    A great little explorer pack, that will keep a young child occupied for hours in the garden or out and about in the countryside! Good collection of items for the outdoor explorer and all pretty robust for the price its a great little gift, and a wee bit different.

    When I was just a wee nipper I used to collect butterflies and started with something similar to this and then added more expensive parts for my hobby as I went, nowadays butterflies seem a good bit rarer than back in the 60’s so I can’t really condone catching and killing butterflies anymore, however as an explorer kit for a child this really is terrific so I ordered it for my five year old grandson so that he can catch and study bugs before letting them go again.
    On opening, this set really does have it all to start any youngster on his or hers outdoor exploring interests and lets face it, it has to be something pretty interesting to get them off of their tablets and computers nowadays, lol.
    Everything in this kit is made from a fairly robust plastic but if mistreated some of the parts are going to break so this likely won’t last forever but before it ends up in the bin the kids will have all sorts of outdoors fun using this set.
    Included with this is an easy to use small tent which even my five year old can open and use. Along with that are some binoculars which aren’t the best but they work and are definitely good enough for a youngster. On the bug hunt side, this has an adjustable net, a bug container which also magnifies and several other tools suited to exploring although these do need to be explained to the very young.
    My grandsons favourite parts are the waistcoat, hat and tent, all of which he puts on and uses in the garden at every opportunity even in the rain and he absolutely loves it. My daughter tells me that the only problem has been getting him to take the jacket and hat off for bedtime, lol.
    Get the kids out of doors with this terrific little set.

    My 2yo son and his bestie (3/4) absolutely love this set.

    Really easy to set up and has everything the kids need for adventure and imaginary play.

    Cannot fault it.

    Would make a wonderful birthday present for any child who loves adventure and bugs!

    Also I’d keep an eye as a few bugs were made residence inside our home as the kids were very adamant they were sealed

    This set includes working exploration tools for little ones. The compass does work, the whistle is quiet but works. The tent pops up simply and can be folded away and stored. It is small- a small child could sit in it with a toy but there’s no room to lay down or stand up. The butterfly net and pole click lock together. It is lightweight and effective. The bug box with its opening lid, carry strap, magnifying telescope which manoeuvres to show the bug wherever it goes in the box is a good bit of kit. There are tongs, a clamp and a magnifying glass (which is plastic – everything is plastic) which can be hung using opening split rings from the explorer’s waistcoat. These split rings are certainly safe for little ones but are not that easy for little ones to use. I also doubt the longevity of the rings if they are popped open and closes often. The waistcoat and bucket hat are well made and the hat does work well against the sunshine. The torch requires 3 AAA batteries which are not included. The torch is an effective tool with three lighting options (see video). The kit has safety goggles and I literally have no idea why but they work. I think the tent could be improved by being bigger as it is probably ok for a 3year old but not older. Other than that I think this kit is very good for the asking price of 37.99.

    This is a great little camping set for children of about 5 and up.
    Younger children could use it but wouldn’t really understand all the accessories

    Everything is well made and should last thought lots of play

    My grandkids love it

    Quite expensive set at 39.99, however there are deals on this product (including now) and when they are you save a lot of money.

    This kit is perfect for the ultimate bug catching child, our almost 4 year old Granddaughter loves bugs and she loves catching them and nosing at them in her back yard!

    The age range for this toy is ages 3-10 and it includes tent x1, periscope x1, backpack x1, Insect box x1, clamp x1, detective vest x1, telescope x1, flashlight x1, tweezers x1, goggles x1, multifunctional whistle x1, magnifier glass x1, bug net x1, bucket hat x1.

    There is so much to do in this explorer set. Firstly a pop up tent which is easy to open and fold down. Along with this you get binoculars, hat, jacket, bug net, bug container, magnifying glass, periscope, torch light, and loads more. This came just in time for half term. It will keep the kids happy for hours, they can have a pic nik in the tent and have fun catching the bugs which fly over our pond and in the left to nature part of our garden which we have left to encourage wildlife. I love the waist coat jacket with all its pockets it looks just like a hunters or zoo keeper jacket. The hat will keep the sun off tiny faces. My granddaughter will love wearing the clothing and the older ones can help teach her about wildlife. A great set for keeping the kids happy and learning at the same time.

    Such a lot to do.

    Explorer kit suitable for children from 3 to 10 years. It is equipped with camping tent too which is amazing to play outside and why not have an experience in the woods.

    The kit proved to be a real hit for my 3 and 6 year olds.
    It stimulates the imagination of the little ones. The tent is large enough for them.

    The tools are so many!

    It has a bag to hold everything, very handy.

