1. All functions can be controlled via ECOVACS HOME App on Smart Phone. Therefore no remote controller is provided. For customers unable to use ECOVACS HOME App, please contact our ECOVACS support team.

2. For the first Cleaning, please turn Advanced Mode to “On” in the App Setting section. The Advanced Mode will allow you to access a ton of features, like area cleaning, multifloor mapping, and virtual boundaries. After the advanced mode is turned on for the first time, there is no need to turn on the advanced mode again.

3. Please don’t move the charging station during cleaning and map creation. Otherwise, your DEEBOT will not be able to find the charging station, and also the map cannot be saved.

4. For better mopping experience, please wet the mopping cloth first or wait for 5-8 minutes after filling the water tank.

5. To create your first map, it’s a good idea to set up your home:

  • Pick a good spot for the charging station. The OZMO920 uses it as home base, and once the map is created, you can’t move the charging station (without having to create a new map.)
  • Open all room doors and clear all obstructions that would prevent the OZMO 920 from finding all rooms, hallways and areas.
  • Pick up any loose items (clothing, toys, etc.) and tidy up loose cords and wires.

Whereas others have let me down and expected more of me than I could give, Deebot has proved himself to be hard working, dedicated and reliable. Endlessly selfless he busies away taking on my burdens and leaving my carpets fresh and delightful. He’s the real deal. The best thing I’ve ever bought. My one true love.

Love the fact this little helper does my hoovering while I tidy the house. Leaves floors looking great. Battery does run out but I have a larger than normal floor area.
Only negative is that its a bit of a challenge to sort the mapping out. But once sorted- it’s fab!

Probably my best purchase in the last couple of years. It works amazingly well and it’s so fun watching it go about vacuuming and mopping the floors while I chill on the sofa. Absolutely recommend.

Quick to set up even if your are not a techy. Has it two months now and it has good auction. Sometimes it’s map seems to overwrite so I have to reset the map . Not so good on saving upstairs and downstairs separately . Even tho the app says it should. I do now have some problems with the lds- laser distance sensor. It says it’s blocked – instructions are that you should tap it gently but that really doesn’t do the trick. I blow in the top and it seems to then work – just an intermittent thing – it maybe because I have a lot of dog hair fluff around . I am considering another for upstairs . The suction is great and nice to see hoover lines in the carpe

Works well. Not as powerful as one I had previously but this is far more reliable and doesn’t keep losing maps etc. I set the suction to maximum so don’t end up using the suction boost. Mopping is also set at maximum as feel it needs that level to do anything on my floors. A great robot that does a great job

This is an amazing little device which has helped me keep on top of the house work so much. Once the house was mapped it’s so easy to use. You just need to watch it the first couple of times to see where is gets stuck like on the cat post or chairs and then you can create a no go area for it there.

    Honestly the best buy eve

Use this for regular cleaning to keep on top of things. The suction is very good, but let’s be realistic, it’s never going to be as powerful as a corded Dyson. I use the Ozmo to clean the house about twice a week (it’s so easy), and once a month, I use the Dyson. Battery life is fine for the 8 rooms in a single clean. In summary, it doesn’t replace a big vacuum, but it helps you keep on top of things by enabling you to do frequent easy cleans.

Really pleased with the product. Cleans well, definitely picks up a lot of dirt and dust. Transitions well from hard floor to rugs and doesn’t fall down stairs! So a really handy gadget if you are hard pressed for time and need to vacuum frequently. Would definitely recommend it.
Only 2 cos -can only hold 2 maps. Support solution from the customer team – “buy 2 vacs” if you need to store more maps. So not very helpful. Mopping element is not that effective so resort to the mop and bucket every so often.

Bought this recently on black friday deal after looking at reviews and recommended by few people. It’s a great addition to our house and made our lives easier with a baby. It saved a lot of time to tidy our house. It took a good while to map the house and get used to. We leave it on every night to wake up to clean house in the morning. Noise is a bit loud but i would say it’s nothing as unbearable. Happy with our purchase so far.

Bought this as a Christmas present for my mother. She is not very tech savvy but has embraced google home. The map feature is very good and the ability to make no-go areas. It cleans in a logical manner (unlike my older conga robot). It is easy to set up and the waste box/water tank is easy to remove. She has yet to use the mop function but is looking forward to it. The map renews every time cleaning starts and shows areas which have been cleaned or not cleaned. It gets a little confused when faced with chrome or shiny objects. It missed a few spots but robots can’t see dirt yet. It verbally announces when it starts to clean and if you are unsure of where your robot it, you can get it to beep with a touch of a button in the app. The app took a little getting used to. It is quiet compared to a regular vacuum but has good suction power. You can link it to google home, give it whatever human name you wish and use your voice to get the robot to clean. The robot has a female voice which cannot be changed.

I’ve had this 6 months now and I love this robot hoover and mop. I start it manually maybe every other day or so and it keeps our very light grey floor free from cat hair, crumbs from the kids and general dirt. I very very occasionally have to get in my hands and knees and spot clear a stubborn stuck on bit with a cloth but very rarely. It’s great at not leaving dust in the corners or behind awkward legs. My only annoyance with it is it’s a bit larger than I expected so sticks out from under the cupboard I thought it would just hide under. And also for me personally it lives right by the cat flat so is constantly covered with cat hair and it doesn’t have the function to dust itself!!! If it could also empty it’s own bit that would be a winner!!!

