Like other reviewers I found the mower easy to get to work straight out of the box with no assembly save for folding the handle back into position. It cuts well although the grass box isn’t huge and needed emptying three times (I have a small garden). My biggest criticism is the noise it’s much louder than any mower I have ever owned and I can only imagine that it will only get louder as it wears out. I’m not sure if I would buy this particular model again.

Golden Review Award: 29 From Our UsersI previously owned a Flymo Easi Glide 300D model for about 7 years …until two weeks ago, just starting the second cut of the year, a distracted, clumsy, senior ran over the mains cable; Cheers mum for the safety, power breaker device you insisted on buying me all those years ago.
This mower is lighter and seems less durable because of the thinner, less rigid plastic used in part of the construction but this is subjective. I am confident that Flymo will not have risked their reputation and will have carried out reasonable testing. The most obvious redesign is that the lid above the grass box now hinges forward and thus eliminates the irritating possibility of a disfunctional owner jamming the lid in the the folded handle. How would this happen? Well as some owners have complained, there is no cable tidy. I wind the cable hand to elbow and then store the majority of it in the grass box. If the lid is then opened to retrieve the cable before the handle is unfolded ….’D…, I’ve done it again!! The cable is slightly longer than before but why would it need to be longer still? Much easier to run over if there is plenty of slack cable lying around!
I only add an extension cable when my mowing reaches the top end of the lawn.
Grass cuttings blowing everywhere? Far less if the mower is pushed straight ahead. Whilst it can be used by swaying it side to side …more fun! The grass box is designed to take in the grass cuttings from a forward motion …look at the box yourself. Does not cut the grass short enough? Straight out of the box with only one spacer already in place, the setting is only useful for cutting the lawn when returning from a two week holiday. Add one extra spacer and the cut is good enough for the majority of British utilitarian lawns. Add three spacers and the lawn may look initially more manicured but it is weakened enough to have trouble in dry conditions without watering. Need your grass shorter still??Without much additional care weeds and moss problems will follow and you really need a more finely tuneable mower. Overall I was happy enough to order a near identical replacement mower to the one I previously owned. There have been a few improvements to this 300G but it’s main virtues are still intact
.I am currently very pleased with this purchase. Fit for purpose if you follow the instructions. (pic; after one cut with my new 300G fitted with two spacers) No link to Flymo or Amazon!

    A useful,good value mower.

Golden Review Award: 89 From Our UsersI had my reservations at first due to some of the reviews here even though I’ve been using Flymo products for years.
I have a medium size garden and the power cable is long enough for my needs.
Those who have said that the cable is not long enough must have massive gardens so no surprise that they need to use an extension lead.
With regard to the grass blowing out from under the mower, yes this does happen if the grass is very long. With first use (if the lawn is very long)it’s better to cut the lawn 2-3 times using the spacers for the blade. Once this has been done it picks up more grass. I find the collection box does a good job compacting the grass. My lawn was quite long and it only required 2 bags for emptying which I was surprised at due to the initial length of the grass.

The hoover function is absolutely brilliant, the use of the main motor to use the cyclone effect and funnel it into the ground to pick up what has been cut is so simple but so ingenious! In the future, id like to see these without wheels and just floating on the ground using the plastic rim but until then It’s still going strong!

Arrived and bought it on the back of the reviews here. Was using it within minutes and it did a decent job on a really bumpy lawn. I thought it was a bit plasticy and weak in terms of body and constrcution – and also bulky. Ive a small lawn, you might fit a big car on it – thats about it. So maybe a strimmer from the same brand would have been better. Cant fail the product though. Delighted to be able to cut the damn lawn.

Good little mower, no problem with it but the amazon product heading says its a 1400w. It’s not it’s only 1300w as per the flymo description.Had I seen this I’d have paid the extra fiver for the next model up.

