Not much to say. Bought this to replace my mains strimmer as it was a pain running the cable around the garden when I was putting final touches on the lawn. This works well and didn’t cost a fortune. Fine for lightweight work like grass but not sure how it would cope with anything more substantial. Works for me though and the battery life is also fine for a quick no fuss run around the edges of the lawn.

I found that this lightweight machine has a very powerful motor and took everything in its stride , my jungle outside was very thick and overgrown but this machine took care of it all.
I found the battery life was a bit disappointing. I would certainly consider getting another battery to take care of swapping over if you have anything like a large garden.

Good length for me at 6′ 0″ tall. Operates easily and simple to use. Cuts well.

Liked the fact that it’s lightweight and has no cord. Worked well for first four times then stopped working. Have got a return slip from Amazon, but I will have to pay upfront the cost of the postage, and find a box to put it in, so not impressed with it.Expexted more from Bosch.

Bought this to use instead of the heavy petrol strimmer we have to do easier jobs like edges and borders.
Very impressed with it! Very simple to operate, lightweight and the battery lasts easily long enough to do the jobs I want. The battery itself charges fully in about 20-30 minutes.
I have been impressed with how much it can actually do and it has tackled long grass and overgrown areas with ease.

I purchased cordless because the area I wanted to strim was too far an electric lead. This is my first purchase of cordless garden electric equipment and so far I am pleased with it. It works as a strimmer with automatic feed of the line. The instructions mention a button to push to feed more line but there is no button and it all happens automatically. There is a button to push to turn the head 180 degrees. Assembly from the box was very simple.

Works well. Easy to assemble. Would have liked two strim lines but the line is fairly strong

My first cordless strimmer lives up to all my expectations! The freedom from cables makes all the difference! I have a series of large lawns and meandering grass paths running through a field/nature area. Brilliant for strimming the paths – just slowly walk along and done in no time. Can’t emphasise the “freedom ” aspect! Have got a second battery just because of the amount of paths but it’s copes ok when just on the lawns. Not for the really big tough tall weeds but hey I’ve got a scythe for that!

This product has been a game changer for my garden. Its so quick to attach the battery and then get around the whole garden. The best thing is that bits so lightweight, which is great as both my wife and i damaged our backs.

The battery is very quick to charge, and seems to have plenty of life. My lawn area is about 40ft square, and it only takes me a few fins to get round all the edges.

The wire system is also brilliant. Every time you click the power button, it releases a small amount of wire. that way the feed is continuous and never needs manually feeding.

We love this product so much, we went and purchases the mower in the same range.

I have used it for about 5 hours and has done all I have asked of it. including a session of clearing some brambles and nettles.

I thought this would be good enough for only small tasks… But I tackled a very overgrown garden (above knee height on grass) and it coped solid.

The battery does not last long… Maybe 15 20 mins max…. But I have many of these batteries from my drill and multitool.(6 of them) so was able to just continue using and swapping them out and by time I was done…the first battery was fully charged.

It has earned its keep in one go alone…as quoted 60quid to just strim the garden down…so it paid for itself as I bought on Amazon day.

If you got some 18v batteries off other Bosch tools (check compatible)…get this. You’ll be fine… otherwise…it will be flat in 15 mins ..and a heavy overgrown garden..will take lots of recharges to do.

I bought this to go with my Bosch reciprocating saw and drill as the batteries are interchangeable ( buying the jigsaw next) it has not disappointed lightweight easy to flip over to do edges and battery lasts long enough on one charge to do the edges of a large corner plot law

How easy it is to use and power full for a small power full little machine with its own self feeding strimmer cord.

I have above average size lawn and trim the sides easy and quickly without having to keep charging the battery.

Easy to use and lightweight. Unfortunately battery is very short unlike my old one. I have bought two batteries which gives me roughly half an hour.

Not as well engineered as previous 18v Bosch tools, so loses a star. Easy to operate, lightweight and can be used with earlier model 18v batteries. Good price at the time, so worthwhile purchase.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersEvery garden tool I have is Bosch and they are far and away the best for cordless in my view. This is lightweight but solid, the battery life is plenty for strimming and the design means it switches easily for border control (where have i heard that phrase before lol) . It took about 5 minutes max to put together and is to replace an old Qualcast equivalent which to be fair has lasted 6 years. I’ll come back in 6 years if this hasn’t been as good…..

Easy to assemble, easy to use, only very annoying as the line keeps getting wound around the mechanism and it’s an absolute nightmare to disentangle.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersEasy to “assemble”. Quite light and easy to use. Cuts grass and weeds….
MUCH more convenient than my old petrol Mcculloch or corded Flymo strimmers.
Battery life is only about 15 or 20 minutes full on use, but I would suggest that if this is a problem you should be buying something more industrial instead? (like a lawnmower?) I get bored by then anyway and do something else while it charges.
Comes with a spool with a lot of wire – I haven’t managed to use it all yet.
Nearest thing to a gripe: when you have assembled it you can’t disassemble it to put it back in the box! – which I would normally do to put it away for winter…
UPDATE 12/8/2020: Still excellent. I now know the spool holds 4.5 metres of line, which lasts about 6-8 hours of my strimming. I bought a Bosch spool/line spare last time but am now looking at trying generic 100 metre 1.6mm line packs.