I don’t leave it unsupervised (normally set if off and sit and have a cuppa!!) because it does sometimes get stuck either on the tracks for the sliding doors (this can cause it to drop the mop part) or in the corner where we have a doormat. It can’t clean the doormat when the mop bit is attached but is very insistent on cleaning the small strip between the mat and by the cupboard kickboard.

I did originally plan on lifting it into all our rooms myself (each room annoyingly on a slightly different level) to get the most for my money but I haven’t even done this. Not sure whether it would cope knowing the layouts of multiple rooms. But I’m actually just happy using it in the kitchen.

Investing in a robot hover and mop has been life changing

So I’ve been using this for a good few months now and can now give my honest opinion on it.

    Good:
    Room mapping is nice
Gets most things off the floor
    Bin is a good size
Mopping function works pretty well on hard floors (I have laminate)
Good zoning in app to avoid certain areas
Rotating brush cleans carpet and mats pretty well
I have 2 cats and it picks up hair and litter (wood pellet) with ease

    Bad:
2.4Ghz only – If your ISP router is rubbish and doesn’t allow splitting 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz, this likely will have issues with channel steering and simply won’t connect.
Even though the room is mapped, it still uses front bumpers to hit things and figure out the room.. why not just use the LIDAR map to check the room and not have to hit stuff?
Front wheel doesnt seem to be removable (or at least VERY stuck on mine) so its a pain to clean out of the fluff
LIDAR noisy during operation. I get high pitched random motor / bearing noises from mine. Some may not notice this I guess, or maybe mine has issues?
Sometimes decides it doesnt know where it is anymore when having multiple floor maps, then pushes the dock around or tries to start an entirely new map.
Sometimes it won’t clean / overlap clean properly resulting in missed spots for no good reason.

Its not a perfect device, and the issues I have had, have been entirely random. 90% of the time it works entirely as expected, and then randomly it’ll just decide to have a funny few mins for no good reason with the mapping. HOWEVER, most of the issues can be worked around (run room cleaning 2x and itll hit the missed spots just fine for example). For the price though, its better than some of the more expensive brands that are the competition so I can’t rate it down too much as some of these failings are the same as the expensive brands!

Cleaning pads are machine washable, not quiet but what vacuum is. Fix down the base before you map floors. If not the bott will move it when Cleaning. It tells you when it has a problem but great item.

I just recently got it and have only had it set up for around a week but it does a great job so far. Does great on corners and effectively gets the dirt even from my carpets. I haven’t used it to mop just yet but it seems fairly easy and straightforward to set up.

Its also easy to empty it out which is important to me.

It has been a couple of month purchasing this robot as it has vacuum + mop together. Setting up and getting it to work very easy.

It maps out the house well and you can choose certain areas to clean/not clean, set virtual boundaries to any areas.

The only downside I found is that my carpet is quite thin so it cannot go on top of it and rather pushes it around and get stuck with the fringes. I chose to put a virtual boundary around the carpet instead.

    So far so good!

I bought this because it looked cool, and because I’d just been paid. Neither’s a safe approach, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised with how fun and useful this little robot vacuum is.

It’s able to navigate itself around with relatively ease, bumping into things and mapping its route with a decent attention to detail in regard to cleaning. Pathfinding is also excellent, it’s never gotten lost on it’s way back to the charging dock and when the room layout changes, it’s able to adapt quite easily.

It’s best used once a day as a why to clean up last night detritus. It’s able to pick up a decent amount, but its bin is quite small which a supports lighter use. It comes with a mop attachment (never used) and spares, and I’ve found it quite reliable in getting underneath small cabinets and tables without damaging or getting stuck. When it detects a carpet, the suction automatically increases to compensate which is quite clever.

Setup was painless. One button under its hood enters a pairing mode, the app picks it up and then you’re ready to go.
I’ve even gone ahead and connected it with Homebridge with a dedicated plugin that allows Siri to control it too.
One thing to note: it loves to eat wires, and it won’t let any household object get in it’s way.
    Think a T-800 completing it’s mission.

The long and short of it is, you don’t need this. But you’re not looking at robot vacuums because you need one.
It’s an amusing convenience, and I’m still not bored of this little robot going on adventures, meandering around the place. Whilst this is the first time I’ve owned something like this, it’s set a great expectation for any future purchases.

This was a great purchase. The digital map allows easy setup of no go zones but the robot works most of it out itself (carpets, stairs etc). Alexa integration means I can just ask it to clean a room.

Multi floor maps work ok but the robot did get confused once and started to redraw the wrong map. Generally I can just take the robot upstairs and push the button though.

I am impressed by the vacuuming. It does the edges well but can’t get into all the corners.

The mop doesn’t get many marks off the floor and the only compatible detergent is only sold in Germany. I put detergent on the cloth before setting it off and it lasts for the area we have. The water tank is hard to dry and I worry it might go mouldy over a long time.

It’s very easy to clean the vacuum and comes with lots spare filters.