Golden Review Award: 48 From Our UsersTOP QUALITY AT AN INCREDIBLY LOW PRICE !!! Great for me with my dodgy arthritic joints and bad back, as it’s so light in weight and almost does the job for you…….. grass box is so easy to empty………. and talk of “making a silk purse out of a sow’s ear” >>> our battered, uneven lawns now look like putting greens on a posh golf course.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe front gets caught on any little bump but I like the fact you have to actually undo the nut and change spacers to adjust the cut height. This way my wife can’t mess with the settings willy nilly, not that she actually cuts the grass.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersPurchased to replace our old Argos job from years ago.
Cuts the lawn well and generally hovers up the grass into a small bale that we can empty quite easily.

It can be a but iffy on the edges of the lawn where it meets the patio. I end up usually cutting the part with a pair of sheers. Its not what it was designed for anyway. Also as it reaches the edges grass can be blown all over the shop. Again, a typical behaviour of these hover type mowers.

Its not perfect but does what we need of it.

Arrived quickly and was exactly what I expected. Useful light mower. The cable is a bit short though and only just stretches to the end of the back lawn. As it is not separate, I can’t just use a longer one.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our Usersbrilliant lawnmower, bigger than i expected! powerful and makes light work of flat lawns, this new design isn’t as good as the older Flymos at going over slopes/bumpy edges and I didn;t find it as light but then my old one didn;t have grass collector on it, but still a great mower. grass collector is great & it also sucks up the leaves into the container which is helpful, a mower and garden vacuum in one!

A good performer, if a little flimsy. The key to keeping the hover capability is to keep it free of any cut grass build up on the vents under the collection basket. Doesn’t like slopes, great on the flat.

Bought this exact model 7 years ago and it had a lot of stick over that time. In the end the safety switch broke so gave that to a competent guy to fix and keep and bought a new one. If this lasts 7 years its great value for money.

Very east to set up, works great although if the grass is at all a longer then be prepared for grass to blow everywhere. I have put down a new lawn and needed to let it grow a little before first cut so was slightly messy. Have cut again the other night and far better now. Easy to clean as well and cord is a good length.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersYou get what you pay for I think – if you haven’t got a lot of grass or your grass is patchy and bumpy like mine then this is a good purchase that does the job and doesn’t take up a lot of room. If you want manicured grass and to pick up every cut blade then buy a more expensive mower 😉

This was a replacement purchase for a similar twenty year flymo. It works as expected. My only criticism is (that to save money?), unlike the older model there is no way to unplug the cable at the flymo end so that it can be plugged into other flymo products such as a strimmer. This also makes storage of the cable messier.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersBrilliant. I took it out of the box and it was nearly ready to go. Just had to adjust the spacer and plug it in. A light weight mower which is easy to use and gives a good finish. All of the grass cuttings were collected in the grass box. Only used it once, but I am confident it will be fine. We have used Hover mowers in the past and found them to be reliable.

Easy to use, move and carry. Great at collecting the cuttings. Is easy to control on slopes and is not fazed by uneven ground. Changing cut heights is a fiddly procedure; if you need to change heights frequently you may get fed up with having to play with a spanner and spacers. However if, like me, you stock too one setting, this new is perfec

This mower cuts quite well and makes a good job of picking up the clippings. I have to say that it is not as ‘easy a glide’ as my previous Flymo (which did not have wheels or grass collection) as it feels quite a bit heavier.

It literally lifts out the box, flick the handle up and ready to go. Lightweight to carry (feels a little plastically rather than the older solid style ones – but thats how you get it so light weight)

I found the grass basket filled up pretty quick, but i was fighting a jungle so it is likely going to be easier next time. It has x2 roller wheels under the front lip for when you touch the ground on hill edges which is a nice touch.

All in so far (early days) I would buy it again given the decision.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAfter 6 years I have just replaced my original easiglide, which tells you everything. Our garden is a 1:4 hillside (much of the slope former meadow) and the lightness of the machine makes the mowing easy. Self powered machines can’t cope with the uneven ground.
Why only 4*? Because the machine is clearly designed for small immaculately kept lawns and the rigours of my grass takes its toll on the joint between the base and the upper section of curved grey plastic which leads to the handle. Result: rattles and eventually severe vibration. Since there appear to be no fixings to tighten the end result is ‘buy another one’
…and in another six years I shall, again!

