Nice lamp and shade it can be a pain when screwing the poles together as the lead is running straight through it not sure about replacement bulbs to go in it when this one goes hopefully you can buy them if not this lamp will be useless to use the colour are nice and bright different colours to choice from you can also dim them

I got this lamp for using when playing the PS4 rather than having the “big” light. It is very easy to assemble, you just have to screw the stand together, put the lampshade together and insert the bulb (which is included).

I love that it changes to different RGB colours too – especially for using when gaming, but I do think at the price point coming with a remote should be standard. Especially when the touch controls on the side don’t always seem to pick up and can be hard to see as they are black like the stand.

I didn’t really like the lampshade that was included – it was a big flimsy, so I have added one of my own and I do think it looks a lot better. A nice lamp but maybe keep an eye out for a discount code or a price drop.

lovely light - but nicer with my own lampshade

I was surprised at how small the package was. You screw the stand together on top of the base and add the lampshade – it’s very simple and intuitive. And then you get assorted light colours, controlled from touch sensitive pads on the stand itself. The colours are interesting and potentially atmospheric, but the most usable is the soft warm glow we found. It lights a room very adequately, yet without overpowering and over extended use, you don’t get the tired eyes that often come with ceiling lights. As it’s easy to assemble and operate, the light is comforting and warm, the price below what I would expect to pay at a household goods seller, I have to give this 5 stars.

When the parcel arrived I looked at it in a rather sceptical manner. How on earth do you fit a tall floor lamp with lamp shade into a small square box like that? Have I ordered a dolls house floor lamp by mistake? I had not made a mistake and when I opened the package I could see all the parts needed to assemble a full size floor standing lamp ingeniously packed into the box. There was a substantially weighty round black base, and also the sections of poles which were all pre-wired to the base. Then there was a white roll of fabric which was obviously the lamp shade, along with two metal wire hoops to form the shade. Finally there was a 12W LED bulb.

It was a simple process to assemble the lamp. The lamp shade requires a bit of care when putting it together but I was surprised how good it looked considering it had been tightly rolled up in a box! Hook & Loop fastenings allow you to match up the ends to form the shape of the shade, but try to handle it carefull to avoid adding any creases. The vertical poles are screwed together (you can’t make a mistake with the order of the poles because the mains cord is pre-fitted inside and runs through the pole sections. It’s worth mentioning that there are some protective black plastic ‘rings’ that protect the ends of the pole sections and these plastic rings need to be pulled off to enable the poles to be joined.

Once assembled the lamp looks great. It’s at the tall-end of the scale for floor lamps I would say. It looks very sleek and modern too. There’s no remote control for the lamp lighting functions, instead there are four buttons just above half-way up position on the pole (they are touch-sensitive buttons, and do not depress). The lamp shade is on a joint that allows you to angle it if desired – a nice touch. So, it was time to plug it in and see how it all worked.

We are obsessed with coloured lights in our house and our various themed lighting room scenes may be a bit extreme for most people. This lamp can cater for either colour-freaks like us, or more conventional white lighting. There are three white colour temperatures available (warm, neutral & cool) and you can adjust the brightness of all of them. Then there are 7 colours – which can either be static colours or they can fade/melt into one another if preferred. All the functions are easy to control with the four buttons. I guess I would have liked a wireless remote control too… but it’s not essential.

I think that this lamp, especially with the versatile supplied light bulb is a very competent and stylish piece of functional furniture. As I have mentioned, we do like an ‘above normal’ amount of coloured lights so I do anticipate using those colour functions on the NAATSU lamp most of the time, but it’s very handy to have easy access to white illumination (the warm white is very nice) for some occasions.

If I was to be critical at all I think that the lamp shade, while okay, may benefit from the substitution of a better quality shade. Not essential at all, and I am genuinely impressed with how the supplied shade ‘unrolled’ to form a well structured shade. Having said all that I do feel that the NAATSU floor lamp is a good value, attractive and versatile product and I absolutely think that for under 80 it’s a good purchase. 5 Stars.

Very nice lamp. Elegant and modern with colours as well as 3 white temperatures.

When I received this floor lamp I was surprised by the size of the cardboard box it came in, very much like flat pack furniture, when you open you see why the packing is so small, as each part of the rail unscrews, you need to be careful unpacking and twisting the cable, as this runs through the rails.

You need to screw each rail to the next, this was a bit fiddly, but I managed to do it, you do need to remove some plastic clips at the end of each rail and then you can screw the rail in, it is easier if you lay the whole thing on the floor, I screwed the top part first and worked down to the base, which by the way is very heavy, but it screws in easily as well.

The shade comes in three parts, the actual shade is rolled up and you can unroll and put the two Velcro parts together and then you can put the top part and the bottom part of the shade in, this is down by a series of clips, it is easy to do, you can then screw the shade using the plastic nut, this is on the box as well so make sure you don’t throw it away.

