I’m a beginner & never done skateboarding before so I can’t compare to other skateboards. I got it as an alternative to commuter kick scooters that takes up so much space. I knew it was an investment in terms of practice time but it’s still frustrating to feel that my progress is slow and I can’t ride it right away. I’ve practiced for an hour for two days and I finally starting to get a hang of it. Overall the build feels sturdy and stable and I now can comfortably ride very slow for a very short distance. Hopefully in time I’ll be able to use it for quick errands and such.
My son got this as a gift for Christmas and so far has loved learning to ride on it. He’s never tried a different skateboard but has felt successful learning on this board. It looks and feels like it’s built to last and I imagine we’ll be using it for many years to come. He struggles a bit trying to figure out how to turn but I think that’s also due to the fact that this is his first skateboard experience.

Genialissime! J’adore la glisse et j’tais plus que septique sur la fonctionnalit et le produit en gnrale. Une fois les trucks desserrs fond, du caviar! J’ai un carver super snapper donc incomparable en terme de pompage et pourtant, carrment envisageable et efficace avec cette board en forme d’uf, par contre, oubliez les descentes, la planche roule ULTRA bien, objet parfait pour dplacement quotidien, je recommande vivement!
Good solid board but it’s a bit stiff, doesn’t make sharp turns unless you loosen the bolts it seem. It doesn’t come with the tool. My bf and I tried to ride it, I love that it’s small and portable and can travel with it easily but my bf says it needs to be loosened because it doesn’t turn. The wheels are very slippery, make sure to wear protective pads before riding otherwise when you fall it’ll hurt. I don’t think it’s a good beginner board it’s more for an intermediate rider who already knows how to balance on a board and ride.
I finally took the plunge and bought this board once it went on sale. It had been on my wish list for a couple of years. I love that it’s great for beginners that have zero experience with skateboarding. It feels pretty stable, and I get a little bit better and more confident every time I take it out. I highly recommend wearing all the protective gear, and just practicing on a basketball court or empty parking lot. I found it highly useful and helpful to watch the Elos tutorials, as well as YouTube tutorials for the absolute beginner. My elbow pads, knee pads and wrist guards just came in today, and I can’t wait to take it out to the basketball courts or parking lots. I can tell I will need lots of practice before I can go cruising around town. I will keep the trucks tight for now, until I improve. The benefit of practicing in a basketball court is that it forces you to work on turns, and provides a smooth surface. I am a female in her early 40s that enjoys working out. I lift weights and love the outdoors. I paddle board too. My friend that is in his early 60s, bought one too, on Prime Day for $129.99. He kept using mine, and said it’s a lot more fun than he thought it would be. We both agreed it’s the first skateboard we stood on that doesn’t feel like we’re going to fall and crack our heads open. We find it addicting, and so fun! I thought my friend would have been zooming right away on this board as he is a surfer. Surprisingly he’s having to practice and watch the tutorials as well. He’s not as balanced as I thought he would be, for a surfer. Please do yourself a favor, and treat yourself to this board. We all deserve some fun and excitement in our lives, especially after going through Covid. Be patient, and Make sure you practice, practice, practice. I posted this video is after taking it out a few times. My first few experiences with this board, was just getting used to standing on it, and getting used to proper footing.

The wheels are noticeably smaller than an actual longboard’s, making a longboard a much smoother and more balanced ride. If you’re a beginner or have bad balance, go for the longboard.
Rolling around on asphalt, the elos felt the bumps on the ground when a longboard didn’t.
That said, it makes its way over pretty large obstacles like rocks or twigs on the road that should scare you if you were riding on a skateboard or pennyboard.
I originally gave it a perfect rating but then I realized that this board needed an adjustment to work properly, there’s stickers that advice to turn the bolt for easy turning. Well I don’t have a tool for that so I spent $10 on the Elos skate tool. Then browsing amazon, I see that they’re selling some of these boards paired with the tool if you look on amazon closely. So why did I just have to blow an extra $10 to get this to function properly? The price of the board alone is already way, way higher than any other egg type board.

I got this board because it was unique, and when it arrived I was impressed by the quality. Almost all of the sub $200. Boards suffer from bad grip tape, cheep wheels and trucks, and even warped boards! This board on the other hand was to simply say “beautiful”. And did I mention it comes with its own backpack.

