This is such a sturdy well-made desk frame – the memory settings are great! It’s transformed the way I work.
I’ve been using this for many weeks now, and so far very pleased with it. The quality of the build seems good – and certainly very much better than I was expecting for the price. The single motor seems more than strong enough for the smaller size but quite heavy table top I’ve fitted. It’s all worked well, and as advertised, so far.
This just a great product at a very competitive price. Yes, you need to assemble it, but the instructions are clear and all the tools you need are provided. It literally took me less than 30 minutes to completely assemble the unit. It is very sturdy and doesn’t wobble, even with dual monitors and other work paraphernalia on the desktop.. While you can buy the regular desktop panel, I needed a custom size to fit in a particular space. So I simply bought a piece of kitchen worktop, which was easily fastened to the unit. There are two presets so you can easily move between your preferred sitting and standing positions. You can also obviously manually move it to any position you want.
All in all, great quality and a really great price. I’d recommend it wholeheartedly.
Very impressive unit. Most of the metal is 4mm thick so very solid. It is not suitable for anyone below 180cm.
The lowest position of 71cm requires me at 180cm height to lift my arms during office work. Its about 5cm to height. So unless you plan to have a treadmill below it instead of a office chair, its not suitable.
But can’t blame the company as I could have found out before so I am still giving 5 stars.
Good news is the same company has a unit that goes from 60-125 cm with a even higher load capacity of 125kg but higher minimum width o 100cm:

I bought both the Flexspot frame and the corresponding 120 cm desktop – it’s the smallest sit/stand desk I could find. It took a long time to arrive but the seller let me know this from the start which I thought was very helpful. The frame was easy to put together and matched the predrilled holes in the desktop perfectly. A small screw was missing but the seller was really good about sorting it for me. The desk now feels very sturdy and is easy to change from the sitting to standing heights.
Working from home for the most of this year I felt it was time to invest in a quality desk that offers the flexibility of sit to stand working to support good posture having start to experience some back pain. I’m so happy with my decision to go with the flexispot desk. The mechanism to adjust the height is smooth, quick and even at the highest setting the sturdiness of the desk is not compromised. Despite only using it for a few days so far I’ve already noticed and improvement in my posture with no more aches at the end of the day. Added to that it’s sleek and stylish design fits perfectly in my home. Very happy and would recommend to anyone considering purchasing this desk.
I was sceptical about the quality of the product when purchasing due to it being significantly cheaper than alternative products online. That said, as soon as I received the product and set it up it was clear that there was no need for such concern.
The product is high quality, looks great and does the job perfectly.
I bought it with the FLEXISPOT Desk Top.
Very well done and easy to assemble.
It performs all the functionalities I was hoping for.
The range is perfect to use with an under desk treadmill
The desk frame comes well packed and with good instructions for assembly. Be prepared that it is heavy to carry, which is down to the construction. (Anything lighter than this might be on the flimsy side once assembled). Assembly is easy, all tools are provided except those you need to fit a table top on the frame. For this you’ll need a drill and screw driver. The desk frame is easy to adapt to tabletops of different sizes. You will need to buy the table tops separately. The programmable hight settings make it very easy to switch between different sitting and standing positions. The feet are good for a solid stand on hard floors without scratching them (rubber plates). I got some PTFE furniture sliders of 65mm diameter and the entire table is easy to move on my carpet.
Love it. I have 5 screens so quite a bit of weight on the table but it is very sturdy. I just press a button and it goes to my pre-set height. I am 6″1′ and there is still another 10cm/4inch to max height.
Saved loads just need work top for your needs and your away saved 300
Pros:
A top-notch sit/stand, very sturdy and manufactured to the highest standards, easy to assemble, has all features I needed.
Cons:
This is of a little importance but for a product in this price-range, I would expect instruction manual to be written in a way that doesn’t leave any room for doubts.
Anyway, after assembleling furniture for the whole house (made by IKEA and other vendors), the instruction is still easy to follow and pretty intuitive.
Delivery:
It almost arrived on-time and the delay been positively sorted out with a quick call to courier company so I’m happy with that (we’re all humans after all).
Overall:
I still give it a 10/10. I’m so happy I purchased it and I highly recommend it.
Much better for my neck, standing up. And if you get tired legs, you can lower it very easily and sit down. Nice, heavy and consequently, sturdy legs take a lot of kit on the desk. Goes up and down a treat. Brilliant!
