Have used this airer constantly since we bought it. It does work best with a cover as things have dried quicker with the cover we bought. I would not be without it now!
easy to set up, can take a lot of washing including hanging stuff and works well; all you need to do is to plan where the washing goes to make the most of the heated rods, very good.
I love it if I still have my old one it would take my clothes 24 hours

This is OK but it doesn’t hold as much as I was expecting and also needs a sheet putting over the top to keep the heat in or it takes ages to dry the clothes. The timer is at floor level too which is really awkward. I wish I’d spent a bit more and bought the Lakeland one to be honest.
The airer is simple to use, easy to operate and is good at what its for!
I struggle to dry my washing indoors and all those non tumble dry items just seem to hang around for ages drying.
But with this I can dry those items over night. The bars don’t get hot enough to burn you which is great, but it’s surprising how it heats a room.
Love that it folds away for easy storage. Just don’t try and dry heavy towels and jeans on this, leave them for the tumble dryer.
Does exactly what you would expect for less money than a tumble drier run. It takes a bit to load it up and long term I could imagine the plastic clips will beak (but you get a few spares). Am happy with i

Hi there, It does it’s job very well as it says in the description on Amazon. Using it since last 3 months and found that cloths dry well in the winter.
Wheel holder is made of plastic (threaded inside the frame) which makes it a bit weak. The frame as such is made up of Aluminium though. If the wheel holder also was made up of Aluminium or iron then I would have given it a 5 star rating.

It is the best clothes airer I have ever bought no more cluttering my radiators to dry clothes I just use it for drying items that can’t go into the tumble dryer and it folds nice and flat and stores in a cupboard
Love it. It does the job beautifully and you can use it without the heat if you need to. I’ve used mine quite a bit and haven’t noticed a big rise in my electricity bill. So different from using the tumble dryer.
The only thing that is wrong the switch is too low down.

I love this, I live in an apartment and have no where to hang clothes. I put them on my clothes horse over night and they are dry. Fabulous. Worth every penny
Initially had problems finding on/off switch near bottom of one leg. Thereafter, very good
Quite good really , however you maybe have to get on your hands and knees to work the switch ! Another one metre of cable cable would have been required to lift the switch into its logical position ( about 15 pence worth) . Also ,the lead to you plug is about half the length it should be . All to save pennies on an item of 100 ! !
Dries well, definitely worth putting a sheet or similar over the airer when in use to keep the warm air contained. I bought this instead of a tumble dryer because I didn’t really have the room and it’s a good alternative.
I love this heated airer ,its very easy to use and economical .it heats up quickly and is easy to load ,dries clothes evenly ,but takes a little longer for towels .I put either a sheet or two single fitted sheets(one each side so elastic fits over the wheels) when loaded then the warm air stays in longer .Would have given it 5 stars but the on/off and timer switch are right at the bottom ,which is a bit silly as they should be more easily accesable at the top .All in all its a good buy and very useful.

The seller has been amazing. I’m so impressed by the customer service I’ve received. Hermes were being a pain but the seller stepped in and resolved the issue. As for the item I’ve only had it a day but so far so good. I’ve left it on all day and my washing is all dry now. Would recommend.
Pros- uses much less energy than a traditional dryer and all clothes can be dried including delicate fabrics and jeans. Plus it warms the room up nicely and the cats love to tuck in underneath for a mini sauna
Cons- not quick. If you are used to your clothes drying in an hour or so, it won’t! I leave it on the 4 hour timer and depending on the washing load (thick jumpers/ towels) it will need another 4 hours
Note- for better efficiency, you must get the accompanying cover

This would be the second winter we will use this and can’t find any fault with it. The design, build quality and overall look is really very nice.
My only problem is the size and position of the on/off switch. Much too low, small and fiddly. Otherwise very helpful when dealing with a weekly washing for a family of four.
We had just moved into a small flat from a house with more radiators and we were finding that clothes were taking a long time to dry
We wern’t sure about buying one of these as they are expensive but oh my God we are so glad that we did!!
Clothes take a night to dry now and we have found that they actually dry smelling like our clothes conditioner (something that didn’t happen before as they were hanging out for aaages)
We didn’t buy the cover for the first few months and would just wash our duvet cover and put that over the top to keep the heat in but we have now invested in the 40 cover and it makes such a difference
Thicker items of clothes take a bit longer if you hang them over one pole but we do thicker items and lie them as flat as we can over as many of the bars as possible
We’ve also started being creative with how we hang clothes so that they get as much heat as possible
So glad we bought it and would 100% recommend

it was quite easy to assemble( fit the feet) and it seems reasonably sturdy, and holds lots of clothes at once. this is quite a useful addition which helps to dry clothes well. would recomend

