Excellent watch with lots of data
I returned this watch from Amazon due to it being faulty and bought the solar version elsewhere at a cheaper price. So shop around for deals first.
I have had numerous sports watches and the 6X Pro is the best of them all. It has all the usual stats and measures respiration, body battery, pulse ox amongst others. I bought it specifically for the GPS maps so I can go hiking without needing to carry a map. The battery doesn’t last as long as stated unless you deactivate some elements. Overall an excellent purchase.
Amazing piece of ki
After 3 years of recovering from illness I bought this to help motivate me back into a more active lifestyle. Having owned a basic running watch years ago. Garmin 410 I am amazed at the variety of functions this watch has. So far used it for Gym workouts. Swimming, cycling and walking. Simple to use and set up out of the box. Highly recommended this for multisports enthusiasts it’s an absolute Gem
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Watch
Does everything I need for running, cycling, sleep tracking, swimming, triathlon etc
Great watch
Upgraded from a FitBitt and this is incomparable. I’m really happy with my purchase its made getting fit a lot easier and I am now adicated to reading the stats and being able to map my progress each day.
Great fitness watch
Wife is really happy with this watch. Amazing battery life and perfect for everything she needs to track her fitness. No issues at all.
Only issue I would say is that the app doesn’t let you customize your metrics such as kg for weights and miles for bike – km for running etc… Would be super useful as someone from England to be able to do this.
Excellent watch
Fantastic watch, with brilliant features.
Sadly I had to return mine as because it’s the X model it’s just so big. And I’m not a small chap.
Went for the 6 pro solar instead which I find a lot more comfortable
Upgrades from 5s its better but not perfec
6s pro: what is better than my 5s – it has music, better heart rate tracking, blood oxygen level tracking and maps, all of which were upgrades from my 5s. Its also smaller than my 5s with the black bezel rather than silver and looks ‘sleeker’. The screen is slightly higher resolution which makes some of the watch faces look nicer and it has the updated UI which is better than the older 5 series. It now takes my heart rate under water which is a nice to have as I do a lot of swimming. I also find it syncs with my garmin connect much faster than before which is great. The watch can now connect to wifi but and connect to my amazon music account directly which is cool.
Now to the downsides – its not perfect. I actually find the battery lasts slightly less than my old 5s did. Which is a shame as I tend to do a lot of distance events which require battery for 10+ hours with GPS and this watch can ‘just’ about make it. I can’t say I’ve noticed the gps being any better than before, even though it supposed to be more accurate.
I’m glad I upgraded but am a little disappointed with the same battery life as before.
Fantastic watch for the money
Amazing watch maps tracking all fantastic on this Garmin would recommend for anyone who loves the outdoors life
This is my first smart watch, I decided to take the plunge this 2022 during Black Friday week.
I suffer from arterial flutter and so though it would be handy to have a contestant rate measure. Having had several catheter ablations (burning out nerves in the heart) I can not longer feel what my heart is doing, so I had to purchase a quite expensive blood pressure monitor that can also detect AF. Of course this is a big piece of kit and not really mobile.
So far the heart rate reading measured against my blood pressure monitor are spot on accurate. The sleep measurement also seems quite accurate as checking it after waking and feeling like I could have done with another few hours it des say poor rated sleep and alternatively when waking up feeling like I slept for days, it says I had a good sleep. It provides measurements for the time you were light or heavy sleeping, the time you were in REM and time you were awake.
The alarms are neat and have thus far woken me up at the required time. I do not use it for exercise as my choice of fitness workout is Inline and roller skating. An activity not covered by Garmin and so far I have not found an app or widget that is really correctly designed for skating.
The battery life is outstanding. As mentioned I have the health sensors on full time as well as the GPS trackers and blue tooth connected to my watch providing notification’s and several other bits of info and I get a couple of days over the indicated14 days from a full charge (. Out of the two days that have thus far been sunny the solar face over an hour and a half of constant exposure to the sun gave me back around 2% of battery). So whilst I do not think it would be possible to run this on solar alone, when summer arrives I expect to get at least another week out of a charge. Also if I chose to run it in battery saver mode, turning off all the sensors and GPS, it indicates that it will give me nearly a month on a full charge. Eat that Apple, you I’watch users.
Garmo
Brilliant watch. Smart features are a bit flaky and not a touch screen. Garmin pay is very limited and awful unless you have a card from a middle earth bank. Fitness features are outstanding. I did consider returning it. Still hanging on with it and hoping I’ll get used to it.
Later update: 1. You have to have the app open on yr fone in order to get notifications and 2. I cannot get outlook to sync never mind display notifications. I’m still inside the 30 day periodand I’m really tempted to return this watch.
