La macchinetta arrivata in perfette condizioni, si presenta solida, se la volete d’acciaio dentro e fuori spendete 1300 euro per una professionale.
Il caff ottimo come da bar, necessario effettuare molti test e provare diversi caff, la perdita di acqua del montalatte in fase di preriscaldamento normale, metteteci un bicchierino e non lamentatevi.
uno strumento che tratta liquidi normale/necessario effettuare le sue manutenzioni periodiche, se siete sfortunati fatevela cambiare. Al momento ancora pienamente soddisfatto

La macchinetta fa un buonissimo caff sia con cialde che con macinato.
Speravamo eliminare il montalatte invece non ci stato possibile perch o non siamo capaci o il cappuccino con questa macchinetta non viene un gran che.
Comodi i tre porta caff differenti peccato che se non lo si smonta subito dalla macchinetta dopo aver fatto il caff il porta caff rimane attaccato alla macchinetta e staccarlo da l non sempre immediato, spero non sia un problema del manico porta caff.
GRANDE PROBLEMA QUANDO FINISCE ACQUA NEL SERBATOIO POI LA POMPA FATICA A PESCARE E NON FUNZIONA
Mi sembra evidente che io non possa rilasciare giudizi su questo articolo, avendolo ricevuto solo stamani… Comunque la prima impressione anche alla luce del primo caff erogato senza alcun dubbio positiva. Ora passato qualche giorno da che ho ricevuto questo articolo e, ne sono letteralmente entusiasta, La mattina, facevo raramente colazione, adesso invece, tutte le mattine mi faccio il mio bel cappuccino con caff e cioccolato…. Che schiumina invitante, identico a quello del bar. Semplicemente perfetta… Non posso fare altro che affermare che realmente un ottimo prodotto.

