I love these headphones but someone robbed me of that new product experience. When I unboxed it became clear that I wasn’t the first. Finger prints, creases, hair and fluff were in the box.
I bought this to finally replace my razer habit. I kept buying razer krakens and they would continuously break within months. It’s evident razer know how bad their products are as they no longer give you warranty you must pay extra to get things replaced or repaired.
Corsair products are much better than razer, this headset has been wonderful from the first moment. It’s comfy, the sound quality is great.
Quality build
Nice RGB, especially on the mic
Excellent sound quality
iCUE app (mixed opinion on this but I like it)
Great battery life
Decent mic boom (detachable)
Premium USBC cable
Cons
Can become uncomfortable over long periods
Mic boom developed a fault after 6 months (amazon replaced the headset)
I have one rig, all Corsair, and one which is all Steelseries – so I’ve got some context. The headset is excellent and despite a small mic fault and the odd adjustment of the cups during long periods of gaming, I’d say it’s definitely up there as one of the best. It’s weighty, but not overly so – just what you’d expect from wireless headsets. Sound is crisp and clear with Dolby Atmos on, and the materials are premium. Connection via slipstream along with other Corsair devices is super stable.
The sound quality and everything is absolutely fine with these but after having them a year thought it was worth a review as they definitely don’t wear well. They’re not the most comfortable on your head. All the fabric on mine has started to rip off just from normal wear. When I get new ones I wouldn’t go for these again ngl
I have been through a lot of headphones in last few years and this one have just put them all to waste… I would even suggest buying the premium version of this headphones! With Bluetooth and amazing finish, well worth the price as they will become your everyday headphones
The headphones themselves are very comfortable to wear for long periods of time and the battery life is more than sufficient. I wear it for a full day of working from home, listening to music, or using it as my communication device in meetings. I then use it after work for gaming, I only put it on to charge overnight as it says that it is at “medium” battery after a full day and I am doubtful it will last the next full day. Mic quality is superb but the sound is lackluster until you tweak the EQ settings in iCue.
I’ve been after these headphones for a while and now I have them, I really like using them.
The audio quality one hears is excellent, and the microphone quality is also excellent. I get no complaints about extraneous sound while chatting in game or on discord, and can hear everything that goes on around me in games, thanks to the Dolby Atmos support (Windows Dolby Atmos licence is free from Corsair).
I only have 1 gripe about this headset, and that’s because they keep sliding forwards off my head because they have no grip on my hair, thanks to the soft materials used. I feel some kind of friction is needed to prevent this, but although annoying, it’s not enough to not want to use these.
They’re not as bassy as my HyperX Cloud II headset, but the mic quality for this Corsair Virtuoso is like 10/10 compared to 3/10 for the HyperX.
If you’re after a great sounding headset, with a near broadcast quality mic, that won’t break the bank, get this headset.
I didn’t expect the mic quality on these to be great, but it’s actually not bad. I mainly use these for discord calls while I’m doing things around my apartment. The only complaint I have about these is that I wish the ear pads were thicker and more comfortable. Otherwise a solid headset.
Came over from Astro A50s after they broke. First thing I noticed was the poor bass on the Virtuoso. Next was the comfort – don’t get me wrong they’re comfortable but no where near as other headsets.
With that said online users noticed a huge upgrade in microphone quality with the Virtuoso (supposedly also better than it’s more premium version). I have gotten used to the comfort of the Virtuoso but after a few hours it can start to feel heavy on top of the head.
For the price its certainly a good bargain with the 2 year warranty making it a headset I’d recommend – but certainly more premium headsets out there (with a higher price ofc).
Stylish, comfortable, durable with superb sound and the best in class RGB, well worth the buy!
Good quality, look great in white, excellent sound, really happy
Previously, I’ve had the Corsair Void RGBs and before that, Zalman 7.1s plus some others and compared to those, well, to hear some higher quality Spotify tracks through it at such clarity should, as an audiophile, fill you with some kind of emotion if you haven’t gone for something as high quality in recent years.
Absolutely, there are arguably much more high fidelity options out there, but at this price point, I think these are worth every penny.
