Grab a bargain, B&Q sell it for £170
It is a wonderful machine state of the art design for functionality. Costs less than en Einhell in B&Q
The very Bes
This is the old ELU model and still the best out there.
Did the job!
Great piece of kit. I’ve wanted one for ages, so glad I finally purchased one as it made the fitting of my kitchen much easier. The only slight downside for me was the circumference of the grip/starter lever too big. As a women, I found it difficult to press then button and hold the starter lever at the same time. Maybe it’s time manufacturers realise that in some households it’s the women that does all the DIY and make the grips slightly smaller!!

This saw is perfect for a keen DIY hobbyist or woodworke
Man this saw rocks, I have used this to make up I mitre joints for a hexagon acoustic panels so far and it really shines. Never had another so can’t compare it but I’m very happy with it.

Totally fine for DIY
What I really like about this saw is that because it slides into itself like a trombone it takes up less space and even more so because it stores tilted to 45 degrees. It’s also really easy to calibrate to make sure that the cutting angle is correct and the system is robust enough to hold the angle once set. The way you get a shadow of the blade to indicate where the cut will be is a nice touch. On the negative side it does not cut very wide (ie the max width of a plank that you can put in it is not very big) and because the slide is not fixed and therefore not parallel to the deck you can’t adjust the depth of cut (on my old machine I could choose to not cut all the way through which was really handy for making parallel cuts that could then be chiseled out to form a groove for a joint. I do miss this feature.

Superb saw, be better when I master the handle
I struggle to hold the handle, button and switch all at the same time.
Great Saw
This mitre saw is much lighter than my old Makita one. Easy to use, quick to set up & cuts lovely. Great tool.