It tends to navigate by bumping into stuff but that hasn’t caused us a problem yet. It detects tangles and will ask to be rescued (voice and by the app) if it gets lost/stuck.

Had and used this for a few weeks now and so far it’s made a massive difference to freeing up my time. Scheduled to come on at set times everyday. Great cleaning ability, gets in the corners and transitions from hard floor to thick rugs easily. Battery lasts for the down stairs, then I charge up and do upstairs later in the day. Easy to set up and operate, app really user friendly. Fairly quiet with good communication. Can’t fault it yet hopefully it will last well!

We have considered a robot hoover for a while.
    1) it sounds silly but it doesnt tidy… With toddlers there are often barbie shoes, toothpaste lids or other small ish items lerking just out of sigth. Its normally runs these over then makes horride noise.
    2) it needs semi supervising in my house. I exspect other could let it go on a timer or at night. But… It every clean needs somthing; un blocking, its stuck or tangled.
    3) the mop is much better than i thought. It has fallen out a few times but it isnt just an add on. And deals with paw prints well.
    4) the app is not simple. U think it is… Then try setting up another map to do upstairs you get mixed messages about moving charging doc. The pictures make the map look so neat. I havent achieve that.
    5) the robot voice is load… Not found a volume setting yet.
    6) it picks up well… And the first few times it shocked me the dust… (not had a compartment full warning yet, it just drops bits) i think because it goes under my sofa, beds and other furniture it gets hard to reach places so picked up loads. You do need to pause to empty, especially on first run.

Overall….with dogs and a toddler i would recommend.

I had eufy 30C and G10 before, they are OK but they take a lot of time to finish cleaning, stuck in some locations, tries to climb some furniture. Also, I had a problem when it is sunny that the sensors confuse sunlight with edge of the stairs that they were not cleaning part of floor which is sunny. Last drop was battery life in 1 year degraded so badly that I had to return.

Anyway, about this one, so far so good, I have the floor plan for 3 floors and selected virtual boundaries, no mop zones and it works great. Only I had it for a month. It does every floor almost in 10-15mins, you can easily see where it is at the moment, very efficient. It is a bit bigger than previous ones and taller too. It doesn’t go under beds but I am not complaining at all. Really happy with it, I hope that battery life will be good too.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFantastic piece of kit. I have been using robot vacs for years (this is my third). The older models used the random technology rather than the more intelligent LiDAR. I originally made this decision purely on price (Back then costing circa 1k). Just bought this in black friday for 269 (as of today, still has vouchers making it the same price) we’ll worth the money, the suction is great, noise is massively lower (I am guessing due to the brushless motors). My ground floor is reletively large with a cleaning area of over 65m2 across multiple rooms Inc carpet, wood and slate surfaces. It does this in one hit without getting stuck on rugs and doormats etc. App seems good, allowing you to set schedules and and a multitude of options. The initial clean maps out the floor plan then automatically zones the areas, you can then select either manually or via schedule, specific areas to be cleaned. What is not to love. My advice on the initial mapping would be to lift everything you can off the floor leaving only major obsticles (chairs/tables/sofas etc) down to get the most accurate initial map. You can then use the app to zone ‘no go areas’ (we zoned off the cats food bowls and kids play area due to the constant mess!) to avoid areas that could cause problems/spills/getting stuck. For this price do not even consider older tech it just isn’t worth it.

I've moved into the modern age!

I wanted to leave a review as I am a bit puzzled by the problems other people have had in other reviews. I’ve had this product for a few weeks now and it is excellent. We have hardwood floors throughout the house and it picks up practically all crumbs, dirt and dust, I have been very impressed, its much better than i expected. The mopping function isnt great, you cant add any cleaner to the water and struggles to remove dried mud etc.
I would think of this as a product to help maintain cleanliness to which you will still need to do a proper clean now and then, but for us with a toddler where crumbs seem to appear out of nowhere daily, this vacuum is brilliant in saving time vacuuming and keeping the floor clear.
The app is alright, nowhere near as bad as some of the review say, I haven’t had any issues. I’ve been able to set up a map for upstairs and downstairs, the vacuum recognises if I have put it up or down. It automatically sections your house, but you can adjust the size and merge areas, then set it to vacuum by area, which is great when you want it to just clean the kitchen. For the price I don’t think you can expect a Roomba level app, but this certainly works well, if not a bit clumsy in areas.
Battery life is fine, it can do upstairs and downstairs on a single charge.
Overall I am very impressed with this, cant imagine living without it now, makes life so much easier and keeps the house much cleaner. I got this on black Friday for 269, not sure its worth it for 399, but at 269 for the laser mapping it is a real bargain, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone.

It’s a fantastic product. I have always been skeptic about robot vacuum cleaners but I must say it’s brilliant. It was easy to set up and start using it, already connected to my Wi-Fi and the app. The machine does a very good job scanning the whole house and cleaning everything. I have both hard floor and carpet in my flat and the robot had no problems to transition from one to another, doing a great job in terms of suction power (and I’ve been using the robot at the ‘normal’ suction power. Also, I should say the robot has no problems in crossing door sills and it can go everywhere in my flat.
It does an excellent job under my dining table, going between and around the chair legs flawlessly. After scanning and saving the map in your mobile (which btw it’s not a default option – remember to activate it before start using the robot), the robot knows exactly where to go and stops bumping to your furniture.
I placed its charging dock under my bed (so it became invisible for visitors) and the robot always fine it’s way back to be charged.
Negative points: it struggles a bit with a big rug in my entrance hall and also with my bathroom rug (this last one I’m removing from the floor prior to the cleaning session).
I have now scheduled the robot to clean my house twice a week and I should say I’ve never seen my house so clean!
PS: I have no pets or children and my place is always very tidy so I guess it makes the robot’s life a bit easier.