Update 3 month in. I love it it’s great.
I’ve had a few Garmin watches the last bein the instinct which is a great watch and tracker. When I saw this fenix for the price I didn’t hesitate I know the new model is out but this still packs a punch. I train Muai Thai so this tracks my cardio really well. The heart rate monitor is on the ball and the sleep tracking is also amazing…
Watch which works.
I’m not very in the sport and fitnes. But I love to swimming and for this reason my previous watches stopped to work. Battery life as well is must have for me. And finally I have watch with very good battery life and I can swim without worrying. I can’t give review about rest of features, but as it says ultimate sport aupport.
Multiple training
The watch was difficult at first as used to hawaii watch with touch screen,
But getting used to it and really like the watch it’s lighter than the Hawaii, and is little smaller but the multi function for training is grea
I bought it six months ago and my previous tracking device was Fitbit Versa 3.
Well, well, well, what a change.
I took this device mainly because of swimming, however on every step I was pleasantly surprised.
Used it once for running and showed up pretty accurate. Bicycle use was great as well.
Swimming was a bit touch and go.
It gets pretty easily confused sometimes by a stop mid lane and adds one length.
Sleep tracking works mostly ok. Couple of times I found that ten minutes or so it hasn’t switched off my sleep cycle.
However the battery is terrible! About four to five days with all the functions running 24/7
Generally quite happy with i
Quality @ Bargain Price =)
I’ve had the Garmin Fenix 3, 5 & 6…The 6 Pro is by far the best to date. Seamless connection to bluetooth headset means no carrying around a phone, the memory also holds hundreds of tunes and buttons are easy to navigate =)
Great Watch for Hiking
Great watch for the purpose I bought it, I love stats and that is what I get.
I am not convinced the heart rate monitor is accurate mind you, but data fields are perfect for my requirements.
I am pleased with this purchase – I bought it to help with my rowing training. It is, however, capable of lots more. I fear I’ll never get best use from it because I’m just not aware of all it can do. Minimal help from the written information that came with it and info on t’internt is overwhelming.
Overall I’m still pleased (esp with battery life – around 15 – 20 days per charge.)
It's big
Moved up from 235. I know it was big but was not expecting it to be this big – and heavy. It is also hard and probably
impossible to fasten down if you have a slimmer wrist. I will likely stick with the 235 for races and use this for long runs and exploring.
Brillia
Really great watch
Love this watch. Does everything I need it to and has a very good battery life. It is also light making it easy to wear all the time.
Brilliant watch
Amazing running watch . Had it a week before I knocked it and scratched the glass gutted. The gorilla glass is supposed to be scratch resistant not true get a screen protector before you use this watch . Otherwise an amazing watch
Very good battery life, reliable multifunctional fitness watch.
Chunky on the wrist, but it does come with lots of features. The battery life is amazing and also have low power mode which pushes the battery further. Takes a bit to get used to and use all the features but once you get familiar, it’s a good multifunctional sports watch
Awesome watch
Brilliant watch. Great for golf and running. Battery lasts ages
Brilliant huge lump of a watch!
Brilliant watch, just bear in mind of its size, easy enough to set up. I put a protective case on it , but then made it look even bigger! Battery life is immense, you’re talking days not hours .If you’re in the market for a multisport smartwatch, won’t be disappointed.
Great battery life, waterproof for swimming
It feels comfortable, the strap looks smart. I use it for running, cycling and swimming. The daily workout suggestions are grea
Good one but not worth the money
Like:
mature OS
Perfect Heart tracking
GPS is good most of the time
Dislikes:
Sleep tracking can be better
Struggles in thick tree cover
Display should be better for this price
Costly for these features
Denis 6X
Wasn’t as large as I expected but I prefer this larger size, more polished app than other watches I’ve had, accurate, screen is filtered and visible in bright conditions which is a major plus for me,good build quality though expensive price point but goes on sale at a better price point occasionally.
Great bit of kit Garmin love the unit, however
I Bought it with intention of using it in conjunction with Amazon music as advertised but the Amazon Music App is not available in the Garmin store in Ireland (it’s in the UK ) and is an Amazon decision confirmed by Garmin support.
Amazon has a large footprint in Ireland and i have prime in Ireland can’t figure out why Amazon doesn’t include The App In Ireland extremely frustrating and disappointing.
Amazon ??
Running watch
Great watch price dropping all the time now a new model is out
Does everything in need in an activity watch
I have decided to buy this Garmin because my apple watch was not apple to track my long bike rides.
I am very happy with the watch in general. However, it took me a while to get used to the lack of touchscreen.
