Spent years trying to balance the filter size with my 70 gallon freshwater tank and routine maintenance. This system is likely overkill, but I’ve never had a cleaner tank or happier fish.

Buen filtro, tengo dos tortugas grandes (con la de prquera que eso conlleva) y funciona a la perfeccin, siempre est el agua limpia, igual hace un poco de ruido, pero est muy bien el filtro.
Ich habe den Filter zweckentfremdet ich habe ihn fr mein Aquarium seit 2 Jahren und ich bin natrlich super zufrieden.
Nachdem ich mit ein Whirlpool gekauft habe dachte ich mir das ich den Filter am Whirlpool anschliee.
Resultat 100 % Leistung und absolut klares Wasser im Whirlpool wesentlich besser als jeder Sandfilter und super leise dazu noch selbstansaugend und der Unterhalt ist im Vergleich ein Witz

Had to buy a new one, because old one started leaking, but lasted 6 years. Wish it had a higher water flow with the filter media in it. I use 1 bag of Carbon, Ammonia, Biomax and Boyd Enterprises ABE16743 Chemipure Elite. Have a 75 Gallon tank with 2+ feet 15 + year Iridescent Shark. Wish it supported Fluval UVC In-Line Clarifier.
I had an Eheim 600 and with my cichlids growing bigger in an 120G aquarium, the water always had a tint of yellow like having a bogwood. 2 days back I got this and I really must say this American made stands out. The design is sturdy and has better hose pipes than Eheim with clips for easy installation on glass borders. I was expecting it to be noisy due to the bigger motor but it isn’t and the power consumption is way low than Eheim 1500XL.
Honestly I have no dislike better than any filter I’ve used prior. Has great suction power and filtration.
No hace ruido, tiene buena succin y es cmodo de limpiar. como inconveniente el tamao es grande y ancho, es un poco complicado esconderlo, porque no cabe en ningn sitio, pero repito filtro, porque es el mas potente que he tenido. para acuarios de mas de 600 litros no hay otro.
Tengo un acuario de 250 litros con una pareja de flower y Oscar. Es una pasada de filtro ya que me olvid de tener que retirar los excrementos de mis peces todos los das. Estos ms que contentos con la compra y no hace casi ruido. Recordar que se para ms o menos una vez al da para vaciar el aire. Lo recomiendo sobre todo para peces grandes.
El filtro es perfecto, cabe mucha material biolgico, lo hemos instalado en un acuario de 500 litros con discos y el agua est Cristalina!
I have this bad boy on my 180G turtle and fish enclosure. This thing is a monster. It’s awesome. Turtles are notoriously dirty reptiles and with the FX6 our water quality is spectacular. The noise level is only noticeable in the quiet hours of the night and then it’s barely audible. I only gave the unit a 4 star on ‘easy to clean’ because after 20 years with aquariums, I’m convinced no such canister filter exists. That said, the FX6 has well made and easy to operate shutoff valves on inlet and outlet lines. The motor and impeller are relatively easy to remove and clean. This unit is (obviously) not cheap, but if you have a larger tank with some messy animals, I cannot recommend it enough.

I bought this as I have a slider and they produce a lot of waste! I’ve had it for a few months now and this works wonders for when I feed him/he’s digging through the substrate. It powers through all of his mess really well and it’s silent. Keeps the water clean:)
So far this is an easy product to use and clean. The noise level is way quiet compared to any other hang on the back filter or sump I have used. I enclosed mine in a cabinet and I can’t hear it at all. I purchased an extra hose so I didn’t have to cut mine since it will only come with one. You should buy more media when you get it as you will need to fill it a little more than what is provided. If you have micro bubbles just make sure you have no leaks and things are tight then check to ensure you don’t have a bubbler below the intake. I have my first one hooked up to a 40 gal cichlid tank and bought a second one for my 20 gal tank. May be an over kill on a 20 gal but my fish have never been more healthy and active in years after installing this. My water changes are far easier.