    I’m so happy right now!

I must say I’m quite impressed, I saw reviews of the cheaper robot vacuums from several manufacturers and this one had good reviews, all in all its good, 2 maps are handy for when you carry it upstairs so it remembers, the app is also good, it keeps you informed if it gets tangled in a wire, or elevated and returns home to charge after about 1.5 hours on hard wood floor, about 70 mins on carpet on a separate full charge, you can also ask Alexa to start cleaning and off it goes, only small issue is the water tank, its very small and just drags a wet pad, so catches any loose surface dust, but it does not wash the floor, however its better than nothing, a good 4 stars

My wife frowned at this in the beginning but now puts it on twice a day by just pressing the on button. The app is great for selecting rooms or specific areas. However my wife just used closed or open doors to hoover selected areas. I like the mopping option and it’s not a gimmick and does the job well. I do add in a little cleaning fluid but make sure it’s the same fluidity/viscosity as water to cause blockages.

Golden Review Award: 70 From Our UsersBeen over a month I have been using this. It does a really good job in a 3 bed house cleaning wooden floor and carpet. I have the suction on max power and it cleans both up and downstairs on a full charge.

I do however have to do some prep before I clean, for e.g putting chairs and curtains up so it can do a more thorough job.

Regarding the mopping one downside is that it really struggles to get onto the carpet when the cloth is on. So if it has to cross one room to the other and there’s carpet in between, you have to lift it. See video

But this robot in my opinion is still worth a five stars on the basis of the immaculate job it does, battery life, obstacles avoidance and ease of maintaining itself. I’m surprised by the amount of dust it collects even after cleaning thrice a week

Used it for sometime now and it a great product (so far). Runs effortlessly and maps, customisations, cleaning, virtual boundaries, zone, area, and custom clean all work well. Haven’t yet tried the pair with google home and scheduled cleaning, and will update my review with that later.

Could have been D shaped to cover a bit more of the corners. The mopping however is a hit and miss. Mops as stated on the box but is no match to a good old broom mopping especially for corners. Also cannot get rid of stains on wooden floors as the additional pressure that you can add with a broom is not there . I have used the water outlet as high.

Also, if you have a dry wooden floor, will leave a bit of steam marks from the wheels. But overall a great product.

Knocking off one star as the mop could still evolve.

Golden Review Award: 29 From Our UsersOn the upside, the OZMO920 is a decent cleaner. It is excellent on hard floors although if you have narrow areas between rugs and hard floor then use the App’s geofencing function to define where you want mopped to avoid stranding.

The interaction with Alexa has improved recently, and you do feel like you are living in the future when you say “Alexa, ask Deebot to start cleaning” and off it goes. This model can store maps for two storeys of a house. The battery is good so I don’t bother moving the base station after the map is made: I tend to just take the Ozmo 920 upstairs, and either press the button to start or ask Alexa to kick things off and away it goes.

There’s an issue with the 920 regarding the Laser Distance Scanner (LDS) that it uses to navigate. Mine gave way and although Ecovacs were prepared to send out a repair, it was within warranty so they sent me a replacement, which is excellent service. If it is outside warranty and you are confident with tools, you can take the top off and replace the drive band with a rubber band of your own.

The real measure is how much dust it picks up: I was astonished that my recently mopped floor filled the internal dustbin, then did so again the next time, too. It’s pretty patiently relentless compared to a human and I’m a little horrifed that I used to unknowingly live amongst so much dust!

Golden Review Award: 88 From Our UsersEDIT: The hoover went wrong again, but Ecovacs sorted it within a week! Updated my rating. They’re customer services isn’t the best but the staff try to sort your issues as best they can.

I’ve had this now for 6-months and not only do the kids love it, my wife love it, but it saves me a lot of hassle when it comes to doing the housework!

It comes packaged in a beautiful box, everything has its place inside, all packed with foam and it from first opening it to take it out of the box it looks slick!

Setting it up was so easy! Simply place the docking station in an open area, flip the lid and configure Wi-Fi.

I watched endless reviews on the Ecovacs products (and on products from other manufacturers!) and I’m so pleased I settled for Ecovacs.

I had a couple of questions regarding the maps after I had it a few weeks but I have to say their customer service is second to none. They genuinely care about what their customers think, experience and say, and are on it when you have any questions.

Now the hoover is set up, it’s on a schedule to hoover the kitchen twice a day, and the hallway and lounge once a day. The laser (LiDAR unit on top of the device) is one impressive bit of kit. As soon as it starts cleaning for the first time, it begins to build up a map of your house. It then uses this map to do its cleaning the next time around. Once its mapped the boundaries (including your virtual boundaries you have added) the Hoover does the cleaning very quickly… and it does a very good job too.