Make sure to watch a YouTube video showing how to assemble it before you start because the instructions are very poor (Chinese translated to bad english). Nearly lost my mind trying to put it together but it was absolute worth it because it’s an incredible desk! Life changing for those with back problems!!!
I already had a solid wood Gerton desk from IKEA but assembling the frame was very easy and simple to do. Good instructions. One the frame was up and desk screwed on, it was a bit heavy to manoeuvre into place but that is to be expected as it needs to be sturdy. Very pleased with it, the functionality is superior to that of the IKEA standing desk as you can programme height settings into this thing and press the button once to go back to your chosen height. You really can’t ask anymore of a standing desk. Very happy customer.
After a lot of research and reviews, bought this desk (and the top separately as Flexispot have a greater range when ordering the top separately)
Took about 40mins to assemble (one person assembly), had no issues with the instructions.
The desk is well made, with a smooth operation and three memory options. Highly recommended.
Excellent standing desk, sturdy, stable and easy to assemble. Beautiful design as well.
legs were super easily attached to current table, simple and effective, great product. took about 30 min and now have a standing / sitting desk with 3 programmed heights (sitting, standing typing, standing on calls)
I need to purchase a new table top as the current / old ikea table (5cm thick) is a little too high for my standard office chair when seated, purchasing 3cm thick table top that is heavier
table wobbles when typing stood up, I think this is due to the super light ikea table that is elevated, hope that this will stop when I get the new table top that is much heavier (and also doesn’t have its own legs still)
Fantastic piece of equipment, strong, easy to assemble and use. No movement when using in lower position, some movement in fully extended position due to leg design (one either side rather than two), but this is to be expected. Certainly helping whilst working from home so I’m not sitting all of the time. Would recommend.
I wanted to give it a few weeks of using this before I wrote a review, just to make sure everything was right. In reality, I should have written sooner.
I used to work from home 1 day a week but for obvious reasons, that’s now up to 5 days a week like many other people. Before swapping to the stand up desk I was finishing work with aches in my neck and lower back, partly because I wasn’t moving enough and partly due to sitting down for hours on end. I opted to have a stand up desk rather than invest in a new chair, using my existing Ikea desktop. What a difference this has made to my working day and well being, alternating between sitting down (no longer than an hour with the built in timer) gives me more energy while ridding any aches and pains I had.
Assembly is easy out of the box, the instructions are clear and easy to follow. The frame is solid so some people may need a helping hand to swing it round once it’s all together to save any scrapes to the wall or yourself.
It works really well and looks good in the corner of my spare room. It was easy to put up. I did have a minor issue and called customer services several times throughout one day, (don’t ever bother doing this) but then I tried the live chat on the FlexiSpot website and they helped me sort it straight away. Would definitely recommend.
Put it together today, about 15 mins to assemble and screw on the worktop. All the screws/tools come labelled A to G in separate compartments in a plastic strip so very simple. Once together the frame is rock solid and the motor is so much quieter than previous desks Ive had. Very impressed.
This is a high-quality product! The 1st product that was sent had a defect, but they replaced it for free.
Like the controls too. Great price for what it is.
Very well built, easy to assemble, very sturdy. Motor operation is also quiet.
Fairly straight forward to build. Very sturdy, very quiet to operate, easy to raise and lower using memory buttons. Wife working from home has bad back sitting all day. This has transformed her working day! She rates it 10/10.
Easy to follow assembly instructions. To save money I purchased the unit without the top then got a top from IKEA
Very pleased with my flexispot desk. Been using it for working from home for last couple months. Stable with 2 monitors & laptop (I’m 6ft tall), and 3 pre-set heights very useful. Fitted an ikea Bekant top (75) as it has well rounded corners. Lost a rating star on assembly as B&W instructions make it difficult to see where the screws go. Actually you can put the transformer and buttons anywhere (within the cable reach), so think about where your wall plugs are. Overall good saving from other choices.
Just got the desk set up, black model with one motor frame. Build quality is good and desk looks sleek.
Seems like it should be a solid purchase, just to early to tell in terms of reliability.
Overall happy with the buy
Very stable and quite silent, it lifts and lowers gently.
Quite easy to mount .
Very good produc
A perfect solution for the need for a stand up desk. I managed to reuse an existing top from a table I had earlier. You can set any height for the table using the arrow keys. Motor is not very loud. You can listen to the video to know the sound when it moves up or down. Overall happy with the purchase.
