Bought for my touring caravan for a festival. Easy to fit but you will need to buy a couple of additional items namely some Sikaflex sealant/adhesive (about 13) and a double solar cable entry gland (again about 13).

I watched a youtube video on how to install it and managed it by myself in a couple of hours without issue. Basically wire to the battery first then the solar panel.

Worked really well, basically by the time I got up in the morning every day the battery was fully charged!

    Couldn’t be happier!

I originally purchased this kit over 1 year ago for our off grid static caravan, we have tv on almost constantly, phones charging, iPads, lighting ect. We were so happy with the value we purchased again for our campervan.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersEasy to install as it comes with all the kit. Nice long cables makes things easy .good quality solar panel and nice controller. Only thing is the instructions are not great on how to use controller.
Best unit I found and works well little expensive but when you see the quality of the panel maybe explains it .

Fitted the 2 x 170w solar panels option to the roof of our newly converted 2004 Renault Traffic LWB camper van and they fitted perfectly with a roof vent in-between. Nice little kit that that fitted easily and came with all the cables and mounts i needed. We used a good special white adhesive / sealant to stick the plastic mounts direct to the roof of the van and seal the cover for the solar cable through the roof. The controller has small contacts but it comes with some crimp terminals, so make sure you have a crimper. The controller is small but the terminals seems to be solid with a nice clear plastic panel over then to avoid touching. The controller comes setup by default to connect to a normal 12v lead acid battery but you just need to make sure it’s connected to the battery first before the solar panels! The panels screw to the plastic mounts with some self taping screws and after a lot of research we were happy to stick them to the roof rather than screw them and make more holes as i read a whole technical article about the science behind it and that the adhesive sticks them about 100 times more than required.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI bought this to try out solar for a small project. I paired it with an old car battery ( not ideal) to charge various battery packs, laptop, fan, lights and it works a treat. The weak link in the system was the old battery. I soon swapped it out for a lifepo4 50a battery and it’s fab.

Absolutely excellent product, great value for money. Customer service I cannot fault so helpful and friendly and nothing to much trouble.
If you are going to buy solar panels then these are the ones to buy.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersFrom reading reviews it looks good and really looked forward to seting all up.was happy to come home and it was on time, went to open it and grip the solar panel but from my understanding and sharp pain in my hand, relized all the glass was broken spent good bit time picking bits out My hand, could not even get out box it was that bad,so given it 4 starts as delivery off item was poor so that’s amazon issue and not the company that makes the solar.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI had an issue with the solar charge controller, with less than 3 days use, where the 12v DC load failed. So after contacting Ecoworthy (directly and through Amazon), and a little bit of backwards and forwards communication the issue I have had, has been resolved. Now I cannot highlight how pleased I am with customer service I received, and has given me confidence in purchasing a high specification solar system for my home, once I have had time to undertake some renovations.

I honestly recommend Ecoworthy products, and if there is an issue, they are willing to help with little to no effort on the customers side…..now to look at the larger systems for the home.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Customer Service

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’ve now had a sensible conversation and it seems I have misunderstood what the display is showing me.
Charging a LipePo4 battery. I’ve set the controller to charge at 14.4v but it only ever showed 13.x Seems this is the state of the Battery not the charging voltage.
Re-reading the (very tiny) written instructions this is implied – my bad.
As to the rest of this kit. It arrived very well packed all the pieces were there and it checks out. It’s not yet in it’s final location but it does seem good value.

Original review and reason left below.
Sent the message below to Eco-worthy through their web site.
Told to contact them through Amazon.
Can’t see how – so single star review till I get an answer.
    “Greetings
I have your 30 PWM charge controller.
I understand the optimum charge voltage for LifePo4 to be 14.2 – 14.6v
The display shows I have set it to the Li option but so far I have not seen the displayed voltage to be more that 13.2v
At that voltage the battery will never fully charges.
    Please advise.
    Thank you”
Now had a response and I’ve revised my review as promised.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI tested the system indoors before placing it on the garage roof. Very well build. I have connected to leisure battery 130ah and later more bateries as system is producing more power then expected. On January 10am with low sun it gives about 1.5A and 20w/ hour. During day easily around 10A. That is from 2x 120w panels. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars absolutely awesome system!

I’m using this to charge a battery power pack. 2x 70amp gel batteries in parallel. Having to use it through a window at the moment so isn’t ideal, am getting a couple of amps in full sunshine, i expect better results outside when I take it camping.
Easy to use. I have used my own terminals and wiring to fit it to the battery and inverter. Happy with purchase.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI use this with a 110 Ah deep discharge battery to check the feasability of solar power for my home. I run a 600 W inverter from it and have been pleased with the results – going ahead now with the house installation.
