One battery faulty. Maybe just my bad luck. Contacted seller which promptly sent a replacement drone, not just the battery. Didn’t even wanted me to return the drone with the faulty battery so now got 2 drones. What can I say, double 5 stars rating.
This drone is a great drone for an affordable price. I had no problems with it right out of the box. I’ve bought a few drones from Amazon and unfortunately had to return some. This drone I didn’t have any problems. In fact I liked it so much I bought another one so I’d have a backup and my som and I could fly together. The 3 speed option is nice too for beginners.
This drone is very easy to use and a great gift for someone who has never had a drone. It’s easy to control and the app allows for great videos from high above. Would definitely recommend for novices or someone who is just getting into flying drones.
Compared to other drones I’ve gotten for my kids, this seems more durable and rugged. Remote is easy to learn and I love the one touch button to land. Makes it easy for my 10 year old and for even his younger siblings!

I bought this drone as a replacement for a different drone my 9 years old lost on his initial flights (different brand). My initial experience was great, the easy take-off and landing works great, the drone functionality to rover in place helps a lot with kids learning how to fly, and the flip function makes everything super fun.
Kudos for having a second battery in the kit; which give us enough time to play.
We got this for our 11 year old son and he loves this drone. We have been flying this drone in the park 3-4 times a week ever since we got it. It got stuck in the tree, but the wings are still going strong.
My 6 year old learned how to fly it too.

This is very fun and to use, read the user manual. learn how to start , and I found pressing the speed switch button makes it easy to control, it will stay at one level with the speed switch button, then just learn to fly back and forth, right and left. After that ever thing gets easy to do. to add phone just download the app. and use the wifi network,
to pair with the drone. Have fun, its great time!! Just dont use it inside the house, go outside with a lot of room.

This was a gift for my husband and it was his first drone. He absolutely loved it. Once he got the hang of the controls he found it very easy to use. Only one time the wind caught it and it crashed but thankfully it came with extra pieces. Overall this was a great unit to start with.
This is my first drone and it has been easy to use and operate. I would recommend it to other beginners who are looking for a drone that is user-friendly.
Bought 4 of these for Christmas gifts – 3 for sons in law, 1 for me, just because. We were all out on Christmas afternoon flying them. There is little to assemble and had them up and going quickly. There was a little wind but they handled pretty well. The 3 settings for speed of response made it easy to control even as beginners. Fairly durable, struck a few trees without damage. Only negatives were that the rotor guards seem to come off too easily with collisions, resulting in trying to find them. The iPhone clamp on the remote is a little too shallow for the phone in a case, resulting in it coming off easily. Over all a good purchase for the price for someone wanting to try out a drone for the first time
Bought this for my gadget-addicted dad for Christmas, and he was pleasant surprised. Controls took some getting used to for him, but so far so good. Keep in mind these were only indoor flights, weather has not been good enough to fly outdoors yet. I’ll try to update once that happens.
He is still learning how to use it. We are getting ready to move to a farm where he will have a lot more space to maneuver. But so far he really likes it.
Were excited about this drone, it is fair price for the quality. So far we have been very happy with the battery life and the performance being a cheaper drone I am glad I didn’t spend a lot of money on another one.
The Dragon Tough DF01 drone was pretty easy to get going without much time at all. We especially liked the ability for it to be folded up and carried in a “small package” to anywhere (at least where drones are allowed to be flown anyway). The quality is good and the automatic return feature is very helpful. We still have more to try with it using the app, but overall it’s been a lot of fun for the price!
Purchased the Dragon Touch drone to familiarize my kids with flying a quadcopter. It is easy and fun to fly and durable. Unfortunately, I can also tell you to not place it on your steps, because it cannot withstand a 200-pound person stepping on it!
I bought this for my husband for Christmas. It was a little hard to learn how to take off and land initially, so I recommend doing it in an open field with no obstacles. Broke a blade and lost a couple screw covers in the initial flight tests, but luckily it came with some replacements.
As for the camera, it works great, but you do have to connect your phone to the drone wi-fi to get it to work, which was a little confusing at first but once I got it going the quality of the photos and videos is great!
If you’re looking for a decent drone to get an understanding of the world of consumer drones than this is a good start. The drone controls fairly well for the price but still has flaws. It doesn’t want to hover in place and is really prone to a slight wind drift however I still found this drone to be forgiving to the beginning learner such as myself even after a couple of mishaps. Use your rotor guards while learning to fly it! They provide a little protection but better than nothing. Would recommend to someone who is mildly interested in drones but doesn’t want to spend all the money.
This was my first experience flying a drone, it was easy to learn to use. It was a great value for the money.
To start off, I purchased this drone as a Christmas gift for my kids. I’ve wanted to get them something they could both enjoy during the pandemic, and to take good pictures. The instructions were basic in the manual. Not a lot of helpful info. The downloadable app is a great idea, but not super intuitive and hard to understand. I’m still trying to figure it out. But the drone itself is pretty cool. Neat tricks and flips are possible. And once the app works better should be easy. I wish my iPhone 10 fit in the holder easier, especially within its case. It comes with a few extra blades which is great since if you are a novice you’ll hit branches and break the blades. The screw tops that hold the blades on come off way too easy though when flying, and that is annoying. But beyond that, this was a good gift for a good price. I just wish the instructions were easier to understand for controlling it.
I got it for my kids’ Christmas as one of many things we purchased. We tried to use it inside first. Though we have 12″ ceilings, I suggest taking it outside in an open area. It flew too close to my TV and almost damaged the screen. Make sure that there is no wind or rain. It will fly with the wind, and you will have to run and catch it before you lose it. That’s what happened to us, it got away and got stuck in a tree. It’s very light and the props/blades are very thin so be careful. Video and flight controls are easy to learn. Not bad for beginners.
Pros: inexpensive, easy to understand controls, good picture, relatively good battery life for drone this small (get a second battery)
Cons: Props/blades seem flimsy, remote looks cheap, no sound on videos.
I love this thing! The video is amazing and it flies great indoors. Outside the controls get a little loose ( not very responsive) but does the job. Great for beginners like me.