Ich habe vorher Konkurrenzprodukte von JBL gehabt, welche immer undicht wurden.
Den Fluval FX6 habe ich jetzt seit mehr als einen Jahr im Einsatz und hatte noch keine Probleme. Ich kann wirklich wieder unbesorgt das Haus verlassen! Der Filter steht bei mir im Unterschrank und bertrgt daher die Vibrationen auf den Schrank. Ich habe etwas nachgeholfen und eine Gummimatte unter den Filter ausgelegt. Auerdem habe ich die Tren und Wnde im Unterschrank schallgedmmt. Jetzt hrt und sprt man den Filter kaum noch. Die Reinigung ist ebenfalls mehr als einfach. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Produk

Non sono previsti riduttori per i tubi che risultano molto grandi e in caso di acquari juwel ad esempio non passano nelle predisposizioni per i tubi o se si ha un erogatore di co2 in line ad esempio bisogna adattarsi.
Peccato che la fluwal non abbia ancora previsto (anche come acquisto separato) dei tubi di dimensioni 16/22 ad esempio

Se trata de un filtro muy voluminoso, pero que cumple su funcin perfectamente. Yo lo estoy usando en 450l en sustitucin de un 406 y mejora ostensiblemente el nivel de filtracin. Recomendado si dispones del suficiente sitio para ponerlo. Ojo con l, porque cada 12h hace una parada para soltar aire y la primera vez que dejas de oirlo, te mosqueas porque parece que se ha estropeado.

New canister for 175G freshwater tank. Very quiet with high flow rate. Only complaint… the long tubes are prepped on assumption that tubes will hang over back. I installed mine through bulkheads at the bottom of the tank. Finding the perfect plumbing combination to meld the corrugated water tubes to standard plumbing was a pain-in-the-butt. Fluval – please add simple adaptor to allow easy connection to standard PVC plumbing. A simple barbed fitting, similar to current connector to canister in-flow/out-flow, would do the trick.
I upgraded to fx6 from eheim. This is way better than the over priced eheim classic filters.
Bought this to replace my Sunsun hw-5000, which had issues with sucking air in:
The build seems pretty sturdy and well made. Most of the parts are plastic but compared to sunsun version seems a bit more fixed and airtight. I like it.
Only downside is that its a bit smaller than sunsun so I couldn’t fit all my used media in. Also it makes low humming sound which is a bit louder comparing to sunsun. And its 3600l/h (1000l/h less than sunsun).
But no microbubbles in my aquarium! Hooray! I think I will buy fx4 soon to accompany this one and it will be perfect filtration for my 550l cichlid tank.

Set-up was easy. It’s quiet. I’m not going to clean it for a while so I can’t tell you how easy that will be.
Also mein FX5 aus dem Jahr 2008 lief bis letzte Woche, ohne groe Wartung und Austausch von Teilen. Der FX6 macht einen guten Eindruck. Etwas mehr Leistung hat er auch. Also mein 550 L Becken, hatte auch mal Salzwasser und selbst da hatte ich den nur 1 bis 2 Mal im Jahr gereinigt. Meine Letzte Reinigung war jetzt bestimmt ber 1 Jahr her. Deswegen wei ich nicht wie falsch manche Ihre Aquarium betreiben. Aber wer LED Technik und ein ganze Chemilabor bentigt um Fische zu halten, macht schon vieles falsch.

Lo tengo en un Iwagumi de 300 litros, con 5 litros de Matrix y 62 peces.
Pero no se si es tan normal que a la minima gotea la vlvula de vaco.

Por potencia y facilidad de montaje, as como de limpieza es superior. La nica pega que he tenido es que se rompi una pequea junta trica de estanqueidad en la boca del “IN”. Puesto en contacto con Amazon no pusieron ningn impedimento para cambiarme el filtro completamente cosa que me pareca contraproducente, visto este asunto con FLUVAL Canad y HAGEN Espaa, hoy mismo me mandan el repuesto, as es que por calidad y servicio un diez… Decir que para acuarios grandes de ms de 500 litros es mejor instalar otro filtro externo de apoyo.

I replaced 3 Sun-Sun filters with this. Unlike the other cheaper filters this flow rate is for real. Cleaning is easy and rarely needed. Other features like the power cycling to release air from the system are a nice touch. Well designed overall.
Este filtro es muy bueno, aun que sea silencioso no lo recomendaria para una habitacion ya que hace un ruido normal de un filtro de esta potencia. lo compre para un acuario de 200L y queda perfecto pero tuve que cambiar la salida porque la corriente que genera en el agua es demasiada para el tipo de peces que tengo.
solamente no pongo 5 estrellas porque las medias que vienen no son suficientes para la cantidad de bandejas el filtros, tuve que comprar mas 2 Kg (medias fluval biomax) para llenar el filtro

PRO: Filter seems to pull all the waste out – I barely get detritus when I gravel vac.
CON (maybe): Suction is high enough I have lost 2 fish. Not sure if they were dead before they got suck up to the intake
CON (maybe): Blows so hard it moves my sand from one corner down the length of the tank. Both of these could be user error I can’t find info in the book on if I can turn down the flow. But this is what pushes the detritus down to the intake so not really a true con.
Issue – manual doesn’t clearly show how to ’empty’ the canister for servicing. I finally found a youtube video, will try that next time.
Over all: This filter is great – I would recommend it to anyone with a large tank that has a good load of fish.