We no longer hoover the downstairs of the house because the Ecovacs does all of that, and not only does it do the main floor area, but it gets underneath the sofas, kitchen units, TV cabinet, shelving, and round the back of the sofas where the hoover would not normally be taken.

We empty the bucket maybe once a week and it is amazing how much dust it picks up after each run. You won’t realise just how much dust and dirt settles in your carpet just from your everyday life.

The App is bang on. There were timeout issues when I first got the hoover but they’ve rectified that and it’s very responsive now. You can start the hoover cleaning manually using the app, you can track it in real time around the house from within the App, and you can tell it to hoover a specific area just by drawing an area on your phone. You can even have this hoover upstairs safely as it has anti drop sensors which detect the edge of the stairs and quickly backs up from it.

Everything about this product has been thought through. Right down to the side brushes that are snap-on to draw the dirt into the suction area. They are colour coded red and green to ensure you clip them on the correct side.

The main brush underneath is probably the easiest I’ve ever had to clean on a hoover. Simply nip two spring tensioned sliders and the bush comes out – it can be cleaned easily and clicked back into place.

I don’t use the mopping feature that often, however when I do it does a pretty good job. I use deionized water in the reservoir just to limit any potential scaling where water is left behind after cleaning. Normal water is absolutely fine however.

Overall, I am seriously impressed with this hoover. It just knows what it needs to do and it just does it. It even reminds you to clean it’s sensors and when it replace accessories!

Golden Review Award: 111 From Our UsersI have to be honest – this has changed my life!

We have a new tiled floor which is beautiful but shows every bit of dirt. I was hoovering with a standard vacuum and mopping every day.
This has made things so much easier.

The dust compartment is not small but is full almost every time I use it, which shows how good it is. You can adjust the suction power also.

I like the mop but sometimes the mop part comes off when I use mopping mode as it catches on one of the rugs, but it’s easy to slip on after it’s past this. Also – as others have said, it does not give a thorough mop but simply wipes over – which is fine if things are generally clean.

I have struggled a little with the app but have it all sorted now. Also I am aware that I don’t have the vacuum in the best place because of an awkwardly shaped room – but that is my own fault – and I have managed to work around it.

Can’t imagine being without it as it has freed up so much time to sort other things. It also merrily goes around in the dark.
    Fantastic!

Golden Review Award: 46 From Our UsersMy mum had bought a robot vacuum, impressed with it so much I decided to find one that is good on carpets as most of my home is carpeted with a medium/thick pile. This vacuum seemed to be a good contender and in my price range. So glad I bought it. Do not expect miracles but it is good for a light daily cleaning to keep dust and crumbs at bay while you are out or doing other chores. Also has a mop attachment which I have not yet used.

    Pros
    Great on carpet
Great on hard floor – can detect between the two and avoid mopping carpet, not yet used.
Can adjust suction power from normal to max though this reduces charge quicker – I get 3 bedroom flat done on a whole charge on standard suction. on max suction the battery runs out leaving 2 rooms undone and returns to charging point, recharges to full and continues automatically to complete the rooms not done (if you enable ‘continuous cleaning’ mode on settings.
I love the brush untangling tool under the lid – useful to carefully cut away hair tangled in the brush.
    Easy to empty bin.
Comes with spare side brush, mop cloths and filter, these can also be bought separately for good price.
Maps the home so you can clean by choosing an area, set boundaries and set a cleaning schedule.

    Cons
Lack of remote – can only be operated by app or single button on vacuum itself.
Cannot move the charging dock once vacuum has mapped home or it cannot locate it and will delete the map, so find a good spot for charging dock and then start initial clean.

    Tips
Maps the room on first use and saves the map – then you can select areas to clean etc – one very useful tip – when first mapping home, remove obstacles and cables out of way, and DO NOT return the vacuum to charge – let it do this on its own. Any interference will delete the map and you will have to start again. If brush gets tangled during mapping, just gently untangle brush and resume the clean from where the vacuum had stopped, again moving it can cause it to relocate and delete the map. Its not a major problem but can be time consuming to have to remap whole home constantly and prevents you from being able to customise the cleaning to suit you.

I haven’t used to option to map a 2nd floor as I live in a flat but it seems clear on the settings on how to do this -under advanced mode, you map first floor, this will be saved then you add second floor and leave the robot to vacuum and map that floor and save it separately.

    Amazing on medium pile carpe

Golden Review Award: 102 From Our UsersThis was our second robot vacuum – the first one was a more basic model and just randomly wandered around and got lost. This one has proper mapping capability so it can map a complex floor area and break it down into sections. Its seem very efficient in how it covers the floor and does a good job at picking rubbish up. The floor mopping is OK – it is not as good as a proper hand held mop but does a pretty job job for a mid week clean. the auto detection of carpet is OK but we have found better to install the mop attachment to clean the hard floor area and then remove it for carpet. Can also do upstairs and saves the map as a different area. Dust storage is not massive but adequate. Overall a good product that does what it is marketed at.