Ho acquistato un prodotto usato in ottime condizioni di Amazon avendo avuto gi precedenti esperienze veramente positive..e non sono stata delusa..Mi arrivata una macchina praticamente nuova solo con la scatola danneggiata a poco pi di met del prezzo. La macchina esteticamente molto carina, forse mi aspettavo materiali pi consistenti. Volevo liberarmi dal vincolo delle capsule in plastica molto costose e altamente inquinanti e ci sono riuscita. Ad oggi mi trovo molto bene e sto sperimentando le varie cialde
Negativo: arrivata macchina evidentemente usata.Non dovrebbe succedere! Comunque sostituzione immediata e abbastanza semplice. Dopo un p di utilizzo per impratichirsi devo dire che cominciamo a fare degli ottimi caff. (polvere, non cialde che non vogliamo utilizzare). Stiamo provando con il cappuccino dove sembra per che il vapore sia caldo al punto giusto dopo due /tre colpi. vediamo in seguito. Per ora contenti
la seconda macchina che acquisto dopo che l’altra ha fatto il suo dove per diversi anni poi si rotta definitivamente. Che dire, sapevo gi i difetti (rumorosit)che in questa macchina migliorata, il caff tutto sommato buono, anche se perde il confronto con l’espresso del bar ma per me che lo uso soprattutto per il cappuccino del mattino va bene, comunque facilissima e intuitiva da usare.
Ho atteso un bel po’ prima di fare la recensione per assicurarmi del suo funzionamento, e lascio la recensione spinto dalle recensioni negative che ho letto e dal fatto che, anche io, all’inizio volevo letteralmente lanciare la macchina in mezzo alla strada perch non riuscivo ad ottenere un caff decente:
nel particolare l’estrazione estremamente lenta, quasi bloccata, con caff appena macinato. All’inizio davo la colpa alla pompa, alla pressione dell’acqua, alla scarsa temperatura dell’acqua e altri mille problemi che in realt non c’erano. La svolta stata pesare la dose di caff, prendere un macinacaff di qualit e un pressino da 51mm. Pesando 7.5gr di caff con una bilancia di precisione, macinati bene e al momento, e pressandoli con un pressino decente il caff viene estratto bene e in maniera sempre uguale.
La mia macchina non perde acqua, non da la scossa, non vibra eccessivamente e, per il prezzo che ha, funziona pi che bene.
Uniche accortezze:
– tenerla pulita, io a fine caff batto sempre il gruppo e do una sciacquata al filtro in modo che sia gi perfettamente pulito la volta successiva.
– effettuare la decalcificazione periodicamente, io la eseguo ogni kg di caff circa.
– riscaldare il gruppo facendo scorrere un po’ di acqua calda prima del primo caff, per evitare un caff tiepido. Io che pulisco il gruppo a fine di ogni utilizzo semplicemente, quando si accende la spia della temperatura, faccio lavorare la macchina (vuota) e la spengo appena inizia a gocciolare. Poi aspetto che si riaccenda la spia ed pronta a fare il caff, nel frattempo macino e peso la dose nel gruppo.
Seguendo questo piccolo rituale viene un caff veramente ottimo.
Molto bella esteticamente, molto facile da usare e il caff viene molto bene sia con la macina che con la cialda! Anche il cappuccino non male! L’unico neo che sotto l’erogatore non ci sta la mug, che la tazza che utilizziamo in famiglia per bere il latte al mattino
Avete presente quando di una cosa che veramente perfetta, si dice … “guarda manca solo che fa il caff”…beh questa fa esattamente anche il caff !!! E non solo … il cappuccino delizioso, il volume di vapore sufficiente ed esce in maniera poderosa in modo da riuscire far volumizzare il latte e rendere la schiumetta densa il gusto; il caff ….cremoso 10 e lode ( mi raccomando di rispettare la regoletta di far pre-riscaldare il beccuccio, ma lo fanno anche al bar se ci fate caso). Voglio spendere ancora una parola per quanto riguarda il getto del vapore, io lo uso anche per prepararmi le tisane, metto l’acqua nella tazza e poi via di vapore per portare velocemente in temperatura per poi immergerci la mia adorata tisanina… adorabile, inoltre per portare in temperatura l’acqua della tazza, sono necessari almeno un paio di giri di vapore ma il tempo di riaccumulo davvero irrisorio… fantastica!!!
DESIGN:
Sul design non c’ proprio nulla da dire, quello stile leggermente retr (ma non troppo) che si sposa in maniera perfetta con cucine moderne e ancora meglio con quelle old-style.
MATERIALI:
Acciaio scintillante e plastica rigida finemente colorata di color pastello, gradevole all’occhio piacevole al tatto ma soprattutto SOLIDA e RESISTENTE
IN CONCLUSIONE:
pensiero personale, ne ho provate davvero tante ma questa mi ha colpito, cristo si fermato a Eboli, io mi fermo qui, fantastica !!
Cercavo una macchina che permettesse di fare il caff utilizzando il macinato..ovviamente in base alla macinatura esce un caff pi o meno lungo e piu o meno annacquato..la differenza la fa anche il filtro utilizzato..per basta prenderci la mano e trovare il proprio equilibrio e il gioco fatto..anche l’occhio vuole la sua parte e io la trovo molto elegante
L’aspetto vintage mi piace un sacco avrei scelto un altro colore ma solo il beige era in sconto. Presa la prima volta ho dovuto fare un reso perch perdeva il serbatoio dell’acqua Amazon impeccabile come al solito per la sostituzione la s conda va bene fai buon caff l’unica pecca un po’ lunga nel riscaldamento e a differenza della Nespresso si spegne in breve tempo per risparmiare energia. Sono comunque soddisfatto dell’acquisto. Non ho ancora usato la lancia per il cappuccino non si assume sa nella famiglia
L’ho acquistata per un’amica, sfruttando un’occasione di prezzo, dopo che io ce l’ho da quasi due anni. Mi hanno confermato che si trovano molto bene e che il valore della macchina alto, per il prezzo in offerta a cui l’abbiamo presa.
La temperatura standard del caff non il massimo a detta loro ma abbiamo stabilito il trucchetto di fare accendere anche il terzo LED (quello per il vapore, quindi attendere un po’ di pi ma alzando naturalmente la temperatura dell’acqua).
Il design il top come si vede.
Acquistata da un paio di settimane facile da usare , ottima per montare il latte per un buon cappuccino, per adesso ho solo usato le cialde ma un buon caff facile da pulire ! Buona per chi non pretende alta tecnologia tipo il caff corto o lungo gi programmato basta prendere la mano !
Coffee machine is later version of the one which started to leak after years of heavy use. It looks great and makes good coffee although not as much foam as we like on espresso so we have used the coffee holder valve from the previous machine. Also, the water tank doesn’t lift off for refilling until it has cooled down a bit which causes a bit of delay at times