I would totally give this 5 stars, except that it really looked like mine is used (but it isn’t). Scuffed on the front and side. Not worth sending it back, since I am sure it will be scuffed soon anyhow, but I can’t give a five star review for that either. I wouldn’t have left any review because I feel like a 4 star review is harmful and I think this is a really great company with a great idea and great product that meets a real need, but if I leave a review there’s a sticker saying I will get a free adjustment tool. So I guess that shows their integrity – they are willing to air their dirty laundry in public to be sure they really get feedback!
I looked at the Elos when I was thinking about learning to longboard (at age 44!). I love the portability and wide platform and my feet fit on it better than I thought they would! But I actually didn’t buy before learning to ride on another skateboard. I got a Boarder Kontrol skateboard because it had a for-real brake. Sounds strange, but I am committed to keeping my bones as much as possible the way they were before I started this hobby. Now that I don’t totally suck at riding it, I can go without the brake, but I needed something smaller and more portable, and it is well-made and good looking and actually meets my needs. Can’t wait to travel with it!
Before I forget, be sure to actually watch the videos. The little pegs on the back can be used kinda like a kicktail. That fact was kind of a game changer for me on deciding to buy it.

I’m so excited about my new elos mini skateboard! I’ll be using this all the time now. It came super fast and was in perfect condition. I’ve never had a skateboard before but I just tried it out and it’s pretty easy to ride. I’m a fan.
Pretty small deck. Fits nicely to my sling bag. Use a couple of Molly straps to hold the wheels(holds without the straps,but I swing my bag slot). I take public transport (both bus and trains} so I needed a small deck so that I can move in crowded spaces.
I used to skate many many years ago. Took a bit to get used to the size. But the guide of where to put your feet is good. Once I put my heel on the logo was able to balance much better. Still miss having a kick tail. But the ‘flatness’ make it easy to store.
Great for all levels, our kids(8 & 10 yr olds) have been skateboarding for less than 10 months on & off. They started with a cheap board from Amazon & after a while it was falling a part. So we decided it was time for a new one & wanted one that was good to ride for begginers as well as advanced riders. As well as it had to be a board that was well made as our first one was cheap & we got what we paid for. So far we are 3 weeks into riding ( myself too) & the kids already say this is a much smoother ride as small bumps or rocks don’t bother them.
Given to a 10 yr old as a birthday present. Easy to learn and lots of fun.
I was looking for a skateboard so that I can get some exercise during my business travels. I am a beginner and find surfboard way easy to control. This is small and challenge. For the product I am happy but to make it a real last mileage commuting tool, this might something too much to ask for a 50+ yr end user 🙂 But I will keep practice and YouTube tutorials are great. However, the board looks bigger on YouTube 🙂
Very much a beginner skateboarder. The board provides great stability and the video instruction was excellent!!!!!!!! Definitely recommend to anyone looking to get into skateboarding or who even want a cute board to travel with. Easy to carry with the built in handles. Also it was packaged so well!! Love the canvas bag it comes in.

I was extremely satisfied with this product, especially with me buying it for my son as a birthday gift. So far, he as well seems to be satisfied with the skateboard, which is very unique in many ways. However, I do have one request as a result of buying the skateboard; if I could be sent the specified tool to loosen up the screws on the trucks to allow more maneuverability, that would be great. Excellent product overall though.
With COVID-19 still highly concerning and Fall semester quickly approaching, I figured I’d splurge on a GOOD and portable skateboard to get me around campus to avoid the crowding university buses. After researching far and near, I came across the Elos skateboard (so far I haven’t fallen YET lol, so that’s already fantastic). Shipping was very quick, the item arrived exactly as advertised! Initially, what caught my attention was its VERY unique shape. I love unconventional stuff so I figured if I’m gonna get one, might as well get one that stands out! The only issue was the fact that I have never skated a day in my life. However, in just a few hours of practicing, I was able to get the basics down pretty quickly! Next is turning, but that’s for another day… All in all, if you are in search for a sturdy, portable, and easy to learn skateboard! ELOS IS IT! I can’t wait to cruise it around campus because tbh… Georgia heat ain’t it!
First timer here. It is a smooth board! Easy to ride. I like the bag & post cards that came along too!
Very high quality skateboard. I was debating to get the eggboard or this, and thought that this would be worth the extra price for the quality especially because of safety concerns. I am glad I chose this. I really enjoy the handles for carrying around, it is very convenient. For beginners, it is best to try on pavement that is not completely smooth but it also cannot be too uneven. I was excited to try it right away I barely read all the packaging that came with it but there are many helpful instructions and even how to obtain a 1 year warranty from purchase.
If you have very large feet, it may be difficult to learn as a beginner. I am a average height female and I think it is near a perfect fit for me.
Many boards say they are light. This one really is!
But it’s not a beginner board. It’s quite a transition from a long board. It is fun, though.
Fun little board. It’s actually really stable even at high speeds. I loosened my trucks so I can get that surfy feel. Very Light weight easy to bring anywhere.
Quality board. My kids are just learning but extra width should help the progress.

