re around $100 and you already have a healthy Corsair ecosystem, they can be worth it. I personally prefer Lian Li’s Uni Fans, especially with how much cabling they remove from the equation and how light the software is to control them.
All that said, they’re beautiful fans that perform pretty well. If you don’t mind the cost and are invested in Corsair’s ecosystem, you’ll be happy with these. Simply put, I’ve not seen fans that can compare in terms of how much you can do with the lighting, so how much that matters will determine if these are worth it to you.

Trs bon esthtiquement, pas mal niveau bruit, excellente facture. Seul point ngatif le prix plac lgrement trop haut.
Totally worth it. Great RGB Fans. Have fun with the cable management!
I installed 9 of these bad boys into a Lian Li O11D Mini Snow White case with a white Corsair H100i Elite Capellix. Two are used for pull intake on the radiator (side mounted), three on the bottom as intake, one on the rear as exhaust, three on top as exhaust. They are silent when not gaming, runninjg around 600 RPM. THey are very quiet when running at 1000 rpm, which they do while I’m gaming. At 1000 RPMs, the GPU temp is 55 C, the mobo temp is 39 C and the CPU temp is 53 C. All in all, I am very happy with these fans (and the Lian Li O11D Mini case) and highly recommend them “if you have the extra cash to spend”.
If you want a balance of incredible looks and quiet, consistent, airflow-these are your pick. No other fans have this beautiful color and two sided lighting. They are equally beautiful as intake or exhaust and that is something no other fan has. Lan Li unidas have beautiful views from the sides but the blades and hub are not lit. If that doesn’t matter to you then both make great choices. One gripe I have is Corsair please make your fans daisy chainable!! Installing Corsair fans always has a trade off- incredible good looks and performance for a wire management nightmare. The good thing is you only have to manage them once then you get to look at an amazing build.
Love the colours and the fans are great, unsure why there’s no simple daisy chain set up to them, waiting for a pwm hub to get the other fans up and running. Disappointing to see none of the white aio’s have these particular fans on them and to match it all, I would need to buy the AIO and the fans and then be lumbered with fans I don’t want.
Really happy with how they look. Some fans don’t look particularly white when they are very bright but there and the Lian-li al120 are the best I’ve used.
some fans look terrible when you put them as intake as the RGB ring and the cables are usually on the back this has a very symmetrical design which makes it lovely in both intake and exhaust.
after installing six of theses the RGB didn’t work but that’s a software thing as iCUE thought they were a single LED ringed fans so only half the LEDs worked. Easy fix.
Premium Corsair fans better than the LL120’s as they have a bluish tone to them making white look off to other Corsair products.
I love the fans, I have 10 of them in my PC as well as 3 ML fans. The RGB is some of the best out of all brands of fans. The only downside of these fans is they have low static pressure, they aren’t the best fans to use on radiators. They have half the static pressure of the ML and SP fans. They are great if you’re using them as airflow fans, not on radiators. They will still work on rads, but not nearly as well as static pressure fans.
No doubt one of the best looking fans out there. You’ll be able to see the rgb ring on both sides which helps aesthetics when you have to show the “wrong” side of the fan for optimal airflow. Yes, you will be dealing with lots of wires. For power I have 6 of these QL120 fans plugged into a Core Commander from a h100i Elite Capellix along with the 2 for the AIO. 3 QL120s on a 1 to 3 PWM splitter and 3 more on a 1to 4 PWM splitter. The biggest gripe is with the centering of the sticker on the fan’s hub. Inexcusable for fans that cost this much. The fans that came with my AIO (also Corsair) have nicely centered stickers.
Very very nice looking for RGB! Running 4 in my current build, however the software takes a bit of getting used to, as does the extra wires lol! If you want these 120s, be ready to cable manage 😛
Bon Ventirad.
Wow! Fantastic looking fans! Very low noise even at 1600rpm, helped a lot with the temperature! Came from the LL120 and it was a good upgrade. Cons: cable management… but it’s all the same thing for all the fans with rgb beside the ones from LianLi but they dont look that nice
Looks and works great, very manageable and easy to install
Very nice fans, very quiet, lighting is brilliant.
Easy to mount to radiators.
I have 6 120mm and 2 140mm.
Only bad thing is they do not move as much air as other fans, but still Its just enough airflow over the radiators.
These Corsair fans are great for the RGB. I enjoy them cause they are bright and are truly customizable but the only problem I have with them is the dreaded purple light.
For what ever reason, one of the LEDs on one of my fans constantly stays purple.
I read that this is a firmware issue and is common with these fans. As of right now, I only have one fan that has the purple light always on. Hopefully this doesn’t happen to my other fans but beware of this if that’s a deal breake
Installation was easy and programing it was a breeze! Definitely worth the purchase 😀
I’m using it for 5 months now.. i can say they are the Best fans ever!!
I have 9 of them and they are so QUIET!!
And they have the best custom Lighting and Performance options..
I love them.
