I deliver milk through the night door to door so a head torch is a must this one is great when the battery is full nice and bright I can spot numbers on houses easily I have the motion sensor on for quickness found with this torch on and off say every 2-5mins it lasted about 4 hours kinda hoping it would have lasted my full shift 6hours with some time to spare for nights I have to work longe

Brightness good. Not sure about battery life yet – only just started using.
Far better than others I have used (especially the beanie hats with an LED light which are not worth buying.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas from the dog and it has been a hit! He wears it in the early morning or evening on dog walks and says it is perfect. Would recommend!

Unfortunately the lamp unclipped from the headband as I was working on a chimney.
To its credit after falling 30 feet bouncing off a roof and landing in a neighbour’s yard the light stayed on.
Unfortunately having to return it as the fixing isn’t secure enough for my needs.
    Great for walking etc

I use it when walking the dog. It can also be moved up or down so it doesn’t blind on coming traffic and turns off with a wave of your hand.

Excellent battery life and handy case to keep it in.

The only reason that this did not get 5 stars for battery is be pause I do not know the performance of the battery yet . Really easy to charge easy to adjust for head width . Understanding modes , on /off etc is simple case to carry in is great . Obviously though you can get charging lead inside aswell but not plug . Nothing comes with a plug now so use other USB’s. Great headtorch.

Really bright, accurate beam for running. The hand activated option can be useful but does go off if anything passes the beam so don’t use it. Angle of torch adjustable. Would buy again.

Brilliantly bright and very easy to charge and use. It’s found a place in my glove compartment in the car so I have to remember to charge it regularly. It’s in a neat little yellow leatherette pouch.
I’m tempted to buy some as gifts.

This head torch is exactly what I wanted. I use it for work, I work on building sites where there is little or no light , it lights up the whole area and is a great fit on my hard hat. It’s full beam is very powerful almost too powerful so most of the time I use the low beam which makes it last longer.
The sensor is a bit too sensitive so I just have it on low beam all the time.

With it being so dark now in the evenings, it was making walking the dog tricky and restricted me to the street lit roads. Also, picking up his poo with my phone light in one hand and poo bag in the other was a disaster waiting to happen!
This light is so good. Goes around my head+hat+hood (it’s cold!). Tilts down so I can keep my head in a natural position whilst lighting the floor ahead. The wave-to-turn on and off is surprisingly handy. It has a bright centre at the same time as a less bright broader beam.
Now I’m happily walking the dog in pitch black in the middle of a field. No problem. Charge does last for many dog walks but do try to remember to charge it occasionally!
Would be nice to have a battery indicator. Turning it off is a bit fiddly as you have to press the power button several times to cycle through the modes. But no big deal.
    Highly recommended.

I bought this lamp based on feedback and the cost, which I am glad I did.

I have been running in the early mornings before sunrise in the pitch black and the torch has done an amazing job of keeping the path ahead of me illuminated.

I usually wear it over my hat or baseball cap, and I have not had any discomfort with it so far.

I have run in the rain and fog, with temperatures going low as 1c and the headlamp has not shown any issues with my 1 hour long runs at full beam.

I would highly recommend this to any runner!

I’ve started walking two ageing dogs at night to make sure they ‘go’ before bed, and juggling two leads, a normal torch and poo bags isn’t ideal.

This head torch has two brightness settings, the lower of which is more than enough. The beam angle is adjustable so I can point it just far enough ahead to be useful, but not so close as it shines in the dogs’ eyes if they look up at me. It’s comfortable to wear with or without a hat, but obviously, the best bit is that it’s always pointing where you’re looking – like having your own private sun.

The hand-waving control is convenient, but can be false-triggered by objects a couple of feet away, but with practice this can probably be minimised.