Very efficient, suprisingly light and easy to use. Prefers a very flat lawn as any reasonable bumps will ground out the mower as it only hovers a tiny bit. Great for the money though.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWe live in the wilds of the Finnish taiga forests in an old school with lots of grass which isn’t beautifully British bowling green smooth but has lumps & bumps, slopes and valleys and is, frankly a pain in the back to mow.I had an early electric Flymo for some years and it worked well but it chucked the mowed grass detritus all over the place and I had to rake it up and cart it around in a wheelbarrow to the compost. This is fabulous! Firstly it has a grass box so I just time the end of a mowing line to coincide with a cunningly created compost heap and empty it. Secondly it is a DREAM to use once you read the instructions ( “when all else fails, read the instructions” ) and learn how to use the pushing handle gubbins properly ( hint; push it DOWN, don’t lift it ! ) and like all Flymos ; it simply flies and you don’t have to push the weight of a mower around. It saves so much TIME and at this time of year when we are inundated by thousands of fallen leaves ; I just mow across the lot and it cuts the grass … AND … mulches the leaves and sucks them up all at the same time. This turns mowing the grass into a pleasurable activity which I can do without half killing myself … It also has the advantage of cutting so much on one grass box that I have time to enjoy a cold beer between boxes without feeling guilty.
    Strongly recommended.

When it arrived I thought it looked small then realised the one I’d had before was the 380. Rather than send it back decided to keep it. Glad I did now as even though I had to empty it way more than usual it’s nice and light and didn’t feel like an effort doing my lawn at all. Gave it a low cut with 3 spacers on and it looks brilliant. Changed it back to 2 now for when I cut it again. Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersWelcome back Flymo!
Last year I deserted Flymo whose lawnmowers I’d used for decades and purchased a petrol driven rotary mower. To begin with I was besotted with the superior finish on my lawns, not quite but almost like bowling greens. Then disillusion began to set in, it was heavy and unwieldy and didn’t like even slightly damp grass that if combined with longish grass, yeah I can be lazy, proved almost impossible. The faff with oil and petrol was a pain and it was pull cord start which though usually reliable could be frustrating hard work on occasions. What’s worse is that my wife who actually enjoys (!?) cutting lawns said it was too heavy for her and it was now up to me!
Last week (early March) my neighbour cut his lawns and I knew I would soon have to do mine, the weather was against me – we had a spell of fine weather so I had no excuse. I simply couldn’t face the petrol mower especially on the first cut of the year so ordered a Flymo similar to the ones I always used to have.
    Welcome back Flymo!
It’s ready to go straight out of the box though I did adjust the cutting height to it’s minimum first, 5 minutes with the supplied spanner and spacers. Plugged it in and off I went. It is light and easy to maneuver and the grass collecting box does a good job and seems not to need emptying too often. The finish of the lawn is good and looks attractive but not as closely cropped as I achieved with the rotary mower so I (or my wife) will have to cut lawns more often. There is a downside, I’d forgotten what a pain the power cord can be always where you don’t want it to be and with a magnetic attraction to wrapping around my legs, I suppose I’ll relearn the techniques to avoid this as I go along. That aside I am delighted to welcome Flymo back. My brother in law wants the petrol one as his mower is on it’s last legs so it will go, free to a good home. Btw my previous Flymo also went free to a good home, my daughters and is still working and is at least 7 years old.

I brought this mower for my family who use it more than me. They like it at lot, the mower is easy to clean and because it’s compact we can store in a unit in the garden. Overall in terms of performance it feels more powerful than a lighter mower that we bought many years ago but you’d expect that with the higher price.

I’m not sure there’s much else you can say about a mower after only a couple of months, it’s in 2/3 years that you find out the main things, durability etc.

But giving 4 stars because for 5 stars it’d need to last a few years. I will come back and amend the rating if it’s still going strong in 2019.

Lightweight and compact. Very easy to use. Folds away for easy storage. The downsides to all that of course is that the flymo doesnt hold a lot of grass cuttings. Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI purchased this to replace a 20-year old Flymo, which is still running perfectly and I have now donated to my neighbour. The new machine is very easy to use and empty, but I have sunken stepping stones in my lawn and these tend to upset the hover-function of the mower slightly. One thing I have noticed – to my surprise, this later version is more difficult to clean with a lot more inaccessible places making it difficult to remove all the grass, even with a hand brush! However, if it lasts as long as my previous one, I will not have any complaints.