    This explorer kit kids toys gives a lot of fun, mostly for children between 3 and 10 years of age. What you will get in this set: tent x1, periscope x1, backpack x1, Insect box x1, clamp x1, detective vest x1, telescope x1, flashlight x1, tweezers x1, goggles x1, multifunctional whistle x1, magnifier glass x1, bug net x1, bucket hat x1. Has few lighting modes which when you press once to turn on, press twice to turn on the strobe of SOS and press it again to turn into a side light, which you can wear on your wrist. This is very exciting gift for kids. Tent is very easy to unfold and fold back and it is waterproof which is his really big advantage. With multipurpose periscope you will be able to see without being seen, this is really cool, plus that allows you to peek over walls, see around corners, see fishes in rivers, and look into rabbit and bird holes. Great value for money set and very good quality for a long time of use.

    Super explorer set. Have so many different items in it.
    The best set to explore nature.
    Have insect nets to catch butterflies, periscope to observe tree holes, insect box to observe insects and many mored different items in this set.
    Price is excellent to for such set.
    So surely can recommend it to all.

    I ordered this for my nephew, as he is going to a cabin in a forest for his holiday and we thought it would keep him busy. It comes with a SUPER CUTE hat and vest, which he loved putting on, and he really enjoyed carrying the kit around in the bag. It definitely keeps them interested and he feels like an explorer – exactly the intended purpose. Would definitely recommend for short breaks involving the woods or forests.

    I have been impressed with this set, and my nephew and niece have loved using it too. The set contains everything you need to set up an “adventure” in the outdoors from a simple, showerproof plastic pop up tent, a Periscope, a Backpack, an Insect box, a Clamp, a detective set, a Telescope, a Flashlight, Tweezers, Goggles, Multifunctional whistle, a Magnifier glass, a Bug net, along with a simple explorers vest and a Bucket hat. Each of the items are very well made and are quite robust too meaning hat hours of play and exploring can take place when using the set. For the price this offers great value and I would certainly recommend it!

    A great product for your kids to use as a mini camping trip or a play as a event. There is enough space provided for them to sit and move around in and is very durable with its waterproof feature. The setup is an easy process as everything you need is included and will make it a long use. This is highly recommend to parents that want to have kids out of their hair for a while as they can over view everything from the kitchen. Also the colour makes it standout which is a bonus to find after a while. All the materials for each aspect of this product are really high quality, comes well packaged and easy to store away once used. Also, easy to clean and does not allow stains to remain! Excellent overall, would definitely recommend.

    A brilliant exsplore set for children.

    There is a small tent and a detective vest, goggles and a hat.

    There is also a backpack to put all the other bits in such as a magnifying glass, bug net, binocular etc.

    The jacket is a good fit with room to grow for my nearly 3 year old.

    This is a fantastic set to get children outdoor and exploring and learning insets.

    Love this set, get the children outside.

    This is a good assortment of items to encourage youngsters to go outside and explore the great outdoors and hopefully ignite a love of nature, putting aside phones and games for at least a while. The items are pleasingly well made from good quality plastic or fabric and don’t be surprised that the box is fairly small – the tent is one of those types that fold up small and pings up and are always that enjoyable (?) conundrum when it comes to putting it away again.

    There is a lot going on and, although the tent is the largest item overall, the other bits and pieces are still likely to provide long term entertainment and are sufficiently well made to last to be used by younger siblings.

    It would make a good gift to children or grandchildren with activities over the summer holidays in mind

    This set is really good at encouraging young children ‘s interest in nature, both plants and animals. The binoculars, torch and periscope are ideal for little hands and the insect net and magnifying container gives lots of learning and fun. Our granddaughter found the tent quite small, its OK for 3-6 year olds but a slightly larger one would extend the set’s usefulness. However, she loved the kit overall, including the ‘vest’ and hat, and we have examined many flowers and plants and also ants, beetles and various other creepy-crawlies (supervision needed, of course, in case of poisonous or stinging plants/creatures). The set is fairly expensive but quite good value, especially as it is good for a couple of children to share as they can bug-hunt together and compare each other’s finds.

    This it is a a lovely set although cannot help feeling it would be better if planned for two. Donning the vest, the hat and goggles goggles then packing what they need in the back packs great fun and there was a lot of giggles Putting the tent up too was easy and good fun. The children were ready to look for insects. Using the magnifying glass to look in tree holes and the net to catch insects and we did get a good collection. Children will love it. Cannot wait for the summer holidays as we will have many good days do it. Today was rather rushed was we caught them on their way home from school

    A really brilliant explorer kit that comes very well presented in a lovely large box. This would make an ideal gift and my five year old was super happy with it. The tent is very small but other than that all the items inside my son has had a great time using and exploring with.

    This set would be ideal for any child aged between 3 and 6/7 and is great for encouraging children to play outside and explore the world around them
