Great idea to avoid messy BBQ cleaning. Used to high heat with great results. You can wash them but black burnt bits don’t break down in dish washer. Great price so I keep ordering. Disposed in general waste.
So good, put them on my bbq to cook food through and then onto the side without one on to get the lines and that bbq taste you want. Made it so much easier to clean bbq grill after. 100% recommend this product.

These mats are a game changer, easy to use, no fuss no mess. We even used our BBQ to do cook our Sunday brunch. This photo is last nights meal sticky spiced chicken fillets done to perfection, Saturday we cooked sea bass and it was delicious.
These are fantastic mats. They keep most of the grill clean and save from having to scrub the grill constantly.
I use 2 at a time to cover the whole grill.
They are ok to clean, but you need to remove the excess fat and burnt pieces before cleaning to make it easier.
Recommended to use and reduce the bbq cleaning issues. Strong material and has lasted a few bbqs already. Retains the heat and lays flat. Easy to clean after use. Would recommend and buy again.

It’s a good thing, but would recommend to use it one at time only , instead of reusing it again and again.
These matts are brilliant for the barbecue, a complete game changer when it comes to cleaning up afterwards. So much easier than having to clean the grills. Food cook’s really well on them and then I wash in hot soapy water for a few minutes and dry. BBQ still looks brand new, would definitely recommend these.

Just bought a new Gas2coal BBQ which is brilliant so I saw these, read the reviews and decided to try them out. Amazing how they stop grease/fat dropping into the coals so makes cleaning far easier. No loss in performance of the BBQ and they wipe clean. Not sure how many times you should use them but Id say after half a dozen or so goes you’ve had pretty good value so probably swap them after that??

After using a mat like this while on a Forest Holiday break. I decided to invest in some for myself. 2 of the mats laid side by side covered the grilling area. I didn’t need to worry about slices of Halloumi slipping through the grid.

Oh my goodness where have these beauties been all my bbq life!! Easy to use and boy do they save on cleaning the BBQ too! My only tip is, watch the fat level whilst cooking, as this can cause big flames, fire! once aware of this, I mopped up excessive juices and there wasn’t a problem. Great to use with any food choice too!

I put these on the bottom of the oven to catch any spills, perfect and easy to clean.
I was surprised when these arrived because they are a lot thicker than i expected and you get about 5 in the box too. If the weather had been better i would have used them more, they wash very easily.
I bought a relatively cheap 4 burner BBQ and found that it cooked really badly, hotspots, cool spots and trying to get a decent result even for a burger was almost impossible. I tried a couple of different products for the BBQ before this one, none really worked, a couple just burnt or melted. This was my last attempt – should have been the first – produced a really good grilling surface.
Bought these earlier in the year for 9.99, which given the product is so good, they are well worth the money.
However bagged myself a bargain for 4.99, will put them away, ready for BBQ weather next year.

Yes, you can fry an egg on a BBQ if you use these non-stick mats. Of course you can also cook all the other things you would usually use the BBQ for, but the grill doesn’t get bits stuck on, fat doesn’t drip and flare. Everything browns as usual and it’s controllable. Washes really easily. I didn’t believe it would work – but it does. Tip…. if you do cook an egg make sure the BBQ is level, or the egg will run everywhere. Seriously – a surprisingly good produc

Very practical, works perfectly well but the downside is that it stops the meat not just from burning but also getting the lovely smokey flavours from the charcoal fire.
Great replacement for tin foil trays. Use many times instead of throwing in the bin after one use like trays.
No burn marks on meat, good taste and food looks better.

I usually then just move whatever I’m cooking back to the grate for the extra flavour at the end. These really work well although after a couple of uses they are very difficult to clean so I usually just replace them.