Not sure about the 650 lumens claim as I have a 250l led lenser that is almost as bright.
However that said it very good head torch and very bright, ideal for all sorts.
Particularly like the hands swipe on off function , very handy.
I have several head torches and this one is up with the best of them, bought a second as a present for another member of the family. Would recommend.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBought this headlight to replace my old headlight which frankly wasn’t too bright. I use this for work and it does the job. It’s difficult to explain what I do but I work in shipping loading and unloading trailers, containers and tanks off ferries (It’s actually called a RORO Ferry). During my duties, I have to place four locking pins in holes on the decks of ships which aren’t much bigger than the pins. Some of this is done at night with limited lighting and I’m driving a non road going HGV so I’m around eight or nine feet above the holes looking down. My old torch wouldn’t light up the holes but this one does-and it does it very well.

I do have a couple of niggles although I could be nit picking. The stated run time for this torch is two and a half hours on maximum (there are two light settings as well as strobe). I would say that the actual run time is closer to one and a half hours-maybe two-but not the two and a half claimed. Also I have tried the sensor setting. This means that a wave of a hand would turn the torch on instead of using the buttons. This sensor is far too sensitive and any sort of motion either of the users head or something in front of the user will switch it on. This can get a little tiresome-especially at night-as I drive off road HGV’s and the torch would turn on at random. But as I said above, this could be nit picking.

Pros. Very bright. Easy to use. Comfortable to wear.

Cons. Run time may not be as advertised. On/off sensor too sensitive.

A really neat and solid head light which gives as much light as you’re ever likely to need in dark conditions. Need to be careful if you have your cagoule hood pulled up in auto mode: head movements do tend to cause on and off when the sensor see the hoods edge.

It’s adequately bright for fast paced night biking. Other features are handy, ie red flashing light.
Swipe on and off works most of the time, but slightly gimmicky imho. Comfy to wear with nice thick band. Zip pouch is handy and makes it easy to find and carry..
Altogether worth the money I would say.

Came fully charged. Very bright on full and still plenty bright on half. The slow strobe setting could be useful if encountering a big cat in the woods as they don’t like that at all and the hands free on off could be used as a camp security/self defense feature. Great for the price. The usb rechargeable feature means you can recharge from solar panel or windup radio charger etc

Light, easy to use. On its brightest setting it’s a little much, and not good for doing anything that involves movement as the movement sensor is sensitive and will turn off.

The nights are drawing in but the dog still expect a walk. I live in a small village in the countryside with no streetlights and I wear this when I take them out and I have to say it is brilliant in more ways than one. Obviously it’s very bright and being headmounted it means I can keep my hands in my pockets. The battery lasts for about a week on one charge. Also good for startling owls. Highly recommended. Great value.

Great little light at a good price. I’m using this in total dark conditions and it works well. Light travels for at least 20/30 metres with more than adequate illumination The battery lasts me well and is rechargeable. The sensor works by pasing your hand in front of the headlamp, great for not having to fumble about with buttons if your wearing gloves.
    Happy with this.

This light performs well on low and high beam the sensor on off is a bit hit and miss, battery life is great and with the mini usb included I can charge on the go, case is well made to protect the light and nice hinge to angle the beam when wearing it.

It’s very nicely put together, I like the little wallet thing to store and carry it. The light is bright enough for wandering about a pitch dark attic with ease which is what I use it for mainly. I’m not too sure about the red lamps feature and I’m guessing the strobe is for people wanting to be seen more than to see (e.g. cyclists). The hand sensor is a good idea but can turn to hilarity if using for household jobs e.g. climbing up and down a ladder – it recognizes anything in front of it as a hand so it switches on and off whenever anything including rungs appears 40cm in front of it. But it’s very user friendly and a great little headlamp for general usage.

I have had this head torch for around a year now and have used it a lot. Walking the dog at night, doing restoration work on a camper and general car and house repairs.
It’s really nice and bright and I like that it’s got quite a good spotlight effect.
I thought I would use the motion activated sensor more, but in practice, it’s just as easy to use the buttons.
My one and only criticism is that after a year, the tilt mechanism has worn out, meaning that it flops down all the time and doesn’t stay where you put it. Some tape on the little plastic grooves has helped though.
Would I buy one again? Definitely!

Only downside was the sensors for turning on and off, because I use the torch for mechanical work your arms often cross past your head and turn it off, however got around them just covered the sensors with tipex!

