Mine arrived with a 12m cable pre-installed whereas the illustrations show a plug connector just below the handlebar. I couldn’t find any mention of the cable in the description.
The scarifier blades were also pre-installed and the machine was soon assembled ready for use. My lawns of about 180 sq.mt are in reasonable condition with no more moss than one would expect at the beginning of the season. The scarifier was easy to use and so efficient that the box had to be emptied every 5 to 6 metres. I haven’t tried the aerator tines yet but they, too, look to be very efficient.
The machine is sturdy, well made and I could not be more pleased with the purchase.
Great product and does exactly what it is designed to do (less the utility of the basket). My advice is to start scarifying on the highest setting and adjust downwards (closer to surface) as required.

So, as many other reviewers have said, I did the whole job without the bag attached. The amount of debris I ended up with was staggering for such a small lawn. It filled a huge canvas bag to the point where I could barely lift it. And that was on the lowest setting. So overall a great success but hard work nonetheless.
I suspect, though I haven’t tried yet. that it might be better to reverse the handles, remove the collection bag, prop open the flap and use the machine pulling it backwards down the lawn, thereby leaving all the debris in a neat line behind it to rake or mow up afterwards. Great care would be needed to avoid going over the power cable though.
I have four large lawns. I have a gardener who mows them for me. But, as per most gardeners they only do a quick job. Over the years my lawns have become chocked with moss and other rubbish.
I saw this machine and the good reviews and decided it was time to sort out my lawns and get them into good order.
The machine arrived, heavier than I thought it would be, but it was easy to put together.
The collection bag works well although at the moment it fills rather rapidly.
The weight is actually an advantage when in use and is not noticeable as the machine pulls itself along.
Money well spent.

Does a good job but I feel it’s not great at the edges and it can leave you with no grass if your not careful. But it did a great job lifting all the moss
I never imagined how many death grass I had in my garden!!! I have around 70sqm of grass and it fill a full bin only with death grass. My grass is 5 yes old so it is considered young but full of debris.
ONLY ISSUE. You can not stop otherwise the crop falls between the collection bag and rollers
Great product for the price, this scarified my lawn which had many bricks/stones underneath the turf on the lowest setting, removed lots of dead grass and moss, very happy.
It seemed to me that it was not worhwhile buying something I would use only once or twice a year, but it has made a huge difference to our lawn. And it is easy to assemble and fold down after use for easy storage.

The manual is slightly confusing about which roller is the scarifier and which the raker /aerator. The tool with blades is the scarifier – the one with thin tines appears to be the power raker.
Works a treat. This is a replacement for my heavy petrol mower that has seen better days. So far so good after 6 months. Two batteries easily cover my average size garden with plenty to spare. Doesn’t seem quite as powerful at picking up the grass but still adequate if the grass is short. My only complaint is the silly plastic bits at the sides that stick forward near the front wheels, they snag against edges, very annoying but overall a great purchase.

I’m no gardener or landscaper but having moved to a new property with a larger garden…I had to start new projects and learn how to improve things for myself and my family. Moss was a big issue with the lawn and a scarifier was on the list. Having read numerous reviews I settled on the Chinese made Einhall (german) scarifier and rake. Putting it together was very simple (20 mins) and then being quite lightweight I carried it with the simple handle on top to the worst affected areas of the lawn – plugged in the extension lead to my plug and got to work. The attached photo is my halfway point and it took a fair amount of raking to pile this lot up. With some new grass seeding and water, this area is already looking revitalized. It is by far one of my best purchases on Amazon.

*Montato lame arieggiatore ( NON scarificatore, contenute nella confezione ) la differenza tra uno e l’altra e che arieggiamo solo se dobbiamo togliere muschio e far respirare il prato nuovo dopo inverno, scarificare pi una sorta di motozappa ma per lavori pi invasivi; che vi sconsiglio specie se avete alberi vicini, specie da radici superficiali. Quindi andate con la semplice arieggiatura.
Successivamente il sacco in dotazione pi scenico che utile, dovrete munirsi di rastrello x giardino e raccogliere il muschio. Di conseguenza ho passato nuovamente tagliaerba con posizione 20mm x rimuovere ci che non sono riuscito a tirare con il rastrello. Risultato veramente gradito. Ancora una volta Grazie Einhell.
Ho aspettato a recensirlo volendo prima utilizzarlo. Conosco bene la marca avendo acquistato con soddisfazione altri prodotti. Di questo sono rimasta lievemente delusa non della solidit (nessuna delle rotture scritte da altri o di debolezze di montaggio) ma dell’uso. Le ruote dovrebbero regolare l’altezza del suo uso e dovrebbero essere messe entrambe alla stessa altezza. Peccato che non siano asimmetriche per cui da una ruota ho 3 nell’altra ho 1 e viceversa. Per capire se sono asimmetriche devi alzare la macchina per capire se l’asta lineare. Bastava una semplice leva come nei rasaerba per rendere tutto meno complicato.
Migliorabile visto anche il costo.
Quel pezzo di terra che vedete in foto era una piccola porzione del mio prato completamente ricoperto da muschio.
Il prodotto fa egregiamente il suo lavoro, io inizialmente ho utilizzato il cestello, ma vista la quantit di muschio e feltro presenti sul terreno ho deciso di toglierlo e raccogliere successivamente manualmente.
Assolutamente consigliato per chi ha un prato e vuole tenerlo in ordine e pulito.