I bought these not really knowing what to expect, used them for the first time barbecuing for a large number of people, the food cooked really well and they cleaned easily after use. I was able to cook smaller bits of food, chicken strips etc, without them disappearing through the grill bars. A good bit of kit. I would suggest non metal utensils for cooking
Brilliant non stick matts, they work great on my gas bbq for cooking fish, flavour of the food was not tarnished by the matt, very easy to clean too
Worked really well on a gas BBQ for 2+ hours of cooking, burgers, sausages and kebabs. The mats cooked the food perfectly and I had not one single flare-up. All that was required was a quick mop-up of fat/ oil between cooking batches of food. Used plastic and metal utensils, the mats did not disintegrate or rip in anyway and will be perfectly fine for use on the BBQ again.
Bought these to use on our Weber gas bbq after reading good reviews and I’m not disappointed. I’ve cooked chicken thighs, fish and halloumi cheese without any fuss or mess. Once cooled, the mat is then very easy to clean. Excellent addition to the bbq. I’ve also given them to friends to try. Would definitely recommend.

Used these twice so far and would definitely recommend, yes you do get fat sitting on them but nothing a bit of kitchen roll wont mop up (just be careful as very hot). Found them easy to clean.
Amazing product. Cleaning out the BBQ is a chore. I have used a BBQ 10 times with these mats and not had to clean anything on it. Total time saver. Another plus is you can lay the food out on the mat how you want it and then slide the whole mat onto the grill plates. The food looses a bit of the char element you get in BBQ but I’ve had no complaints and it’s worth it. 5 stars from me.
Bbq season started and after the first one I thought I will try one of these mats. The reviews were good that’s why I bought these ones. Used them for the first time last weekend I was impressed. The food did not stick to it if anything it tempered the cooking taking the fierce ness of bbq flames away. Afterwards cleaning was easy with soapy water and a nylon brush – ready for the next time. It’s inexpensive and obviously each mat will do a few bbqs. I gave it 5 stars for flavour!! I didn’t eat it but the food was good!!!

These came well packed and are ready to use they are very easy to use and are a sturdy strong piece of material though I found they made the cooking take twice as long and it was lacking the barbeque flavour

Please ignore my previous review. “Not fit for purpose”. I mistook the mat surface for the burnt on marinade. When I cleaned the mat it had no damage at all. My apologies.
Love these, I use them on the bbq. They save a hell of a lot of cleaning time (very little cleaning required on the bbq because of these),. They do not taint the flavour of the food in any way, and they are relatively easy to clean.

Easy to use and makes cooking food easier with no loss through the grated of the bbq. Allows meat to cook in its own juices. Cleaning reasonably easy but depends what’s been cooked and for how long. Certainly easier than cleaning the bbq. Keeps the food hot.
At this price you get 5 mats which is about 1 each. If you want my advice just look to using one mat per bbq and throw it away. Don’t wast time trying to scrimp and wash it. No matter what the reviews say if this gets to hot it will just crimble and dry out and loose a lot of its qualities. If like most people you have splurged out a reasonable amount on a decent bbq spending an extra quid or so per bbq mat is nothing. Ease of use is good and it does keep the flames away form the meat. I cooked a 2kg Rump joint and then cut it into steaks, it was perfect. BUT be very careful if the oils run off the mat onto the bbq it will flare up so don’t think of the mat as some sort of safety device to stand closer to the bbq it isn’t.
I searched for a silicon mat for baking use. This is an excellent item – I’ve baked cookies & roasted veg on it so far. The price is good. The colour works well too – I don’t need circles to show where batter goes & the black colour won’t show stains etc
bought these yo use in my kitchen grill/oven instead of tin foil…less waste etc. So far have found them a great alternative! Catches all the fat/juices from bacon and chicken. Cooked great hallumi fries on it last night too. Once cooled just wash it with the dishes and job done.
Using the mat gives more flexibility with what can be cooked on the open grill BBQ eg stir fry veg. The mats can be easily cut to size required which adds to their convenience. So easy to clean. I love it.
These mats are fantastic. We’ve now used 3 of them and they have saved us hours of cleaning on our BBQ. Wish I’d known about them sooner and I intend to use them in my oven as well! We’ve washed them in soapy water and also out them through the dishwasher.
Saw these mats and viewed them with a degree of scepticism .Thought at the price i’d give them a go and i can honestly say that they are amazing.The food cooked beautifully and browned off a treat and best of all these mats clean up with a gentle wipe off with soapy water.
If you think of Donald Trump x 10 then that’s a guide of how nothing sticks to these.