I’ve had a few head torches over the years from the likes of Petzel and, although I wouldn’t say the quality of this is of the same standard, I really am struggling to find anything bad about it.

The highest beam setting is incredibly bright so I tend to use the next setting down.

Bought it a month ago and used a fair amount when walking the dog, but I still haven’t had to re-charge it.

For the price, I think it’s a great piece of kit and will happily recommend.

I bought it after reading about its features, specifically the sensor mode. It’s handy when walking our dog in the early morning in winter. You just need to wave your hand in front of the sensor. Different light modes, from floodlight bright, to less intense brightness. Highly recommend.

I bought this to use when running as i mostly go out in the late evenings. I have been using it on the less bright setting which was adequate but last night i did 5k through woods an used the brightest setting. Visibility is excellent and the beam angle can be set exactly to your needs. The battery has been fine so far and I don’t foresee any issues with it for the amount i use it at any one time. For use at home the auto on/off function is handy to avoid blinding those around you but easy to turn off if you don’t require it. Comes in a nice carry case, all in all its perfect for what i wanted, recommended.

I really love this head torch. I use it daily when dog walking and I like the feature which means I can turn the light off by waving my hand in front of the sensor. I only charge it weekly and probably use on average for an hour a day – I dont let it run down, just opt to charge weekly so I dont forget!. I attach the carry case to my bag which means in the morning s when I have finished with it I know where to find it – perfect. It fits really well, nice and snug . It has the ability to move the beam being hinged. Its a winner as far as I am concerned!!

Golden Review Award: 45 From Our UsersOnce a gamekeeper, an angler and astrophotographer, a good head torch has proved an invaluable piece of equipment. My first head lamp was a small Petzl which was 35 and had a dire maximum output of 30 lumens! It also used 3 AAA batteries which was a nuisance as you were always left with an odd one.Though reliable and having excellent battery life I dropped it once on a wooden floor and it literally flew to pieces.
Looking for something much brighter and more robust I bought a Fenix at around 50.This had excellent light output rated very conservatively at 375 lumens, ran on 4 AA batteries and boasted all aluminium construction. Now Fenix have become an established name their prices are more commensurate with their impressive build quality. After years of use the very stiff cable of the Fenix broke and I was looking to replace it.
What I wanted was a durable, comfortable, lightweight lamp with a usefully bright output and a good battery life under realistic use.The Everbeam H6 Pro meets these criteria easily at a very keen price.
It also offers some very useful features missing on many head lamps.
Firstly the addition of two small red LEDs.I can’t understand the marketing saying “they do not disturb wildlife” as they are far too dim to spot the wildlife anyway. However as anyone who has turned up to a star party with a white light only to be told they are banned will attest, a dim red light is absolutely essential for reading star charts or adjusting a telescope. It also has a red strobe mode which strangely gives a shorter runtime at 20 hours than the continuous mode.
Secondly unlike most budget offerings this light uses a 1200 mAh Lithium-ion battery which can be charged via USB in 3 hours.I wish that like some Nitecore lights it was possible to power the light via a USB power bank with the possibility of huge battery life.
The details on this lights performance are scant even on the Everbeam website.Though it boasts a rating of 650 lumens a look at the small print reveals this is an internal test not an ANSI rating. There is no rating at all for what they call low setting which I find dubious.I would estimate this is around 100 lumens and have no reason to doubt the claimed 10 hour duration. There is also a powerful white strobe mode.
I find it telling that the almost identical Nitecore NU32 is rated at 550 lumens and using a larger capacity 1800 mAh battery runs for one hour while the H6 pro claims 100 extra lumens for 90 extra minutes from its smaller 1200 mAh battery.Something just doesn’t add up.To be fair the NU32 is close to 3x the price!
Unlike more high end brands there is no indication of the breadth of the beam which is enormously important to different use cases.I found this light typical of most small reflector types in having abroad beam with a slight hot spot and a useful throw of only 80-100 metres at best, short of the 126 metres claimed.
It is also woth noting that this light has a waterproof rating of IPX 4, this means it is “splashproof from any angle”.The manufacturers video irresponsibly shows the light immersed in water, only advisable with a rating of at least IPX 7 “immersible up to 30 minutes”.Closely watching the video is seems the demonstrator is holding his finger firmly over the vulnerable charging socket to make this stunt possible. If waterproofing is really vital look for an IPX 8 rating “waterproof to 2 metres continuously”
This brings us to the generous 2 year guarantee which might sway some buyers.Another look in the small print reveals this only applies to the admittedly robust ABS body of the unit, all the internal parts including battery and LED are only covered for 3 months!
A feature which will grab many peoples attention is the ability to switch the light on and off with a wave of the hand. This will be genuinely useful to stop dazzling people you meet while dog walking , fishing etc. but only works on full power.
Finally this light comes with a quite sturdy zip up case very similar to one sold as a $7 option with Fenix lights. This makes an ideal place to store the supplied USB to micro USB charging cable.
Though I may seem negative about this little light, you can tell I am a bit of a torch geek and it represents outstanding value and will be all most people will ever need.