Great little mower as expected, bought to replace an ageing flymo which died of the common flymo motor seizure. Basically the same as the old one with various cutting heights. I Set it at the lowest 1cm and it cut nice and neat and with ease. Annoyingly it has a filter surrounding just under the grass collection opening which always gathers dry cuttings so needs cleaning after each cut. Same goes for the underneath, some recesses cause clumps of grass to get lodged in them so you will need a small tool to clean it out. The rest of the underneath is easily cleaned and overall is well worth the money.

I was looking for a cheap, lightweight, foldable lawnmower for my small back garden. I first saw this one on a lightening deal but didn’t buy it at that point. A couple of weeks later the price came right down so I was really pleased I had waited.

This lawnmower is ready to go straight out of the box which is great. All you have to do is plug it in and lift up the handle and it is ready to use. To get it started you have to press and hold the button and then squeeze the handle. You can then let go of the button. I really like that there is a handle on both sides to power it so it is good for both left and right handed people.

The grass box is easy to empty – it just pulls out goes straight back in – no breakable clips or hinges. To lower the handle you squeeze the 2 sides together and then fold it down. It can then be carried with the plastic bit at the bottom of the handle.

The only negative with this is that there is no cable storage system with this – it would be really useful to have something to wind the cord round for easy storage but that is a small negative for what is a really good, easy to use lawnmower.

Golden Review Award: 35 From Our UsersI’ve never had a garden before my new home as I lived in a top floor flat (georgouois views). It a small garden probably about 15sq m, great as I don’t have time for gardening!

The grass eventually grew to the point even the Mrs commented on it, and when that happens it means the lazy, reluctant husband (me) has to do something about it!

The way my brain works is I have to research everything to death before I make a decision on how/what/when I should part with my hard earned cash…well actually I don’t work that hard but in the interest of trying to make my self look good….anyway back to the review

I’d heard of flymo before – I didn’t grow up in a box with limited contact to the outside world – so after 8 days of careful deliberation I picked this flymo.

I was dubious about the hover function (come on this isn’t back to the future and I’m not Marty mcfly) but it actually works!

It doesn’t hover like said hover board but it does sort of glide across the grass. Easy to on and off and the cable is quite long.

The bin is really easy to empty as long as it’s not windy ( or you get grass all over you face And your son decides to start calling you captain grass beard)

It has 3 spacers which allow you to cut the grass to 3 lengths. You have to use the supplied spanner to remove or add the spacers. Easy enough.

Although it collects 80% of the grass it still spitss some out…which my research tells me is a good thing because you create mulch. A good thing. Look it up.

Would I buy this again? No because I already have one hahah! Kidding! I would if I had didn’t have one. For 60 this isn’t cheap or expensive so it fits right in with my buying habits.

I took some before and after pics as they speak a million words (or something like that) so I hope it helps you make a decision.
This was done with 1 spacer, which is the highest setting and leaves the grass long/tall.

    Pros;
    Reputable brand
    Easy to operate
Kind of compact- when folded down but I have a garage to store it in so don’t have storage issues
    Does a good job

    Cons:
As the bin doesn’t have a window I have to stop every so often to check if it’s full
Bit of a pain to clean but all lawn mowers are (you have to break a few eggs to make an omelette)

    Grrrreeeeeaaa

Great little lawnmower for small to medium lawns. We can do both our small front and back gardens without having to empty it half way. Glides nicely and great value for money.