I have 2 FX6 filtering a 125 gallon freshwater w/ frontosa, peacocks, and haps. I’ll definitely hook these units up to my future 300 gallon tank and be confident they’ll do good job!
I like the filter but there were parts missing just the hose luckily I have extra hoses in overall I’m happy ( the item was used or returned Item)
I’ve been using these for about 5 years now. It has held up nicely. I do a clean out every week or so. I’ve modified the materials being used in the baskets to suit my needs. The little pump has stopped a few times over the years but it was easy to repair. Actually, it was always a matter of taking it apart to reset the magnetic impeller. I never had to replace the pump, but all parts are available to do so if you need. Overall, it is a great product, priced right. I recently purchased a third one just to have on hand, should one fail or I decide to run another for additional filtering.
Fluval FX4/FX6 are one of the best filters I have used, easy to setup. If your bio load is low you can go 2/3 month before having to clean. A heavy bio load will be over a month which gives you more time to do water changes and clean the tank !
Once set up it just keeps running. Never have to mess with it again. Suction power is crazy. Will actually hurt if your hand gets sucked into the hose so make sure the guard is on so fish don’t get sucked up. Love how it cleans my tank. Noise is barely noticeable except when it purges air out of the system. The wave maker and sponge filter is louder than the fx6.

Ist Stand:
Ich habe ein 1000 l Aquarium an dem der Filter nun schon einige Monate luft. Das Becken steht im Wohnzimmer.
Positiv:
Der Filter lie sich problemlos aufbauen. Alles passte super zusammen und wirkte ordentlich verarbeitet und wohl durchdacht.
Es dauerte etwas bis die gesamte Luft aus dem Filter raus war, doch dann war er absolut laufruhig. Man hrt zwar ein leises Summen des Motors was aber nicht strend ist. Das Wasser wurde schnell deutlich klarer (ich hatte vorher keinen Filter am Becken) jedoch dauerte es etwa eine Woche bis das Wasser fast vollstndig klar war.
Der Wasserwechsel mit dem Fx 6 ist ein Traum. Wasserwechsel war nie einfacher… und das ohne das ich einen Schlauch Anschluss am Wasserhahn haben muss!
Negativ:
Der Schlauch knnte ruhig 1m lnger sein. Insgesamt hat er eine lnge von 4m. Laut Anleitung soll man maximal 5m anschlieen… warum ist er dann nicht 5m lang?
Bei mir hat er gerade so gereicht.
Die Strmung des Filters mit dem beigelegten Auslauf ist fr meinen Geschmack etwas zu schwach. Vielleicht schliee ich noch einen der Auslufe.
Das Wasser msste mehr im Becken zirkulieren und ich hatte lange noch eine Strmungspumpe als Support angeschlossen.
Bisher musste ich den Filter etwa alle 4 Wochen reinigen. Er war doch schneller “Voll” als erwartet.
Das Problem ist sich das nicht durch einen verminderten Durchflu bemerkbar macht sondern das er nicht mehr ordentlich filtert… inzwischen reinige ich ihn regelmig und er Filtert nun ordentlich.
Alles in allem aber ein super Filter und eine lohnende Investition. Er tut was er soll – das Becken ist klar und er luft ruhig.
First canister filter I’ve ever bought. I was hesitant bc if the price but having a 125gallon I needed one. Glad I did, the thing is a beast. 5 months, zero issues, lots of power. Miss the old waterfall sound, now the tank just hums kinda loud, but this has by far been the cleanest tank over ever had. Putting it together you see the quality.
They are like 5 gallon buckets. Surprisingly very quiet. I have 180 gallon tank and my aquarium cleaner recommended to get two of them. So far I love them I have yet to clean them so that part I don’t know as I am choosing to get the tanks serviced regularly every couple months. You can’t go wrong getting these monsters to clean your tank.

