Ran out of cotton buds, and local store didn’t have any for sale.
Found these online quite cheap (at the time) and does their job.
Fun fact apparantly you shouldn’t use cotton buds to clean ears, still they do the job perfectly.
I mean it makes sense to be gentle/careful in such an area.
After purchase i found out they were bio degradable, can’t say that made a difference or that that was the choice for why i bought them though it’s a nice bonus.
These are just like regular cotton buds but environmentally friendly. So zero reason not to swap over and use these and help the planet!
There is nothing to say other than great service, environmentally friendly and excellent value.
Will last ages as there are lots in this deal. They are easy to use and do not come apart when in use.
J&J cotton buds have become useless since the switch to paper/cardboard. These are much better.
Used mostly for make up corrections they might be a wee bit rougher than other brands but just need to be more careful.

Personally I prefer another brand which uses paper stems, but I’m quite happy using these as well.
I use these mainly on my ears, and the only issue I have is how stiff they are compared with the paper stemmed versions. But they work fine one you are used to them.
Where I think they absolutely excell is in cleaning inanimate things, like keyboards, mice, electronics and the multitude of other fiddly jobs done by Q tips / ear buds. The added strength of the bamboo and cotton quality makes these jobs easier.
Beautiful robust product. They don’t bend or snap and the bud stays completely intact. Love the packaging too – it felt like I was giving presents when I handed packets out to my family – so sweet.
Many of the non plastic versions of these are really flimsy and if you use them for your ears (which I know you shouldn’t do!) that can be really annoying. These are sturdy and so make controlling them easier. Also great to know I’ve made a more eco choice. Definitely recommend.
I get why we need to move away from single-use plastics, there is no reason for a lot of them in this day and age, but we also need to use the best tool for the job. And unfortunately, paper Q-tips like you find in all the supermarkets are not the best. Far from it. When the second you get the paper Q-tips wet and put and pressure on them, they just fold and collapse, so they are pretty much useless.
Step up to the plate, Ecoshoots Bambuds. Coolest named product ever, Bambuds are the hero we all need, yet don’t deserve. These little Q-tips are environmentally friendly, and super sturdy, you get get them nice and wet, and they don’t lose their shape. Just please, do not dispose in the toilet, just wash them down and dispose in the trash.
This product (not necessarily this brand) was very expensive when it first came to market, so happy to see that volume is clearly making the price accessible, these are very good value, boxed great, and should leave you with no reason to ever buy the evil plastic ones ever again.

Bamboo rather than plastic gives you a sturdy cleaning experience and it is as good for the environment. If you enjoy an ear cleaning session, then look no further.
I love that you can be eco friendly and not feel you are paying over the odds for it. These bambuds are terrific. Superb quality and superb value for money.
Bought to do a cats ears that need cleaning on the edge (vet advice). Lovely and small, but big enough enough for the job. Do not like ear buds but being biodegradable helps. Cat is not so sure. All packaging is recyclable as well.
Apart from being made from bamboo, there is no obvious difference between these and “traditional” cotton buds made with plastic tubes.
They are sufficiently strong, slightly flexible and easy to use.
Unlike plastic cotton buds, they can be disposed of in standard home recycling bins.
Definitely worth buying
The cotton bud bits are not as soft as the general brands from the chemists or supermarkets but they work fine and they’re not plastic so I will buy again.
Amazing product, cheaper and am much happier with the eco-friendly packaging and zero waste as it is very tight. The buds themselves feel really nice and even better to use than the one’s you would buy at the hypermarket/supermarket! Great product again really happy and surprised as it’s my 1st time but won’t be the last for sure!

First time I’ve tried the bamboo earbuds, always used the high street favourite before(j+j). These are so much better, very sturdy, cotton bud on the end stays in shape and absorbs thoroughly, I’d recommend.
Only used to dry ear canals gently after a shower, I know I’m not supposed to, but not found anything thats does the job as well. Be careful.
About as eco friendly as a disposable cotton bud can be. Great quality and very reasonably priced.
These are the best cotton swabs, and the value is superb! I will never use anything else! Very quick delivery and attentive service.
As good as the old blue sticks that Johnson did. These are very good quality, the sticks do not snap like most other bamboo ones. The bud has a nice amount of cotton for a comfortable clean.
Gave 4 stars for use, as the boxes are impossible to close once open, leaving the buds exposed to dust.
OK so these (400 pack) are the same price as Johnson and Johnson pack of 200 so already half the price (good start) and my biggest pet peeve with the j&j ones are how easily they bend when used! Happy to see that these bambud ones don’t bend!

Love these. The sticks are sturdy and the buds themselves are a perfect size and they are softer than the usual ones. As well as that, the bud fibres are compact and sty firmly on the stick. I don’t think I’ll use anything else now

I used these cotton buds to help clean the inside of my nose after rhinoplasty – was really comfortable to use and didn’t fall apart on me like some other bamboo cotton buds do.
I used to use common plastic cotton buds like most other people without even giving it a second thought until I saw a TV documentary which implied that the plastic from them is one of the top contributors to the detriment of health in our wildlife.
Since then I’ve also began working in an environmental role and since discovering the bamboo equivalent I’ve used nothing else. I won’t ever purchase plastic buds again.
Have found these to be substantial. Soft and pliable as needed. Organic and recyclable. Good deal.

These are absolutely great, I wanted to make the switch to more eco friendly earbuds and I couldn’t be happier with them!
I normally go for paper cotton puds but since I’m so busy with work and other life stuff, I havent been able to go out and buy them. These Eco ones were so cheap considering the extra eco friendly material.

These buds are great! Flexible enough for ears (for me at least), they’re not plastic so they’ll never be super flexible and that’s fine honestly, don’t need to be going too crazy with them. But they get the job done! Really good value! They’ll be good for anything I need them for.
These are a great alternative and we wouldn’t go back to plastic buds.

They’re sustainable but the bamboo on one of them cut my inner ear due to a tiny splinter I didn’t notice. Will be checking them before use.

Love these cotton buds. Let’s face it, I stick them in my ears. And though not recommending this, they do stand up well to it! No splintering or breaking and not a scrap of plastic in sight.
Like everyone I wanted to make the switch from reliance on plastic products. I had tried the cotton buds that used reinforced paper as the stem of the bud but found them very flimsy and prone to folding. I have found Bamboo to be a great alternative. I now even have a bamboo toothbrush. This brand are extremely cost effective as well

I bought these bamboo buds as a replacement to traditional cotton buds, the price is not much different to the cotton buds I used to buy but the quality is so much better and the fact they are made from bamboo helps the environment as bamboo grows quickly and is sustainable. I look forward to buying more products made from bamboo.

I bought this as I know the plastic earbuds are not very good for the environment. It has taken some of the guilt away by using the bamboo alternative.
In regards to sturdiness I have personally found them to be very similar to the plastic ear buds they do have some flexibility.
I got the 1000 and these are going to last me so long and they actually work out cheaper then the plastic ones
All in all very happy and will order again in the future when I run ou
