Desview T3 Tablet Teleprompter: That is View!

[Something You Should Know] Desview T2 vs Desview T3, how to choose?

  1. If your prompting device is over 8”: Desview T3 > Desview T2
  2. If you haven’t prepared any L-shaped mount or video rig to attach any video & photo accessories like microphone or light: Desview T3 > Desview T2
  3. If your prompting device is under 8”: Desview T3 = Desview T2

[Notes Must Read Before Purchasing]:

  1. This Teleprompter could only work with cameras and smartphone and couldn’t work with camcorders.
  2. For camera users, if your lens isn’t 49/52/55/58/62/67/72/77/82mm, then the teleprompter couldn’t work with your camera.
  3. For all teleprompters supported to be controlled through bluetooth (no matter of Desview or other brand), if you feel the remote control doesn’t go smoothly, just disable the bluetooth on the prompting device– your phones or tablets and then reconnect the bluetooth, then everything will go well again.

Used to produce very professional info videos but had to work out how to use it. The user manual is rubbish.

Works really well with my Canon EOS and an iPhone 8.
    Loving it!

I bought this since I have a small commission to do that requires some ”to camera” dialogue, and the person will have so much more confidence if she can read her lines. Previously we had to do multiple takes. I’ve tested it and it works perfectly. In fact, even though it says larger cameras are not suitable I’ve found that by using two tripods, I can use my Canon C100 Mkii as the main camera, with an iPod to read off of. So very happy with this purchase, which is such great value for money!

    Perfect for my teleprompter needs

The teleprompter is really great value for money. It actually feels 4x times better than what I expected based on the youtube videos., but there are some problems at least with the first unit I ordered and returned.Hope the replacement will be all right. In general,I do reccomend this product as for that price tag you get a lot of value and the overall quality is very good.
Very practical item with good remote, easy to use and very smart and compact design.

The glass was smeared from the inside and can’t clean , also inaccessible due to the profile of the pyramid shape box especially where it becomes really tight and narrow at the frame
The glass can not be removed as it feels like its stuck permanently behind some plastic bits(teeth, like things that hold it) and if you push it will break.

The manual and the photos are not straightforward to understand but when you spend 5 min it make sense.

Overall build quality = 7 out of 10 for me.
I am impressed by the overall performance and its definitely better in real life in comparison of what they show you on YouTybe.

Love the remote control but there is a big issue with it.The index finger front button (play/pause) is so loud and clicks like so sharp that every microphone will catch that sound if you use it. Instead you can use the joystick to play/ pause as its more quiet and virtually inaudible if you learn how to press it softly.

The foam in the box seems good to protect the item during travelling.

I wish if they could update the app DesView so that you can use second Android/iPhone as a remote control or just seeing what the speaker sees in order to control the text speed and navigate remotely behind the camera. That would be amazing update… plus adding a voice recognition of the text.

If you’re looking for a small, well-designed, easy to use teleprompter, this is great! Setup is pretty easy but I’d recommend going to YouTube for instructions – those provided, in print, with the product were confusing. Once set up, it’s super easy to use.

It’s very easy to use and it comes with everything you need. You can even use it with a phone
And also comes with many step up rings which is so helpful to attach to your lenses

The app is good and simple
    The remote control works well

Highly recommend it. I think for the price it’s a bargai

    Easy to use

This has been a perfect balance for me between cost, ease of use, and being a good step up from the really small teleprompters that only take a phone.

It’s very easy to set up which is a major bonus too, a lot of the bigger ones I’ve used before have been quite clunky.

There’s a decent choice of good iPad apps out there now too, so in many ways to use this type of teleprompter is better than having a much more costly traditional type.

The good thing about this teleprompter is that it will work with tablets as well as mobile phones. I’ve used teleprompters using my mobile before but this makes life so much easier.

There is the standard app to download (not available through the Amazon app store so if you use a Kindle Fire you’re going to have problems) from either the Play Store (Android) or the App Store (Apple). The bluetooth remote control is in the box, so with a few minutes assembly you’re ready to go.

It also comes with a variety of fittings so if, like me, you tend to use your mobile phone, or if you have a larger camera there should be a fitting for you that will mean you don’t need a hood and can match up your lens system.

The assembled device is quite heavy. I wouldn’t want it hanging off my but it has 3 connection threads at the bottom to connect it to a tripod or screen mount and I’d recommend another to support your camera. If you’re using a mobile then the clamp provided is sufficient.

The mirrored glass is good and only looses about an F-stop of light. If you have auto light compensation you wouldn’t even notice it. There is a very very slight red shift, but again if you aren’t going to use a meter to measure it, I wouldn’t have noticed it at all.

Practise is the key to using a teleprompter to make sure you are natural sounding, but one the equipment side, this is grea

I purchased this device and discovered that it is too small for a commercial shoot.