There is an adaptor in the box which needs to be plugged into the short cord on the lamp, the lamp itself once assembled stands over 5ft, so it is a good size. Now to the features, this is located on one of the rails under the shade, there are four buttons, so you need to screw in the bulb and then you are ready to go, it is all touch sensitive, to switch on you press gently the bottom button, above this you have a button to control the colour settings and above this is two light settings and finally the first button is the dimmer. A nice feature is on the colour setting button, it has a number of colours and if you press this for seven times it automatically changes the colours.

I do like this lamp, but you will find that the buttons are ultra-sensitive, so you need to get used to using them and have to be very gentle, it would have been better to have had a remote control as well, this one missing element is the down side, after all if you want to change any setting you need to go to the lamp, so a remote would have been sensible and certainly for the very high price, I think the makers could have done this. Also, the bulb, in the instruction there is no mention about this, do you need to get a particular type or can you screw in any normal bulb? I did put in a LED bulb and it did not work, I noticed in the listing it says E27 RGB LED Bulb, this is not cheap, so if it does fuse be prepared to pay up to 20 for this bulb.

So overall a nice lamp with some good features, but it has its negatives as well, fairly expensive and some of the parts feel cheap, such as the lampshade, the underside of the base looked roughly finished and will scratch flooring, so be weary of this and put something underneath, for the price they should have put in a felt base or some other covering, I am giving this lamp four stars, but nearly gave it three, so I have been a bit generous.

This is a rather nice and simply lamp, took me around 10 minutes to put together whilst taking my time. Easy build and I ran into no issues.

Instructions were faily easy to follow but if you used common sense whilst building this, you’ll do a couple of things differently as it makes your life easier.

Once built its fairly solid and stable, even on a thicker carpet.

The shade swivel is nice, but I felt it looked a bit silly with the shade at an angle. The touch part of the stem is responsive and its nicely hidden away, the lamp also remembers the last chosen setting so using this with a smart plug works!

It gets pretty bright, and also is able to provide full RGB colours. Its not too bad for the price. Good product.

This is a really stunning lamp. It comes really well packaged and is easy to it together. It’s really well make and has a great quality build to it. The price is good considering how well this is made. Love the colour choices. Really nice .

This lamp is very easy to assemble and I didn’t have any difficulties when putting it together. It has various different lighting options to suit any and all needs. It can change colour either manually or automatically and has a brightness scale which is perfect for when you’re working late and do not want to disturb others. The colours are really nice and complementing which is perfect to suit any atmosphere, whether it be trying to relax or watching a movie. The quality is very good and adds a nice touch to the living room.

Bright colorful lamp to light up your mood

Really pleased with this sleek and modern lamp. It has a great look and high quality feel. It fits easily with our current decor, and has been a real bonus to our lighting scheme.

It comes packaged in a small neat box and was incredibly simple to put together. The poles screw together easily and the lamp shade just clips onto 2 round wire hoops, and is held with a small strip of velcro.
The lamp head is flexible, great for when you’re reading or want to focus the light, and the touch controls on the stem are easy to use.

With a simple press of a button, the lamps bulb allows for different colours from pink to blue and all sorts in-between and the whites have different brightness levels to match your mood and function, it also has a dimming function. All in all a lovely addition to our home.

    Looks Good and delivers!

It gets four stars, reluctantly. This is a very nice lamp with lovely features – but it has flaws that let it down at this price point; if they can iron them out it cruises to 5 stars and is great value. We still love it!

    FEATURES:
FADE FROM WARM TO COOL WHITE (both are nice colours)
    COLOUR CHANGING MANUAL
COLOUR CHANGING CYCLE (which fades in on RED to indicate it’s now cycling, clever touch)
BRIGHTNESS FADE – (Touch to dim/brighten, let go and touch again and it does the opposite)
    TOUCH-BASED CONTROL ON THE PANEL
ROTATING AND ANGLED SHADE (when it works)

This makes it a versatile lamp. The colours are vivid, the warm white is nice but so is the cooler light. I do not find it harsh, unlike some. Not usually a fan of cool white, but I like it on this lamp.

Now – the problems, and there are a few that are worth considering.

    CONSTRUCTION

Start at the top and work DOWN (if I read the instructions right) – this seems counter-intuitive, but it helped because – and here’s a fault – you have to jam the wire into the inside of the frame. It was impossible when I went bottom-up, tried top-down and found it doable – but still faffy and left me concerned about bending the wire which didn’t feel all that flexible.

Remember to remove the plastic spacers from each part of the frame – they slide off. This confused me at first in my defence, I was building it at midnight.

When building from the top down, that means the top swings around – do be careful not to clock yourself on your bonce.

This gets more awkward as you connect more pieces, I found two people completing this was rather handy

The small packaging, which was a surprise, means you also are building the lampshade. As per the photos, you wrap the material around the fame clicking it into the plastic holders – you then stretch it and join it with the velcro strips. I tried this on my own at first. Mrs R came to my rescue. It’s not essential, but helpful with two people.

    THE NOT SO GREAT:

As you can see at the end of the video (if you made it that far), the lampshade just falls down from its angle. I can see no obvious ways to tighten it, so that function for us doesn’t work. And it’s a shame because it’s a handy feature.