The kids very love the drone and fight over it who gets to fly first. Really nice that the drone folds up very small and doesn’t take up a lot of space to store. Also for beginners it’s a really nice drown easy to learn to fly and the remote control is really easy to understand. Perfect drone for kids!!
We got this drone for our 10 years old child. Its very fun when you get used to and learn how to control. For the practice in the beginning I would suggest to start from the big open spaces to feel the remote and don’t end up with the drone somewhere on the roof or the tree.
This drone is easy to set up and use. The controls are simple and only take a little while to get used to. Battery life is a bit short, but it’s true to the product description. It’s pretty durable too, I crashed this thing four or five times when I first got it and it still works fine. It can go a fairly long distance as long as you maintain a clear line of sight to the drone. I’ll be on the lookout for more products from these guys if I ever have some spare cash.
I bought this drone as a Christmas present for my boyfriend. For a beginner this drone is perfect. He asked for one for Christmas so that he could scout out new areas for hunting. This drone had all the options he needed. I bought a hard case for it so that he could carry it in the woods and keep it protected. The packaging was awesome, and it came with well detailed instructions on how to fly. Plus, there is a downloadable flying app! We went for hike in the mountains, and he brought the drone with us. He has never really flown a drone before, and I found out he never read the directions as he was setting it up. So I was trying to speed read to give him enough information to do some basic maneuvering. He picked an area I disagreed with, because it was on the side of a mountain covered in woods and a waterfall. Well, you all can guess how this went. It went up in the air and it never came back. It now turned into a recovery mission. Scaling down the side of mountain and almost falling into a gorge, he finally gave up and admitted defeat. In the end, the 5 seconds of flight was awesome, I just wish we could have had more time with it.
This is great drone for beginners, it comes everything you need.
I bought this for my husband for Christmas (2020) & he LOVES it!!! It was coincidental that he got two for Christmas, one from me & another from somebody else. He BY FAR prefers this one over the other brand. Great product!!!
My 11 year old son loves it! Very easy to set up and control! He loves that it does tricks easily without having to figure out a bunch of different buttons to maneuver the flips. My husband even plays with it alot!
Upon initial set up and trial everything seems to be really nice and working great! So far for the price I would definitely say it’s worth it.
Instruction Booklet writing is extremely small and instructions on calibration could be a little clearer.
First off, this is the best drone out there for this price. packaged well, included in the box is the drone, controller, extra blades, but only one battery, at this time, but I have read that some packages contained two.
Controller seemed very plain, drone felt very light, but not that flimsy, controller seemed okay as needed. Followed steps in instruction booklet to connect the controller to the drone, worked first try without any problems, my only complaint here is the small print and size of the instructions. I had to scan and blow up the instructions, so it was a bit easier, (for me, at least) to read.
Downloaded app, no problem. Connected app to drone and on first try, everything worked as designed.
The most important part of this review is to explain how great the customer service is, I had a small issue, emailed them, and received a very fast response. I messed up and needed them to help me correct the problem, very fast reply, and everything is good again, you do not receive that kind of customer support these days from others. Very pleased, and happy to share my experience with this supplier. Enjoy, and you will not be disappointed, especially at this price.

