The instructions are not clear particularly which way up the side panels go (the ledge end goes at the bottom) and how to put top opening panels and centre strut. Had to try many options before getting it correct.

It look great, perhaps needs another lick of paint.

But happy, it’s looks good too

Although made with fairly lightweight wood, it is quite sturdy. I did take the manufacturer’s advice and applied a coat of wood preservative ( before assembly). Assembly instructions were ok, the various screws etc. were packed in separate small marked bags so are easily identified. It was simple to put together and can be done single handed. Make sure the side panels are the correct way round. The “lip” must be at the bottom facing inwards so that the bottom shelf rests on it. All in all I am very pleased with this purchase and consider it very good value for money…….

Excellent delivery, well packaged, easy for 1 person to assemble. As this cold frame is made from soft wood I decided to beef up the construction by fixing extra batons to the back and under the shelves before painting the whole thing with Cuprinol urban slate exterior wood paint for longevity. The wall fixing supplied are rather flimsy so used my own. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed putting this product together, it is of good design with clear assembly instruction and will hopefully last a good few years with proper care.

Easy to assemble, good colour, great dimensions, looks great in small garden with awkward space. Hoping it will stand up well to British climate. dditional stand would be great, made my own on wheels.

It’s always a gamble buying something like this off the internet but first impressions from the quality of the packaging, the instructions and fixings and the ease of assembly (using screws supplied) are pretty good. Unlike others that are much cheaper this one doesn’t look like it’s going to fall to pieces in a strong wind. Fixings are also supplied that enable it to be screwed to a wall. The instructions recommend that a further coat of water based preservative be applied to the wood (which is soft-wood) as soon as possible with further preservative being applied as and when needed.
All in all I am pleased with the product and hope for a good few years service from it.

Like: Nice size, shape. Arrived as per schedule date.
Didn’t like: the fact that the instructions say it needs repainting or varnishing. This might have been written in the description, but if it did, I didn’t see it. I have varnished it, but it was a pain to have to do so.
Didn’t like: that the doors could do with a handle. I am going to get two handles and add them myself.
Otherwise, it is a nice little greenhouse which I will use and enjoy.