nachdem ich mich von einem 830l Aquarium mir Filterbecken, auf 570l verkleinert habe, wollte ich wieder eine Auenfilter.
Warum? Weil mir die Handhabung besser gefllt, man ein geschlossenes System hat und die Filterung stimmiger sein sollte.
Nach mehreren Tagen Recherche, hab ich mich fr diesen Fluval FX 6 entschieden. Alle Nutzer, in Foren und Gruppen empfehlen ihn. Es gibt keine negativen Stimmen.
Und so auch meine Meinung. Es ist wirklich ein top Gert. Aufgefallen ist mir gleich das wertige Kunstoff. Es fhlt sich berhaupt nicht billig nach Hartplastik an, wie man das bspw. Von anderen Herstellern, auch Markenhersteller, kennt.
Er ist leicht zu bedienen, Geruschpegel ist fast nicht wahrnehmbar im geschlossenen Unterschrank, leicht zu reinigen und alles selbst erklrend.
Der Hit und einzigartig ist, dass man mit dem Filter einen Wasserwechsel durchfhren kann und dabei gleich der grobe Dreck aus dem Filter gesplt wird. Fr manche nachteilig knnte sein, dass der Filter durch die groen Schluche nicht sehr viel Strmung erzeugt. Das knnte man mit Dsen/Auslassadaptern ndern denke ich.
Bei diesem FX hat Fluval richtig Gas gegeben. Top Gert u klare Empfehlung von mir.

I’m not sure if the first review went through so here’s another! Don’t hesitate just buy this! We were using a small canister filter on one side that also dropped water from a reservoir at the top with more filters and another reservoir top of the tank filter on the other side only no canister attached. Both were junk and ugly to look at! We wished we had bought this sooner once we had it! It’s worth it to invest in proper fish tank equipment! There’s now proper water flow, no eyesore at the top of the tank, and it’s so quiet that my air pump makes more noise! Super powerful and just right for my 125 gallon cichlid tank! I’ve had some of my fish for 5-6 years and have been upgrading to keep them happy. The setup I have now finally feels like it’s at a professional level without causing a headache! This makes care of the tank so much easier!
The price was great and cheaper then in the stores. We bought it for our stingray tank and love the brand its a great filter and keeps our 270 gallon water quality nice. We have 2 on our tank as we have monster fish.
Merita 5 stelle che le dar quando ci saranno le istruzioni anche in Italiano. Molto ben progettato, facile da montare e di facile manutenzione. I rubinetti bloccano bene l’acqua quindi quando si staccano non ci sono perdite. Materiali do ottima qualit ora appena installato dovr valutare la capacit filtrante visto che il mio acquario di 1000 lt.

Having seen these in action and knowing just how good they are I had no reservations about spending a little extra on it when cheaper options that offer tempting similar filtration statistics exist elsewhere for half the money. Solid unit, easy to operate and clean. Set up and installed in about 15 minutes. My only reservation was will it fit my jewel Rio 350 cabinet and as the picture shows, it does but only just. Quick mention to the supplier. It was on a 48 hour delivery scale and turned up in 23. Speedy and excellent service I would totally recommend both product and supplier.

Schner Filter bis jetzt alles gut dich habe gleich mal mein Wohnzimmer unter Wasser gesetzt die Dichtung unten an der Pumpe wurde nicht richtig eingesetzt wahr eingeklemmt so ist da gleich mal dezent Wasser ausgelaufen sonst ist alles super also beim befllen achten das alle Dichtungen richtig sitze
Best filter out there. Forget oasis or the other brands. If money is not an issue, get this monster. Do not think it is too much for your tank. I have this in a 260L tank and it is perfect for my discus. By the time you fill fx6 with media, the flow will reduce and you can manually reduce the flow on the output as well.
Der Filter hlt was er verspricht. Alle Schluche und bentigte Teile waren sauber beigelegt. Die Aufbau.-und Bedienungsanleitung war leicht verstndlich und der Aufbau problemlos. Der Geruschpegel des Filter ist fr diese Gre sehr leise. Im geschlossenen Aquariumunterschrank ist der Filter kaum zu hren. die Strmung hatte ich mir allerdings strker vorgestellt. Mit dem Filter von Eheim 2260 aber nicht zu vergleichen, der ist strker. Der Fluval-filter macht einen sehr stabilen und robusten Eindruck.

Je dshabille donc la belle filtration ! Et c’est beau, livre noire & rouge pour les robinets ! Plastiques robustes, pais, de qualit. La machine ( de filtration ) est impressionnante dans le sens de la qualit.

Ouverture du filtre et agencement des masses filtrantes. Tout est prvu, les supports bactriens peuvent tre amliors. Remontage sans problme.