My only grumble, is that these aren’t able to pair over bluetooth, otherwise I’d use them on my phone all day long as well! Oh and the volume control seems a tad eratic (but that maybe just on my particular item.)

The only thing that i dislike is setting up the EQ
The sound quality is very good and the 7.1 surround is perfect for games like Hunt: Showdown.
The different sound settings through iCUE allow you to switch depending on what you’re doing. I like pretty chunky bass when listening to music, these headphones didn’t disappoint. Plus being able to customise the colours on LEDs was fun.
The mic quality is much better in comparison to the HS70. My friends over discord jokingly asked if it was actually me they were speaking to.
This has a LED at the end of the mic to let you know if the mic is on/mute. Prevents you speaking into the void when you’ve forgotten to turn off mute.
When you take them off they go into standby mode to save battery. Also when you come to pick them up again the motion sensor turns them back on. It’s such a small thing but it takes the minor hassle away from having to switch them back on manually, like the HS70s.
The only downside to this headset I’d say is the metal they use to make it sturdier, also makes it heavier. If you’re planning on having these on for a long time the headband will become very uncomfortable where it rests.
Overall a great headset, I wouldn’t get it unless you can also get insurance too. My HS70s lasted about 2 years before they broke through daily wear and tear. A bit expensive, but at least they’re good and I know that they’ll last.
This headsets sound quality is relatively flat. It’s not overbearing at all with the default settings.
I actually enjoy listening to music/gaming this way.
Mic is pretty good too for a wireless headset. Everybody can hear me clearly in Teams, Zoom and Discord.
iCue can be a pain at times, but I’m sure if you have Corsair products you’ll look past these little hiccups.
I can confirm the overall build feels premium and imo its stylish for a headset.
If you wear glasses like me, just be aware that it can press against your head a little tightly.
I feel that some evenings after 10+ hours of use I get headaches due to the headset being a little tight.
My biggest complaint is reconnecting the headset to your PC if you’ve drained the battery. That is a nightmare!
It will not connect as soon as you plug in. Corsair support told me to wait two hours, but it was probably more like 4 hours before my PC drivers could figure out it was a headset. Since then, I make sure to charge it every night!
If you need reliability in the sense that you don’t want to charge these every night and just want to plug it in through USB and use it straight away. I wouldn’t recommend these to you. If you can deal with charging it every night. Go for it!
Trs bon produit Trs bonne qualit de son je recommande ce produi
Also the dongle connection can keep going on and off if you are away from your desk, despite the massive range it promises it offer.
the comfort is OK, wouldn’t say it’s amazing or bad.
I have made a video about these on my YT channel Realbaldnold
Overall the look and feel of this headset is very good and feels like a more expensive headset. I only had one issue which may be subjective but after prolonged use the headband felt slightly uncomfortable on the top of my head. Massive improvement over the Corsair HS60 Pro which I had previously but still room for improvement. Some have also mentioned that having round earcups instead of oval sometimes irritates where it touches your ear at the top or bottom but I never had this problem. From other review I have seen I also think that the mic on the Virtuoso is actually better sound quality than the Virtuoso SE which is supposed to be better? The white just looks amazing though and even though the covers on the earcups are plastic instead of metal they look great in white. Also the holes on the Virtuoso SE that let the RGB light through are probably going to get dust ingress. These ones the RGB just shines through the translucent plastic.

Regarding the headphones, the volume scrolling thing, is a bit scratchy, and sometimes the volume goes the opposite direction that I scroll the wheel.
There is no bass at all, 0, nada! Please reconsider if you are a bass fan, it just feels empty.
But they feel really nice as headphones and have a great overall build quality.

This headset is the most comfiest headset I’ve ever bought. I can wear this for about 6 / 7 hours while gaming and my ears won’t hurt due to the Memory form earpads <3
So this time I thought that I would get something a little more sturdy. Something made from metal. I dutifully ‘plumbed in’ my criteria & came up with the Corvus Virtuoso. I still believe that it was good money well spent.
These are the best headphones I have owned for gaming. They are a joy to wear, remaining comfortable when used for extended periods of time. This is largely attributable to their memory foam cushioning on the head band and at the earphones themselves.