The Elos works amazing on flat ground. It is perfect for my college student to get around on campus.
Beautiful woodwork. Nice big cushy wheels. I wear my helmet and wrist guards every time as I’m very clumsy even without wheels! I haven’t fallen yet but I bet I still look very awkward and goofy. With practice I think this is going to be great. It’s also very fun!

Good looking, eary ride and light weght!
Wow, I was surprised how easy it is to learn on! One hour skating around the block and I was back into it. The wide wheel and slightly tight trucks made it easier to learn. Soft wheels means that it absorbs the bumps on the sidewalk easily and they are also quiet. I’ve just loosen the trucks a bit and I can carve more easily now.
The added surprise is how small it is! I can take it with me everywhere and it never feels bulky. The handle makes it easier to carry when ever you stop for lights or when you transition to walking. When you get to your destination, just stand it on its side or hang it on a table. Its so small that it doesn’t bother others or there’s a risk of someone tripping over it.
Yes there is no kick and can’t really do tricks on the board, but my whole idea is to use it as a more of transport and it ticks all the boxes on that front. Easy to carry, chilled riding style, and faster than walking.
The biggest surprise though is for my wife wanting to learn skating on an Elos too!

I have always been intrigued by learning to skateboard, but was always intimidated by size/cost/skill of both skateboards and longboards. Luckily, time spent browsing for some gifts on amazon found this nice little board here! It’s pretty easy to learn, slick, and has a lot of nice features (handles, little hooks to put on tables, compact size) that have made it great so far. I’ve only tested it out a few times, so hopefully it keeps up the good work!
This is my first Amazon review. I’m 58 years old and last rode a skateboard in the 1974. It was made of plexiglass and I spent hours and hours riding it every single day inside and out. Now, 46 years later, I decided I want to try skateboarding again. I just got my elos and went out and after a few minutes it started to comeback. But wow, the technology is so much better. So smooth, so unbelievably smooth. I love that I can carry it so easily because it’s so small. I feel like a kid again.
Im a delivery driver, and this fits the bill! Compact and lightweight. Easy to get accustomed to.
We ordered three boards for the family for ages 8 to 40. We are an active family that bikes, scoots, skates, and skis. We have now added skateboarding to the mix. We live in the city and the easy transportable design makes it great to pop around the city with the board in tow. We all found the Elos easy to learn to ride and fun. We found our new favorite activity.
Update: I rode this board over the summer and I seriously love it. The more comfortable and familiar you get with the board the more you can appreciate how well it works. I ride in the city on flat ground and slight inclines and declines. Stopping the board going down a steep decline can be a chore since the elos does not have a tail and I haven’t learned (if it is possible) to slide it to slow down. Not a huge issue for where I ride though.
Just got it in the mail today and am really impressed with the quality. Beautiful looking and well crafted. I’ve taken it out a bit and it felt good! The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the trucks are very hard to loosen with a basic wrench, as well as it’s not as stable as it’s made to seem. I was also hoping for a bit more carving, but that may come as I get the tool to loosen the trucks.
If you’re in quarantine long enough, you start thinking you’re able to quickly learn how to do things that you previously thought you were unable to do (sourdough anyone?). Skateboarding is one of them. I had tried getting on a board years ago but fell quite hard and gave myself a scare. That longboard is still unused.
I bought this one to eventually have my child ride but of course, I gotta test it out first. The board seems very well made (no splinters like one of the reviews) and I was able to get on and “cruise” a little within minutes. It really is addicting. I’m considering getting another so that I don’t have to share mine.
I bought elos board to play with my 10 year old son.
I’m 40. So this is risky and challenge… but the skateboard is sturdy and pretty easy to ride but very fast!
The package was clean and net, they gave a nice back for the elos board.
Once I get used to riding well, I would go out with my son.
Got this to keep up with my son when he’s riding his scooter. I haven’t skateboarded in many years, but it only took about 10 min. to get acclimated to the length of the board. Good stability and cruises very well. Trucks and wheels are very nice. Small and stable enough for my 5 yr old to begin to learn on also.