PROS: I did a few scuba dives with it (-20m) and it worked fine.
Battery lasts a lot. I can track at least 10h worth of activity with no issues
Contactless payments
Ant+ support – I can connect it to my power meter
Supports lots of sports
Sleep monitoring
Charges fast
CONS: I also wanted to use the maps function to navigate on the rides but I found that difficult.
Garmin pay is limited to a few banks
Love it. Got so many useful widgets and useful feaures
I really like thsi which replaces my Garmin 3 Saphire. Has many useful widgets and covers all my sporting interests. The only things I would like added is timer/countdown feature in the boating app, for race starts, and more customisation options for the watch face.
Great. Just not in the water.
Great. A must buy.
Just quite rubbish in the open water swims
Great piece of kit. Has everything I need for my training purposes!
The watch is excellent and has everything I need, and more, for my training requirements.
Recommend it.
Great watch!
After purchasing direct from Garmin’s site, on the same day Amazon dropped the price! Even Garmin couldn’t match it and it was returned! Complete bargain, love the watch and very happy with Amazo
Great piece of tech.
Can’t really fault this watch as a whole. Great features and most fucntions are easy to use. There are some areas where better explanations on how to use the apps/widgets would really help…
Having had it for a few months now, the only real negative i have is that with hindsight i should have paid the extra money for the latest model as some new, key features aren’t available with this version.
I always had an Apple watch and I was reluctant to move to another brand. A friend using Garmin persuaded me to try. I bought it when it was on offer on Amazon and loved it ever since. It’s a great smart watch, a lot more accurate than the Apple watch and the battery last longer. I had to charge the AW every day just using it for one workout. Two start for battery life as it is advertised as lasting something like 8 days. I have to charge it every three/four days which is obviously a big difference to 8 days however it’s a bliss not having to charge it every single night!
It takes a while to get used to some of the functions but once you get the gist of it it’s really a great watch.
Great watch
Hi. This is a great watch,it looks good and functions well. Nice features very accurate gps, steps counter ok. Sleep tracking good. Compass feature good for geo tagging
Battery life ok when no gps used like 1 month but once its switched on its reduced to days or hrs. Solar charging I’m not sure if it makes a lot of difference yet as its not been that sunny.
Garmin connect app is well polished and easy to navigate.
Awesome
Does everything. Heart rate monitor on the 6x not as reliable as old Iwatch but everything else is awesome.
Incredible watch
Does everything I need of it and more, no issues with accuracy..comfy to wear..Mega watch!
Battery life is excellent, longest run so far with it has been about three and a half hours and it was only down fifteen percent. Run daily and tend to only charge once a week.
The battery life is because of the GPS chipset change and although its marginally less accurate its not noticeable.
Screen is great, nice and clear. You can show a lot of metrics, it’s a chunky big watch with it the screen is comfortable to read when moving and it makes maps easier to follow.
Probably the best GPS watch on the marke
Good rugged watch, very readable even on map, easy software link to phone and excellent battery life. Love i
Great purchase!!!
Since buying this watch it’s motivated me to do more exercise. After each exercise session the watch and the app gives you great feed back on the workout you’ve just done so you can improve on future workouts.
Would definitely recommend this watch at a great price as well.
I know it’s a sports watch but not being toucb screen makes navigation clunky from my view point! I’m sure some will disagree! The actual watch face, clarity, battery life etc is excellent. Sits high off the wrist need decent size cuffs to cover i
Grea
Upgraded from my polar grit X to this I’ve always avoided Garmin favouring polar as I have years of running data. But I have to say I wish I’d moved over to Garmin earlier the battery life on the X is unreal compared to the polar grit X. For that alone it’s worth the upgrade. I love the map function I like how it can give you ordnance survey positions for hikes. It really is a good around watch.
Got the watch after a huge mix up of sending an empty box, however to my relief Amazon sent a replacement the next within a couple of days, the watch looked felt fantastic, but one thing let it down, there was no tocuh sceen, its all buttons, i researched the new one, thought save some money and buy last years model not knowing it wasn’t a touch screen, well i returned it and gone with the 7 solar sapphire, just not have to wait for the release date
Best in the market yet!
By far the best battery life! The mobile app is neat, fluid, and easy to use. Integration between the workouts and Garmin Coach work perfectly! I come from the Apple Watch world… And I don’t regret it.
Amazing watch worth every penny!
