The built in cable with storage makes for a very neat install. This is a true plug and play device.
I use this with my windows 10 laptop and it works like a dream. If laptop hasn’t picked it up for any reason a simple restart solves the problem. Tried with both usb-3 and usb-c ports.

De la grabacin no puedo opinar, porque no la uso. Para la visualizacin en pc recomiendo el programa gratuito Leawo Blu_ray Player, ya que otros como el VLC necesitan archivos, para el blu-ray que habr que buscar en internet.

Had to return this item back due to it got damaged in transit however it was despatched another one which then worked fully and now happy with it. Works perfectly.
I was extremely doubtful when I ordered this Blu Ray reader. I was worried about compatibly and whether my fairly old i3 HP laptop would be able to support it.
But on connecting it and downloading the Power DVD program, everything else was easy … Especially as I am not very computer savvy..
But I’m very happy… Excellent product.

Se nota fiable, lee todo lo que le pongas y es compatible con varios programas gratuitos. Con el lector Music de Apple se entiende muy bien. El nico pero que le pongo es que es un tanto ruidoso.

iMac and MacBook Pro would not recognise blu ray dvd in drive – kept saying permission issues . This appears to be a issue with the software I am using and not the drive .
I needed a replacement BluRay drive for backups to disks of various sizes for work, as well having the option to play movies. No software is provided with the drive, but I already had the software to work with the other drive, so I just had to plug and play with my data writing and bluray playing applications in Windows 10.
so far no problems and its fast and perfect for watching blu ray discs on laptop.
Had a problem initially with the drive not playing certain items on the Blu Ray menu so got in touch with customer support who replaced the drive without any fuss. Works like a dream now. Impressive!
The build quality of this external drive is way better than I expected – a solid metal top and bottom with a plastic inner shell should enable the drive to last.
This drive is perfect for ripping standard dvd and bluray disks. It won’t recognise UHD disks but then again it doesn’t claim to be able to.
Personally, I’m very happy with the item and it does exactly what I need it to do.
However, I think something is fishy about the drive – it claims to be an LG drive but inside it is clearly not. I suspect its a cheaper drive that has been flashed with LG firmware (just a theory on my part as i have no conclusive proof either way) but honestly, I don’t personally care as it works well and for the circa 60 I paid for it I think it’s very good value for money.
Very short cables make this hard to use with under desk PC’s

Really easy to use. If you have a USB c port on your pc/ laptop you don’t even need to plug it into the mains as the c port will power it.
This works perfectly as a simple plug and play device. With the correct software you can watch or copy Blu-Ray films and listen to high quality music

I only had one BLuray disc to test the system on a windows machine. VLC gave me problems which were not resolved by the suggested actions. I downloaded Powerdvd that gave a stuttering unwatchable result. I awaited the arrival of a second disc in case it was the disc at fault. It arrived. No difference. then I downloaded AIseesoft blu-ray player. Plays like a dream. No problem with the discs or the player. Only the software I had used. Maybe you would have more luck. I have a lot of software on the system so it might have interfered with the others but all I want to do is watch BLu-ray discs. This is enough. Good value.
Although there was no software (so despite owning a Window 10 Personal Computer, this drive would not work or recognise a new BluRay disk) I downloaded PowerDVD from CyberLink on free trial which enabled me to use it. The item is good quality and delivery was fast.
Was abit hesitant to purchase as I have seen people struggling with Surface Pro’s but i went ahead and bought one it works perfect with my Surface Pro 8 running on Windows 11

I bought it in order to back up lots of photos on MDisc. Using Imgburn, this went veryt smoothly first time.

The blu ray works great for my daughter to watch DVDS, and also gives us a chance to watch our wedding video recorded 10 years ago.
Honestly this is the easiest set up you can ever ask for. All you do is plug it into the USB port of your computer and it plays. It’s so compact and portable. This came in handy when I played movies in my class!
Works looks great… The design of the drive is nice as it’s metal… The drive is very easy to use with either USB c or USB 3.0… it did come with a extra power cord to assist in powering the drive if the computer does not have enough power to power the drive.
I use my laptop mainly for entertainment, so being able to use Blu-ray and DVD is a big advantage. The drive is small and takes up almost no space in the laptop case.
