The product on fast five minutes is great and good enough (but takes half an hour to heat) using the blanket otherwise it is only luke warm.
My blanket arrived packaged well on the outside but the plastic holdall it arrived in was a disgrace it was ripped everywhere I thought the blanket was a return but when inspecting it it seemed ok. The item should have never been sent out in that condition.
My husband bought one of these two years ago, and has been saying how good it is ever since, and telling me to get one. As a fan of a hot water bottle I felt I didn’t need an electric blanket, how wrong was I!
I was persuaded to have one for a Xmas present this year. It arrived with the extremely cold weather, thank goodness! It’s brilliant. I put it on quick heat just before I get into bed, it’s very warm within 5-10 mins, I don’t feel I want to have it in overnight atm but my husband does as he needs to get up during the night and likes to get back into a warm bed. Fortunately we have separate beds! Can absolutely recommend them, wonderful!
I love this electric blanket. I turn it on around 40 mins before I go to bed and when I get into bed it’s snuggly warm. It doesn’t have a timer on it, so you will need to switch it off. As soon as I feel myself dozing off, I turn it off.
This was to replace a double size blanket since I bought a king size. Actual element size is not much bigger than double – but just enough to stop me exchanging it. I have owned several Dreamland blankets in the past with no major problems. This takes longer to heat up than others, certainly not 5 minutes! It usually stays in place and is very comfortable. The controls are rather more flashy than is necessary but I guess these days technology is over-used. I hope this over complex controller doesn’t come at the cost of reliability. Would recommend – some reviews were very critical but not correct in my view.
I love this blanket, it is soft and comfortable, doesnt move about on the bed and is very quick to warm up, and is safe and can be turned on if i get cold. worth every penny

I have a bad back and this has made such a difference. Can’t have the central heating on with this however prefer my back having the heat.
This arrived really quickly. The fast heat setting is brilliant and the choice of 1 – 5 give ideal choice depending on your requirements. I’m well impressed.