The full STEREO sound I get is ‘state of the art”, but it’s not the full 7.1 as I believed. These cans are really designed for PC but are compatible with PS4 but as I said before, only to a stereo mode. I don’t remember seeing that in the advert (it is, by the way, way down in the bottom of the spec! Kind of misleading!) but it is mentioned in the instructions.
As far as noice cancelling is concerned that they are not! I can still hear the whinging of my dear wife, the whirring of our tired washing machine on full spine and the yapping of a certain small dog with a boot up its’ Jack’s eye! But all of these are easily eradicated by using the special ‘selective deafness’ switch (aka volume control) which also, has quite an effect on one’s own hearing or should I say, eventual deafness!!
So to sum up, I bought these for construction not sound and despite no 7.1 for my PS4, I am generally satisfied!
– The headset provides great sound.
– Voice is super clear in chats.
– Volume is easily adjustable.
– Simple switch from Wi-Fi to USB modes.
– RGB lighting
– Ear Cuffs are soft and comfortable.
– You can adjust the headset easily.
– Wi-Fi range is really good. I can easily use this headset downstairs. However there is a limit on how far you can go.
– Very multi purpose, I can use this headset on PC, Game Console, Phone, Tablet etc. (Cables are included with purchase).
– Usable with iCUE software.
– Surround Sound
The Cons:
– Expensive. But this is a really good quality headset, look after it and you’ll wear for many many years.
– RGB is only on the side and tip of mic. Possibility for additional RBG at the top of the headband.
– Wireless Mode lasts at least one day, meaning you’ll probably charge it over night (Which isn’t the worst, but battery life could be improved. It’s pretty much got the battery life of your phone (Obviously depending on the phone you have).
– Surround Sound can only be used on PC as it requires the iCUE software. If this can be improved so other devices can take advantage of surround, it would be very hard to resist. It would be great if iCUE could be implemented as an Android, Apple and Microsoft App as it would allow you to have surround sound on any device.
Overall: Best and most expensive headset I’ve owned. Wireless technology is really good and sound quality matches that. Great multi purpose for other devices.
Highly Recommend for anyone.
The sound quality is excellent, however I feel it focuses a little too heavily on bass, even when tweaking the settings. I still find myself missing the clearer, crisper mid tones of the Cloud IIs.
But overall the wireless functionality is what I bought this pair for and I have had no trouble with them so far. Very satisfied!

My boyfriend loved it so much!
Good quality and value.
Really comfortable, even after long periods of use, due to their “over the ear” design.
Sound quality is very good and microphone quality is excellent… NOTE… use the audio jack cable provided for best quality
Good battery life.
Very stylish… because you can remove the microphone I actually use these away from my PC.
Size… I have a small head and these actually fit me very well… unlike most other headphones that are slightly too big even on the smallest setting. Don’t worry… these headphones will fit the larger head just fine.
The RGB colours can be adjusted using PC software.
Wireless connection is via a provided dongle and connects incredibly quickly.
Price… you get what you pay for. Corsair isn’t cheap and neither are these headphones but you are buying an excellent product so the cost is worth it.
Summary… if you are looking for new headphones for your PC, especially when gaming, then these are the headphones for you.

For gaming, they’ve exceeded my expectations completely. With having a tight pair of headphones and the audio being very crisp, especially for shooters such as Battlefield, OW, CS:GO and etc, they were amazing to figure out where the enemies were.
However, there’s the downside…
Today, I came to the headphones completely drained. Once plugged in, they were just blinking red. After checking the forums and corsair’s help page, seems a few people have had this issue before however was simply fixed with the new firmware update, which I didn’t check.
Help page suggested to plug them in for 15 minutes on wired connection, disconnect from PC entirely, plug the wireless dongle back in and switch back to wireless mode – However did not resolve the problem. I left them charging for over 12 hours which to no available, fixed the issue. I’ve had to swap these out.
Other than the headphones bricking themselves for some reason, they’re really are a decent pair for the amount. It’s just a shame an older firmware version installed on this headset caused it to be bricked like this. I’ve already got a replacement on order coming for next week, so hopefully with the new firmware installed we won’t have a repeat. If not, I’ll change to 5 stars.
Will update in the upcoming weeks.