Has made cutting the lawn much MUCH easier, especially with the grass collection feature. Only thing that stops it having 5 stars is the lack of retractable cord

Lovely, light, easy to use after years of petrol mowers. I did cut through the cable on my second use but I’m used to it now! Doesn’t cut as quickly or cleanly as a petrol mower and a lot of the cuttings fly around still, but I’m very happy.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersBought to replace lightweight hover mower to cut banks sloping at 45 degrees down to a brook. Delighted with the purchase as it has proved perfect for the purpose. It was easy to fit all 3 spacers for a short cut; it collects the grass well and the box is big enough to avoid frequent emptying. Despite being 72 and not particularly strong, I was able to use the mower on the slopes without difficulty, even using one hand. Unlike its predecessor, it has a metal blade rather than the plastic blades that need changing regularly and a plastic spanner is provided for easy removal of the blade. It came with a generous 12 metres of cord. It is not a true hover as the previous machine was and can’t be swung sideways so easily, but the name ‘Easi Glide’ says it all; the rollers at the front help to make it very manoeuvrable and it does indeed glide easily. The design is excellent with the handle that folds flat without having to loosen any bolts, and the ease of carrying the machine. The motor is sufficiently powerful and, all in all, it was a very satisfactory purchase.
A previous report stated that the grass box has a large hole in it and that the grass falls out when the box is carried. Well, the ‘hole’ is the funnel that serves to suck the cuttings into the box and they do not fall out if it is carried by its handle.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersDoes the job. Cheap and not as disruptive to wet grass as a big petrol mower – but obviously nothing like as quick to use… Doesn’t exactly “glide on a cushion of air” on uneven grass – does need dragging around. Does catch most of the grass in the hopper which is easy to remove, empty and replace.

Very much lighter than my last lawnmower, which is want I wanted. The grass cuttings box filled up very quickly though, a bit of a nuisance. Early days at the moment if I consider it cuts the lawn well, it did the job first time out, Will use the psacers next time to lower the blade and see how it cuts?

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersThis is a product firmly in the highly competitive budget area and it does what it says it will brilliantly. Firstly the lawnmower is packaged well and delivered ready built. The handles fold into the mower when not in use making it a dream to store in the garage or garden shed. The cutting blade is supplied with a plastic wrench that will undo the nut holding it in place and give you the option of inserting one or to supplied spacers to lower the cutting edge nearer the grass. I had the mower working within 5 minutes of delivery and quickly determined that I wanted the grass shorter and so inserted one spacer (takes less than 2 minutes if like me you are not a handyman). After a once over of the lawn I put the second spacer in and am now totally happy with the end product.
The mower just floats long, picking up the majority of what it cuts into a handy internal bin, which is so easy to lift out and empty.
The 10m of cable was just right for me, and the mower made very light work of what is a huge chore from my perspective.
For this low price (which was 20 less than the B&Q website) it is a 5 star buy!

Golden Review Award: 115 From Our UsersHaving recently moved to a house which had a garden it was time to buy a lawnmower. Having previously used one around 10 years ago, I always remembered Flymo as being a great product. So, after reading numerous reviews I settled on this model which fitted my needs perfectly. Firstly I didn’t want a mower with wheels as these hover mowers are so easy to manoeuvre. I also wanted one that would collect grass, this makes the job far easier! Its also worth noting that the grass collector will also suck up leaves and other bits which is ideal. I have small/medium sizes lawns and the collector is fine. If you have big lawns you will need to empty it 2-3 times during a session.

The mower is easy to set up and use and I was up and running in no time. The cable is nice and long and the mower itself is light. It produces an even cut and the results were great. Highly recommended.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI brought this to replace my old Flymo which had finally died & this one is better – lighter & easier to use, came ready assembled to use, all I did was to add another “spacer” (one already fitted & two spare) to shorten the cutting height.
Cord was adequate length, no different to what I’d expected, I already had an extension lead so no problems there.
All in all, a good buy, recommened!

Excellent, light weight, was recommended to me by my by my gardener lady because I’m 84 and found my previous mower too heavy to push. Easy to empty the grass box. I give it four stars because as it is a hover mower you don’t get very defined stripes on the lawn.

Very good mower..light easy to use with plenty of power for a med size lawn, you do get the odd bit of grass from the side pod when box is nearly full but nothing to be to concerned about…Good price worth the money & fast delivery…

    A nice light mower.
Only criticism is that I find myself emptying it a lot. The grass collector is quite small & it kicks a fair bit of grass to either side of the mower.
Other than that it does the job ok.