I have been using this for a couple of months now and i am very impressed. With many of us being forced to work from home in the current crisis i decided to invest in a desk similar to the one i have at the office. This one is just as good if not better than the office one.
Even when fully raised it is very sturdy and stable even on carpet with underlay.
The only thing that would make it better is some pre-drilled holes in the feet so there is an option to screw or bolt it to the floor, otherwise well worth the 5-stars i have given it.
This a great product, impressive build quality and feature at a very agreeable price. Much cheaper than the Swedish furniture store equivalent. We went for the added features of having different set positions so the desk can be shared with different heights, the alarm to remind you to move every 30mins. I have been working at home since March and I wished I bought this sooner, really helped with my posture and reducing back aches and pains. Package was delivered on time and was easier to assemble. I was away on the proposed delivery date, was re-arranged to my suiting so I can’t fault the customer service. Very happy with the product and would buy again from the supplier.
This is a good quality electric desk. When I’m working from home I can change from seating to standing in a few seconds. I used an IKEA desktop on top of this frame. I bought a cable tidy and fixed it under the desk to try and keep the cables neat. It has 3 heights that you can program into the memory, and it will adjust to the pre-programmed height at the touch of a button. The motor seems powerful and it’s very quiet in operation. It’s very heavy and feels good quality. Delivery from Sanodesk was within a couple of business days – much faster than the weeks they quoted on Amazon. I contacted them about delivery in advance of my order, and they replied within 24 hours.
I have a standing desk at work and wanted one for home use. This base is solid, the lift works well and it was very easy to put together. I am a fan of standing desks, my hip and back pain has been much better since I stopped sitting all day.
I purchased a wooden top from Ikea, good price, and easy to just screw on, also meant I could choose what size of desk I wanted in the space. The frame adjusts for width, another good feature.
I purchased this with the 140 * 70 cm desktop (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07B93CZKZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) – I had thought about an Ikea desktop, but 70CM deep is a rare, but Goldilocks size!
Assembly was very straightforward, and the only tool I brought to the party was a screwdriver; if there were anything that would make it any more convenient, it would be to offer a cable basket to fit under the desk – I assume pretty much all users will find that they need one to hold a power strip, power supplies etc. (there are a LOT of cables on a modern desk!). I used an Ikea one, which works well.
All in all, I am very happy with this at a very competitive price – I can’t see what more I’d have got for double the money.
Great frame. purchased this as we are working from home with a toddler and did not want her to reach up and pull things down, so it’s great we can move it up and down. Brilliant frame, quick delivery and our table top fit nicely.
Very nice electric desk. I am very satisfied with purchase and delivery.
However one suggestion is to have some kind of cable management for electronic components under desk instead of 3M cable holders.
I have now had this product from Flexispot for a few weeks using it virtually everyday. I have been greatly impressed by the quality of the components. They are solid and of a heavy duty metal construction. They are also nicely finished and look good. Very solid once put together. There is very slight movement when the desk is at my standing position (114cm), but this is minimal and of no consequence if you’re using the desk for it’s purpose i.e. an office desk for IT kit.
I had no issues putting the frame together and found the instructions more than adequate. The most difficult part was trying to align the top of the frame legs with the table top, but this was helped by pre-drilled holes and just required a little patience. My desk was delivered with a two pin rather than a three pin plug cable for the motor. However, I contacted the supplier via Amazon email/message centre and was impressed by the speed of their response and they sent a three pin plug cable immediately with no fuss, which I received within 2 days. So from that their customer service was also very good.
I can only speak from my own experience, but the desk is excellent value for money (could have spent a lot more for something of similar quality), and does the job. No hesitation in recommending.
Probably the best sit-stand table you can get at this price. Add a desk top (this can be cheap but make sure it’s solid material inside so the screws will be secure), and you’re good to go.
Really great product, would recommend it. Helps my back issues greatly and having timed raising and dropping is ingenious
Easy to assemble.
Arrived far more quickly than expected.
Perfect for my home setup and is carrying, with ease, an L shaped desk of larger dimensions than the specified max.
After visiting IKEA for a sit/stand desk and was not very impressed with the offerings, I decided the purchase EN1B Height Adjustable Electric Standing Desk Frame from Amazon. Assembled in about 40 mins.