The Drone is great, i only have one comment, one of the batteries (Pack x 2) is not charging ok, i think is the female USB conector into the battery itself because the other one charge without problems, how can I get warranty for it?
Very easy to operate and easy to learn. Mobile device funtion is awesome.
So far so good! Very responsive, great video quality and functions! Have taken it out a bunch of times and the battery has lasted really well. Go for the VS FPV PRO app vs the regular one for better functionality and responsiveness, we learned that after the first go-round. Also, it’s worth getting a VR adapter for your phone, the VR mode is super cool!

The price was reasonable, Arrived sooner than expected, was Pleasantly originally bought it for my kid, but thought I’d give it a try, surprised at the easy learning curve. after about 30 min. was flying with the confidence of a teenager! Not bad for a 50something Kid! 🙂
If you want to learn how to operate a drone and don’t want to spend a lot of money, this is a good choice. Once you learn how to calibrate it and understand the remote control, it becomes a good toy. It could be a little difficult to control on windy situations, but other than that is great.
This drone was a great buy for the price. I bought it as a gift for my grandson. It was easy to learn how to use it. He is a beginner and found the drone to work well. The instructions were easy for him to understand. Operation was easy. He was very pleased with the drone!
First, all of my comments must be filtered through this thought: This is my first drone, as well as the first one I’ve ever flown. With that in mind, I can say that it’s obvious that it can perform better than I’m able to make it perform, at this point in time.
The Good: The batteries provide ample playtime, the craft seems to be fairly durable, and I believe that it will last me a decent period of time.
The Not-So-Good: One of the rotor guards will not stay installed, regardless of which rotor it’s installed on. Admittedly, it doesn’t come off at random times, but it will surely detach when I have a disagreement with a tree branch. Also, the little silver dust / hub caps that keep the rotor screws clean are also quick to dissociate themselves from the drone upon pilot failure. Thankfully, the manufacturer has included some extras (and extra rotor blades) with the drone (GOOD thing!).
Overall, though, this is an enjoyable “toy” that didn’t break the bank to buy
Since I have been camping/backpacking more I wanted to get a drone and get some cool shots while I am out, but I did not want to spend hundreds or thousands on a fancy brand. For under 100 bucks, this drone does not disappoint. It is very easy to set up and pairs with my iphone easily, and the image quality is great.
This little drone is great for anyone from beginner to pro. Flies well and sends great video back to your smartphone.

This drone has two ways of controlling it: you can use the physical remote or use your phone and the drone’s built-in wifi. Using the controller is easy; it works like any first person action game so it works the way you expect it to– up/down, rotate left/right, steer left/right. A 12 year old who was using it with me mastered it in about 30 seconds. The phone app is more complicated, but also more powerful. It allows real-time video to display on your phone from the viewpoint of the drone. It feels a bit like you are on it and it’s very cool. You can also snap still photos or save the video. The picture isn’t amazing, but it is better than I expected. The rechargeable batteries lasted longer than I expected. My only quibble is that you can’t aim the camera straight down. It can face downward, but not directly downward. Trying to get a picture of my house from above wasn’t that easy given all the trees I have and I couldn’t just fly above it. If you’re considering getting into drones, this is a great one to start with.
The Dragon Touch DF01 is an interesting drone to use. It’s quite responsive and easy to maneuver. Flying it at various speeds is a cinch to change. The app which comes with the drone is simple and easy to use. Found that the video quality of the camera was great for a device at this price point.
Came packaged well. Pleasantly surprised by extra battery, spare set of propellers, and tool for charging props. One page of the operations manual was not cut right and could not read all text. But manual is available online fortunately and pretty straight forward. The guards that protect the outside of the blades were not referenced in the manual. I accidentally found those parts when lifting the whole tray out of the box. Those are important to protect the blades when operating. One fell out when flying so I landed it and had to put it back in. So key learning is to ensure those guards snap in properly. Also do not try to operate indoors. The first time I tried it upon lift off the drone drifter forward by itself and fortunately crashed into my couch. Once outside I had more room to learn the controls and found them easy to learn. Although I did continue to experience drift when hovering that I had to adjust for. The one step button for take off and landing is key as new operator. Overall I am impressed by the capabilities for the price.
Very fun drone bought it for my 8 year old cousin and he and his dad absolutely love it.
This is the first drone we purchased. My son and husband love it. It’s a great beginner drone. They spend a lot of time at the park playing with it. Because my husband has big hands it’s a little hard for him but no other complaints at all.
This is a good beginners drone. It was easy to set up and connect to my phone to get started. I had trouble at first because I am brand new to flying drones but as soon I got the hang of which way things were going I could control it. The seller was easy to work with and it arrived quickly.
Hello, just writing that I liked the fact that this drone was so easy to operate and it folds up so small to carry places as well. It is a very high powered drone for the price. Excellent quality and I like the extra blades and blade protectors as well. I have been using this for recreational purposes. I also have been abiding by the drone regulations in my state. This is a great product for the price, and is a lot of fun to play around with. The directions to set it up could be improved/added to, but once you get the app set up it works well. The design is very light, so when it says to only use in proper conditions, it means it. I found slightly breezy conditions to be too difficult to compensate for. That said, it’s tough to find a drone that works this well, at this price, and in good conditions it responds quite well.
First drone so I didn’t want to spend hundreds of dollars but wanted something that isn’t just crap.