The noise level impressed me, they seemed to glide compared to some lesser known brand I had at the same time in the case, at the same RPM. Really quie
They are quiet, they’re not the most hardworking fans, but they will be the brightest! Love these things, if you’re looking to go all out with a white build, look no further. These fans will impress. Especially when used with the iCue software! Comes with the fan controller box when you buy 3 and you can hook up to 6 fans into it. They’re expensive but there’s no comparison to others in the LED department.
Super beau et de belle finition. Lgrement bruyant mais reste raisonnables.
0 bruits
ICue rponds parfaitement
Bought these for my first ever computer build. Not much to say other than they look fantastic, are dead silent, and expensive. You will love them, just be prepared for some extra cable management their high cost.
I can see why people would buy these over standard fans, the extra light on the back of the fan would be interesting for builds with gaps in the case to see the light through, aswell as having a perfect interior. Cant really judge the noise level as my case makes them quite loud, but they are certainly quieter than the previous fans I had in the same spot.
Great RGB lighting but you need a commander pro if you have a mix of RGB fans (LL) as a single node won’t show off the QL lighting
easy to install. very bright. but not the quietest of fans. louder than the older corsair fans i had. but overall, very satisfied
Corsair fans are great. I wanted this in my new build. They look amazing and are very bright and make my pc shine. Very happy that I bought them. Install was fairly easy if you know your way around the computer. The Corsair ique software is very easy to set up to adjust the colors you want inside the build too!
Ok, I like Corsair products, I find them to have very high quality all across their brand.
These fans look so awesome in a white build no matter what color you set them to, specifically because of the ARGB on both sides of the fan, much more for a Lian-Li Dynamic O11.
Having said that, in terms of CFM and cooling capacity they weaker than the Corsair LLs. So… if you’re more into cooling performance than aesthetics go with the LLs, I know for a fact because I used to have them before the QLs.
I’ve got a 10900K @ 5.1ghz all cores with a 360mm AIO in push/pull config and with the LLs idle temps were 26-27c and on load 65-67c with a bien temperature of 20-22c. With the QLs all of them numbers went up on each one at least 3-4c more.
The QL120s top at 1500rpm +/- and the LL120s(white edition) top at 2200rpm +/-.
In terms of noise level, the QLs obviously are quieter than the LLs because they have less rpm depending how you’ve set them to or if you have a custom fan curve.

– pu ruotare a regimi bassissimi (qualit affatto scontata)
– molto molto silenziosa
I had LL series fans in my custom build and they were very noisy with 8 of them in there. I replaced them with these QL series and they are even more beautiful and so quiet! Even under load they are very quiet. Very happy with these.
bought some of these to match my white build theme going off. fans are great however the ICUE software is shocking it will crash it will freeze it will disappear.
Really nice RGB lighting effects and works great with the iCue software which is the best part. It can be a bit messy to setup with all the wires going everywhere but the final effect is gorgeous. If you love your PC and want to show it off while providing good airflow get these. The white goes great with my white rig. I prefer it much better than the black plastic. Minus 1 star for the cost.
while i can’t give them 5 stars, these fans are
awesome and worth the premium and possible initial headache.
the lighting is top-notch. the inner ring on the intake side is worth the extra money over QL120 alone. iCue isn’t perfect, but once
you take the time to calibrate your setup the customization possibilities are endless and the community profiles that can control ALL of your iCue RGB make changing your setup super simple. Alex Krastev has hundreds of profiles available to download, the profile in the video is “Sakura.” You can save money by going with LL120s for exhaust fans as they look very similar. i had issues with iCue when i connected QL120s and LL120s to the same RGB node core, but separating them fixed the issue.
Coming from a decently loud older pc when I turned it on I had to double check if the fans were on – that’s house quiet they are. Added bonus is that they look cool
I also appreciate the rubber pads on the screw holes to further reduce noise levels.
Also another quick tip is to be ready to screw with all you have as it is a little hard to get screws fully i
Great fans. They look amazing regardless of orientation push/pull. Quiet, easy to setup.
The fans are easy to install and are very quiet. I sleep about 4 feet from my PC and they don’t disturb me when I sleep. The RGB is beautiful and very eye catching. I only have two complaints, with one being that they can take a little work and time to install due to the screws having to be put in a certain angle. Lastly, despite having a Corsair RGB adapter and the ICUE software installed the fans will not register so I cannot change the RGB settings of the fans. But overall great fans and I highly recommend them.
Pros:
Quiet
Good Build quality
Stunning RGB
Cons
RGB doesn’t register on ICUE software
Can take some time to install
Rgb top.
