Absolutely fantastic, i absolutely love these nail guns, better than the gas paslode
Great set of Nail Guns, so much more convenient with no gas.

Excellent piece of kit really happy with choice I made
These guns are brilliant, love that I don’t need gas and the case they come in is so robust. I wish all tools came in such boxes.

Son-in-law thinks this is the best thing since sliced bread

They need bedding in a bit but no issues at all. Yet to try them with paper collated nails and the wire weld are harder to come by. Expect to be left with useless gas cartridges but they really are excelle

superbes machines silencieuses et sans fil, mais il est prfrable d’avoir une ou deux batterie en plus si on ne veut pas attendre quant on utilise les 2 machines en mme temps !
Great but of kit and very easy to use, not too heavy, and being battery powered requires no gas, I think you do need the two batteries that come in this pack to keep yourself going on a long day, switching them over when one goes flat worked well.
Only have them a while
But so far all good. Bit quieter than the gas nailers..
I’m Back again just a little over a year from when I bought them. to give a little feed back.
Great tools. Use then for decking, roof and joist work, second fix on skirtings and stairs etc. Not even one problem with the two guns since I got them. Well pleased with them.
Great long life battery’s as well.

Absolutely brilliant – saves me loads of time – should have bought them ages ago

Brilliant bit if kit. I bought this twin kit due to the price and the few positive reviews I had read about them. The passlode guns get really good reviews but struggle in the cold with the gas and not to mention the price of them each. I waited until a Black Friday deal came up on the internet and bought them then. I didn’t buy from Amazon on this occasion and paid 595 saving just over 50 in doing so for this kit. What a bargain. Once I received them I noticed that they are heavy to hand compared to the passlode and that’s about the only negative I gave give them. The first fix gun has been great whilst working outside on a roof with no misfires and no problems with the cold weather. I like the small plastic guard for the nose so that wood can be protected whilst in use. The bump mode is great allowing fast work. The belt or joist hanger is very good. The second fix gun works as it should again with no misfires at all. Belt hook works as it should and the led lights on the guns base is an added bonus. Charger and 18v batteries work as they should and to top it off the dewalt tough system storage box with foam insert to store both guns and charger. What a great bit of kit and worth the money for two guns compared to just one passlode gun. I can’t fault them at this time at all dewalt have done there homework this time.
amazing bit of kit puts all other nail guns to shame. I use this daily as a roofe
I’ve had to upgrade both my first and second fix paslodes after about 10 years use on each
I’ve owned many other dewalt tools over the years all of which vary in performance and quality
These perform great but their build quality is average
The battery performance is great even on bump mode allowing you days between charges
The one thing I’m not sure about is if the 1st fix will hold up in the outdoors weather
Paslode was great in wet and cold. I’ve had this in mud and light rain but not a heavy downpour yet
Hopefully these will last as long as the old paslodes
Apart from the total mess up with prime delivery and item being left on my step for a week in view of all passerby the item remaind undamaged apart from very soggy packaging. The water tight , air sealed tough system case protected the contents well . On opening up the tool box for the first time, The nailers, batteries and charger had been fit into the foam cutouts with Velcro retainer straps holding them secure in the box. Although these nailers came with two 5AH batteries I decided to test them with my 2AH battery. Both Nailers perform very very well for battery power only . To date I have used two boxes of brads 32mm & 50mm with DCN660 without a single miss fire or jam. Also used 500 or so 90mm smooth shank nails with similar results. In every case the nails were flush or driven below the surface of the wood. In the past I have used tacwize corded electric finish nailers and paslode 1st fix nailers and the Dewalt is equally as good as either . Bump features on these work great with faster or at least equal speed as any cordless nailer. The nailers battery only operation is a great feature over others that use both battery & gas. Several hundred shots on a single charge seems to be easily achievable. The trade off for battery only is the nail guns are slightly bulkier and heavier than the other popular makes but can take smaller XR batteries to minimise the issue. Regardless of weight and size the nailers are well balanced and easy to use. Both nailers have belt hooks with the framer being tool free to turn the hook out of the way or for left or right hand use, If you are building a cross platform collection of cordless tools as me then this is a no brainier with two 5AH batteries that fit all your other XR tools. Over all I am happy and impressed with what a battery can do these days and Dewalt have maximised on that with these great nailers..