Loving this drone so far! It is so easy to fly and control and has a ton of cool features to make it even easier to play with. It’s very small and compact to it’s easy to bring with you and includes a carrying case. The 2 batteries are nice but I do wish they would last a little longer but not the biggest deal. The camera is very good on this. Check out the photo from it I got of the Las Vegas strip. I’m a beginner when it comes to drones and this is very easy to use. So if you are a beginner this could be the perfect started drone!
Great overall for starter drones for the price. This will help you learn how to fly a drone. For the camera quality what you would expect for the price. it will take pictures and video but they are grainy but works. It comes with extra propellers.
The batteries last about 10 min per battery so you get a total of 20 min of flight time with switching the batteries.

Unboxing-
packaged well, in box is the drone, controller, extra blades, two batteries, charging cord, and instruction booklet. First impressions, it is nice that the four arms fold in, making the drone very compact and easy to store. Especially if you remove the blades. I definitely recommend keeping the box to keep everything in for as long as you on this. drone and controller are very plain, drone felt very light but not flimsy, controller seemed chunky and buttons rattled a little bit.
Setting up-
One battery came installed and was already charged=good. Put three batteries in controller, they are not included. Followed steps in instruction booklet to connect a controller to drone, worked first try. Followed instructions to calibrate, work first try.
First flight-
as I have already flown a drone before this part was easy for me. The controls worked great. Wondered initially why movement was so slow but then remembered the drone has a slow medium and high speed. And those speeds once I figured that out, they worked…well…low medium and high. I enjoyed the high setting, but it was great to hand controller to my daughter on the slow setting. This first flight I did not use the app or camera, wanted to see how flight controls work. Battery lasted about nine minutes on first flight on high setting. Landed drone to change battery and try with the app/camera.
Second flight-
Downloaded app, no problem. Connected app to drone on first try, worked fine. Once in flight, the frame rate is really slow but the picture is pretty clear. Tried taking videos and pictures, worked perfectly. Tried the 360 flip, worked no problem. Tried out the one touch landing, worked no problem. This second flight was all on slow setting for me and my daughter to fly, battery lasted about 13 minutes. If you are used to a drone with GPS, this drone does not have GPS. It will hover if you release the controls but any wind will move it in a horizontal position. With the slight breeze, this was a little difficult for my daughter, a beginner, to figure out. As with any flying aircraft. Please learn to fly in the largest open space that you can possibly find. Until you learn directional controls, it’s real easy to end up in a limb very quickly.
We stopped playing for about 30 minutes and when I checked on my battery charging from the first flight, it was fully charged, I don’t know if it took 30 minutes or 10 minutes, but after 30 minutes she was ready to fly again.
For the price I paid for this drone, with camera, with no GPS, it was definitely worth it.
This complete review is based on the first day I had it, I will update it if I have any issues going forward.
This is the second Dragon Touch product i own, first being the GoPro like camera. I was impressed with the Dagon touch Camera too. Was every bit as good as my $500 Go pro. This drone was super easy to use. Calibration is very important. The people that had issues with trim needs to calibrate first. I had experience with another drone so i knew this. Calibration is very easy to do in, just follow the instructions. The camera on it very clear and very easy to use in conjunction with your smart phone. I flew on a semi windy day and was still easy to control. The battery lasted easily 10-15 minutes per battery pack. It is a great bargain for the price. Just as good as some $100+ drones that I have seen.