However, it is a great device for the personal vlogging.

I explained this to the supplier. They have now offered a replacement. This is one of the very best customer service responses that I have come across in over 25 years of business.

They have issued to me an upgrade, free of charge, of a different autocue device that is bigger and more suited to my needs. They are now sending this to me, no questions asked. In their email to me, they said:

“As a growing company, we’d really appreciate…Your good buying experience is very important and meaningful to us. Therefore, we always strive to satisfy you in every way.”

You cannot ask for a better level of service than this. It makes a nice change to be able to commend a company for this attitude and action.

Yes, the first device is fine for smaller vlogging and blogging shoots, and for this I recommend it, and I will keep it on hand for my own quick set up needs when out an about, but, I look forward to using the new larger Moman device on my commercial shoots with my clients.

Well done to Moman. I cannot recommend you highly enough.

Folk can shop with confidence in your store.

I’ve recently been doing more scripted work or helping other creatives with theirs. These Teleprompters are great, very functional and easy to use. I particularly like the fact that this one comes with a cover.. The mirrored glass can get dirty or damaged when stored on some others, It’s very useful to just put the cover on and put it back in the kit bag/ storage without worrying about the glass.

Equally nice is the range of the supported devices… My phone and my tablet fit nicely, so I can fix either depending on how much text I want on screen.

Without the phone/tablet, the device is lightweight, so I trust fixing it to my lens without support, that it won’t damage the mount. Though for some tablets, I might support it. The remote works well with the app, and is all quite self-explanatory..

The box comes with all the needed kit, with various adapter rings to set up as needed.
    Very happy 🙂

    Great piece of ki

For a long time, I wanted to get myself a teleprompter, but usually, they were too expensive or didn’t meet my camera requirement. Finally, I found the one that works perfectly with my Sony camera and offers a phone filming option.

Having all of the adjustment rings makes sure I can use the teleprompter with any of my lenses. Also, being able to use a tablet or a phone for my script is a good option. My iPad is bigger, but I got a smaller one to use with the teleprompter.

However, I am very close to my camera, so the phone is doing just perfect. Finally, having a remote control is a fantastic feature. It works very well and is very responsive.

Well done on this product. I am happy with the purchase and will recommend it 100% to anyone.

Easy to set up and well build teleprompter.

At first it looks hard to setup and manual looks not informative enough. But as soon as I started to setup I noticed I managed to get everything working in less than 10 min (spend more time to setup lighting to take photos))). I tried it with my camera and iPhone 12 as teleprompter. As I mentioned everything simple, intuitive and once you do it you won’t need any instructions in future. Build quality is nice and no any wobbly parts you don’t trust. Mirror is great as you can see on photos and does not effect the video quality. Software is very simple and not many options but after a few test I noticed no other options necessary – you can change the text size, speed flow, even colours but not sure why you need it. Remote control is very handy to have but not every time it catches your clicks and buttons marked like PS remote so not too intuitive. I think remote quality and design can be improved but anyway its really handy to have any. Overall really good impression of teleprompter for that money. Tried it not as test only but for video shoot and text was clear even at sun. Does the job, Simple and very easy to use!

    Simple and nice

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is perfect. It bridged the gap between the small versions that can only take a phone and the larger ones which require so much more setup and can be a general pain to use.

This is the type that uses step up rings and clips into place on the end of the lens. No need for a floppy material hood which always sinks down and gets in shot. Furthermore, it’s wide enough to allow even a 24mm lens on a full frame camera without the sides of the housing being in view.

Grabted with it having the ability to take a tablet, it can get heavy but they’ve thought of that and enabled you to use a lighting stand to take the majority of the weight.

Would also work with rails too.

Can not fault this and the remote works perfectly.

Best I've used. And I've used quite a few.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve previously used the Desview T2 Teleprompter and recently upgraded to the T3. It has a few extra features which include quick shoe mounting points to add an extra light or shotgun mic. As a result, the T3 is slightly heavier than the T2 (about 100g more), so you may want to consider using a dedicated support (depending on your setup). However, I was able use it mounted on my camera lens, without additional support, without any problems. Additionally, the setup is completely toolless, whereas the T2 required a screwdriver. Finally, I found that the 2-way mirror works better than the T2, meaning that you can increase your phone or tablet’s brightness setting without risking glare in the video. Overall, the T3 is a fantastic Teleprompter—I highly recommend it.

Just what you need in a small compact lite weight teleprompter. The screen protector is easy to remove. I use my smart phone with the app you download and works brilliantly. The remote is easy to connect via bluetooth and the controls are easy to learn and very reactive. The unit comes with ring adaptors for all lens sizes and the low weight makes it great it use lining up shots on a tripod. There is no light leakage and the words are easily read. Can’t fault it.

    Perfect compact teleprompter.