I bought this headlamp for dog walking now that it doesn’t get light til after 7 am. It is super bright. One of our dog walking friends thought a bit too bright – I almost felt like Harry Potter walking round Hogwarts at night and being told by the ghosts ‘to put that light out’. So funny! Lesson, though, to be a bit mindful to have the lamp at a downward tilt when bumping into other people because the light is very bright. But when being on my own with our dog walking in the dark it’s super (I know as a woman I need to be mindful of safety of walking in the dark so just as a note I do walk where there is also some streetlight but sometimes on the far side of the canal where the path with the houses and lights is on the other side. And some old sodium type street lamps are not the brightest either. And from after 06:15 there are a number of other dog walkers out). Anyway, great product at a great price and the ability to switch the light of by moving the hand in front of it is very practical!

Wow what can I say. It has it’s own carrying case ideal for my rucksack. I can attach the case to the outside of my rucksack with my walk sticks.

I haven’t tested battery life yet but them main beam is bright enough to shine across a small field. The dim beam is a tad too bright though, if it was a bit dimmer this headtorch would be spot on apart from using the motion sensor at night…your hand flash bangs you everytime it swipes infront of the beam and you lose any night vision you’ve gained. The red light is a good enough alternative if you want to keep your night vision although the motion sensor doesn’t work with it! For 16 amazing though!

I bought this headtorch recently and have used it a few times since. It’s an excellent product. The light is very bright, it has several different modes (steady, flashing or red light) and two different brightness levels. The casing is also really practical and prevents the light from getting accidentally scratched. What I love most about it is that it can be switched on and off using simple hand gestures, without needing to click on the on/off buttons. The one small downside is that at times the light seems to switch itself off automatically based on the brightness level around it, but that’s not always convenient. Overall I definitely recommend buying this product though, it’s great.

Small it may be but I think it’s brighter than the head torch it’s replacing and the ‘gesture’ control is convenient and very easy to use. The hard case it comes in is great as I think my last head torch succumbed to ill treatment in the bottom of my toolbag.

I’ve had a few head torches over the years (mainly Petzl) but withe advent of greater choice thought I’d check the alternatives this time around. (Last Petzl one took a trip into a French campsite stand up toilet hole during a severe thunderstorm in Chamonix.don’t ask about the rest of the story!!).
So far this seems sturdy, simple to operate and good value for the money. Great little case too so nothing not to like here.

I do odd jobs and often work with trip switches off or in small spaces like cupboards, attics, under sinks. Seeing clearly to use a screw driver etc is often hard and this little head torch has changed that – used it all weekend in an attic and it exceeded expectation. Like the tilt feature and usually the normal light is enough (rather than bright). It can make your head sweaty with prolonged use and whatever you do, don’t look at the light….took me half an hour to see properly after I did by accident!

This head torch is excellent and having a rechargeable battery is superb. It also has several great features eg you can kill the light by passing your hand over the beam, it has adjustable angle so you can find the perfect angle. I use mine a lot when walking our dog in the dark. Great to have your hands free when doing those little jobs around the house. Just a great all round head torch excellent value too.

