I like the fact it’s rechargeable. Very bright and perfect for walking the dog. Have used it for nearly a week now and not needed to charge it yet. It comes in a nice little case too.also has a nifty function that you can switch it on or off by passing your hand in front of i
This is a neatly packaged product, comfortable to wear/adjust to head size and very easy to operate. The recharger lead is an added bonus, and the light levels are spot on for close work and lighting up obscure corners. I particularly like the tilt facility on the light, enabling me to focus the beam precisely where it needs to go. Great value for money.
Since my last headlight was unable to recharge, I’ve been searching for one as lightweight and as bright (unfortunately my last one isn’t available any more). I’ve tried a few and sent them all back for a refund as they’ve all been disappointing.
However, this one I’m keeping! It’s not quite as good as my original one, but it’s a whole lot better than most. I’ve only used it 3 times so far, so can’t comment on battery life, but I like the tilting feature and the variable lighting options. So far so good!
Only use this once so far but it’s a great little head torch. Fits well and is very comfortable due to its adjustable strap. Nice and bright but not so bright that it ‘whites out’ what you’re working on.
The perfect answer to hands-free working in dim or dark conditions. Great price too.
Really good head torch. As always Amazon asks you to review a product that you have only just received
I’m willing to retract this review if anything goes wrong.
At the moment I’m happy with the price and the delivery time. Not to sure how the product will fare going forward
Recommend for engineers. Electricians, plumbers and pretty much all trades
Great little headlamp band comfortable lamp is bright great when you can swipe your hand in front to turn on and off I would recommend this product great service from Amazo
Great value for money, charge up well and last a long time. Perfect use. Thank you. Will buy again when needed
First use was to see a gutter joint in a dark area to help seal it. It worked well. I like the different positions of the light. It is comfortable. The controls are easy. I like the variety of settings. I bought it because it got a good right up from Which. It was nearly a best but and 10 cheaper than the cheapest best buy.
I have eye trou ble a d this does what it says and is a very bighelp
Only disadvantage it always comes on at brightest setting I.e it does not stay on medium or low settings.
Very strong beam of light, well worth getting,I used it in the Maldives, some places I went to where pich black.but the beam from the light was well bright enough to see where i was walking, would recommended, the light has some different options & it can be adjusted to shine down once on your head.
It does quite a good job and probably alright for walking, but the sensor is a bit over sensitive. Everytime I moved past something it switched off. Doesn’t seem to matter if its your hand or side of a truck, it goes on / off. But then other times you wave your hand and it refuses to work. Now in bag as a backup. Good theory but needs work.
I brought this yesterday and had not long received it.
I’ve tested it out and I was so surprised to the out come. I was so speech less that I can there for say it’s recommend to every one.
I tested it in and outside the property and I am so surprised to find that I can see to what I need to do and where to go as well
My brother brought me one but so different from this one and this one beats the one that I’ve had to witch has stopped working and the sensor mode is great cause that will save the battery as well and when your not using youhead light you an wave your hand so you can turn it on or off.
It does to what it says the case is beautiful so you can carry it around with you and I can really tell you I’m 100000000 percent happy to this head light I’ll be buying more in and I highly recommend this to everyone who truly need a perfect light for what they are doing.
Get one I tell you, you will be happy with this head light and you won’t be needing any touches for a good while due to its perfect for you
Bought for my early morning runs, this head torch does everything I want it to, and I’m very pleased with it. The package is neat; The small circular pouch has a sturdy zip and the torch and charging cable are stored easily inside. The light is bright – I tend to use low power mode which is plenty bright enough for running on unlit paths. The motion sensor works fine, but I don’t use it. It is easy to find the large button on the torch when I’m wearing it and it reliably cycles through bright, low, flashing and off. The torch also has a very positive hinge which allows you to set the beam to point just where you want it. I haven’t checked how long the rechargeable battery lasts but I tend to charge it after every two or three runs. And I’ve had no problems. My only slight concern is with the cover for the charging socket. It is slightly fiddly to open and I’m not sure whether it’s fully waterproof.
This head torch has been fantastic for walking the dog during the late evenings/nights. It’s very bright and the charge lasts for a long time. I’m terrible for remembering to replace batteries so charging makes it easier. Not had much chance to try the other features like motion sensor and the red lights, as don’t really have a use for them.
It might seem harsh but the reason I wouldn’t give this a full 5 stars is because it uses the older micro-USB for charging rather than USB-C. For me personally it’s a bit frustrating as everything else I own uses USB-C, so I’ve got to hunt out the cable each time.