A bit flimsy on it bar that a fantastic airer. Dries clothes really quickly and is very cheaply run. It’s a great alternative to a tumble dryer when you have a 19yo daughter!
Clothes dry really quickly. The timer is a great bonus and pending the items drying, 4 hr timer is sufficient. 10/10 compared to similar electric rail dryers.
I bought this because as the temperature got colder, my clothes were taking longer to dry and I was worried they’d start smelling damp. I now put this airer on overnight and 90% of the clothes on there are dry in the morning- with the exception of heavier items e.g. jeans which take a little longer. It’s cheap to run and has made doing the laundry a lot more easy and fun!
Brought drier was impressed. Leaflet in with product you can buy cover separate. Went online couldn’t order. Emailed to be told it’s discontinued. Not impressed as I only had dryer a couple of days. Now can’t get cover for it.
Good size for family of 4. The wheels help swing it round. Works well & fair price.
Very good product. A little less sturdy than I expected but the upside is how light it is to move. My model has wheels which you have to fit yourself. A little fiddly but not a problem. Good capacity for clothing. Dries within hours provided you don’t overload it , nor should you put wet washing on it. Washing should be damp but no more. Use in a ventilated room though if you can. Can’t comment on economy yet but recent washing dried in 4 hours completely so I suspect it will be cheap to run. Definitely more effective with the cover on it. Only real criticism is that I wish the on switch was higher up. Its too low. I would recommend this product though.

Really happy with this airer so far. Since having my baby 6 weeks ago, the washing machine is constantly on the go! With only a washer dryer combo, it feels like it takes forever to get through the load, plus limited space and no outside area to dry clothes, I wanted something to remedy the issue.
The dryer takes quite a lot of clothes if hung sensibly and dries quicker than if I was using a normal airer obviously. It’s not necessarily ideal for bed sheets and towels but finishes them up nicely if they’re still a little damp from the dryer.

I bought this over ten years ago, its price was then around fifty pounds. It is still working. Five yeas back the fuse near a foot needed to be changed. Useful tips: don’t load it up with too many cloths and please cover it with a sheet do clothes dry quickly. I have dryer too, so I dry the heavy cloths like sweaters and jackets half way, so they become bit lighter and then leave them on it over night.
If you dry the cloths without crowding to make no wrinkles is there then morning time you may not need to iron your clothes. I love my dryer and thank you to manufacturers that it lasted so long.

Just what I was looking for it is not expensive to run and I just throw a king size sheet over to keep the heat in you do have to read the instructions which way to open and close but it’s very easy that’s pribanky why some of the other comments they said it had broken I’m very pleased with mine thank you

Love this product, saves expensive hours in the tumble dryer, which I only use briefly now for fluffing up towels etc. Not so thrilled with the cover as it is fiddly to assemble and looks hideous, but does do what it says as it helps to dry items a bit quicker.

I usually dont write reviews unless its really good or really bad. I loooove this thing. Without it i am not sure how we would have waded through this badweather UK has to offer. Just hang your clothes and by mornings its all crispy and dry. Uses very less electricity . We usually keep it running 24 hours and had no issues for last 1 year (fingers crossed) Absolutely brilliant product and idea and worth every penny. The fact that its flat and clothes are lying horizontally makes it work better than towel rails. Wish we had 2 of them.

Ideally, use a dehumidifier in the same room as your airer. But, if you have a dehumidifier, you probably don’t need a heated airer in the first place – an unheated one is likely to do fine.
Consider buying a dehumidifier (check Amazon reviews to find the best one) and trying it with a standard airer before investing in a heated one.
Dehumidifiers do make noise, of course, where heated airers do not. Me, I’d rather have a bit of fan noise from time to time than mould on my walls and window frames.
My air dryer is all I expected. Living in an apartment means damp clothes hanging around, this is the perfect solution. I am very pleased I bought the 3 tier and not the 2 tier, a lot more room to dry clothes. It also seems to warm the room up.

This product came on time and it has fullfilled all we expected great produt and does what it says,little flimsy but it is ok .
Overall I’ve given this four stars as it is probably the best solution for those who cannot have / don’t want to use a drier. Goodbye smelly, damp clothes hanging on the radiator… 🙂

The clothes dryer is just the job for airing clothes indoor during the winter. It also warms up whatever room it is in. It is large but a little bit flimsy so only time will tell how long it will last. All in all a good purchase though.