Les ajutages du lien filtre aquarium. Il ne faut pas dpasser 5 m de tuyau en tout. Livr avec 4 m de tuyau qu’il faut couper en 2. Je m’y colle, et je pense qu’avant d’inonder le filtre bien sr ( pas la pice ) en plus de l’aprs-midi il faudra 2 h de plus.
Episode 5
En plus des 2h de plus pour tirer l’aquarium dos un mur, il faudra 4h de travail pour simplifier mon installation et y adjoindre le nouveau filtre Fluval XP6.

ET finalement LA VICTORIA: le filtre fonctionne.
ET finalement mon avis: Trs bon filtre facile dbrancher: tout est prvu, et nettoyer ( Solution paniers simple et pratique ). Le gros + de ce filtre contrairement aux produits conus en Chine, c’est que tout est expliqu clairement dans sa langue dans un excellent livret didactique, agrable, limpide. Et que c’est possible de russir !
En conclusion: Content du filtre et de Amazon.
I purchased two Fx6 Canister filters for a 125 Gallon Freshwater Aquarium. I loved the fact that I could customize the bio media I would use and mix/match. Considering how much power these canisters have they are extremely quiet. The Purge valve, snap on intake/outtake values and the ability to manage water flow are awesome. The self purge is also very good. A few gripes would center around the dinky hose clamps used to fasten the tubing to the intake/outtake valves, there has to be a better way. An improvement here would be to provide some type of click connection (similar to water hoses). The second suggestion would be to provide a higher quality hose. The hoses that Fluval provides feel cheap and seem to stretch under the bend pressure when you attach them to the tank clips. This bothered me so much I replaced them with 1″ Pond tubing for better durability. The last gripe would be the set up instructions. There are a million YouTube videos, watch them all however; even with that, you must be prepared to check your system out before you set it up on the tank. I filled a storage container with water and “dry” ran both of my canisters before I set them up on the tank and still ended up fine tuning connections and media volume afterwards because air was getting into one of the canisters causing burping and air bubbles in the tank. Again, this was attributed to the poor quality hoses and the dinky hose clamps. For the price point Fluval is selling these at, I don’t think that’s too much to ask for. All in all however; a super canister filtration system that maintains water quality very well.
I can not say the water is clearer than before to be honest. my plan in getting this was to do less maintenance and it achieves that due to shear size which allows for more media to be placed in the filter.
it is a bit noisier than the old one but not by much, its circulating the water better but it also tends to aspirate the food before the fish get to it.
it is big thou which I suppose its a good thing.
it allows for water changes to be fast specially if you have a big tank.
on the down side the plastic used is not the best quality, the plastic in the fluval 407 is better.
I always wonder if the money payed for a product are justified since this is some plastic and a small electric motor in the end.
the media that it comes with is not enough so needs topping up.

This has got to be the most money I have ever spent on a piece of aquarium equipment. However, in my opinion it is totally worth it. It is durable, sturdy, and feels like it will last many many years. It keeps my tank crystal clear 24/7. Overall, It is an amazing filter that you should buy if you have a large tank.
So I plucked up the courage and bought this after my other external filter failed on me. So anyways bought this and I watched YouTube vids read the instruction so I knew how it was to setup. I was disappointed not to get bio-media but never mind. Overall this product is really at the highest quality. I wasn’t expecting it to so big but it mean better filtration in my 300litre tank. Just awaiting for the water to clear up it’s very quiet and it removes any air bubbles in the system which is impressive. And I can finally do water changes with this which will make life so much easier for myself and less stress for the fishes
I’ve had this running for about three weeks. Very quiet and moves a lot of water. No leaks and many convenient features.
The hoses provided were very cheap, which I upgraded. Too many sponges in my opinion. This really reduces the capacity for bio media. The Bio media included is woefully insufficient.
I have many doubts that this model would suffice on its own for a tank any larger than 180 gal.
I recommend watching lots of YouTube channels for tweaks to improve the performance. Way more expensive than it should be.
I have fresh and saltwater tanks. I have had two of these running on a 180 gallon freshwater tank for several years. I don’t think I would run them on saltwater as I prefer a sump. They have been awesome on the tank they are plumbed to. Water is crystal clear. I clean them approximately every 3 months or so. As far as the plastic nuts go I have never had to replace them but I just snug them up enough to contact the gasket and no leaks have occurred. I would not hesitate to run these on any freshwater tank again. They are huge but my cabinet allows me to have them hidden inside.
Package arrived a day late. Outer Amazon box was fine, the actual product packaging looked like it had been floating around different locations for about a year. Upon opening the filter to do the initial wash, one of the faster nuts broke. Yes, after taking possession of the product for roughly 2 minutes, something broke. (Replacement price for these fasteners is roughly $12…theres 8 of them) The inside of the filter had a bunch of what looked like a fine sand residue on the bottom and all the media trays were covered in dust from manufacturing. Once loaded with media had to use pliers to tighten the broken nut. Went together as expected and installed on the tank with relative ease.
Hubby got a new tank far bigger than last, needed a new filter and this is just the one he wanted.
I have been waiting for an external filter like this for over thirty years.