Bought this for my husband’s birthday. He loves it and since December he has his lovely coffee everyday.
Nella scatola ci sono 3 filtri: 1 per il caff in polvere 1 misurino, il secondo sempre per la polvere ma per due misurini, e un terzo per la cialda: ogni cialda pu fare massimo 1 caff. Sotto il filtro vi la figura per non confondersi tra i misurini.
N.B.: ALL’INIZIO LA MACCHINA PUO’ DARE DEI PROBLEMI MA DOPO ALCUNI GIORNI DI CONTINUI CAFFE’ IL RISULTATO SARA’ ECCELLENTE; LA SCHIUMA ALL’INIZIO NON C’E’, ASPETTARE ALCUNI GIORNI, IN CASO NON CI SIA DOPO UN PO’ DI GIORNI, PROVARE A CAMBIARE CIALDA O POLVERE DI CAFFE’ (IO UTILIZZO BORBONE E VIENE OTTIMO).
Ottimo cappuccino, caldo e non tiepido che in inverno non serve… ottimo davvero!!

dopo un po’ di utilizzo la macchina ha iniziato dare problemi tecnici per cui ho dovuto provvedere a fare la riparazione che poi non e’ stata svolta e quindi mi sono stati restituiti l’intera cifra spesa per l’acquisto; servizio riparazione davvero scarso (voto 0) non attenti e non risolutivi;
Les plus :
– Le look vintage trs sympa
– Le caf est bon.
– Trs simple utiliser. L’arrt est manuel.
– Le prix raisonnable.
Les moins:
– Les vibrations.
– Le bruit.
– Le percolateur est toujours de travers.
– Le nettoyage compliqu, l’appareil ayant de nombreux “recoins”.
– Le premier caf est tide. Idal si on aime … le caf tide.
This is my second one (had last one for 6 years & used 10 times plus every day but steam noise seal is now leaking) & definitely recommended. Only niggle is Steamer makes lovely micro foam but could do with an adjuster to allow for less foam (like one of Delonghi’s other models). Easily as good or better than many at over twice the price.
For a home machine, this makes a really good coffee. I’m used to using a commercial machine and so wasn’t quite expecting the quality which the icona delivers. I am pleasantly surprised.
Usato giornalmente da pi di un anno e mezzo, fa un ottimo caffe (ovviamente dipende anche dalla cialda). Non uso i filtri originali perch avevano guarnizioni di plastica che ho voluto evitare, anche se parlano di plastica “alimentare”. Utilizzo filtri per cialde di altra marca “philips” compatibile, solo alluminio. Altra pecca la difficolt di agganciare la macchinetta quando si inserisce il braccio per fare il caff: attenzione, la maniglia (piccola ringhiera posta sulla parte superiore) delicata e si lesiona facilmente. Quindi, non bisogna forzare tanto, anzi si deve trovare il modo per avvitare il braccio senza agganciare La struttura suoeriore. Comunque, si usa tranquillamente, con questa piccola attenzione, non ci sono problemi. Dal punto di vista funzionale un ottimo prodotto, fin’ora senza problemi; riscalda benissimo. Estetica di nostro gradimento. La ricomprerei assolutamente, anche per il prezzo congruo (pagata 15% in meno rispetto al negozio). Imballaggio perfetto. Arrivo celere. Grazie a Amazon.

This is quick and easy to use, produces a very good cup of coffee and has proved very reliable and consistent.
Only issue i had was if you switch on the machine and the steam button is already in the on position the machine switches off after a few seconds.i thought it was broken.

