Having bought this box set I came across some dodgy reviews and was a bit worried. However, having watched 3 of the series I have not encountered any problem yet.
Great box set and very bingeworthy
I love this show, I got course of Alex Kingston and I’ve enjoyed it all. It’s all cardboard, the box and the dvd cases, the disks slide into slats in the cases.

THIS ER DVD SERIES IS FANTASTIC TO HAVE AND BEST ONE EVER.
Er series is fantastic. Unfortunately many of the discs would not play on our DVD player so had to use another player on a smaller tv in another room and the picture was poor.
The complete set! Every episode from start to finish! Very addictive to watch, great story lines and brilliant acting! Comes nicely packaged, well worth the price!
One of the greatest hospital dramas ever made now can watch over again at my own leisure

he more I watch ER the more I realise that every other hospital drama that came afterwards (of which there are many) is just a pale imitation.
It’s been a pleasure to see this ER, complete season, because I was quite little when we could see it on TV and nowdays, after almost 15 years working as an emergency phisician, I share most of the feelings, people implicated in the film tried to show. Congratulations!!!

Good series and fun to see how technology changed over the years ;). Bit disappointed about the double sided DVDs. You never know which one you have in your hand.

Never a dull moment in the Chicago hospital, this will make you laugh, make you cry and everything in between.
Brilliantly written characters, excellently casted making you care what happens to the characters.

I enjoyed it very much. The way it was packed in a box is great, and i would prefere, if you did more often – collected all seasons in one box.. It is just more practical, and it doesn’t need so much space..
LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT. As an ER addict I will watch these series over and over. Am almost finished the whole 15 series and have not been disappointed. Wish I had bought it sooner. Good value too because I had already bought series 1, 2, 3, and 4 at 15.99 each so for another 11 it was cheaper to buy the box set.
I loved the series and decided to buy the dvds, I bought just the individual series 1 and 2 firstly but couldn’t get hold of 3, I looked around to see if any other of the series were readily available but they weren’t so I decided to buy the complete series so I knew I would definatley have all 15 series, I am halfway through the box set and I am loving it, and the price was a bargain!! I’m one happy customer.
The first 11 seasons of ER are just great, however once the main cast members startedto leave it just lost its appeal. The focus on the character Neela in the last few seasons is disappointing as she is a terrible actress, but worth the buy for the the first two thirds of the series

Not my cup of tea but the recipient was very pleased i got this from his wish list. He is currently working his way through the lot and very happy.
One of the most complete and entertaining shows on TV, ER is the benchmark for medical drama. Nothing has come close to matching it for the quality of acting and consistency of the script. It fades a little over later seasons but overall ER is one of the most enjoyable TV series recent times. 80 odd quid is a small amount to pay for such quality entertainment.
This series which is so compelling with great storylines actors who have went on to greater things michael crichton managed to have casts that complimented all stages and changes through a magnificent series No 1