Let’s start I’ve owned this brand for years, and with that said I keep coming back and back for more! This filter is clearly the best setup before taking a leap to a sump! The water moment is perfect. Very easy to maintain and the only time I hear this running is when its purging air out from the system. Spend the money and join the happy fish life!!!
L unico difetto…se cos lo si vuole definire…. e che non vero che sta comodamente all interno di quasi tutti i mobiletti. Io ho un juwell rio 400, quindi un acquario di certe dimensioni ed il mobile di conseguenza, eppure ci sta a malapena. Comunque fantastico!!! Consiglio L acquisto di un prefiltro se non volete stancarvi di aprirlo per ripescare i pesci pi piccoli.

Best filter I ever used. It has been two years since I purchased it and honestly I cannot see myself buying anything other than this in the future. The rubber o ring on the intake broke so I needed to replace that. I’ve used many different canisters throughout the years and I’d have to say this one is the best. I’ve noticed that there is less water bypassing the media compared to other canister filters, for example, my cascade that I use along with the FX6 on my 150gal.
I have a 150 gallon that i put this on to replace a sunsun (still working but very hard to maintain). Only time will tell if I made the right choice. It was easier to set up and get going, so hopefully, it will be easier to maintain. After a few hours the water was crystal clear. I also purchased the gravel vac that you can hook up to the valve on the bottom. That alone makes it worth spending three times the amount of the sunsun.
So the setup was very easy however it did have a broken piece in the parts box. I’m still trying to reach the company for a replacement part. Long wait time on the phone. It’s curious how this part was broken. The part goes over the back of the aquarium holding the intake tube in place. This is a very beefy part and well constructed. This is why I believe it was broken when packed. It’s a very impressive filter. I hope customer service is as good as the filter. I assume it is.

This filter is awesome. I am running it on my 150g mix reef tank. Set was super easy and it runs very quiet.
The tubing did confuse me for a minute but I realized the tubing had to be manually cut in half. It is plenty of tubing for most set ups.
The construction is super sturdy and leak free. This is by far the best filter I have owned. Cleaning is super easy as you can actually drain the filter before moving it.
I highly recommend this filter for anything 100g and above.
Der Fluval Fx6 bzw Fx5 die sich lediglich in der Watt Zahl unterscheiden (40/48 Watt) sind meines bescheidenen Erachtens nach die Besten Filter auf dem Markt sie haben eine Lange Standzeit ohne das sie gereinigt werden mssen, je nach Besatz versteht sich natrlich aber im vergleich einfach Top. Weiterer groer vorteil man kann alles auswaschen und muss es nicht direkt Neukaufen! Grade das Filter Flie ist bei vielen Herstellern Wegwerfware, da sich sich beim versuch sie zu waschen in eine teilviskose Masse verwandeln und schlicht weg unbrauchbar werden, dies ist beim FX Filter Flie nicht der Fall! Man kann es zwar auch nicht ewig verwenden aber wenn man es sorgsam aussphlt dann kann man es gut und gerne 2-3 mal wieder verwenden und da der Filter bei Mir (mit starkem Besatz) Halbjhrlich gereinigt wird wren das ja gut und gerne mal 2 Jahre ohne Wechsel. Das Reinigen klappt auch sehr gut durch das Fach System (das mittlerweile eigentlich alle Hersteller anbieten) das der Filter besitzt und die Leistung ist sowieso enorm sondergleichen also wirklich Ideal fr Diskus, Barsch oder einfach Groe Aquarien.

I have had many filters for my terrapin tank but this one is fantastic, keeps my tank water crystal clear for several months, quite expensive but worth it in the end, no more cleaning tank every couple of weeks, filter is very easy to clean as well, would recommend.