Bought this for night time dog walks primarily based on the product reviews. Well Its certainly lived up to expectations, the output is bright and clear, for such a small unit it’s very powerful. The battery life is great, i charged on the day it was delivered and have not needed to recharge yet. It’s quite lightweight which is ideal for a head torch and unlike some other head torches that I’ve used previously the light does not shine down from the reflector into your eyes.

Best head torch you can get from Amazon I think. Very very very bright for the size. When I got it I was a bit woried about it, becouse the size of LED is very small, but … booom … it over my expectasio

    Very bright little torch

Sensor light in garden broke and too old to climb ladder to replace bulb or complete fitting. Use this torch headlight when letting dog out in back garden last thing at night. My dog is a black terrior and I could not locate him in the garden. This light has changed this as it lights up my 60X15 ft. garden enough for me to see the whole garden and locate the dog. The sensor is workks quite well as soon as I turn to a solid object the light goes off, for my use i don not active the sensor the charge last a long time depending on usage. Good little produc

I bought this head lamp after reading lots of reviews of this and other products.
I have been really impressed with it, the light is nice and bright but you can have it on a slightly dimmer setting which is how I mostly have it, suitable for walking in town or putting the bins out!
It’s quite quick to charge and is reasonably light on your head. The little carry case is a bonus All in all a good purchase!

Great head torch which I bought for trail running at night. Very bright for the size and weight, and has lasted over an hour on full brightness on several outtings. Does feel a little fragile but is very lightweight. Looks like a very similar design to another head torch I bought about 2 years ago and it is still going strong. Let’s hope this one does the same. The extra brightness is definately noticeable while running the trails with only down side being the beam is quite concentrated in the middle for seeing things far away but would prefer if it had a little more spread and less distance for what my main use will be for. Overall great purchase and would highly recommend.

If like me you need to light up your route around a village without a single street lamp then this is the headtourch for you! It’s transformed my ability to handle two dogs safely whilst seeing where I’m going. A brilliant item that gives out a brilliant light!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe ease of use of a small head torch that doesn’t make you look like a Dalek and only has one head strap and no separate battery box around the back is good. And unlike most small head torches, this puts out a really good beam and you can turn it on and off hands free (or at least with your hand not touching the thing). It’s got an internal rechargeable battery too. Another plus point. I haven’t as yet given this a really good workout (thanks to Covid), so I can’t really comment on longevity or robustness, which knocks a star off at this time, but I’ve no reason to believe it won’t deliver.

Arrived quickly and required only a short charge so must already have been partially charged. Even the lower setting is easily bright enough to light up the trees at the bottom of our 60 garden. Haven’t had it long enough to check the run time but so far all is really good. Happy with this purchase

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersI use this primarily for winter morning and evening dog walks, but also for jobs in the loft, under stairs cupboard, and anywhere else a bit of hands-free illumination would be good.

First thing to say is that it is very bright on the highest setting. Very good for the great outdoors where the beam will reach quite far. Indoors, the brightest setting is sometimes too bright for a close work light, so I knock it down to the dimmer setting.

The recharge time is good, and the battery life on full brightness is acceptable given the power of the beam, and it’s good when you use the lower power mode.

The hands-free on/off does work, but it’s not something I use much. However if you have a use-case where you are going in and out of a dark area or need to regularly look at others without blinding then it would be useful. This is because the standard operation cycles through bright, less bright, flash, off. So if you need to regularly switch it off and on, the hands free mode would save clicking around.

This will fit most heads except the very largest, and it’s ok comfort-wise. The lack of an overhead strap means it does move down on the forehead if you run with it or shake your head vigorously.

The unit can be tilted and holds in place at the chosen angle with no issues, although a sudden quick movement can cause it to move sometimes, particularly if you break into a jog/run. The beam angle range goes from straight ahead to angles suitable for lighting up the ground in front of you.

The protective pouch is a nice touch, although I don’t use it for storage, just hang the torch up near the coats!

It’s done well so far and is saving a lot of money spent on batteries as I had to with previous headtorches I had.