The lights and motion sensor on these is superb!
The light has three brightness levels and for going up in the loft medium brightness is plenty for the darkness!
Motion sensor is also spot on, it has a few inches of reach so going up and down the ladder might give you a small seizure as it recognises the steps as your hand constantly turning it off and on as your climbing but its not really a problem, just turn off the motion sensor whilst your climbing 🙂
Battery live is fine however I’ve never tested the max duration so cannot vouch for that. Lasted fine for over an hour in the loft at medium/high brightness.
ONLY let down of this light is the pivot mechanism. Its effectively a plastic pressure groove system which holds the light in place with the same power as snot. Jump or move your head too quickly and it will pivot away from your chosen angle. There are no tightening screws to set the angle either so once you wear down those plastic grooves pivoting the light up and down over its lifetime it will 100% wear and just sag. Shame really as the light is virtually perfect otherwise for the price point. Perhaps they want the pivot to break so you buy a new one 🙂
This product does exactly what it says. It does not have the red light feature that some have that helps with night vision purposes when hiking at night, but what it lacks in that one area is makes up for it two others. One is the light is provides when on full, or even on half, is a wide beam that provides great visibility. However when you then put it on hand-motion switch on, it then makes it so easy to quickly turn on/off the light for your needs. Worth the pennies.
Bought this on my outdoor cave adventure trip to Harrogate, it gave a brilliant lighting and comes in very good package box case which help protect the lamp from scratch and it good value for money
I have had a number of head torch, and this is simple the bes
Lightweight, bright and very adjustable light, motion detection works well but only if you are working at a reasonable distance from the object as any head moves switch the light off wouldn’t really mark it down for that.
We bought it for decorating a dark cloakroom. Worked a tray, showed up how patchy the first coat was
Very Good Head Torch I have now bought 3 for myself and family members and will be getting more, they make an good present.
Very Bright and comfortable. Not used in the rain yet. Sensor is very sensitive but not a huge issue
No weight to it very good lighting no fuss stay in place very impressed good price too
I use this head torch for working nights on the railway.
It is very bright on all settings and can be charged in the car. The battery life of good and lasts a full 12 hour shift. It is light weight and easy to use.
I would recommend.
I bought one of these because my faithful Petzl head torch finally gave up. Compared to the old one this is incredibly bright. For most uses the less bright setting would probably be more than adequate. I bought a second one after a while and keep one for general use whilst the other is permanently fixed to my bike helmet as it’s excellent for cycling at night as a supplement to the light on the handlebars. Being rechargeable is an advance on using AAA batteries but I found the torches take a surprisingly long time to charge from nothing so it would be worth thinking ahead and charging up before you find you need the torch and that the battery is flat.
Fantastic torch, rechargable battery is so handy and lasts so long even on the brightest setting.
Very bright light and comfortable to wea
The ability to switch the headtorch on with a wave of your hand (thanks to the sensor) means you can turn it off quickly when it’s not needed and really extend the battery life.
One thing to note – close your eyes as you wave your hand in front of the headtorch to turn it on and off. Why? because the beam’s reflection off your hand is very bright and can spoil your night vision.
It’s a super bright little headlamp that fits neatly on the head.
Being rechargeable and having a strong beam was important for me during my work as a foot health practitioner. The case is bright yellow so not easy to lose in your bag.
The only downside for me is that it doesn’t remain bright enough beyond about 4 hours of straight
usage. but, if you’re only needing this for a few hours, it is ideal.
I would definitely recommend.
Really great product, very bright light, comfortable and light weight.
We’re a household with 2 of these now!! It’s a great product. Stays put. Easy to use. Absolutely recommend.
The red light is ideal for astrophotography, easily controlled without allowing white light which can ruin night vision…
I liked how bright it is for such a small torch
My son used it in the bush and was happy with it so I bought myself one.
Amazing bit of kit! I’m a Drainage engineer and the motion sensor on/off is a great addition ( for obvious reasons) Long lasting battery, very bright too
Good source of light, not exactly sure about how long battery last but for what I’m doing is perfec
Part of a running team who at the moment train in the dark evenings. Wearing this head torch is like running in daylight. Everyone should have one I rave over it so do my fellow runners
It is very bright and handy. The container is useful to carry it everywhere in my bag. When the work unexpectely took longer and I had to home a bit late, (and in winter it can get dark really quickly, ) this is really handy.