I love the product! Sturdy, Stable, High Quality, Easy to Assemble
I got 2 of them for my kids. Those desks are amazing- easy to assemble, sturdy and well made. Good price comparing to other makes and customer service is quick to respond to emails. My boys love the option to adjust desk height.
Having been sent to work from home very early on by my employers, I was using a fixed desk and a rickety old chair. Although I bought myself a kneeler chair (my preferred seating), it was too short for me to reach the table correctly (yes, I’m a shortarse).
As the lockdown came in to force, and then started to drag on, the seating arrangements became for too uncomfortable, and something had to be done. Looking around the house, the only available space was the opposite side of the room I was currently using, but was rather constrained by a door and the bookshelves, which could not be put anywhere else.
This desk frame was the perfect answer. Being able to widen or narrow the width in addition to the sit/stand function was fantastic. The desk top was hastily created out of some spare MDF from the shed, cut to allow for the bookcase. It’s not pretty, but it doesn’t need to be.
And finally, when sitting, I can use my kneeler seat again!
Although I winced a little at the cost, I put this down to my Scottish blood (thanks Dad!), as it really isn’t expensive at all compared to complete site/stand desk options, or indeed compared to many of the other frames available. The clincher for me was definitely the width adjustment options. I know that I can re use this desk in a less cramped environment, once time and tide allows.
All in all, well worth having – and since I am not commuting, and therefore not buying petrol, it turned out that the cost was a non-issue anyway! 🙂
Took my time working out how best to cure my back, neck and shoulder pain whilst working from home and deliberated and researched chairs, desks & back supports. Opted to go for a sit/stand desk and glad that I did. Product arrived far quicker than the 5-6 weeks it was quoted, ended up being 3 days which was a nice surprise (worth the seller updating their lead times). Product was very well wrapped and small enough to be able to carry upstairs without any issues. Assembly was excellent, each tool, bolt and screw had it’s own alphabetical pouch and the instructions were clear enough to follow. Each tool provided did a perfect job and I only needed my screwdriver for the final addition of my existing worktop. Build time took around 45 minutes and only needed a second person to help when lifting it upside down to attach the worktop. Really happy with the extra memory and alarm feature, easy to use and good reminder to get up and spend some time standing and working. As the product mentions, the motor is quiet and no issues lifting a desk which has a few items on it such as PC’s, Large Monitor etc. Overall, it’s early days but very happy with the product, would recommend anyone to buy and glad I took the plunge after so much time deliberating.
I’m comparing this to a Fully frame which cost almost double. This is ‘almost’ as sturdy (there is more wobble and shake at full height but it’s usable for typing), it has quieter motors which is nice and has no problem lifting a large 32″ monitor and accessories but if you want to lift 150Kg you’ll need a Fully frame.
I bought an Ikea kitchen table top for 20 (125x75cm) and had a local hardware shop take off 15cms to make it 110x75cms and it works incredibly well. The top is 20mm thick and I wouldn’t go less than that due to the screws, one of which made tiny 0.5mm indent in to the surface when screwing in the panel.
Overall I’m very impressed with the frame for the cost, yes you can get better stiffer ones but you’ll be paying 2-3x more for the privilege.
This is awesome, definately a great step up from my previous standing desk which sat on top of my IKEA desk.
With this base, I was able to reuse the IKEA desk top, and the new adjustable legs were quick and relatively easy to fit.
Do pay attention to the rod from the motor, it takes a bit of pressure to fit fully.
This was a relatively straight forward desk to assemble, though I must admit to having let my teenage son do most of the work. Be warned, it is a heavy items best assembled where it is going to be used.
For the work surface I bought a 600mm deep white furniture board sheet from B&Q, and cut to length. It was all fairly easy, though attaching it to the frame and then turning it back up-right is probably a two person job.
I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and the engine is working fine. I have it at 75cm for sitting and 120cm for standing, and not experienced any stability issues.
Arrived a lot quicker than expected.
Very well packaged, each piece was individually wrapped and the finish was excellent.
Took me about 45mins to assemble the whole thing. (Quicker if there was two people.)
The instructions were spot on and all the parts and screws were labelled, making it super easy.
Motor is quiet and works perfectly!