Impressive! ICUE software can be a bit of a pain and doesn’t always obey what I tell it to do. I’ve watched youtube videos to learn the basics and the basics I’ve got. Such as changing colour and matching custom colours to programs such as certain games. ICUE software can be a bit tricky to work with for more detailed tasks. However see images and you’ll see that it is an improvement and makes the Pc case very pleasing to the eye. Installing the fans is very easy. Just watch your cable manageme
Don’t get me wrong, these are great fans! Both for noise and for moving air. But, for the price and if you’re considering a mostly or all white build, Your eyes can’t help but get drawn towards the black mounting tabs on the 4 corners. It’s very symmetrical so it helps a little with the contrast, but if Corsair would have used white cables and white mounting tabs, these would be the perfect fans for clean white builds.
Loving these fans so far and I can’t wait to buy 3 more!! They run really quiet and look grea
These are breeze to install and look amazing! Love all the color customization features you can get using Corsair’s icue. Definitely takes some time getting use to the program but once you got it down. You will be able to color your rig to your hearts content. These are very bright, but you’re able to lower the brightness using the software if they bug. Its another feature I can show off so I keep them on most of the time.
I haven’t had these fans for long, so in terms of longevity I am not sure how they do. So far I have no complaints. It makes fans more than just for circulation. Now they can circulate with awesome color haha.
Pros: Absolutely the most beautiful fans ever! Included RGB hub, brilliant white color, white led setting is a true white and looks beautiful, whether mounted intake or exhaust they look stunning.. in addition, whether intake or exhaust the dual light loop setup (LEDs on front and back) look amazing, iCue software is top notch (for these fans.. more on this later.)
Cons: expensive, expensive, expensive, next up, you’ll definitely want the commander pro ($100).. now that we’re at about $500 for fans…fans., screwing in these fans are tight and you feel like you can’t get the screw straight, feel like you’re stripping them, and hurts the wrist, (use a drill lol), next up, when mounted on intake the cables are 1 visible (come one how hard is it guys), next they’re black.. for this premium price I would expect the cabling to be white.. or at least on the fan itself., iCue software is not syncing up with my other components as should (Asus aura), also the RGB hub is supposed to be supported by the commander pro, yet it won’t pick it up in cue (:, this making me lose another motherboard header, and the commander pro already takes up my other one, so now I have to put my other things in the commander pro and not have them work properly. Even on the “quiet” setting they still seem loud, temps seem to be good, no issues yet, max at around 1500rpm, they aren’t great for rads unless push pull, not really a con just a addition.
All in all if you’re buying them for bling, get em. They’re by far beautiful.
so the problem with RGB case fans previously were if you were using them as intake fans the pretty LED’s or the whole reason you bought them would race the wrong way!
big issue on the lianli case since if only running three fans the most efficient (coolest case temp) configuration is the 3 fans vertical drawing the air from the PSU side.
as you can see they look AMAZING even as intake fans
These fans are definitely some of the best out there ! in terms of performance they will do what any other fan will, keep your components cool. While their cooling performance may not be number 1 in its class it does what it’s suppose to all while looking absolutely AMAZING. Best RGB fans in the market in my opinion and crazy bright. I spent a pretty penny on these, getting 10 fans but I have no regrets. My build came out better than I expected. Coupled these with the Lian Li 011 Dynamic XL ROG.
The reason to get these fans is for the double sided RGB. Most other fans will only have Intake side RGB such as the LL series. The QL will have intake and exhaust RGB (and a thinner sidewall). So depending on your case these may or may not make sense. My case is using the side and bottom fans as intakes (so you see the exhaust side) and the tops as exhaust (so you see the intake side).
NOTE mix matching LL and QL fans will mean that some RBG effects might not be smooth because you only have 1 side of RGB on the LL. Also some of the colors (for example full white) is a little different between the two fans. I have an LL in the picture on the back exhaust. All others are the QLs.
If you care more about looks than performance then I’d say these fans do the job well. Running at max (1500RPM) you’ll definitely hear them (especially if you have a lot of them like me), but the looks more than make up for their relatively low speeds (and can still keep your case cool).
iCUE is what it is– both a blessing and a curse. Can definitely recommend going all Corsair (even if they’re pricey) if you’re going to go with these fans, as it will just make it so much easier to manage your RGB if you’re playing with all Corsair products. Will DEFINITELY say that knowing what you need between the Commander Pro, Lighting Node Pro/Core, ect, is all really difficult and confusing (at least for a first time RGB builder). Ended up buying a Commander Pro and two 3 packs with their own node cores so cables in the back are an absolute mess.
For the price you get a good looking set of fans but a headache with the cords and hubs, but that’s RGB for the most part from my understanding. If you can put up with the headache then you’ll love how these’ll look in your build. Promise you that.

I got the 120 Triple pack for my Thermaltake View 71 TG to replace some cheap fans I bought a few years ago.
Installed all three as exhaust on the top of the case and it brought my 2080 Ti down to a more comfortable temperature by a few degrees so I can’t wait to order another triple pack or two to see if it chills out a little more.
I was hoping to just buy them individually, since I have the Node RGB adapter from the first kit, but it would cost the same if not a little more than just ordering another triple pack. I suppose I’ll just have an extra Node for if I need it.
Very nice fans. You can definitely see and feel the premium quality.
