Best tool bag I’ve ever had, lots of pockets and you can find things, plenty of room but easy to carry. It’s pricy for a tool bag but I think it’s worth it.

From a DIY enthusiast perspective, this is worth the price and Dewalt did not disappoint on this one. The canvas denier is heavier than the bags you get with the combo kits. It seems like it will last a long time – a lot longer than the bag that came with my 5 tool kit. The dual zipper is easy to use and the pockets seem just right for a general purpose bag with a focus on electrician tools on the outside. It does not have the volume of a 24″ bag, but is perfect for loading up for a specific purpose project.
it’s a great transport help but the way some arrangements are made in there make them not so all purpose. So depending on what quipement you want to lodge in there it can be great but it’s not for all your tools even if portable…
Plenty of space and so far seems plenty reliable.
I use it primarily as a project bag, but keep a small core of items in it all the time. Should strap on a skew angle is great for when I overload with multiple power tools 🙂
I am amazed how much this bag is the perfect size to carry 3 power tools and most of the hand tools I need everyday on the job site. With the shoulder strap I can carry my tools up and down stairs between floors O need to done my job with ease. Before I would carry 2 12″ desalt bags and a bucket with all my hand tools make the journey up and down stairs tiring and cumbersome. I bag keeps everything organized and easy to find any tool I need quickly. It’s a sturdy and durable for the job site. I am very pleased In purchasing this bag.

good general tool bag for your truck or around the house. I might look at something else for commercial use, but so far this has been a good tough tool bag.

This was purchased for my husband who has had a very similar one for several years. The original one is still in use and holding up very well so when he needed an additional one, he chose this. It is great for use on a boat or around water because there are minimal (if any) metal fittings that could rust. In addition to basic tools, it will work for all sorts of things that need to be kept in order. Five Stars – very satisfied with this purchase.
Tough bag, looks beautiful, holds much tools, but the side narrow pockets should be slightly wider to have the screwdrivers sink safely inside, i lost a screwdriver bcz it was sitting shallow
I have the smaller, short tool bags that I bought to use as a medical bag but they fold to something that’s short when you zip the top. I have bought medical bags but they are often flimsy compared to tool bags. So I looked for something taller than the usual tool bags.
This bag is certainly big and sturdy and larger than what I need it for but I can add a few more things for my medical kit. I didn’t really find anything in-between something like this and the short tool bags which would have fit my purposes a bit better but it will do fine.
My only other suggestion on the bag is the addition of a Velcro closure on the handle straps would be a nice touch. Many other bags have this and it’s nice to just grab and go instead of having to put the two straps together.
I bought this for my husband as we have been working on his fathers house & this is excellent for organizing tools. We combined it with another Dewalt carrier as this allows him to put his electric drill etc in the carry portion . Has been incredibly handy to keep tools organized & portable.
I bought this for a friend to store her DeWalt circular saw. It’s the perfect size for the saw and additional blades. It’s extremely sturdy and durable which is why I opted to choose DeWalt.
My husband LOVES his new bag. The bag is super sturdy and very durable. He has 4 tools with batteries inside along with all the pockets full and still has some room. The strap that comes with the bag as well is very sturdy. Would Definitely buy agai
Well it is not “exactly”like the picture in fact nothing like the picture. As you can see from the tape measure I have along side of the bag I received it is 24″ long. Other dimensions are 12″ wide x 13″ high zipped.
Let’s start with the zipper system. From the way it must have been stored or shipped the expanding internal material was so messed up I could not get it to zip without reworking the ends of the bag. Even now it’s difficult to work the zippers until you get it on the top of the bag. There are NO outside pockets like the picture along the 24” length. I mean absolutely NONE! This is actually a plus for me as they become a place for sawdust and dirt to accumulate. There are two pockets on each end, (one on each end with a flap). Inside the bottom is not DeWalt yellow but black. There are four pockets inside and one storage zip pocket for valuables.
The DeWalt name on both sides is done well and looks rubberized. Overall this bag is extremely sturdy if you can live without the pockets which I can. The canvass is tough.
I plan to keep the bag although my problem is is this in fact “thee” bag or a cheaper bag sent as a substitute. IMHO, I think it was worth the $65 if you compare it to luggage prices.
UPDATE: looks like I was shipped the wrong bag from the one I ordered. Not sure what is going on at Amazon but their vendors do not see to know what they are doing with these DeWalt tool bag products. The gag I got is actually listed somewhere else and instead of the 18″ bag I got the 24″ bag. There was about a $3 different in price that I paid extra for. I will stay with this one as I mentioned I don’t care about the 28 pockets. Glad they do not sell cars!
I’m about 7 months into the IBEW electrician apprenticeship program. Normally the guys in this trade I’ve worked with have bought Klein bookbags, but this was a bit cheaper and seemed to offer more room overall. After about 2 months of use, I have no complaints. This may change as I obtain more tools, but so far it’s been a good investment.

Tons of room and pockets for drills and hand tools
I ordered this October 2018.. my fiance has acquired many tool bags since then but has yet to find one he loves as much as this one! Every bag has ended up with pockets coming unraveled or the material being thinner so they get holes.. tools are heavy, obviously, and he has had thing thing jam packed and it’s still rested comfortably on his shoulder making it easy to carry even for its weight.. I would recommend to anyone!
Great tool bag. Holds tons of stuff. Seems very sturdy and durable. Bought to store my cordless Dewalt tools, 2 drills, circular saw, 4 batteries and 2 chargers and drill bits. Shoulder strap comes in real handy too. Fits everything perfectly. Jut be aware the more you put in it the heavier it gets!!

Bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas as he uses his tools quite regularly and didn’t have an easy way of transporting them. He’s very picky and looooooved this bag. The size is great, has a lot of compartments and fits so many things. Absolutely great buy for the handy man in your life.
This is a great bag and it will take everything you throw at it. Plenty of inner and outer pockets as well as a vacuous interior. Pretty much takes everything I need for a job, and I’m thankful for the heavy duty shoulder strap because it’s getting too heavy to carry.
Product is high quality and durable for the average home user and holds a lot without being too large and cumbersome – would recommend.
This bag was way more heavy duty and well made than i was expecting. Outgrew my old take along tool box. Plenty of room for all the old stuff plus a few power tools i couldnt fit before. Used my 9 pound dog for reference. Could easily fit 3 small dogs. Love all the organizing pockets too so you can ffind things easier. Great bag
Can hold a lot of tools, many pockets. Has stood up for a couple months, carry drills inside and hammers etc.