Very pleased with this purchase. I bought a tabletop from Ikea by reading the reviews here. I live and buy by reviews. I find having the option to stand or sit, which can help resolve any physical problems but also contribute towards wakefulness, is a plus. When you are spending hours sitting, it’s just not good for you. This helps ameliorate that. Love it. There is a little shake when typing at full height but it is minuscule.
So I recently purchased this unit to support working from home, having spent four months in the kitchen and looking at another six, it was time for a change. I bought this unit along with two of their arms for monitors (not from Amazon) and all in all they all work well. here are some minor issues with making sure both legs are the same height before using the motor – mine were not. A quick detach of the drive rod even the legs up and reattach and all was well.
The only real gripe I have is the fitting of a table top, apart from the table top I bought taking 25 days to get here, the fixings are quite poor and it feels fragile for a period – although you get used to it. The design could with stronger fixings.
Motor works, but with the worktop, monitor arms and 2 x 28″ monitors it feels slow. I think I would look at a dual motor unit if buying again.
The controls work fine, once you have set them up. Oh I ran past the end of the lower limit on the motor and it all went blank! 20 secs with power off and a read of the manual – which is good sorted that out. it could do with an auto stop feature though.
I am happy for now.
Assembly instructions are really good. Oh so easy to put together, plug in and presto.
So happy with this purchase!
Very sturdy and very smooth to operate, I use it for very long periods and i am over the moon with this purchase! Great price and you get a lot of bang for your buck, i will not hesitate to buy again if needed!
Fantastic!!
Really pleased with this frame. We were able to reuse my existing desk top which was customised to match the cupboards in the room and to fit a specific space. A frame like this was not available at the time.
We were also able to add the keyboard tray that was attached to my desk top without any interference with the desk.
The flexibility of having my desk at various heights has really helped with comforts of full time working from home.
I have already recommended it to a number of my friends.
I gave it 4* as it was heavy for myself to put it it together independently
I’ve been using this desk for about 3 weeks and I am really impressed. It was easy to put together with clear instructions. It’s helpful to have a drill in order to fix the worktop to the frame. I combined the frame with an Ikea table top and this works well. The frame is very sturdy and well made. The lifting mechanism is smooth and quiet. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product – it has made a big difference to working from home.
After 3 months on working from home and the work life changing, I thought best to make my home set up more comfortable since I will be working from home a lot more even when our office reopens.
I’ve always wanted a standing desk to help with the aches of sitting all day, and when I get into work mode I can be at it for 8-12 hours, and being at home meant I’m even less likely to get up or move away from my desk. So at least now I can stand up and continue working when my watch tells me it’s time to stand. The legs are actually pretty quiet and sturdy. They have some weight to them so previous table bumps and shakes are less noticeable and from the lowest setting which I use for sitting to my standing height 104cm it’s takes less that 20 seconds I believe.
Delivery was very fast! It said it would take a month however it came within 2 days, meaning I had to wait to unbox it since I was waiting on my new table top and monitor clamp. But now I’m all set up, one of the best things ever.
I’ve read about sit-stand desks for some time now and decided to purchase one, especially as A) I suffer from a bad back; and B) like many of us, I’m working from home now and will doing more so in the future. This was a great buy. I purchased the desk top separately – a nice Mango wood, which goes really well with the black Flexispot base. Being able to program three different heights is great. It;s smooth and surprisingly not too noisy, as I have heard about other similar sit-stands. It’s sturdy, even at it’s highest point. I appreciate that as is doesn’t have a cross-bar, it may not be the sturdiest at it’s highest point but I’ve not met any issues whilst working at my highest programmed setting – I’m 6ft tall. It’s been about a month and so far so good.
First off, this thing arrived spectacularly quick considering the estimated delivery date was a month from now! It’s a great bit of kit for the price in my opinion, and the fact it doesn’t come with a table top was ideal since I already had an IKEA table in the office. Was very simple to setup and seems to work well. The automatic stand-up reminder is a great little bonus too.
Very happy so far!
Firstly, this arrived well before the advised date. Super swift shipping.
It is a very well made and solid desk. Everything went together as it should without concern.
Very pleased and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this product.
Edit: I switched desktops to a huge thick wooden one and it still works perfectly. Really easy to change and make longer 🙂
Brilliant bit of kit. I originally was going to get the ikea version for 400+ but the good reviews led me to try this. I still bought an ikea desk top (klimpen) and just ignored the holes.