I was surprised by how bright this was and how handy the “wave your hand” on/off switch would be – I considered it a gimmick when I bought it but after using a few times its very useful when you are going in/out of dark spaces like the loft without having to fiddle with the switch and press it 3 times. The strap is secure and adjustable but due to the light and battery both being in the unit at the front I think walking is fine but jogging may not be as comfortable after a while. I had another lamp with a 2nd strap that went over the top of the head and that was better as it didn’t need to be quite so tight but for my uses this one is fine and the light (even on lower setting) is far better. Recommended for use around the house/garden or walking the dog.

  81. Anonymous says:

It takes a little getting used to the wave shut off – if your head get’s too close to something, it can shut off the torch and leave you in darkness, I learned as I threw it on to hop up into the attic and came close to a beam. There is an option to have the torch on constant too so this isn’t a problem! It’s great and bright and fits well into the carry case. I’ve only used it a couple of times so I cannot comment on the battery life. Would recommend.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersBought for dog walking and it’s perfect. I can easily see where I am going and the ease of having both hands free when walking 3 dogs is a joy.
It is well made and very easy to use. I haven’t used the dim, flash or red modes whilst out, I only use on full power.
I have now used in all weathers – rain, snow and fog — it certainly changes visibility, as the light is so close to your eyes, but the option to angle down really helps. It fits around the outside of my coat hood which is a blessing as it turns itself off inside my hood. Water hasn’t affected it.
I charge after 3 walks as there isn’t enough charge to do 4. Charging is quite slow, about 3 hours, but this doesn’t matter to me.
The Lumens are correct – it is brighter than my mini Mag. With the angle I set it at I can see directly in front of me and clearly for at least 50 metres. It lights almost to the other side of the field. The beam angle is wide (4-5 metres either side).
I didn’t think I would use the sensor but it has been useful, especially when I stop to talk to someone as it allows me to wave in front of it to quickly turn off and not blind them.
I was initially worried about the strap being too tight and causing headaches, but it hasn’t as at. It is comfortable to wear and doesn’t slip or move.
    Can’t fault i

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGreat head torch for a very reasonable price! Comes in a great little case. Amazed at how bright it is from such a small unit! It has a hands free on off function which works most of the time but I did find it can turn off when working at close proximity to your work site! This function can be turned off so not an issue really! Other functions for the light beam, dim, flash and secondary red lights also which I guess would be great for runners and cyclists!
Overall really happy with this product!

After searching for one of these I opted for the Everbeam. This is a great piece of kit. I do DIY and it absolutely does a great job. Brightness is great and has a sensor to turn on or off. The battery life is good but could do with a little bit more life after the charge but firm for the price it’s great.

I bought one of these for walking the dogs early morning in the fields. It is absolutely superb. Very comfortable to wear and the strongest light is like a car headlamp. The tilt feature is brilliant as you can direct it straight ahead or down just in front of you. An added feature is the motion detect on/off which is on a separate button and is the brightest setting only.
It’s so good I bought another for my work, and another for my sons work. It’s difficult to comment on battery life except it seems good as it’s been used for nearly 2 weeks and not needed recharging.

I do a lot of Astrophotography which means I’m often wandering around hillsides and in fields at night. Last year I bought a super bright led torch which I thought was amazing. I’ve just been out with my new H6 and it utterly swamps the torch, makes it look like a halogen bulb from 30 years ago. The head torch is amazing on full brightness and it’s light. I was almost convinced by one of those head torches with 17 lamps and 38 different modes and are most likely heavy and cumbersome. This is crazy, blinding bright and light.

Ive had this head torch for a while now, I work as an electrician and use this daily. Its a great torch lighting up your working area very well, with several different settings. The battery has a good life between charges and does not take too long to fully charge.

Great customer service and good communications from the company, and would recommend buying this head torch.

This head torch had the added bonus of a low beam as well as a high beam plus a flashing light if required. The quality is very good, the brightness is also excellent, low beam sufficient for walking in semi lit areas. Good value, battery life not yet tested so scored high as I’ve only used it on a couple of occasions so far, it came charged which was also a bonus. No negatives so far, happy .

