This product gives pulse to all media in a small to medium bedroom, but it can be overwhelming at first power up that it can wake the neighbors next door.
If you are using a computer monitor with built-in speakers or want to upgrade from the speakers in your TV for a budget, this is the Sound System for you. Get it since they have a V2 of this model, and the price is a steal!!
I’m satisfied with this product. I think it sounds good, much better then my TV sound. And price is good 🙂
This is a upgrade that won’t make you think you are wasting money. Great overall performance for the price. Its a wired subwoofer but then again less problems. I had a few soundbars i had to return because ARC (HDMI SOUND) or Bluetooth kept dropping out or not working.
If you’re in the market for some speakers, this is your sign! This set is well worth the money. Good sound, easy to set up, easy to use.
Excelente!!, muy buena relacin calidad / precio, sonido insuperable, gran potencia, fcil instalacin.
For the money u can’t go wrong ! Worked perfectly for a tv in my guest bedroom .
Great for movies really boosts the volume and is great for listening to music aswell has sound setting on remote. Was very satisfied!
Also doesn’t take up alot of room .
Great that it came with its own optical wire too !!!
Use this for my projector in my garage, great sound, nice bass. This isn’t mind blowing sound, but is way better then you would expect for 110 or 89$. Lets my watch my hockey clear and distortion free. Worth it if you just want some good sound.
Love it nowbut my initial impression was a little mixed – read on as online chatter suggests this was not an uncommon experience. I chose to use an HDMI cable for the “ARC” connection instead of the optical cable. Turned on TV and sound bar worked perfectly with Telus Optik and YouTube appdidn’t work with Amazon nor Netflix. Tried everything, nothing worked.seriously considered returning. Did some online searching of sound bars not working with certain apps on TVs. Turns out, there’s an obscure setting that you have to change on your TV so that it outputs the “right” kind of audio signal format. Once I got that sorted, the sound bar worked perfectly no matter the source or app. Tested it out on Top Gun Maverick.WAY better than TV speakers! I’m sure there are way better bars out there, but for what I need and at this price, I think I got exceptional value. Definitely recommend!
This is a sleek bit of mini-soundbar in elegant gloss black that looks like a million bucks on your desk. The Creative Stage soundbar has its own proprietary sound card tech built into it and it sounds amazing, especially if you max out the bass and treble.
Minus a star for the cheesy subwoofer, but I presume that’s about the economy of scale and maintaining a low price point. Do yourself a favor and mate it to this Bestian mini sub https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09H26JSFH/
You can mate this to any existing sub by using a splitter Y-cable like this UGREEN https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LM0ZGK6/?th=1, plugging your existing sub into one of the two cable inputs.
The Creative soundbar should NOT be plugged into the subwoofer’s thru port but plug directly into your PC via the Y-splitter cable so that the soundbar receives full range sound, unfiltered by the subwoofer’s built-in crossover. At full range, the soundbar has a rich and dynamic sound thanks to Creative Stage (formerly Creative Labs, long time makers of the absolute best in desktop audio)’s external sound card built into the soundbar itself. If you run the soundbar through the subwoofer (instead of running it along with the sub in parallel) the soundbar will not sound as good.
Suggest you begin with top volume knob set to 12 o’clock and bottom frequency knob set somewhere between 9 and 10 o’clock, then slowly adjust to suit your taste. If you turn this thing all the way up and rotate the freq knob all the way to the right, the sub will sound like garbage. Take your time and try a bunch of different settings and you will find your sweet spot.
Used with the Bestian mini subwoofer (sub-$80 pricing), I have a desktop PC sound system that thumps harder and sounds on par with if not better than many premium systems.
Minus one star for auto shut-off only in Bluetooth mode. Mated to a better sub, sure, you can game with this, but my guess is this product is best geared for general purpose media use.
I have bought two of these speaker systems and they work decent for both a computer speaker and a tv speaker. They have aux, optical, and hdmi inputs for sound. The soundbar is quite big so if you plan on using it for a computer speaker you’ll want to make sure you have room. The sub-woofer is a bit on the cheap side but the sound is decent for the price. The system doesn’t have much by the means of controls as almost everything has to be set with the included remote, although input and volume can be controlled on the soundbar itself. Overall a decent starter and budget system.
Me gust , suena bastante bien , y la calidad es muy buena
I bought this soundbar because my flat screen has terrible speakers. I noticed the problem the most when watching the TV show Elementary. The sound on that show is all over the place. I thought this would to hear the dialogue better. It made a marginal improvement. I was so torn that I almost returned it. But paying more for a sound bar than my TV just didn’t seem right. So I kept it.
Overall, it’s definitely better sound than my TV speakers. The sound is richer and deeper. I use the bluetooth feature. There doesn’t appear to be a wired option without purchasing another cable.
I find that sometimes I max out the sound and still want it louder. That’s a definite drawback.
I bought this for my son’s completed. I didn’t want a cheap generic sound bar. I wanted one with great sound since he doesn’t like wearing a headset. This sound bar was perfect. Sounds great, and has a good amount of bass. While I wanted a larger sound bar, note that this one is pretty large. But we made it work. I love it.