Set up was really simple. Instructions were clear and it was just a case of assembling legs and then lining up on your desk top on the floor – it’s got a lot of room for different size desks and even the screws are provided. If I ever wanted to replace the desk top it would be really easy to do so.
The keypad is easy to use and can save favourites, great for me and my other half who like different heights, and doesn’t wobble at all unless you lean on it.
There’s even a shelf for hiding any unsightly wires too.
Really happy with this – all in all I saved myself about 150!
Easy to assemble and great quality for the money. It is almost as nice as my office desk. Working from home is now a little easier.
I did some research on lower priced standing desks and most of the reviews said the build quality was sub par and the sturdiness wasn’t great, so I purchased this desk and related top with a bit of trepidation and expectation i might need to modify it to improve it. Boy was i wrong the build quality was top notch instructions for assembly were easy I added washers here and there for extra support on the controller and psu but all in all i’d have paid double for this level of quality the movement is smooth and so quiet i can move it during a Skype meeting and it cant be heard. It does wobble just a tiny amount at full height but not as much as i expected (I couldn’t spill my coffee when i tried a bit of a wobble test) all in all a great product that if i’m honest i’m really glad i didn’t spend any more on as i don’t think the extra money would have gotten me any better of a product. so high praise from someone who doesn’t tent to write reviews
I’m really happy with this! It’s still early days so I can only give my initial experience:
1. The arrival was really quick considering we’re in the middle of pandemic. It was delivered by a reputable courier and in good time.
2. The set up was SO clear, literally everything is labelled out for you in little packages.
3. It’s adjustable, so you can change tabletops if you decide you need a smaller/bigger surface.
4. You can preset your preferred heights and it’s very quiet when it’s moving.
Really good experience, thank you
This arrived very fast in 3 working days. Nice unboxing, all parts clearly labelled. Instructions were clear and was built in less than an hour. We used our existing desk top and it works well: quiet, smooth and nice with memory functions. The parts are heavy and seem of great quality and design. The plug was a Euro one not suitable for UK. We luckily had the right adapter by chance but would be a shame if you had to wait for one so advise ordering one at the same time if needs be so you can get it working same day. Overall very pleased with the look and resul
Bought this for my husband to work from to help ease back and hip pain and, so far, it has worked a treat. Be aware that this is just a frame with all the necessary electronics provided, which means you’ll need to provide your own work surface, which in our case meant re-using an old 160cm x 80cm IKEA desktop (a tip – switch it around 180 degrees so the back becomes the new front as you’ll be amazed how new it looks!).
Upon ordering the delivery date was scheduled for two weeks but two days later the box was delivered. Assembly took about 90 minutes, which included measuring, marking out and drilling pilot holes into the desktop for the securing screws. The instructions are very much set out like an IKEA document and all screws and allen keys were provided, although a socket set was found to be a faster way of assembling.
The desk now has an iMAC, laptop, 32″ monitor, speakers and varied other bits and pieces on it and the motor very easily copes with the weight. Movement is prompt and very quiet, and the control panel has three memory settings available for storing preferred heights. You do need to buy or fashion a cable management system of some sort, but in my husband’s case fitting an extension block to the underside of the desk worked a treat.
By all means go and splash 500 on an IKEA sit/stand desk, but if you want to save yourself some money and have a desk surface available, then for half the price you can buy one of these instead. It’s definitely recommended.
There is loads of choicest there when looking for this type of desk. I could have spent closer to a grand or a manual version for a couple of hundred. This desk just works. When you want to change the height it is fast, smooth and quiet enough. At height it doesn’t wobble or sway. Took less than half an hour to assemble too.
The set is well built but after a few weeks of use it does a loud squeaky noise when lifting up and down. I contacted customer support and they replaced the faulty item with a pristine one quickly. Very happy with the product.
I am surprised I didn’t see more people complain about the 2 stage desks not going low enough. I am 5 foot 9, a very average height, and found with a normal office chair setup the desk top was not low enough for my arms to sit horizontally. This is an issue with all 2 stage standing desks as far as I can tell. So please, before you buy a standing desk do the following:
1: Set up your office chair so that your feet rest flat on the floor and your thighs are parallel to the floor. Adjust armrests so your arms gently rest on them with your shoulders relaxed.
2: Measure the distance from the floor to where your hands are hovering when in sitting position
3: If this distance is less than the lowest height of the desk (here 71cm) PLUS the height of your chosen top (usually around 3cm) then DO NOT BUY the 2-stage version. I think the 3 stage versions will go low enough for most people, but again please double check the measurements.
