This is easy to fit and comes with everything needed. Easy to flip it up and gives access to the rear of the robot mower. Great product and cheapest price I could find.
I purchased this as protection for my robot mower and it works well.
The shelter does not fit onto the existing base unit but sits around it and is attached to the ground with some steaks that are provided.
The entire top of the lid lifts up to allow for mower viewing when parked if you really need this.
If you want to spend the extra to protect the unit from rain etc. when parked, then I would recommend. But I feel like this is overpriced for what it is.
Hesitated to buy this because of the price but because other cheaper ‘garages’ were bigger decided on this one. It was easy to install and I feel a lot happier having my mower, and therefore it’s electrics, protected from the weather.
The missus said I could get a robot lawnmower if I got the house too. It does look good and does protect the mower from the weather so it was worth it, but it’s basically a bit of plastic for 100
Perfect, improves look of mower when docked and keeps my little robot dry.
Moulded plastic cover that’s more suffisticated than it appears. Not cheap but works well.
This product is waaaay overpriced. It also arrived a week late. Overall, it’s a nice addition to my Flymo EasiLife.
99 seemed a lot but it is large and keeps the little mower safe and dry. I don’t think it is a ‘must have’ item, but is a nice touch for the mower and will no doubt keep it looking great.
Does the job but very expensive for whag it is
It might be a bit pricey, but certainly does what it says it does and looks good in the garde
This product serves it’s purpose in protecting my mower in bad weather. It is easy to install but I think the price tag is somewhat excessive.
Product is an essential must have for owners of the EasiLife / Easilife Go range of robotic lawnmowers to protect with the UK’s unpredictable weather patterns ! The price for what it is questionable , but well made and easy to fit .
I think a necessary add on for the robotic mower. Issue I have is it is incredibly expensive for what it is, 100 and it should be part of the package as the mower was over 600. I have since seen that Flymo now offer this as a free accessory when purchasing the Flymo. A bit annoying to say the least. The functional aspects are as started on the tin and easy to install and use . Make sure you find retailer who offers this as part of main package. A friend who also bought the mower used a dog kennel as the housing. Cost him 20.
Expensive but protects our little mower and was very easy to assemble
Thought a little pricey for this plastic cover but does the job well. Covers up the robotic mower well keeping it safe from the elements. Easy to fit, needs a level surface as not much headroom for the mower. Looks good though.
Was advised by Husqvarna themselves to get this for our McCulloch S400 as they dont make a McCulloch specific one but this fits perfectly-and it does to be fair. Be careful not to ‘screw’ it too far into the ground around the base station though as if its a few millimetres too far down you get a scratch on the top of the mower where it drives in and out. There is VERY little room between the top of the mower and the roof.
Does what its supposed to though. Is expensive for what it is but easier and quicker than building your own house.
UPDATE: The roof is closer than we first suspected. My mower (admittedly a McCulloch S400 as previously stated-although advised by the ‘parent’ company it would fit) has superficial scratches on the top from when it goes in and comes out of the charging station. On a few occasions I’ve found it snagged on the roof at an awkward angle when it’s tried to return and ive had to lift the lid and manually put it back. The most frustrating part by far is that for the past few weeks every time its seemed to dock ok it hasnt come back out again at the next specified time. I noticed the app kept saying STOPPED-MANUAL ACTION REQUIRED as opposed to DOCKED or CHARGING. If i went out and turned it on with the button off it went again until the next time it docked.
After countless emails and phonecalls and software updates (I thought it was a software issue at first!) I’ve recently realised that if I leave the roof tipped up it works fine, and 90% of the time the roof is down it stops again.
So I’m going to unscrew the house, lift it a bit and refit it to see if that sorts it.
Its still a cool house for the mower, if a little expensive, and Im still pleased with it. I thought I’d include this update in case anyone else is experiencing the same as me and its driving them as crazy as it has me over the past month or so.
And if you’re thinking of buying it-especially for a McCulloch then make SURE you fit it with some room to spare at the top!
The product itself is awesome, but the cost feels like robbery. “Yes, I bought a 600 quid robotic lawnmower but to protect it from the elements you gotta pay extra for our margins”
We did consider making a little house for the newest member of the family but due to a sunny Bank Holiday weekend and not being able to buy materials easily during lockdown we decide to buy this ready made one. Fits perfectly and looks very neat . Just can’t believe I spent 90 on a piece of plastic. I would like to think the price of these will come down in time .