I downloaded the ICUE software to adjust my settings. The settings do save on my laptop but when i connect it to my ps4, then the settings aren’t applied there. the lights on the side of the ear cups are just solid white. Unfortunately I can’t have rainbow wave colours.
Overall good produc
First of all; iCUE. What should be the bread and butter of Corsair products has been a bit of a pain. Granted I’ve only had the one issue with it that has since fixed itself with a hard reset of my computer, but it was still a pain. For context – in the software the headset duplicated itself – so every time I muted it, it would register 2 button presses and not just the 1, so it would immediately unmute itself.
Secondly – the mic quality on the SE is worse than the non SE? What’s up with that Corsair?
And lastly – the glossy sides of the non SE edition. Obviously as the non SE has better mic quality and is cheaper i went with that one – but the glossy sides aren’t so great – it’s like spitting on the amazing clean industrial design with these reflective ear cups – why not just go with matte?
Some good stuff about it though – the mic quality (of the non SE atleast) is amazing. You get to adjust your sound profiles in iCUE. The sound quality is amazing. They’re comfortable to me – some people complain about their ears touching the drivers however that doesn’t bother me all that much. And the battery life is pretty damn good too – I use them for a few hours a day and usually only have to charge it once a week. I also wear them outdoors with the included double ended audio jack cable – they’re minimalistic so you won’t look like an idiot outdoors.
Overall solid product. For 150 it’s an investment sure – but as someone who will be using them near every day for hours on end I’d say it’s worth it personally.
When you first get this headset, make sure you update the firmware as soon as possible, using Corsair ICUE.
Ok so here’s the good:
First off the headset sounds really good. I’ve been a HyperX and Sennheiser user for years, so I’ve been accustomed to good sound. It even sounds great when using it in wireless mode. (the main reason why I bought it)
The mic is also one of the best mics I’ve heard on a wireless gaming headset in 2019. (Check out the review on YouTube by HardwareCanucks, and hear for yourself)
The headset itself is really comfortable. I have a big head and can happily game with these on for over 6 hours without any issue.
The bad:
Before the latest firmware update the headset was being recognised twice in ICUE, which I thought was strange, also the dongle firmware revision wasn’t being recognised, not really major deal breakers but a minor annoyance. I also had intermittent connectivity issues as the dongle and headset regularly switched to a cleaner 2.4Ghz wireless channel.
After updating the firmware on the dongle and headset, I initially had a few teething problems with the headset. The next day after I turned off the headset it took about 10 secs to power back on, also the Corsair ICUE app froze upon rebooting my PC after I had installed the latest firmware on both devices, this resulted in me having to kill the ICUE task in windows and restart it’s service in order to make the software functional again.
Conclusion:
After having the headset a few days now most of the minor issues have dissipated, the headset boots fine and now stays connected without issue. Corsair ICUE has been behaving itself too.
The Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless headset has cracking sound along with a cracking mic, but obviously not as good as some wired alternatives.
If you’re in the market for a decent wireless headset with a half decent mic, then you can’t go wrong with the Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless.
Overall 4/5, mainly after the issues I encountered.
However these are amazing.
The aluminium build means they are light but feel sturdy. The memory foam cups are great at noise cancelling and the 7.1 makes such a difference gaming. I thought the surround sound in the voids was decent but the virtuoso changes games like PUBG. You can hear every movement and work out where it’s coming from.
Up to now I have tended to use a standalone mic so the removable mic was ideal. However I was away at LAN this weekend and the mic quality was brilliant. Crystal clear and great at blocking out the unnecessary background sounds.
Overall, they look fantastic, feel really comfortable and are the best sounding headset I have ever used.
Highly recommended.
the battery life is great did a 5hour overwatch on discord wireless and was still on half battery life by end of the evening and played Warcraft with music definitely lasts well over 10 hours , can set the headset to turn after 2mins so it saves battery life. my computer is upstairs and could walk all over my house and played music perfectly. Easy to cable when its low (some software may require a restart AKA spotify) for it to work again. Like me having used sounds cards and software I did have to fiddle around to get the right sound quality for gaming and music but u do get the sweet spot and makes you love this headset even more never thought I would love wireless so much. With the price of other high end wireless I think these are better
Corsair can make these even better with better EQ with ICUE