If you have it in the corner, the touch buttons (which are neat), are a bit difficult to fathom out. This is an occasion a remote would have been helpful. I can’t believe I’m saying that with the amount I have nowadays, but yes, it would have been of benefit.

It’s a little wobbly. Not enough to not purchase, but enough to notice To its credit though, it has a relatively small base footprint so that’s a compromise matter.

Another element I’m slightly confused by is if the bulbs are easily replaceable given the manner the control panel manages the clever changes of colour?

It is tipped to last 20 YEARS – based on 3 hours a day, mind you – and I whilst couldn’t see it being used much in summer, in autumn/winter you have a festive capable lamp on hand, that’s also functional. 3 hours a day on average? I think it would be used more than that.

    SUMMARY:

We love it, but for nearly 70 I would expect the fixtures it’s sold upon to be working. Not being able to angle the lampshade is irritating.

This is not a perfect lamp – it has design flaws. A little more quality control and it will be a fantastic buy.

Despite those flaws, it is still a lamp we are appreciating.

Of course, I had this one sent to me for an honest review – so perhaps I have a flawed early version based on the lamp tech which I haven’t come across before, and I’m happy with that.

If I had forked out 70, faffing putting it together, and then considering having to send it back because a key feature (tilting shade) isn’t working – then I wouldn’t be happy – at all.

That said, it’s such a cool feature lamp, so it’s still getting 4 stars.

It’s so close to being a bit of a bargain! You might be like us, and love it anyway despite its flaws! 🙂

I hope you found this review helpful, if you did please let me know below, thank you 🙂

PUT IT TOGETHER TOP DOWN (thank me later)! - Great new tech, but not without flaws.

This is a very nice lamp. The construction feels high quality and the touch controls fit nicely in with the aesthetic. It looks good in a room and though I’m not sure what such things normally cost, the price seems fair to me.

It arrived packed in quite a small box and was mostly easy to assemble. One of the pieces of cable was a bit of a hassle to pull through, but it was fine in the end. Assembly didn’t really take a great effort.

The floor lamp is flat packed inside a surprisingly small cardboard box for its size, the lamp consists of a 5 piece pole section, a weighted base, a 3 piece shade, a rather large LED bulb and a power cable that is connected at the base.
The pole is firstly connected by screwing them together one section at a time, it was a little fiddly and the cable I found at the top was too long and it was hard to stuff the excess into the hollow tube, I had to remove the top spacer section and connect it to the one below then stuff the cable into the larger hole above, there was a risk of damaging the cable and cross threading the tubes, the problem is the control section is wired in place so the cable can’t be fed through as it’s fixed, the tubes are a little fiddly to get perfectly straight and the top spacers I think were an added addition to this particular one for some reason (see pictures). I noticed a black marker pen had been used as a touch up to cover damage, it’s not noticeable but I picked up on it by chance in the light, once the pole is connected it’s then screwed into the base, the shade is then assembled by clicking in the clips in position around the white rings top and bottom then sealing onto the Velcro, the one section has to be the correct way around to fit the clamp ring on, make sure the top smooth centre ring is facing inwards, once the shade is fitted then the E27 LED bulb can be fitted.
Located on the pole is the lamp controls, it took a little time for me to familiarise myself with the buttons and they seem hit and miss with the touch sensitivity, the 3 white levels and brightness settings seem to skip from one white colour level to another when adjusting the brightness sometimes.
There are colour options to cycle through and a few colour changing mode settings also that look nice.
The shade head can be angled but it doesn’t lock in position, I tried turning it but again it falls back down, the clips in the shade are visible through the shade when the lamp is in use, I had to bend the bar a little in the base to get it to stand vertical.
On the positive side the lamp looks nice if you don’t pickup on the above issues and it functions fine even if it does take a little time to select the colour and brightness level if switching between them, I have based this review on the current selling price of 77.99, if it was around 45 I maybe wouldn’t have been so harsh but it’s priced as a premium product I would say and these issues shouldn’t be there, I have rated 4/5 as I thought a 3/5 maybe too low but it’s a hard 4/5 due to the end results, thank you for taking the time to read this review.

Very nice lamp, great brightness, colours and dimming. Looks nice and was easy enough to assemble. Only issue I think it should’ve come with a remote or app support to control from afar but other than that it’s great.

At the time of writing, this is priced at 79.99 ( with a 10% off voucher)- although a little expensive in my opinion for a floor lamp, this was sooo worth it this looks absolutely amazing in my room and creates such a relaxed and chilled environment . This was super easy and straightforward to install and is quite sturdy and durable! The head is also rotatable so you can have it facing downwards or upwards – whatever way you prefer the lightening to go… At first I was quite confused as this doesn’t come with a remote nor can you control the lightening via a app- however, on the actual black thin lamp stand there are touch buttons which you quickly tap to change the colours. What I love about this lamp is that there are three different type of normal lightening ( for example, if you want a warm/white glow etc) and then there are 7 colour modes which is so cool!! The lamp is also nice and bright and lights my whole room up overall great lamp and super happy would this product. Would definitely recommend

    Excellent lamp 👌🏻..better then expected!!