Sorprendido, no pens que fuera a tener tanta fuerza. Viene con dos rodillos, como te descuides con las cuchillas te come todo el csped. Yo creo que para usarlo da veces al Ao ms que suficiente
En pocos minutos tienes el csped aireado sin esfuerzo. Es cierto que el recipiente que recoge la hierba seca es pequeo pero, en general, las prestaciones de esta mquina son muy buenas.
After some months of research, the recent Einhell special offer on Amazon resolved the decision. The 2 in 1 Aerator/Scarifier arrived very promptly, was easy to assemble, and was easy to make the change between the scarifier and aerator rollers. The only minor gripe is that the folding of the push bar is a bit of a faff, and not quite as elegant as the illustrations make out. I have carried out one aeration, to make sure the machine works ok. Hopefully springtime will show the benefits on our small lawn.
Vena de uno, ya sabis, prestado por el cuado, y ya me tocaba comprar uno. Con ms de 100m2 no puedes hacerlo a mano y el csped te lo va a agradecer siempre.
Est muy bien, fcil de montar y con el doble eje para airear y para escarificar (actualizar la resea pues de momento he usado 2 veces el de escarificar, en primavera/verano airear un poco a ver).
Y muy bien hace su funcin perfectamente.
Lo que no va nada bien y por eso tiene 4 estrellas es el cesto. Es muy muy pequeo, y la verdad, al final acabas quitndolo y, como antao, una vez pases el escarificador, pasar despus el corta csped para “recoger” la hierba que ha arrancado. Si no fuera por esto, le daba 5 estrellas, pero es que no puedes estar cada 10 metros recogiendo el cesto continuamente.

I have previously used a scarifier without wheels but this is so easy to use. The handle could be made more adjustable as I am less than 5ft tall but it is manageable. The depth of the cut can be adjusted and on the whole I am very pleased with it.

Bought this to replace my old branded one that had failed due to using plastic as a bearing on one size of the device (wore away until rake was no longer held in place and drive band slipped). This seems much better built, more study, and more metal parts where they are needed. It’s also heavier but that helps when using it at it sits where you need it to much better. The machine seems to have plenty of power and made easy work of my lawns, I’d say average medium detached house size. Plenty of cable and easy to fold fairly compactly for storage (it’s at the back of my shed) as you’ll not be using it too many times each year – I know you should but who does.

Un valido ausilio per muovere il terreno, grattare via il muschio, ma non pensiate lo faccia con un passaggio. Richiede lavoro, ma maneggevole, facile da assemblare. Un acquisto da valutare se il muschio infesta il vostro terreno, terreno che bene sia di dimensioni contenute.
Wir sind sehr zufrieden. Die Lieferung kam schneller als erwartet. Der Zusammenbau war sehr einfach und schnell. Bisher haben wir nur den Lfter benutzt und das Resultat war mehr als super. Zur Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen, da wir ihn noch nicht lange haben. Er macht aber einen sehr stabilen und wertigen Eindruck.
The blades are good for breaking up the top of the soil for over seeding. The bag fills up quickly, I found it better to use without the bag then pick up the moss with my mower.
Does the job but height adjustment is crude. On the day of purchase I only compared this with a Bosch on Amazon, but decided on this Einhell based on lower price (Bosch was 115 on the day), this Einhell as more powerful motor, and smaller bulk so as to take up less space inside the shed. Height adjustment is crude and each front wheel has to be adjusted seperately. It is also difficult to tell what setting it is unless you watch it rise and lowers as you adjust it. This is why I only scored it 4 stars. Had I waited a week or two before purchase, I would have found one or two more models of similar size. Although these cost 10 to 15 more, the height adjustment by one single lever would have made them worthwhile.
So far only used it once, on the least setting so as not to rip up evety blade of grass. As it is anticipated to be used only once a year rather than for comercial use, reckon it fair price to pay for poor height adjustment. I would exchange it for better design if front and back lawns have various levels to scarify.
This item arrived sooner than stated, great. I’ve had an old one (different make) for years, and it was gradually falling to bits.
This is great. It’s light in weight, it has a proper box instead of a basket, and works so much better.
Buon prodotto di facile utilizzo. Sono rimasto sorpreso da quanto materiale riesce a rimuovere dal terreno. E’ un attrezzo indispensabile per chi vuole rigenerare il proprio giardino. La sola pecca il cestello raccogli erba, troppo piccolo. Nemmeno il tempo di percorrere una decina di metri che subito pieno. Per questo motivo non mi sento di dare 5 stelle. Consegna amazon impeccabile come il solito. Buona giornata.
Not all the screws fitted so it took a bit of time and effort to assemble.
It has, however, made quite a difference to our grass, churning up a huge amount of moss and weeds. The bucket does not hold much and needed very frequent emptying.
Other than that – very effective.
Lovely little machine. Brilliant at its job despite the confusion about which attachment scarified and which aerated.
I have only given 4 stars as I, like other reviewers, found the collection basket far to small for this very efficient, lightweight machine. Great buy!