I bought this to assist me lumber my creaking frame around what I mockingly call my ‘runs’ around my neighbourhood which has more than a few uneven pavements which can be hard to see in the dark winter evenings. This seemed like a good option to minimise the trips and stumbles I was having.

The unit is lightweight, comes in a nice protective holder which also stores the usb charging cable. If anything, I thought the light was too bright and might dazzle motorists etc as I ran along pavements and crossed roads but I have been able to remedy this by angling the light at a more downward facing angle. The light stayed at my preferred angle without any problems.

The lights (two smaller red lights are also available) can be steady or flashing and overall, I am very pleased with this product. I have only had it a short while so cannot comment on the battery life but it charged quickly and there is no reason t suspect any problems at the moment.

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersVery pleased with this head torch.
Easy to charge with a usb cable and easy to operate. It has white light (3 settings – bright, medium, intermittent) and a red light (continuous and *intermittent (*I think). I have had this lamp 3 weeks and I use it on the white light (bright setting) only, for running in the early morning, so I haven’t worked out the full menu of options yet.
It has multiple settings worth exploring for anyone with special use requirement.
The lamp tilts so you can set the lamp at an angle and maximise the shadows on things on the ground to judge depth. I wear mone on my arm with the adjustable elastic headband it comes with however to avoid having to fiddle with the lamp’s tilt while I run.

The light os bright enough and one of the best I have had for the money. It works well and has not failed me yet. I use it daily.

Battery life wise, O am accustomed to getting ina nd putting it to charge on the usb cable straight away so i have not experienced it running out of battery. I have also noticed that the charge is also reflected as full very soon after I plug it to charge whixh is good as it seems to charge fully very quickly.

The only criticism I have is that the frame at the back of the lamp has two slots in which the headband is inserted. These slots allow for the headband to come off when the band is stretched a bit more than normal, like when it is passed over the head

Golden Review Award: 43 From Our UsersThe case is small, cute and easy to spot in a bag. USB chargeable so my portable charger will charge it up, bonus with kids ” borrowing” headtorch to play murder in the dark ( no actual murder took place, everyone involved was totally unharmed). The best feature is the no touch on
/off. Whoever thought of this is nothing less than a god/goddess, the kids also loved this feature.
Bright enough to blind those close to you, which made murder in the dark quite fun to watch.
Dim setting is comfortable to be able to still see things without blinding.
The flash setting is like a small disco emanating from your head.

I bought this for walking my dog in a dark lane where I live, I am amazed it lights up the whole lane. We have no street lights so it is very dark, I am very impressed. Only had this torch for a week but very impressed indeed. It will get used for a multiple of roles from day to day walking the dogs, Hill walking and also for my work abroad. From the spread/distance to the brightness of the beam to the multiple modes, it’s more than what you would expect for such a value for money head torch. It will get a more thorough work out when i head back to the middle east and so can’t comment the ruggedness of the unit but the clip to head band does look a bit flimsy (that’s my only and as of yet untested negative comment). I would certainly pay more for a Mark 2, more resilient next version of the Pro 6. Definitely worth the buy!

Golden Review Award: 100 From Our UsersI use a headlamp mainly for my work as an electrician. In fact I have several. One or two in my toolbox and one in the van. What I particularly like about this one over all the others is the bright light. And I mean “bright”. I have owned and used brighter head torches but in general it’s a trade off between brightness and weight. This one however is extremely lightweight and gives of ample light for my needs (650 lumens full brightness).
In addition it is usb chargeable which is a bonus. I also like the sensor on the light whereby one can turn off the light by passing a hand past the sensor and back on again with another pass of the hand.
In terms of value for money I am of the opinion it is good value and good build quality. In addition it comes with 2 year warranty upon registration.
If you need a good quality bright head torch I don’t think you will be disappointed with one of these.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersReally good head torch. The sensor mode works great, red light function is nice for late night/group camping with a powerful white light for more light at night. Seems nearly as powerful as the E5 plus handheld torch! Decent single strap adjustable headband and comfy fit, although I’m a tad concerned about the durability of the pivot mechanism over time, but at such a good price I don’t mind that. Untested out in a camping situation but would recommend nonetheless.