This product really blew my mind. I ask if it had a pleasing bass… Yes, it has a pretty good base. Like for a mid-bass head, it defiantly scratched my ich. It gets pretty loud with a mobile device using Bluetooth but on the computer, it can get really loud.
I needed a new soundbar and subwoofer. As I ain’t got loads of dough I was looking at the lower end of the price market.
So I ordered one @ 69= without checking reviews. Later the same day I checked the reviews and found the product I had ordered was ” sub standard” excuse the pun.
So I cancelled my order.
After checking the next best price product that met my needs I decided one Creative Stage 2.1
Well it arrived and was set up in minutes.
Then I was totally shocked by how GOOD the sound was. Excellent bass, clean crisp highs and I’ve not managed to get it near the maximum volume setting.
If I would have heard this and not known the price, I would have said 200-300.
If you are gonna spend that sort of bread on a system like this then………
DONT! GET CREATIVE
Or waste ya hard earned cash on something that may or may not be as good.
That’s all I have to say about it!
I wasn’t expecting too much from this sound bar at this price point but it has been really good for me. I use it for my Mac Mini so I haven’t gamed with it, but I do listen to a lot of music and it doesn’t disappoint.
I did watch video reviews for it prior to the purchase and some of them were negative due to the spacial audio and based on actual measured tests that were ran, but for roughly $90 it’s a great purchase.
For me this is a great piece of kit great price just plug in and away you go
Just what I needed. Budget price with good sound quality. This system will trill you with the bass effect.
I am very happy with this sound bar. Quick delivery and great quality of sound. Price is also reasonable. I have only tested at the moment as I shall use it on monthly party at mine. I hope it lasts long. I shall recommend this to everyone
Great sound with deep, impressive, potentially very loud, well defined bass; bought for a Sony Bravia TV. Setup with HDMI ARC cable, which allow good sync with TV; have also tried AV & Optical – which work well. Optical volume control works with Creative remote only, as far as I can see – no problem though, as use ARC. Bargain for 69. To begin with there was an issue of sound dropping out completely in quiet moments, only to resume when speech/noise returned. This was annoying, but contacted Creative and I was forwarded a firmware update to apply – easy to do, and has fixed the fault which was a power saving mode issue. Still give the unit 5 stars, as sound is so good, and for firmware resolution of sound dropouts. Amazing that the subwoofer produces the bass that it does. Live in semi detacted house, and so have turned the bass level down avoid disturbing the neighbours, but still a great sound, much better than built in TV speakers.
I made the mistake of ordering the “Redragon GS560 Adiemus RGB Desktop Soundbar” first (https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B08X6LYPHK?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details), because it was cheap but a few reviews said it was decent for the money. It was not. It wasn’t worth $10. I returned it and instead of listening to Amazon reviews, which are corrupt, and I searched reddit for “decent soundbars for the money” and came across a thread recommending this dude. It was only $99, it isn’t some cheap Chinese knock off speaker, it sounds amazing, it’s built very nice, simple to set up and use with multiple ways to use it (bluetooth, hdmi/tv arc, aux cable, optical cable), comes with everything you need if you want to mount it (I mounted it above my monitor in about 15 minutes)…it’s worth every penny!
Sound quality very good, easy connection via HDMI,ideally fits to my tv stand.5*
I thought the description for this said the sub woofer is wireless, it is not! But the sound quality is great, I’ve had some issues with the hdmi arc but I thinks that’s due to my TV. I am considering getting another one for another room
Not sure on this yet. Really easy to set up, but trying to find the right levels for me. Had to unplug it a couple of times as wouldn’t respond to remote control. When the set up works…great sound. Will update review in a few weeks.
Update, issues with sound was that the soundbar remote was also working the tv remote when changing volume. Great customer service at creative sound advise this situation is very unfortunate that both run on the same frequency, but I could try using the hdmi arc cable instead of the optical cable. Sound issue now resolved.
Update soundbar not responding to remote, have to unplug. Again support at Creative very good ad they sent me some firmware to fix bug. Going to perciver as it’s a decent sound for the money paid.
Top class. Bang for the buck. I really haven’t tried many other sound systems before this, but I loved this one as soon as I got it. It even brought my neighbours out of their caves who really “appreciated” the bass and the sound.
Anyway, just go for it. And oh, it does not come with any optical cables to connect to the TV, so make sure you get one beforehand. Also, have a pair of AAA batteries ready for the remote.
What an awesome system. Bought as a replacement system for for my PC. Compact but unbelievably powerful. Simple to install and set up. Lovely build quality and a great looking system. Sound bar fits neatly beneath my monitor and all easily controlled with the smart little remote. Sound quality is superb with the bar sounding out great clarity & precise stereo sound and the woofer delivering incredibly powerful bass. Very impressed.
Simplist but powerful. I will certainly be disturbing my neighbours. Skeptical when ordered, but not left disappointed. For peacesake, I cannot max the bass or the volume together however, you can still get deep rich bass at lower levels; which is great. Even better, an Amazon voucher was applied so great value for money also.