I think is interesting to know that you can choose between three languages (English,German and Spanish) and subtitles are also in many languages. The product information doesn’t say anything about it…
We bought this a few years back and still haven’t seen all of them. Whenever the TV is boring we whack another E.R. on. You can’t beat this quality American Drama. Love it.
All the episodes as it says in the title, would never be allowed that much room on the sky box so this means I can watch an episode and not worry about it being deleted by DP !
A TV Masterpiece, BUY BUY BUY
I reported this problem to customer services using the ring back option via the website & the problem was dealt with straight away & to my satifaction. I am very pleased with Amazon customer services. I quickly received a replacement box set & every disk up to Season 11, disk 3, side 1 have worked so far.
The box set itself brings back memories of the original airing on TV all those years ago & how much I enjoyed watching it then. Although there are a lot of disks to get thru, 48 I think, I am enjoying every minute of every disk.
Well written & acted, great character & medical story lines too. Sometimes funny, sometimes sad & also sometimes quite shocking.
I use the English subtitles & they work very well. Other subtitles in different lauguages are also available too.
It is interesting to see certain actors & actresses that have now gone on to star in other dramas who I think had made their debut in ER. One being the actor that now currently plays Taub in House. There are others too including Nurse Carol Hathaway who now stars in The Good Wife.
I am now currently up to nearly watching all of Season 11 & don’t want it to end. I am watching 3 episodes a night & since they are each about 43 minutes long, the epidodes seem to fly past quickly.
I highly recommend this great, iconic, American medical drama box set !.
Auch wenn man nur 10 dieser 15 groartigen Staffeln auf Deutsch sehen kann, lohnt sich diese Box auf jedenfall. Wie andere hier schon geschrieben haben, bieten die Staffen 5-14 Deutschen Ton und Untertitel. Die restlichen sind aber mit Untertiteln im Englischen OT gut zu verstehen und man kann der Serie folgen. (Auch mit Schulenglisch.)
Zum Inhalt brauche ich sicherlich nicht mehr viel zu sagen, sptestens nach eine Paar Folgen will man einfach mehr… An das stndige Personalwecheln muss man sich wohl gewhnen. Verschiedene Personen tauch irgendwann pltzich auf und sind irgendwann meist auch genau so schnell wieder weg.
Die Box ist so aufgemacht, dass sie neben anderen DVDs gut in ein Regal passen sollte. Selbst wenn man die Staffeln 1-4 und 15 in der Box gegen die Deutsche Version austauschen mchte sollte der Platz reichen.
Never had to return anything to Amazon before, and was amazed at the speed (started the process on a Saturday, replaced by the time I got back from work on the Monday).
Not managed to see it all yet, so I cannot say if I’m going have other problems as mentioned throughout the reviews.
My score assumes I don’t have any more problems, running out of things to cross and wood to touch here, but even as one of my most favourite dramas of all time, I cannot give it 5/5.
This is a very nice box, with all the ER seasons. It’s not as big as I thought it would be..that’s only good! Then I still have room for all my other TV shows..;) It’s very entertaining, and you can learn a lot of stuff from this show…which I really like! It’s very beliveable. A nice box to have around if you need to kill some time;)
Bis heute unerreicht, Emergency Room, basierend auf den eigenen Erfahrunge von Bestseller-Autor Michael Crichton, ist diese US-Serie, beginnend Mitte der Neunziger und bis weit in die 2000er Jahre erfolgreich gewesen.
Beschrieben werden Berufs- und Privatleben von rzten, Pflegepersonal und anderen Mitarbeitern der Notaufnahme eines fiktiven Chicagoer Lehrkrankenhauses. Das ist spannend, oftmals im Takt eines rasenden Herzens geschnitten, mit zittriger Kamera gefilmt, anrhrend, authentisch und so gut wie nie sentimental.
Bislang habe ich fnf Staffeln verfolgt und hoffe nun, dass die langsam anstehende Teilumwlzung des Casts nichts an der Brillanz der bisherigen Storylines ndert.
Zur Box selbst ist zu sagen, sie ist rationell und daher im Preis-Leistungsverhltnis nicht zu toppen. Die DVDs befinden sich je Staffel in nur einer blichen DVD-Hlle, sie sind beidseitig bespielt und berlappend verstaut, es ist also etwas Fingerspitzengefhl beim Umgang mit den empfindlichen Speichermedien gefragt. Die Hllen sind unspektakulr, aber platzsparender geht es nun wirklich nicht, als Umverpackung dient eine hbsche Pappbox. Die glnzende Beschichtung war bereits an den Ecken abgestoen, was jedoch unvermeidbar ist aufgrund des Materials, auch dies geht aber in Ordnung.
Umfangreicheres Bonusmaterial bieten vor allem die ersten Staffeln, ab Staffel 3 wird es zusehens dnner, allerdings nicht unblich fr Serienverffentlichungen.
Fr deutsche Fans ist an dieser Box besonders die zum grten Teil vorhandene deutsche Tonspur interessant. Staffeln 5-14 liegen in deutscher Fassung vor, was auch deutsche Mens beinhaltet. Wie schon ein Vorschreiber erwhnte lohnt es sich im Vergleich zum Einzelkauf der deutschen Einzelverffentlichungen hier gar, sich die brigen 5 Staffeln zustzlich auf Deutsch zuzulegen und sie einfach gegen die rein englischen DVDs auszutauschen.
Ich bin begeistert von dieser Box, eine solche gnstige Gesamtverffentlichung empfinde ich als beispielhaft und wrde mir auch hierzulande hnliche Produkte wnschen, fr Leute, die ohne viel Schnickschnack eine gute Serie genieen mchten.
Ein Wort noch zum Rcknahmeservice von Amazon: Ich hatte bei der Erstlieferung eine Box mit einer doppelten und dadurch eben auch einer fehlenden DVs erwischt und innerhalt von zwei Tagen hatte ich eine Ersatzbox, die nun vollstndig ist. Vorbildlich.
I waited ages before I bought this set, wish I had bought it before.
The writing and acting are superb, and even the early episodes don’t seem at all dated.
Brilliant, and worth every penny!
This box set brought back many happy memories of watching ER from the very beginning. I looked forward to sitting with my feet up with a glass of wine watching George Clooney and the gang in the hospital.
Thoroughly enjoyable and very good value for money.
Though the cast changed and new actors came on board, the mix of high energy, intense, medical dramas and touching, thought provoking storylines rarely failed to grab your attention and even sometimes amaze you – like Dr Romano’s fate. Watch out for a particularly fine early episode with Ewan McGregor. You will run the gamut of most human emotions watching this fine quality TV series.
I love this series! I couldn’t recommend it enough. Be warned though, every episode leaves you wanting more. But with 22 episodes in each of the 15 seasons there are enough hours of ER in this box set to satisfy any fanatic.

P.S. On some discs they include a blooper reel which is absolutely hilarious, and definitely worth watching!

Not really what i expect from a new Amazon product.
Even if you didn’t like season x or character y, there is enough here for anyone.

I don’t have pal tv, so I watch this on PC after ripping. This box set is not so expensive compared
to a blank dvd media. That’s why at first I hesitated
to buy, but it seems to be a real WHV dvd, i could not find out any pirated exibit. In fact, there are many pirated at almost same price, such as having total 100 dvds supports both pal/ntsc, but
this might not be such one. This is very affordable.