Golden Review Award: 148 From Our UsersIt took a bit of time setting Dave the robot up and it took a couple of attempts to save the map but now it’s done, my floors are just amazing. After tea I just sweep the crumbs on to the floor like a heathen and then get the kids to bed, whilst I do that, Dave comes to life and does the dining room floor so that when I come downstairs, the cheerios have gone, the mini cheddar half chewed by the toddler has been dispatched to be emptied into the bin every few days with the click of a button. You’d never know we had 3 messy kids. He is scheduled to do early morning cleans so the downstairs looks so clean when we get up and that also is an incentive to keep tidy too. The mopping has only been done once – he needs a bit of help getting off the carpet with the mop head otherwise flounders around, the floor did get a bit streaky too. I can see this being useful come winter when the muddy footprints arrive.
All in all. Dave makes such a difference to keeping downstairs clean. If you’re unsure, just do it. I am so impressed at how good a hoover this is.

Golden Review Award: 71 From Our UsersWe were skeptical about a robot vacuum cleaner but decided to give this a try. We are glad that we did!

The Deebot does a great job. It buzzes around cleaning the floor, intelligently avoiding obstacles. The app allows you to set it going at whatever time suits you. If it gets stuck (rarely) the app will alert you. In the main room it returns to the dock automatically. In any other room, just put it down and press the button.

You do need to avoid things like charger wires or frills from throws or curtains getting in the way as it will get tangled up, but you soon learn to lift them off the floor.

Overall a great little machine and excellent value too.

Very good device. User friendly. Cleans as expected
Pros: good suction power. Very easy to clean and maintain. Very efficient and battery is superb. Algorithm to identify where it is and how to clean efficiently is awesome

Cons: Mopping function is just plain fancy. You cant expect much from such device to be honest as mopping requires a hard hand to get rid of some stains. Moreover, map creation requires attention and it cant complete a map until it cleans all the area and returns to the charging dock.

A superb machine that will save a lot of time for you to enjoy

Golden Review Award: 58 From Our UsersThe robot has mapped out my house perfectly both upstairs and downstairs, I can carry it upstairs and as soon as it turns on it figures out where I’ve moved it to and will switch the active map if that’s on a different floor.

I’ve told the robot which room to start with and set different power levels in each room depending on how much foot traffic they get. It will even do specific rooms if you need it to.

    Overall really happy with this.

I’ve named this robot Alice. Alice has changed my life. I’m disabled and can’t vacuum myself, and have 3 cats. The cat hair and litter is the bane of my life, and if I don’t get someone to vacuum every day, the cat litter gets everywhere. I suspect it is sentient. No one wants to wake up and find some stuck to your pillow- gross.

When my ex moved out I was a bit stuck. I couldn’t afford to pay someone to vacuum every day, but couldn’t live with the cat litter. Then Alice came into my life and changed it for the good.

She does a pretty good job at communicating with me about work. Sometimes I’ll leave things in her way and she’ll let me know if she gets stuck and needs help. She isn’t a great conversationalist in other ways, although she is a good listener. She listened to me complain about my selfish ex incessantly, but didn’t give me unsolicited advice.

She isn’t quite as thorough as a manual clean, but she keeps the cat litter at a bearable level and I pay a human cleaner every couple of weeks to do a deep vacuum for those spots Alice can’t get, like under furniture.

Alice’s mop function is about on par with other multi function cleaning robots – it could be better. If the floor is mostly clean and you just want to coat it in disinfectant, she is great. But if it is sticky/muddy/dirty, you would need a more specialist cleaning robot. Most reviews of similar robots say the same.

She is great at adjusting for the surface – I have laminate floors with a rug in my lounge and she increases her suction automatically on the rug area. A good amount of suction on my rug is important. A great replacement for the ex.

Partner was sceptical, but now loves it and considering another for the upstairs.

Initial map creation was a bit challenging as it would get confused lidar mapping under the sofa and create and get lost resulting in a confused map being created and it never finishing its first clean.

Solved that problem with the virtual boundary feature by adding boundaries as it created the first map, bit of an annoyance but since then no issues at all. I even relocated the dock and made a new map with this process and it was flawless.

It handles the height transitions between parts of the house and climbs up on rugs and doormats with ease.

General use is great, the different scheduling options work really well and it’s a 2 minute job to empty the bin every few days.

Mopping isn’t great, more suited as a finisher for vacuuming than for really deep cleaning the floor but it’s ok for a maintenance wipe.

Had this a few months now and it works great, set a daily schedule with your room cleared and keep on top of daily crumbs, dust and hair.

Great when you’ve been out, come back in and your kitchen no longer has rice, garlic skins and bits of rubbish kicking around!

Obviously you still need an upright Hoover to do a deep clean but for daily maintenance we have noticed a huge difference.

Golden Review Award: 81 From Our UsersI really like that this maps out whilst cleaning, and the fact you can divide the map into named areas and say things like “Alexa, ask Deebot to clean the kitchen”. Virtual boundaries are good and work well.
My only 2 gripes are the mopping, which basically just drags a wet pad over the floor and doesn’t actively clean, unlike my Brava Jet robot and the App, which could be more intuitive.
The suction on the hoover though is great, and it does a really good job of cleaning and switching from hard surfaces to medium pile carpet with no issues. Obstacle avoidance is pretty good, but make sure you haven’t left any training wires as this can (and will) snag the side brushes.
For any home automation geeks, I have this integrated into Homeassistant and it works well 🙂

Golden Review Award: 98 From Our UsersWhy have I not bought this before?!

