Playing through Aladdin and The Lion King after all these years was a fun kick. The former has aged rather well and the latter isn’t quite as good but still fun enough. The graphics for the games still look good, even on my 50″ hi-def television. The sprite work has aged well, especially for Aladdin. I loved the bright colours and smooth motion. The music is also still very good. It brought back some of the PTSD I suffered from that damn Magic Carpet Ride (not Steppenwolf) and the hippo swinging.
My kids enjoyed the games and couldn’t believe how much harder they were compared to kids games now. But they still appreciated it and that’s all that counts. I may not come back to it very often but it’s great to have it for a pure boost of nostalgia every now and again. Not bad for ten pounds.
Great set of games and great value. Loved playing them when I was little and my boys and wife enjoy the simplicity of them now.
Bought this as a present for my grandaughter, she loved it.