My new lawn just moved house was all moss no grass.i bought this scarifier not noing what to expect I’m a novice gardener used it 5 times in one day lawn was that bad and its brilliant and I have a large lawn.only downside is the basket fills up within seconds I just ended up taking it off and raked the moss up simple to use to lm very happy so far just need to do the front lawn now
Not bad but construction is plastic so not sure how long it will last but as it will be used only twice a year it should be ok. Arrive it’s screws missing which attaches the handle to main body so had to look in my DIY boxes for some that fitted. Takes a bit of getting used to but am sure it will be ok.
It was easy to assemble & I use the lawn raker first. Wonderful. I never realised I had so much moss in my lawn. Great value for money.
Some previous reviews a bit mis-leading. Product arrived with lead and UK plug fitted, maybe some comments relate to older products? Assembly was straightforward and took less than 15 minutes. Used as both scarifier and aerator, both satisfactory but collection box needs frequent emptying but really not an issue for me, lawn area approx 30m square and took less than 20 minutes in both modes to complete.

I have used this on my medium sized lawn, and have found it easy to use and does the job excellently.
It is easy to swap between the scarify and aerate blades, just a couple of screws to change the blades.
I have only used it on the highest setting and have found that perfect to get thatch and dead grass from the lawn. Any lower at this time of year and I think you would run the risk of churning the grass up too much. I bought this as I already have an Einhell petrol mower which has been very good for a number of years.
I like the two blade option and the fact that i can purchase replacement blades.
My lawns were full of moss and ragwort. After using this lovely machine my lawns looked like ploughed fields, it got rid of all the rubbish but as others have said the collection bag is small and filled far too quickly. Unfortunately I couldn’t turn the key to change from cutters to tines but that’s due to arthritic hands I think.
I’ve re-seeded all the bare patches (of which there were many) and now the lawns are beginning to recover a month after scarifying. I recommend this machine as it is light weight and very effective.
The solid knives do a very good job of removing thatch and moss; I imagine the spring tangs would be good for regular upkeep. The collector box is far too small but I just leave it off and rake up the thatch and moss afterwards. It is good that the material is thrown back, though still contained under the skirt, so that the machine doesn’t have to push through it. Other scarifiers I have used have thrown the waste forward or ejected it at speed backwards, necessitating a good pair of wellies!
Fa il suo lavoro ma bisogna passare 2 o 3 volte per riuscire a togliere bene il feltro dell’erba
Prodotto consegnato nei tempi e nella confezione perfettamente sigillata.
Il montaggio molto semplice, ho sostituito lo scarificatore che era gi montato con l’accessorio con gli aghi che si utilizza per arieggiare.
Comoda la regolazione esterna dell’altezza da terra e molto pratico e veloce il sistema di estrazione del cesto raccoglitore anche se si riempie molto presto perch non molto capiente.
Ottimo acquisto, ora il prato si sta riprendendo molto bene :-).
First time I’ve used a scarifier and it’s done a really good job. Easy to use and change the blade over to the aerator. When using it in scarifier mode I found it was easier not to use the box as it filled up too quickly so I just tied up the box cover and ran over with the mower afterwards – may be I had too much moss and other stuff growing there!
L’arieggiatore fa il suo lavoro. inoltre leggero e maneggevole , io ho un giardino non proprio piccolino . Si monta facilmente. Pu sembrare fragile, ma se hai un giardino regolare, funziona ottimamente. Testato a tutti i livelli di altezza entrambi i rulli cambiabili con la chiave in dotazione. Il cestello sembra piccolo, ma per il lavoro da fare va bene. Un buon rapporto qualit prezzo . Consegna impeccabile anche prima del previsto . Lo consiglio . *****