Didn’t expect much more than a gimic or a way to delay how often I need to vacuum (by hand). I thought this would by no way be as effective as the modern dyson we have – I was wrong!

This comes with the direct suction attachment, and the vacuum roller, so it copes brilliantly with our dog and rugs.
And the fact it mops too…wow!
There are so many ways to use it too: Set up the phone app, press the one touch button, or link to smart home (Alexa or Google). The app is simple and easy to use, and will easily allow you to set and change lots of the parameters: The power of the vacuum; the amount of water when mopping; the volume of its voice… and lots of other options. You can even share the robot on different users of the (free) app, so it can be accessed by multiple people.
You can change the robots name in the app, so now it is “Me” that has done all the vacuuming and mopping.
With the water reservoir and mop attached it will sense and avoid your carpets, vacuum and mop everywhere it can access. It will easily navigate door thresholds (anything up to about an inch step), and will return to charge once it has finished.
With the mop and reservoir removed (one click button), it will Vacuum everywhere, automatically sensing carpets and increasing the suction. It states it is not suitable with long pile carpets/rugs, but we have an IKEA shaggy rug and it has never got stuck on it, and vacuums it well.
The dust bin on it copes with the whole house (even all the dog hair), and when it has finished vacuuming (with or without the mop) it will automatically return to the charger and self charge. It will also remind you to remove the mop attachment, so you don’t damage the floor where it charges by leaving a wet mop standing.

The box included a flier advertising additives you can add to the water to clean, but after searching everywhere these are not available in the UK. Whilst it would potentially be possible to add floor cleaner to the water, this will void your warranty (and at 2 years warranty it isn’t worth it). The mop comes with removable mop pads (one washable and a few disposable). We get around the additive by adding some cleaner to the pre-soaked mop pad, and/or spraying any areas that have had spills/stains.

The battery life is incredible. Even having done the whole of downstairs vacuuming on full power and then setting it off to vac and mop twice the battery is still well over 50%. There is even the settings to pick up where it left off if it runs out of charge midway through.
The robot will automatically scan and map every room and the app allows you to save two maps and set room names and mark any areas to not mop/vacuum. This allows you to then set the robot to clean only the selected areas, or tell it to vacuum and mop with different water levels and suction in different areas, even allowing you to clean selected rooms twice (for high use rooms).
Whilst you can only save two maps, it doesn’t stop you using it on other floors too, with the quick start option – where it will still sense carpets and allow you to change the mop/vaccum settings (for the whole floor).
Once you have mapped the floor, you will not even need to move the charger between levels, as it will just go into standby when it has finished. No need to worry about stairs or steps either, as the sensors will tell it where the drops are, so it can back up and continue cleaning without diving down the stairs.

The app also tells you the % life left before you need to replace some of the disposable parts – it comes with a spare set of bushes, and a spare (both washable) filter.

So now all I have left to vacuum are the tight spaces between some of the furniture (and walls) where the robot can’t access, and the stairs.
What more do you need? Now all you will need to do is make sure the kids have tidied their toys off the floor, and move the dining chairs so it doesn’t get stuck under the table.

Now if someone can just ask ecovacs to combine this (ideally a smaller version) with a programmable drone, then I won’t have to do the dusting either.

Have been using it for a month now and the cleaning is pretty good. The tracking is mostly accurate as well and does surprisingly well at reaching hard to get areas. The mop also did well enough. The app also has some nice features. The only issue was that it loses its location sometimes, and then the saved map is totally erased. Then you have to get it to do a full clean of house to get the map again.

Still, it does well enough to be recommended.

Golden Review Award: 28 From Our UsersOrdered this on prime day. Arrived on time and we’ll packaged. I was skeptical at first about it cleaning the think carpet. I thought, let’s give it a go. I was thoroughly impressed by how clean the carpet was after it finished .
It took a while to create the map of the house. Got stuck in someplaces more than once while mapping the floor. Once it did map the ground and first floor it was super easy to get the desired areas cleaned. Can schedule the cleaning the process whcih is a bonus.
A week ago, I tried to use the mopper but it wasn’t that great. Smudges on the floors were not cleaned properly. Guess mopping has to be done manually.
Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a good sweeper.

We were initially very sceptical in purchasing a robotic vacuum as not really sure whether it is worth making that investment. However, a month down the line since it was delivered, we can’t be more pleased with the product. Works beautifully and goes around minding its own business. Cleans and mops well. Operating it is easy with a touch of a button or thru the app. Cleaning the unit is straightforward and doesn’t require ‘experts’. However, one thing that I found was a bummer is that if it has the water tank mounted for mopping, it has difficulties going over door bars or thresholds. Without it, don’t see much of a problem. By and large, a good product and if you are thinking about it, go for it.

Golden Review Award: 84 From Our UsersThis robot cleaner is the best! after purchasing an alternate robot vacuum last winter and sending it back due to lack of performance and difficulty transitioning between carpet and hard flooring, I was somewhat hesitant to purchase another one, but decided to take advantage of the Prime Day sale. I have had the robot for one month now and am really delighted with it.