Good value, great product, easy to charge. The light is very bright and easy to wear upon your head.
Does exactly as it says in the advert. I like the fact its rechargeable so no battery wastage and it’s bright.
Best thing about it – can switch on and off without going thru loads of light variations
Great head torch for the price. It’s light, bright and waterproof. The brightest setting is too bright and drains the battery faster so I use the not-so-bright setting which is bright enough.
The most useful feature turns out to be one I didn’t have on my selection criteria, which is the tilt mechanism so that the light can be directed at an angle towards the ground rather than straight ahead very iseful for walking in the dark. Everything else is of good build quality and I am happy with the performance for the price.
The brightness is amazing even on the lowest setting its simple to use as well light weight on your head
I should caveat this review by saying that I have only used this head torch twice bit so far, I am very happy with it.
– Great price
– Very bright
– Sturdy and fits well
I’ve done two night time 10k runs and it has been good. It is easier to flick between max brightness (setting 1) and half power (setting 2) whilst on the move, and I like how you can change the pitch by angling down.
I registered for the two year warranty so hopefully nothing changes and I don’t need to call on it…but it is good to have it just in case.
I had looked about for a running head torch and you can pay significantly more than what this cost. I would recommend anyone to consider this first, in terms of bang for buck, you can’t beat it.
Very bright, perfect for my boyfriend when he’s out late in his wheelchair, perfect for when he needs to see where he’s going and there are no street lighting, also he can be seen also!
Bright not bad battery life strap is comfortable. I using as my emergency light in van pluges in usb in glove box kept charged for when needed. Also like case as keeps in undamaged when i shove things in there as we all do
Fits well on the head (I have a small head) and easy to turn on/off though do read the instructions as there are two on/off buttons that work in different ways to suit different needs. The battery starts to fade sooner than the product description suggests but I can walk the dogs several times without a problem. Easy to charge up. Very happy with it.
Bought for a friend at a good price for crimbo.
I have a mining/rescue head torch that cost a bomb a few years back. After seeing this in action in the field at night a few weeks back, I am buying one for myself.
Good brightness and motion activated on and off which impressed me (Wave in front of it, it won’t pick up motion from over a foot)
I bought this head torch for my partner, mainly for when we walk the dogs at night but also for work, he’s a builder and sometimes struggles to hold a torch when he’s working in dark, small spaces.
The torch comes in a small round zip up yellow case, the torch has an adjustable elasticated strap so it fits snugly on his head.
The torch is extremely bright for starters, like very, very, bright I was actually surprised just how bright it actually is when my partner turned it on for the first time, it lights up a large area in front of you and the areas to the sides in front of you too so you can see everything you need to at night.
The torch has easy press buttons on the top to turn it on and off and it also has a really clever sensor setting too. If you press the top left button it turns blue and the torch comes on, when you wave your hand in front of you the torch will turn off and on as required which is really useful if you’ve got your hands full (I’ve shown this feature in the video I’ve uploaded with the review)
The torch beam can be adjusted while on your head, it can point straight ahead, but you can also tilt it downwards through a 50-60 degree angle so you can see in front and below you.
Really have got no complaints, it charges by usb, has a 30 hour run time and also looks good.
You won’t be disappointed
I use it at night to locate our cat. Living in the countryside it is very dark at night and the light works amazing
Very fast delivery, does what it promises, good strong white light that easily gives visibility out to 100m and a very fair price for the produc
I bought this to replace an existing head light. It’s very lightweight and comes with a carrying pouch. In use, the lamp is extremely bright – you can’t look directly at it on full. Sensor mode is OK, but triggers at 7″/18cm, meaning it’s easy to accidentally turn it on and off. You’re forever waving your arms around like a demented bear to turn it back on. I find the controls a bit confusing to use. If the red light is on and you activate sensor mode, you can turn on the white light as well, which I think is a bug. The lamp looks great and is lightweight. It doesn’t feel particularly sturdy though. It does come with a 2-year warranty. Like many of these lamps, it would benefit greatly from a lens diffuser as the beam is extremely narrow. I paid 20, which I felt was a bit on the expensive side. I’d give it 3.5/5 but rounded it up to 4.
Only used it once so far but the brightness was great. Yet to see how long the battery lasts but it did a 1hr walk great.
Brilliant product, especially love that you can recharge it – the light is very powerful, it’s brilliant on dog walks at this time of year.
