Been a while since I used an F1 game as they don’t change much each year.
I’ve just built a simulator and am trying all racing titles on pc and ps5. This is excellent on a technical level. I wouldn’t say it’s jaw dropping to look at, and on ps5 with a 120hz display it definitely can only hold 60 or less, but it is pretty good in the handling department.
It’s not as realistic as assetto corsa or iracing but it’s a pretty enjoyable experience.
Mainly because of the rewind button. This allows you to make up for your mistakes. So if you crash out or you accidentally damage your car. You are able to go back a certain amount and correct yours (or others mistake). This means you can make the game harder for yourself by allowing damage, harder steering etc..
The game has some great modes. From single career to storyline to formula 2 .
With career. You can start as a formula 1 or formula 2 driver and work yourself up. Which is really enjoyable. And I think this has been a part of f1 games for a while.
Storyline mode. Was really engaging. You are the the young upcoming driver teamed up with the fading experienced driver. Think something along the lines of Hamilton and Alonso. You are Hamilton and your partner is Alonso. This is a shorter season then the career mode and gives you short stints of it with the added career and drama of the story.
Multiple player is great and fun. Enjoy the game with your mates or family in split screen
The only issue is that it is difficult to get the ai difficulty to a good place from being to easy to to hard. You have 0 to 151 (if I can remember correct) difficulty range. And sometimes if you go up by one or down by 1 it can make the difference by losing easily or winning with your eyes closed.
Also to add the ps5 controller adds so much more to this game. The vibrations are amazingly in syn. The built in microphone is used by your team sending you radio instructions when driving. Best ps5 game thus far.
This really is a fun game I enjoy even though I am terrible at it.
I am really bad at this game, can’t make it beyond the initial few races of the main story. Nevertheless I very much like to play it and I’m drawn to it constantly while I notice gradual improvement. Moreover I think it’s a decent simulation of F1 racing. The trick is to time and blend your brake and off-gas moments so that you keep enough speed and follow the most efficient path over each track. At least that’s what I think. It’s really a tricky game that requires skill, talent and strategy once you get more advanced.
I typically only play open world action /adventure games like Assassins Creed and have very little time for anything else. And it had been over a decade since I played my last F1 racing games, that highly enjoyable but still on my PSP.. While looking for a few additional games to pick up for our PS5 I got intrigued by this game, also because within the family some of us are increasingly fascinated by the F1 racing championship. This game learns the children quite a bit about car racing although it is a very different level of excitement than what they are used to in their Switch Based Mario Kart Deluxe.
So I am quite pleased with this game and would recommend it. The graphics and fluidity over movement is quite good. You still know that you are playing a game in a digital surrounding but its comes close, a sensation that is enhanced by the sound.
Online multiplayer is still as unintuitive as ever (why do they make it so hard to join lobbies and play with friends on these F1 games?!) but besides that it’s a lot of fun. The Breaking Point story mode is brillia
Overall a great addition to the F1 series. There’s a smaller learning curve for casuals. They trimmed the game down in various ways, like shortening the Practice Programmes to make offline modes feel less grindy. There’s a bigger learning curve for the more experienced because of the difficult curbs. It highlights my need for a wheel. I can achieve competitive times with a controller but margins for error are smaller than ever so I think you need a wheel to get the most out of this game.
From what I’ve played of it so far I am enjoying it. Having not played last year’s F1 game (the last one I played was F1 2019) I can’t say if My Team has improved from last year but I am enjoying playing that particular game mode at the moment. As for online multiplayer I’ve only done one race so far with friends and it’s relatively easy to setup and have a quick race or two.
Gameplay wise it is an improvement from F1 2019. Only drawback I’d say is if like me you like to attack the kerbs they’re a bit more aggressive than in previous games and will catch you out and you very well can end up in a spin either into the wall or into a gravel trap/on the grass and taking your front wing off. Apart from that one drawback that will take some getting used to but as I previously said it is an enjoyable game
Brilliant, great improvement on all the other F1 games. Set to easy and even my 8 year old could play. Cars stick to the tracks, amazing graphics and a fun story mode. Very happy !!
What I thought was the game crashing every time I played it, ended up being on every game I played. So now the Ps5 is going back due to there being a fault with it. From what I managed to play of the game, quite good.

Great game, essential for any F1 fan.
Can be made as easy or as difficult as you want.
Using an UHD Sony Bravia TV and it looks sublime.
I really enjoy this game.

Me and my son enjoy playing this game split screen. Best F1 game on the Playstation… not quite as fun as some retro games though on Amiga!!!!
Habe dieses Spiel verschenkt , habe es aber auch selber SPITZENGUT
1st game i got for my PS 5. Great fun and easy to play.
Ordered one day delivered the next and started playing. Fantastic
My son has been playing it constantly ever since Santa Amazon delivered.
Fantastic game at the end of the season, at a cheaper price than anywhere else
Bought this as a Christmas present for teenage son who is F1 daft. He loves it. Graphics are amazing and so life like!
The game arrived on time and in a good condition, it is also an excellent game to play.
Die Lieferung erfolgte schnell und unkompliziert. Das Spiel war super eingepackt und wies beim Auspacken keinerlei Schden auf. Gerne wieder.

Best F1 game ever! PS5 graffics are unbelievable. Would defo recommend a steering wheel and pedals for better gaming experience
As a big F1 fan, had to get this – and it didn’t disappoint – what a superb game, and a realistic depiction of one of my favourite sports.
Game is great especially 2 player career mode but the glitches in that mode are yet to be patched and need fixing.

Really good game story mode is a nice addition, as a F1 fan this is a definite buy.
he game is a joy the cars stick to the tracks like glue when you get a wet track thats when the game is so good