Didn’t withstand the heat as we thought some damage caused on mats
They were also very easy to clean. The grill side is now slightly discoloured and has the pattern of the grill on it, but that’s to be expected. I am looking forward to cooking more on these mats. Highly recommended!
We opted for these mats as our bbq grates were a little old and couldn’t find replacements grates to fit. This mats are fantastic, our food was so tasty and it allowed for the marinades to cook beautifully. So easy to clean. Have recommended to lots of friends! So glad I didn’t spend money on a new bbq!!

If these last a few months longer than the crap sheets that I had from my local ‘Betterware doormat catalogue dealer ‘ I had delivered I’ll be happy. The Betterware man told me to ‘trust him on his products’ I believed him, he lied , their sheets started to fall apart after a few uses, they were tearing apart all over the place. I was back to chucking my baking trays in bin until I stumbled across these bad boy sheets. Hopefully they stand the test of time, if not as Arnie said ‘I’ll be back’

i was fed up of my veg and cheese and small items falling through the grill on the bbq and this is perfect. I’ve cooked halloumi and roasted veg and its tasted great and more importantly – i didnt lose any of it!
My son even cooked marshamallows on it and the stuck on bits washed off easily
Brilliant wish I’d bought these years ago, great to stop the meat falling through the bars and also keeping them clean. Food tastes just the same and I’ve used one of them 4 times now on a gas BBQ and I’m very pleased. If any grease sticks to the mat I just soak it in warm washing up water for a short while, then it just brushes off.
I’d tried the fiberglass mats before this one and it broke up and burned, so wanted to try a different one. I was worried you won’t get the same ribbed bbq effect on the food, but you do and it actually helps to reduce hotspots so cooks more easily. Cleaning was very easy and looks brand new once through the dishwasher. Would definitely recommend.
Wasn’t sure about this product, but thought I would try it to save using lots of elbow grease to clean the bbq. It worked a treat. Cools really quickly, so can manage to get off the bbq and into the sink for cleaning. Rolls back up for storage until the next time. Would recommend.
I’ve used these as baking sheets in the oven, fab for biscuits, simply wipe clean & re use. I have also cut one to live a round cake tin it will save me keep buying grease proof paper. Very thick so even food at very high temperatures doesn’t stick
When I finished with them I simply toom them off the BBQ and washed them using hot soapy water.
These are a life saver.
Best decision I’ve made on an impulse. The heat is now evenly distributed across the grill. Its thin enough I still get the grill marks and it’s so easy to clean. Top shelf of dishwasher and done.
The matts are a good size for oven cooking too. They are about the size of an average oven tray.
No issues with deformation at high heats.

Used this mat initially in my oven to cook homemade beef burgers under the grill (250 degrees) & homemade oven chips (200 degrees). None of the food stuck and the mats were very easy to clean, just wipes off with hot soapy water. Due to use on the BBQ this week & expect it to perform as good as in the oven!
We had a BBQ yesterday and used one of these on an electric barbecue and they are amazing there was little cleaning required of the barbecue which usually needs stripping down to clean. I will most definitely recommend these and now be having a bbq more often.
My bakery expert daughter who spends more time furnishing our taste buds with all sorts of culinary wonders…Recently put these mats to the test with some home made cookies and the verdict was brilliant…non stick, easy to clean and durable…The next test will be the Barbecue
I used these for the first time last night and couldn’t have been more pleased. I used them on a Weber Electric BBQ and one of them fitted perfectly over the whole BBQ space meaning that I had the ability to use the whole of the two grill plates with no fear of food falling through. They also look as thought they will be perfect for fish so that is tonight’s mission. The chicken last night cooked perfectly and remained moist and flavourful. There was no mess at all on my BBQ grill plates and the mat went in the dishwasher and came out perfectly.
There were five mats in the pack so great value for money, such so that I intend to buy another pack so that I have plenty of spares however, each mat looks as though it will last a fair time. Hopefully the days of messy BBQs are behind me!
Then after cleaning the mat tried cooking burgers as I always have had problems with them sticking on the bars, unfortunately I found the mat to be below par, because of the fat content in burgers it came too much for the mat and the fat swimming around on it caused lots of smoke and I had to abandon the mat and go back to being directly onto the bars with the burgers.
To sum up, don’t try cooking on the mat with anything that has a high fat content, but for everything else ie fish or veg / onions etc etc.