This robot vacuum and mop has no problem with carpet transitions, the suction power is excellent – we have named her Ozma.

The App is great, allowing me to map the apartment and managing the map (merge, split and name rooms) is simple and intuitive, and setting virtual boundaries works extremely well (no magnetic strip like you get with some cheaper models). I can set a timer for when to clean, as well as a targeted clean area or select room cleaning. I can control this away from home and get notifications to my phone.

My floor is now spotless and crumb free – no more irritating little bits that get stuck to your feet and traipsed around.

The mopping function works well as you can see from the picture.

I would advise watching some YouTube videos on how to remove the cleaning plate (it’s super simple when you know how), as well as tips for first mapping run.

In the first two weeks Ozma lost the maps on two occasions (it’s been cleaning everyday for a month), but simply pausing it and replacing it on the dock restores the map (I wish I knew this the first time the map was lost).

The battery gets down to 10% on a double clean of my 2 bed apartment – but I rarely set Ozma on a double clean cycle as she cleans well on one cycle. She can vacuum and mop the apartment on one full charge (two of the rooms are carpeted).

    Ozma - the greatest cleane

Golden Review Award: 101 From Our UsersThis was an upgrade from the ecovac 970s as I needed a vacuum that could map the house and clean in areas the other one couldn’t. Having had a previous ecovac I was happy to get another one, this hoover was easy to get on with and once I’d sorted out automode which you need to do for a first time clean on the app my house was mapped.

Having a mapped house really speeds up the clean and the hoover cleans the carpet in the same pattern someone might cut their lawn. The suction power is good and the hoover increases or decreases power based on surface. I haven’t tried the mop feature as the hoover needs to be on a hard floor due to the fact it reverses out of the dock – mines on carpet so couldn’t reverse.

Battery life wise is good but should it need additional cleaning time it knows where it hasn’t been so recharges and goes back out but my hoover takes 40mins to clean and to be honest does a better job them me.

One thing I will say is this hoover is relentless, if something is in the way it’ll most likely drive straight over it so make sure you don’t leave anything valuble down.

It is very good at recognising your living space with its laser component and the virtual boundaries on the app work really well. However don’t think of it as your saving grace to no longer pick up your hoover at the weekends, but more as a quick tool to tidy up each day once the kids have gone to bed. It just means once all the toys have been picked up, I can relax on the sofa whilst it cleans.
Although it has a silent mode, I would only use that for the mopping function. It can be a little loud, so don’t use it too late if you have neighbours. Overall with the discounts you can get on it (if you are a savvy shopper), I feel it is good value for what it can do.

Golden Review Award: 29 From Our UsersI always wanted a robot hoover so I researched the market for a while and was tempted to buy a well known US brand but I was finally convinced by this Ozmo thingy.
I didn’t have high expectations and was well aware of robot vacuum/mopping limitations so I bought it mostly as a smart gadget treat.
Wow! The damn thing really works!… Yes it has its moments, it hates black rugs and the mop is a pain to remove. I ended up not using the moping feature as I can’t be bothered… Not that it does a great job anyway.
My first impression was: “This thing is not as stupid as it looks” the mapping is great, it does “learn” to avoid obstacles and it keeps the house clean from dust, hairs, cat pubes, fluff and miscellaneous debris.
It’s great to tell Google to send the Ozmo to hoover the kitchen after cooking or to sort the living room after a Greggs feeding session.
Very impressive little gadget that actually works and much much better than expected. The house has never looked so clean and tidy on a daily basis.
It did force us to be tidier with cables, shoes and clutter so the ozmo won’t tangle itself which rarely happens. It copes well on laminate, carpet and tiles. It so-so manages rugs.
In any case we are considering a second unit… One for each floor… Yes, too lazy to even carry the thing around. Wish it could iron clothes 🙁

Golden Review Award: 148 From Our UsersAbsolutely love this vacuum.
    – set up was so easy, only thing had to really do was split out our WiFi so it could connect to 2.4ghz. Once that was done easy to connect through app and to alexa
    – performance is great, good suction power even on thicker pile carpet. Mopping function is brilliant too, we do spray our hardware with eco cleaner first to help as sometimes just water isn’t enough.
    – mapping function is brilliant, once its done the first run of the floor it’s all set and creating boundaries, naming rooms etc. is super simple. Definitely worth paying the extra for mapping as we originally bought the deebot without mapping and it just constantly got stuck in circles in a corner so we sent it back and opted for this.

It obviously doesn’t replace a full deep clean which is still needed but for everyday cleaning and keeping the house cat and wife hair free and picking up all the dust and dirt it’s just brilliant. We have a couple of schedules where it cleans a full floor one day, mops the hardwood floor later in the week, does the office at the weekend etc.

Only negatives I would point out is that when I move it to the second floor it has a habit of losing the map it’s got saved for it which can be a bit annoying buy relatively simple to fix once it gets its location right.

Golden Review Award: 90 From Our UsersThis is a great product. My first Robot Vacuum & I appear to have made a good choice with this make/model. I haven’t tried the Mopping feature yet but if it is as good as the vacuuming, I’ll be very happy. No warranty card in the box so I need to contact the helpline to check how I register for the 2 Yr warranty (the reason I chose this particular Robot vacuum over other makes/models).