The metal blade is a vast improvement over the models with the plastic blades. However, with that said, it still takes quite a lot of passes to get all the grass evenly cut to the same level and tidy. Also, it’s not at all clear to me whether the metal blade can be sharpened, or whether it has to be replaced all together when it becomes dull (it’s new at time of this review). As for Pros: Long cord, folds up nicely and can be sat on end in the shed, and has metal cutting blade.

  72. EthanPetersen says:

Lightweight, easy to manoeuvre, does a good job of cutting the grass. Doesn’t always pick up all the cut grass but this seems to be a problem with all mowers of this type. I’ve had lightweight mowers before that have been useless and other mowers that have been too heavy for me and too big for my small lawn. This one is perfect.

Cuts well, collects pretty much all of the cuttings, light easy to handle. The casing is all plastic, concerned how long it will last opening and closing the grass collection area.

It’s a compact, light and easily foldable lawn mower that could use a few more hundreds of watts – that is the impression if you let your grass grow a bit higher.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFlymo Easi Glide is definitely that! It’s easy to maneuver around your lawn you don’t need muscle and it cuts really clean – It has 12mts of cord which is ideal and two wheels at the front for moving it around the floor – The grass box holds enough to do a large lawn – It has 2 extra little discs so that you can raise the mower so that it gives a closer cut, which are easy to fit with the tool supplied. It doesn’t have a full box indicator window on this model but it’s not required just flip the lid if you want to check I have never needed it and I had one on my old Flymo also the other big thing I noticed about this mower is how much quieter it is to my old one which is a blessing love it.

  76. Kevin Parrish says:

A good cost effective mower ideally suited to smaller gardens as the collection box fills quickly. I found the mower to be very easy to maneuver compared to wheeled competitors and is therefore easy to throw around. The lead is ideal for what I need but I think some may find it a little short so keep in mind an extension cord may be needed.

All in all, I think it represents good value for money and would recommend. Yes the materials are flimsy but seem to fit for purpose and it does need to be lightweight after all!

Overall very good. The bit that collects the grass isn’t very big so you have to empty it a lot if you have a decent size lawn but you can’t complain for the price. A good buy.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI absolutely love this mower, I had only ever bought bosch or qualcast before this one and although I never had a flymo before saw one at a price I couldn’t grumble at so bought it .

I was most pleasantly suprised! My grass had grown a little longer than usual, actually it was probably about 3 inches long ! But this mower breezed through this brilliantly.

I didn’t find it at all heavy as other reviewers had mentioned , I have a rather large garden with bumos and dips and it took me around 30 minutes to get through it all, I think it will take around 15 minutes next time as I haven’t got to get through the long grass!!.

The cable was plenty long enough for my front garden and of course being bright orange I couldn’t accidentally run over it 🙂 .

Like I said I got this mower at a bargain price, but I would definately buy this at full price!

I am delighted with my Flymo 330VX Hover Mower, so light and easy to operate and does an excellent job. I haven’t had to do any gardening for over 10 years, as I lived in a flat, so having moved to a bungalow with an average sized lawn I was a little apprehensive if this mower would do the job, but it does! Very pleased and would recommend this product as excellent value for the money.

An improvement on the previous model in a number of ways: Better grass box design; smoother finish to underside helps reduce grass adhering to mower; redesigned blade has longer cutting edge; effective lift (Easiglide appropriately named unless the grass box is full); quiet and smooth. Supplied ready to go and I believe the cable’s longer. Downsides: Still chucks out lumps of wet grass unless you regularly clean the underside but not as bad as the previous model; cost of spare blades (akin to cost of printer cartridges relative to the printer itself). Contact with one or two stones enough to chip the cutting edge sending the blade off balance. I have the feeling that prolonged use with a blade even slightly damaged could eventually cause bearing failure – I’m sure this was the cause of my last Flymo demise. Overall would purchase another as this type of mower is very effective on uneven wet lawns.