This is the second De’longhi coffee merchine, our first one broken after 3 years, we have done some research, but still love our original one. So here we go!
I’ve been a trained barista for a few years but this is my first at home machine. It’s so easy to use, and takes ese pods and ground coffee.. both so easy to use and make a really nice coffee. The milk frothed also makes instant cappuccino milk! Couldn’t be happier off of first impressions.. will be interested to see the longevity of it.

I had what I thought was the same coffee machine for 10 years. I used it daily until it broke. Great machine as lasted a good length of time. I hope my new one will last just as long.I was surprised to see some changes in the design in comparison to the older model.
Purtroppo ho vissuto anch’io il problema degli spegnimenti involontari dopo una settimana dall’acquisto. Ma talmente buono il caff che fa e bella esteticamente che l’ho sostituita con una identica invece di cambiare prodotto. Ora questa sembra non dare problemi e funziona alla grande. Il rapporto qualit prezzo c’ tutto. Le aspettative dopo aver letto le recensioni sono davvero confermate. Un buon prodotto davvero. Non c’ che dire, anche con miscele diverse il caff sempre buono. Non bollente vero ma buono proprio per questo. Non ho provato le cialde, ma non una prova che far mai. Preferisco di gran lunga la miscela in polvere. Cappuccino e vapore anche loro davvero ottimi.
edit 2021: la macchina diventata rumorosa, la plastica del serbatoio balla, si dilatata (basta metterci un dito sopra per smorzare il rumore) e poi l’acqua ovunque, oltre ad essere una idrovora perde acqua da ogni uscita. Ho tolto una stella. Il caff continua ad essere buono, ma va fatta manutenzione periodica

Had my machine for coming on 10 years and still in first class working order. No parts peeling or falling off. Agree it is a bit noisy, but what espresso machine isn’t. Can’t fault it in any way. Let’s hope for another 10 years.
Coffee maker arrived early.
Although it was a used item the machine was in perfect condition. It was in it’s original packaging and the only way I could tell that it was a used item was that the box had been resealed with tape.

Ho aspettato un po’ per fare la recensione. Chi ha fatto recensioni negativi non sa fare il caff a mio parere. La macchina buona Se si bravi a fare il caff, pressarlo bene ed usare ovviamente un buon caff, il risultato davvero ottimo, con buona schiuma e sapore. Personalmente mi trovo meglio col macinato che con le cialde ma anche con le cialde non male. Se si usa il macinato un po’ scocciante la pulizia in quanto facendo uscire solo l’acqua dall’erogatore non si riesce a pulire bene e si deve sempre passare una pezza. Il beccuccio per il latte si deve usare professionalmente e si deve fare un po’ di pratica perch altrimenti escono le bolle. Tuttavia non siamo mai riusciti a far uscire la cosiddetta crema latte come al bar. Esteticamente il top.
pro: style vintage, presenza manico/imbuto che permette utilizzo,oltre alle normali cialde ESE, del “normale” caff in polvere, presenza vaporizzatore x un ottimo cappuccino, superficie superiore che intiepidisce le tazze, presenza della piccola pressa a lato per posizionare il caffe in polvere bello compresso, sapore del caff in cialde spettacolare, ma per me si ha l’ottimo con il caff in polvere Passalacqua Mexico…e detta da un napoletano….qualcuno mi potr capire…. prossimo step caff in chicchi di questa marca e macinino in modo da avere la stessa funzionalit di una che fa tutto lei e che costano almeno 200 in pi.
contro: l’unica pecca che trovo, e che ho notato anche in altre macchine del genere a capsule e non , pi economiche o pi costose, la temperatura del caff, nonostante la tazza intiepidita…mi sembra un po’ freddo… ma a me piace il caff a temperatura lavica..per me pure quello del bar spesso freddo.. sar che sono abituato al Vesuvio 🙂 cmq consigliatissima
E’ noto come il caff arte ed espressione di numerose culture mondiali cambi i propri aspetti organolettici a secondo della zona dove lo si gusta. E con questa De’Longhi Icona Vintage ho capito una cosa, non tutte le macchine da caff fanno il caff al quale siamo abituati.
La resa aromatica sufficiente e la caldaia scalda subito, peccato che per come preferisco il caff avrei desiderato una temperatura maggiore, mentre mi ritrovo sempre un caff intorno ai 50 gradi e questa secondo me la sua pecca maggiore.
La temperatura cambia quindi il tipo dell’estrazione risultante, il caff ha un sapore delicato, direi che a tratti ricorda anche un po’ l’orzo, non sgradevole, ma non mai caratterizzato da quel sapore forte e deciso dell’espresso napoletano che mi piacerebbe ottenere anche da questa macchinetta, pu darsi anche che io debba cambiare miscela, ma ho i miei dubbi.
Tuttavia ritengo che l’estrazione non sia di cattiva qualit, la definirei pi che altro diversa, ma sempre arricchita di una piacevole cremina.
Suggerisco questa macchina a chi vuole un caff delicato e che non scotti, credo sia pi indicata per le regioni del nord e del centro italia e meno indicata per come piace il caff al sud.