With all that said, I must say the product is very good for the price. The delivery came quicker than expected, and was well packaged.
After a little back and forth SANODESK agreed for a refund and it was settled with relatively little fuss.
Bought this for my husband as he works long hours. It’s been a month since we’ve assembled this and he seems pleased with the product as he’s been able to stand and sit several times a day to stretch his back. Definitely would recommend although the price is slightly on the higher side.
Great option. I am impressed with the stability, sturdiness and lifting speed.
It was very easy to assemble the table. It was then just like plug and play. The motor was quiet and running smooth. The price was a little bit steep.
I’ve been using this frame for four months now and I have absolutely nothing to complain about. It works exactly as expected, no issues arose during that time. I would buy it again.
I use it with the cheap table top from Ikea.
As soon as I felt the weight on the parcel I knew this was going to be sturdy. It would take a lot of force to push it over!
The instructions were clear and easy enough to follow. It looks great and works beautifully. I love it.
This desk frame is great, its transformed the way I work. reasonably easy to assembly, feels really sturdy, compared this to standing desks at work and this has a lot less wobble than they do. very happy with my purchase.
We bought this desk so we could have a standing desk in the office – Its really sturdy, electric and good quality.
I’m just about to order 3 more desks!
I purchased this desk frame to alleviate the issue of back ache caused through sitting most of the time. I used my own frosted glass desktop with this frame with no issue at all. The weight of the desktop holds sturdy on the frame. The frame itself is very sturdy, even at top height. The operation is very quiet, having used this for over a couple of months now. Assembly is easy, completed within 30 mins. I would recommend this desk as anyone looking for a standing desk – simply use your own desk top.
This desk frame was easy to build and words a treat, I sit for many hours with my work and this unit is going to benefit my health a lot.
Very impressed with this, was a worthy purchase and about half the price of the ikea version. I already had the table top so assembly and attachment was straight forward… a word of wisodom -measure twice fix once!! Its seems to handle the amount of weight well- 2x 24″ 1×29″ultrawide and a graphics tablet. Noise is marginally loder than my pc fans(see/listen to video) but its never in constant use so no big issue. In summary very pleased with it.
Very nice and cheap standing desk. Top notch for the price. Very easy to setup.
It is truly an excellent product and very good value for money. But instructions could be better. If you are a complete novice in DIY or have two left hands, you’d be better off by getting someone to help you. Instructions are a bit “summarised” – not foolproof and not let’s say at an IKEA level of easy to follow. You’ll need a couple of hours or more to put it together. But, when you are done, you’d be proud of your desk!
Tip: get the wheels, too. Practicality of use increases substantially with the wheels on.
I have bought two of these. One I use as an easily height adjustable desk for working sitting or standing. The other as an height adjustable table for an older relative who has difficulty sitting at conventional tables. The height adjustment is reliable and the frame stable.
Absolutely delighted with this table/desk, easy to assemble and so versatile. I’m very tempted to buy another.
I absolutely love my desk now. I suffer from sciatica and sitting for days in the office was harrowing. Now I can alter the desk so easily and move around, stretch etc.
I have so many comments on where I got it and how amazing it is. Would highly recommend getting this and a mat to stand on too as it takes its toll on your feet otherwise.
Very well packaged. Very heavy duty – not what I was expecting at all for the price. Excellent frame.
I got this for home having been given a sit/stand desk at work because of a recurring back problem. I also like standing to do some of the stuff I do in tandem with the computer like sketching or making notes.
First of all, it’s very well packaged and the box is small given the finalsize. Clear instructions and all the bits and pieces clearly identified make it easy to assemble if you can use an allen key. Instructions are clear, pictures unambiguous and for me it all went together very easily, taking about an hour to do so as I took my time given the level of investment, frustration free as well.
I then married it to a Gerton work top from Ikea (others are available) before adding the electrics which hang off the bottom of the desk surface. It took a minute to set my seated desk height and standing desk height on the memory buttons.
All in all very pleased and would thoroughly recommend as a cost effective solution in combination with your preferred work surface.
Used my own desktop from an Ikea desk. Very pleased with the result!