Update: fell off it and sprained my ankle. Because of how speedy it is, any path that is even slightly downhill can accelerate it to a level that is difficult to control. A plus if you are skilled at breaking and controlling it, but if you are just learning like me, gotta take it slow!
I did not expect trucks to be somewhat plastic, but they are sturdy. I am planning to upgrade my trucks later on.

I’ve always wanted to learn how to ride a skateboard and now with this I’ve finally learned, within 2 days of practicing!
After loosening the trucks, I’m getting some nice carving out of the board, and it carries my 200 lb frame much better than the small penny I was using for travel. The table feet are such a great idea, and I’ve not seen them on any of the competitors – one of those small reasons I came back to elos after all my shopping.
I still need some time to break in the board a bit, and there’s a little rattle when there’s no weight on the board, and I think I need to tune the trucks a bit more but it’s smooth sailing, good balance, nice turns and easy carrying. Love it so far, and we’ll see how it fares in the airports soon! Nicely done elos!
I really love this board. This board has the coolest look, it’s so smooth, it’s easy to carry and comes in a bag/ backpack. I would and have highly recommended this board to so many.
I was very impressed with the quality of the board.
It came in a really nice bag with all the paperwork inside. The board came pre-assembled which was nice.
It has great polyurethane wheels with cutouts which add a bit of style. On the tail it has small spacers to give a tactile response before your foot falls off the board.
The only negative is that it doesn’t have much grip on the deck. However it hasn’t been a problem yet. I may apply grip to the board later if I have to.
This was a Christmas gift for my 12 y/o son. He loved it. It did take a little adjustment on foot placement since he usually longboards but it comes with a brochure to give you some tips. It also came with a cinch sack for easy carry.
My background: 0 of skateboard but I do snowboard. Day one: I follow the video tutorial from the merchandise and this is what I got. I can do straight lines but I still need to work on my turns. Planning to take this board to my first europe trip as a quick commute.

Our 4 year old wanted nothing but a skateboard for xmas. This turned out to be the perfect board for him to learn on. He was up on it in no time and has been having a ball all day!

Mucho ms fcil de usar que una patineta normal. Nunca pude aprender a montar patineta pero en un solo da pude montar la elos skateboard. Definitivamente me falta mucho para ser realmente buena pero me emociona contar con una elos skateboard, porque es estable, bonita y ligera, lo que la hace muy prctica.
I really love this skateboard. From its compact size to ease of riding, it’s the only skateboard I’ve been able to get on and instantly feel confident I can go more than 3 feet forward. Even the packaging was amazing; the box had tips to get started, and additional tips were included in the box. I’m such a clumsy person with not great balance but for some reason I can hop up on this board and look like I know what I’m doing. I wanted something that I can hop on while the kids ride their bikes/scooters so I can keep up with them and this fits the bill perfectly. I’m going to have to get a second because I’m not going to want to share with my husband or kids!
It feels super smooth, light, and fast. It’s a cool little board for getting around if you have the right environment for it.
The quality of the board is great, and the incorporated handles in the design are convenient. I was able to cruise the board and teach someone else how to as well in one day after watching the training videos. Neither of us had prior experience skateboarding. Can’t beat it!
So far so good! Only few hours my 6 years old already standing on it with confidence 🙂 Will take out for a spin when whether gets better, with a hell lot of protections, of coz!

convenience but board is somehow small and balance is hard to keep. using it daily is good. my board had cracks after first hit on the wall.

I had a 52 inch longboard back in college, which was fun to ride, but it was heavy and very inconvenient to carry into class. Elos is small and easy to carry. I checked on my kitchen scale. The weight seems to be about 1.85kg (about 4 pounds). I’m not sure if my scale is correctly calibrated, but in any case, the board is very light.
Also, it is smooth. Really smooth! With most skateboards, your feet can start to feel a little numb after lots of vibrations. But I haven’t encountered that yet at all after riding the elos. Very smooth.
I’ve ridden other small skateboards, but none are even close to being as smooth or as fun to ride as Elos.
Super smooth mini longboard still trying to learn how to ride it but can’t wait to use it around campus.
The skateboard is lightweight but also really solid and though. Had no problem carrying it on a plane using his bag.
As a plus, my 3-year-old daughter also is having such a great time with it, really easy to learn and get along.
This board is sick! Very well built. It is heavier than I expected and will take some getting used to, but I’m loving it so far.