Fr die Gre unserer Rasenflche (ca. 120 m) absolut ausreichend, Hhenverstellung ausreichend, der Walzenwechsel problemlos. Er lsst sich auch nach dem Gebrauch gut reinigen. Was allerdings ein Witz ist, das ist der mitgelieferte Fangkorb (besser Fangkrbchen), der ist kaum grer wie ein Einkaufskorb. Und warum ich einen weiteren mit einer Extralieferung erhalten habe, ist und bleibt mir ein Rtsel. Dennoch, weil er seine Arbeit macht – ohne eingehngten Korb – wie ich es erwarte, vergebe ich 5 Sterne.
Gratamente sorprendido por su manejo y fuerza. El resultado es mejor de lo esperado. Para un jardn de 500m2 va perfecto. Creo que incluso para ms superficie es una mquina perfectamente apta. Recomendada 100%

Ce produit mrite un achat – pas cher –
* Installer le guidon , ( Photo 1 ) Pour le brancard , l’alsage ( le trou) pour la vis est trop petit , donc necessit de l’agrandir , attention : si vous percez au diametre de la vis cela ne tiendra plus , il faut juste largir le dbut du trou. les vis sont de mauvaise qualit le croisillon ne rsistera pas aux drapages , bref , il faut ” du savoir faire ” .
*Pour changer les lames , ( photo 2)il faut tirer , comme indiqu sur la notice ( allemande) c’est tellement dur que l’on croit casser le materiel , l aussi ,il faut du ” savoir faire ”
*Panier , ( photo 3) le principe est trange …voir comment rabattre le haut , j’ai mis 10 Mn a comprendre , le rsultat est imparfait mais valable .
* Rglage de hauteur des roues original , par crans rotatifs !
* Usage : tres efficace le cylindre rotatif a aiguilles a ressors parfait , rgl sur 2 , il faut vider le panier souvent : normal.
Conseils personnels : Je fais 100 M2 a la fois , apres , cela n’est plus supportable .
Le systeme d’entrainement est a courroie , donc ne pas stocker a l’humidit car le galet rcepteur s’oxydra et la courroie se dtendra , usage peu frquent . Savez vous que pour viter que l’ herbe colle sur le carter on pulvrise du silicone avant usage ?
= Va bien pour de la pelouse normale rase , je n’ai pas test le scarificateur .Satisfait pour le prix , la socit est allemande , la fabrication chinoise , sauf erreur et je retire pour eviter la diffamation , alors dans ce cas les produits allemands perdraient leur rputation !
Hasta ahora, yo haca el escarificado a mano, nada que ver, he estado haciendo el tonto y doblando el lomo como un burro, para nada. Si no tienes uno, ya ests tardando, no lo dudes
No entiendo los que necesitan las instrucciones en espaol, no hay nada que montar, slo meter el mango en la base, no es justo quitar estrellas por esto, hay que valorar el producto en si, para ayudar a los futuros compradores, que pueden comprar otro peor slo porque tenga las instrucciones en color, cosa que es indiferente en este caso. El tema de la bolsa, es obvio, si das mucha profundidad al escarificador, claro que se llena la bolsa, pero aunque pongas una carretilla detrs, hay que ser consecuente, (en mi caso, 70m2), vas a sacar varias bolsas grandes de deshecho.
El nico “pero ” mas importante para m, es que el sistema de ajuste de profundidad es independiente en cada rueda y algo “confuso ”
Por lo demas, acabo de estrenarlo en 70m2 y lo nico que siento es no haberlo comprado antes, vale cada pagado, me ahorra horas de esfuerzo y sudor . Muy contento, calidad /precio: excelente.

Era da tempo che cercavo uno scarificatore arieggiatore per il mio prato che voglio mantenere al meglio allo stile inglese.
Ho girato molti garden e negozi brico, eppure non ero mai sicuro al 100 per cento.
Alla fine ho trovato questo prodotto che dalle descrizioni e recensioni mi sembrava completo.
Da tempo compro prodotti ehinell e mi sono trovato sempre bene.
E questo acquisto non mi ha deluso affatto.
Anzi.. devo proprio dire che un acquisto che rifarei anche oggi stesso. Perch?? un attrezzo leggerissimo e comodissimo da usare, soprattutto con l’utilizzo delle spazzoline per il pezzo del mio prato messo ancora bene e poi degli uncini per i pezzi con muschio o erbe infestanti da distruggere il pi possibile.
Il mio prato, dopo la rigenera con questo attrezzo, rinato.
E, visto il risultato, anche i miei amici hanno voluto giovare di questo arieggiatore per migliorare i loro prati con ottimissimi risultati.
Buon prodotto, fa il suo lavoro, ma il sacco di raccolta troppo piccolo e rallenta troppo il lavoro, devi fermarti troppo spesso per svuotarlo, ho preferito non utilizzarlo e poi recuperare il feltro con un rastrello
En jardin de unos 60m2 de csped, grama resistente, excelente ejecucin, no poda imaginar que hubiese tanta broza seca y pasto debajo.