This is a great buy. Trims my garden to 3 different grades and is very easy to use. Would have given it 5 stars but only issue is that grass fills the compartment pretty quickly. I have to regularly empty it. Other than that, I would definitely recommend.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersWe recently moved house and acquired a garden for the first time. I briefly did a bit of research into lawn mowers and felt this one best met our needs. Our garden is narrow and long with poor quality grass. I am not an expert gardener and needed a lightweight mower due to back problems. This mower has so far been brilliant. It was easily assembled, easy to start and easy to empty. Very pleased we opted for a Flymo.

Happy enough with the product. Nice and light as anything heavy would cause me a problem (dodgy hip), cuts my lawns just fine and easy to adjust the height of the cut using the spacers provided. Competitively priced – this was the cheapest price I could find for this model having compared the market.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI bought my first Flymo in 1970, it was still going strong 10 years later when I emigrated so when I came back 22 years ago, I bought another. Having had other mowers, nothing compares with the quality & ease of use of a Flymo. The only drawback with the earlier model was there was no grass collection & they were rather heavy. So, when I read about the Easiglide I decided to upgrade & gave my other to my neighbour, it still works well so she’s very happy with it. As for the Easiglide, what a pleasure, the folding handle makes it easy to transport, it’s lightweight & the built in roller means I can roll it along if need be.
The handle was a bit stiff at first, you need to squeeze it in at the base or it won’t fold down. There’s nothing in the user guide that mentions this.
At first there was a flurry of grass flying in all directions but the grass was very long as I’d been away for over a week while it rained throughout. However, I find if you push & pull rather like a vacuuming motion, as you pull it towards you, the grass gets sucked up through the vent in the grass box. The lid does seem a bit flimsy but it only aids to the lightness of the machine.
All in all, I am delighted with my Flymo Easiglide, plenty of cable & easy to clean.

Please with the mower. The blade looks a little lighter than my old flymo, but seems to cut grass. I used to hand my old lawn mover up, this one folds in half, but I fit it on top of some large plastic storage box now in the shed.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI am really pleased with this mower, it is light and easy to use. As I have a small garden it is eminently suitable. My previous mower was also a Flymo but a much larger one which I have had for many years with no trouble at all. I would have no hesitation is recommending this mower to anyone with either a small garden or a person who has not a lot of strength and finds the larger mowers difficult to use. This is small but excellent mower.

its lightweight enough for me to lift it out of the cupboard in the porch – I bought it for the front lawn to save carrying my other one through the house!
it was almost a pleasure to mow the front garden – not so much a lawn as a field at the moment, all lumpy and bumpy – but looked good when I had completed the job.

Really pleased with it. It is light and easy to use. The handle moves for easy storage and it is easy to carry.
It does however seem rather flimsy, the power cable is rather short and fits directly into the handle rather than into a plug socket situated on the handle.
Bought recently and used it 3/4 times. Can’t fault it mechanically.

Bought this to replace a larger model that had finally given up. This one is much lighter and quieter, and gives a good cut to the grass. I read some reviews complaining about the handles breaking, but, as long as you squeeze the ‘right’ side in first, it folds down without too much of a fight. So far so good, and very happy with my purchase.

I found this mower to be very good value for money, only downsides are, having to empty the grass container so often as I have such a large garden and I’m not quite sure how to change the cutting length of the blade… But it’s very lightweight and comes ready to use straight out of the box. So over all I’m very pleased with it.

While it would be good to have a greater diameter cutting blade this machine does what it says on the box. It’s much lighter than the one I had before, it’s very easy to assemble and it cuts perfectly well even on my very uneven lawn. I have no regrets about buying it.

Usual splendid and efficient service from Amazon in terms of receipt and delivery of the mower. As for the product itself calling it an “Easiglide” is very appropriate…it takes very little effort, is extremely maneuverable and light when moving it about the lawn. I personally found the grass collection box very adequate in terms of holding capacity and is easy to remove and re-instate.Whilst not a problem so far,I find the handle mechanism for switching the motor on/off to be a little flimsy and doesn’t always fit snugly in alignment with the outer frame of the mower…a potential problem, I don’t know. I may just being a little picky.
All in all an excellent product for a small/medium lawn, much less effort than my old mower which in comparison was like a tank to push around.