Quite short space to place the cup. You can only put a small one under and you have to switch it off yourself as it doesn’t have a timer or programmed.

I’ve had one of these for 5 years or so, great budget machine. It’s never going to extract all the flavours of professional kit, but it’s close enough for me. Going to buy another one for the office. Hopefully they’re still as robust!

Makes a very good coffee. The temperature is the only thing that I think is not perfect. should be hotter. So every time I have to use the steam to heat my mug, and that’s why is not 5 stars.

Bought one on discount due to imperfections which was advertised as less than quarter of an inch but clearly the imperfection was at least 1.5 inches big! So obvious it looks awful
Almost two years since I bought the Icona from Debenhams. Excellent coffee every day. Replaced a Gaggia that only lasted a year. Thanks De’Longhi. (but it is not automatic! Get to know the machine)
Brilliant piece of kit, makes the espresso with minimum fuss, steam is great and heats milk enough, easy to clean, for me its great.
This is the second Icona I’ve had, both lasted approx. 4 or 5 years before dying, the last one started blowing the house fuses… Not worth opening up and fiddling with, as water and electrics are tricky partners. I work from home and drink plenty of coffee, the machine is used every day and frequently. The 5 year ish lifespan is, I think, therefore acceptable. It is very easy to use, heats up quickly and my wife uses the steamer, which has always been ok. Ours is red, which is a great looking retro kitchen item.
Only criticism is the noise, it seems to rattle even with a full water container.
The coffee machine is ideal for taking a little time and pleasure preparing good coffee. together with a grinder, I am able to learn how to prepare different coffees to my liking.

Probably the best thing I’ve ever purchased! Saved me so much money on coffee from large outlets and tastes so good. Lidle ground coffee is the best with it too
After initial set up problem was resolved, it looks great & makes amazing coffee. It’s easy to clean & heats up ready to use quickly, what more can I say.
Exactly as described, easy to use and clean. Makes lovely coffee, only downside is that it doesn’t come with a jug to make cappuccino. Would recommend it.
It’s so good. I use it everyday in the morning.
I have no idea why people have problems with this machine. It works perfectly well, produces great coffee (we use Lavvazza rosso) only wish I’d bought it sooner, as we already have the vintage kettle and toaster.
This machine is a bit of an upgrade to our previous one and works just as well. The espresso tastes great but you can also make a latte, hot choclate it any hot drink with ease. The milk frother has improved and is now much easier to take off and clean.
The machine can be used both ground coffee and ESE pods. We use the brand Illy who do both types and they can both be purchased on amazon for a reasonable price.
The machine is a little noisy when is use but I think this is something you have to expect with a coffee machine.
This machine has a lovely sleek design and looks a lot more expensive than it is.
This is an ideal machine for anyone who enjoys a nice coffee out and about. You can add syrups to make it exactly how you like it.
I would recommend purchasing a milk frothed jug as it doesn’t come with one and also a milk thermometer and cups/mugs.
Ad ogni modo il caff eccellente, davvero molto cremoso. All’interno presente un dosatore, molto utile per mettere il caff in polvere e due porta filtro, uno per fare un caff, l’altro per farne due.
– Si pu inserire sia il caff in polvere che la cialda e questo secondo me davvero una cosa molto pratica.
– Il caff si fa molto velocemente (come nel video)
– Su amazon si rispariamo almeno 50 euro rispetto al negozio.