* It took less than 15 min to assemble (with 2 people working);
* manuals were very Ikea-like, enough materials included (e.g.: extra screws to put the desk top on);
* It takes less than 10 sec to go up or down to my memorised heights.
Having the memory options is great. It does slightly wobble but it’s not disturbing to me (it’s less than my previous “cheap” Ikea table with flimsy legs), and for this price comparing to more expensive options, I really believe this was a great investment.
I have no intention in trading this for any more expensive model (of sit-stand desk).
I assemble the desk with no problem, it was a very easy and well documented process. I enjoyed my desk for 3 days and then it stopped going up. It can only go down. I’m still gonna put 3 stars (when I should put 1 really) because I hope to get this solved by Ergonomics … If it is solved, I will adjust my rating, but for now I’m just disapointed as I bought this because of back problems … and I’m back to no desk … Edit : I got a very quick answer from the staff at Ergonomic, I had to reset the desk by just pressing the lower button for a little while. It fixed it 🙂 So I’m happy again and change to 5 stars 🙂 !!! It’s a great desk really for the price
his has lifted my productivity just need a good ergonomic chair and that should be good to balance in between to have that perfect setup.
I bought this with a marked down 120cm x 60cm mahogany top. It was easy to assemble, there are cable ties included in the pack with 3M adhesive to run the cables around the desk. I stand 6ft 4/5in (195cm ish in new money) and I find it comfortable for standing work at 114cm if you’re wondering, so the 121cm is more than adequate.
There’s noticeable wobble from side to side but backwards and forwards are fine. I image at this height with no cross bracing that’s true of any desk of this design.
Very quiet. No safety stops so if you leave a chair back tucked underneath it (or a child) there may be issues. Not sure how you’d prevent that. I leave it off at the wall socket and the desk remains at the height it was last set at.
This was the cheapest electric standing desk that I could find. It was relatively simple to assemble and thankfully it has turned out to be very sturdy. I’ve been using the desk for about one month now with no issues. I would happily recommend it to others.
Fantastic piece of kit. Works perfectly with the kitchen worktop we’d upcycled for the desktop. Easy to assemble.
Easy to assemble, Strong, quiet and I feel like a Bond villain – what’s not to like!
The Flexispot frame was perfect for my needs, as I’m working in a small room and due also to my disability sitting can sometimes be a little painful, so at times I will stand for short periods and it is great being able to raise and lower my desk to the perfect height.
Another feature that is very useful is having 3 preset heights in memory, so you only need to press 1, 2 or 3 for the height you set up previously, be careful when you work near or at full height as there is some wobble when fully raised but this is to be expected from any structure that raises up, but on the plus side the frame is very heavy which makes for good stability.
In use the motor is quiet only audible if the room is quiet and very smooth in operation, I also like how the motor slows as it nears the preset height.
As I have only had this desk frame a few days I can’t comment on long term use, but I will say that the motor and all connected components feel very sturdy so don’t expect issues for a long time.
It’s perfect what i need it for! Very happy so far with my purchase and can only recommend it.
Easy to assemble. Great to use. I purchased one and then after few weeks another one. Really happy with the price, and convenience. It is useful as the table can be now used for any one with different height.
24 june 2020:
Ordered 3rd piece as first 2 were really good.
This time luck ran out. The product came with wring size bridge bar holes or the screws… its a message back and forth with seller now. All we want is ‘plug and play’ Easy to assemble N use the table. Bt here i m struggling to get correct parts!!
Really tired -5/6 message exchanges for over a week now!!
Update:
After a CO sidwrable long wait, finally the missing part arrived and now fitted. Happy now
Attached my old deskto to the assembled frame and ‘Hey Presto’ it works a treat.
I wanted to buy the three-stage version of this frame but I had to get this one instead because I needed it to fit in a small space. I’m glad now, because this one was cheaper and it does everything I need it to. It’s rock-solid in a low position and there is only a slight wobble when it’s at standing height (111cm for me). The presets make it effortless to use and the motor is smooth and surprisingly quiet. Assembly was really easy thanks to clear instructions and clearly labelled parts. I made my own top from plywood because I needed a bespoke size but the frame came with all the fixings I needed, so I just screwed it on. As long as a slight wobble at the higher settings doesn’t bother you, I can’t recommend this desk highly enough.
Well packaged and easy to assemble, great memory height function, smooth and quiet transitions between heights, our IKEA Linnmon table top fitted easily. Very happy with purchase.