Un consiglio, anzi, due. Come tutti gli oggetti che stanno a contatto con l’acqua i filtri tendono con l’uso ad otturarsi, in questo modo la pompa si sovraccarica e si scalda. Conviene, quando si nota che il caff inizia a faticare ad uscire, fare un bel lavaggio con l’aceto ( va messo dove andrebbe messa l’acqua e bollire in filtri in acqua bollente. Dopodich fate due o tre caff, rinserite l’acqua e la macchinetta torner come nuova.
– Non l’ideale per fare il cappuccino, non so come mai ma sia questo modello, sia il precedente, mi hanno dato dei problemi, anche in questo caso la pompa si surriscalda moltissimo.
Per per il caff la migliore, questa qui la terza che compro, un regalo per una coppia di amici!

The steamer/frother has good power and makes a really good latte with a perfect mix of milk and froth. The single and double shot express options are great although we never use the single shot. We also don’t make 2 cups at a time, preferring to make 1 cup at max strength at a time. The machine isn’t powerful enough to do 2 max strength cups in one go. The machine is a bit noisy and vibrates a bit but for the price this is not an issue really. We bought a separate grinder for around a tenner which grinds our beans for the week which we store in a tupperware container and use the double shot. It would be great if they could combine a grinder into the model but that would be extra cost or upgrading to the next level up I suppose. The water tank is removable so you can clean regularly and not worry about weird stuff in the water. It needs to be descaled at least every 12 months thoroughly or it’ll get all jammed up, but you can take it apart fairly easily and clean it.

Design vintage, ispirata alle macchine da caff che si potevano trovare nei bar degli anni ’50; dal vivo molto bella e penso stia bene in qualunque modello (stile) di cucina, disponibile in diversi colori. Buoni i materiali, i colori sono realizzati con una speciale finitura lucida con dettagli cromati. Questo modello utilizzabile sia con caff macinato che con le cialde E.S.E, grazie al nuovo porta filtro con sistema “crema” “2 in 1”. Personalmente ho provato sia le cialde che il caff in polvere e ho avuto per entrambi un buon caff cremoso. E’ anche dotata di un pratico ripiano poggia tazze (che si trova sul piano dove ce la manopola per regolare il vapore da far uscire per “gonfiare” il latte) che le mantiene in caldo e sempre pronte all’uso. Ha un un ampio e trasparente serbatoio d’acqua da 1,4 L, fortunatamente estraibile per facilitare la pulizia e riempimento. In questo modello il pressa caff incorporato. Dall’altro lato troviamo il beccuccio dal quale esce il vapore che “monta” il latte in soffice e cremosa schiuma per cappuccino o volendo anche per caff macchiato. Sulla base troviamo un “vassoio raccogli goccia” di plastica con griglia in acciaio, facile da estrarre e pulire.
Facile da usare con tre semplici tasti per tutte le funzioni: accensione/ spegnimento, richiesta di espresso o cappuccino. Dopo 9 minuti di inutilizzo la macchina si spegne da sola cos da evitare sprechi di energia.
Ho notato che durante l’erogazione del caff fa un po’ di rumore, le tazzine vibrano ma niente di grave..allontano la tazzina dall’altra e ho risolto. A questo proposito ho letto che qualcuno si lamentava del fatto che la macchina facesse rumore, lo fa. Non un rumore fastidioso, leggero..sopportabile (almeno per me).
Consiglio l’acquisto.
Obviously you get out what you put in, so use fresh water every day and quality, freshly ground beans if possible. With a bit of practise you can froth milk in a number of ways, but a thermometer is pretty essential. It’s also necessary to quickly wash the froth nozzle after use, too, but that’s standard for any milk nozzle unless you want to become ill…
The ‘ESE’ pods are rubbish, and are best avoided IMHO. I tried some Illy pods, but the coffee wasn’t anything like Illy’s prime product, so I binned the lot and went back to making it the traditional way. I don’t use the press thing either, I hand press each container full of coffee.
Overall – a fantastic buy, which I hope will last a long time.