This watch can be used to not just “track”, but also “plan” your fitness. I wear it everytime, and based on my heartrate and the day’s activity, it suggests me a workout regeme that helps me keep fit. The smartwatch features are pretty limited, you’ll get all the notifications that your phone receives, you can also reply messages with custom pre synced messages..honestly, im not too concerned about not being able to “type” messages. The garmin App gives out tons of data, from the different sensors it has, about your wellbeing..I just love this watch.
Fantastic tracke
I’ve bought a number of trackers which disappointed for various reasons, either the battery was poor or the functionality was lacking.
This however does exactly what it says on the tin, accurate enough for a watch and the battery life is exemplary.
I was worried slightly that the buttons would be confusing, but its so easy to navigate and set up the important functions and cut away the bits that aren’t necessary to the user that its a breeze.
Also it looks stylish on the wrist with a host of accessories to personalise it to your own personal taste.
Highly recommend this product Utg
Terrific watch, great functionality
Love this watch. Excellent looks, function with really high quality supporting apps, including the golf and cycle apps.
Only downside is it’s a little bit chunky. But really that doesn’t bother me
Quality!
Some things you buy and they add value to life. This is one of those. Ideal for quantifying life.
Great watch
This is a great watch for sports tracking and basic notifications from your phone. I’ve been an Apple Watch user for some years now but got fed up with charging it every night. This watch has a great battery life and I charge it every 2/3 weeks depending on my sports activity. If your not a Garmin user , You can also change the watch face to what suits you.
Excellent watch don’t have any complaints.
The S version is a great size, small and light enough to wear 24/7 and forget about it.
Coming from the 735XT, on which the HR broke, the build quality of the Fenix is fantastic.
Activity tracking is super, and I really wanted the additional features of maps, navigation, Garmin pay, and music, all of which I’m loving.
Maps are superb, so much better than breadcrumb of the 735.
Highly recommend this. I didn’t seem to get me for 385 then it went up another 70 the following day, so watch the prices.
Just what I needed
Bought as an upgrade. The extra functionality is just what I was after.
perfect watch for my needs
This watch seems to fit with everything I need from a watch
Worth the money. Great sports watch
Had a few Garmin watches in the past vivomusic 3 and a couple of the cheaper models. This one blows them out the water. I found the issue with the cheaper models is you are charging every 2 days or so.
This lasts weeks. No downsides for me. But note this is a bulky watch.
I’ve had a Garmin Forerunner 245 for just over a year and clocked up over 1,200 miles of running with it. As a motivational device it has been superb. I just wanted more of the same – bigger screen, full topographical mapping, longer battery life, deeper analytics, Strava segment integration – and I have not been disappointed. Keeps things fun on my long hours of marathon training – following an endless variety of courses using its superb navigation features. Sleep and heart rate monitoring is not perfectly accurate (particularly at higher levels) – just the limitation of optical sensor method of measurement. I wear the Garmin HRM-Run chest strap for workouts (which also gives you running metrics such as cadence, vertical oscillation, etc – so well worth the extra). Have found the GPS to be very accurate so far. Now the Fenix 7 is here, the price of the 6 is very tempting and given how much I have used the Forerunner I could justify the upgrade. The hardware is only half of the story though. The brilliance of Garmin is its class-leading integration of hardware with software: the Connect and Explore apps and website (where you can create new workouts, training plans and courses to navigate) are absolutely superb. Was concerned watch (at 90g, compared to 38.5g of the Forerunner) might be too big and heavy. It IS big – to accommodate its 1.4″ screen and this may be an issue for some but I don’t even notice it on and I don’t have the thickest wrist. If that’s a deal breaker there’s always the 6 Pro or 6s Pro. Just extremely grateful to Garmin for taking a casual runner and turning him into a running machine!!
Impressive is definitely an understatement. I probably will never use 80% of what it is loaded up with. Great finish. Sturdy and also fashionable. General health and fitness stats are brill. Heart rate tracking is neat. Maps are good but you need to kick off an activity to access them That’s probably my age, or simply lack of familiarity with the map function. Notifications come up nice and clear and easy to use. Not a cheap watch but you get a lot for what you pay. Its worth the money. The Fenex 7 apparently has a touch sensitive screen which simply makes navigating all of the features much easier.
Its an impressive piece of ki

Amazing watch
I love this watch, moved from forerunner 935, and quality of fenix 6 pro os amazing comparing to my previous one. However I would by saphire version as my have already some scratches on screen ( I am very active and felt from bike couple of times). I think that screen and bezel should be easy to replace as now you have to ask garmin for assistance which cost almost 200
Blown away
I’ve owned every fitness tracker worth owning like the from Jawbone Up to the Whoop 3.0 and this thing blows them all out of the water.
Excellent product.
4 stars as paint is slightly peeling already. Otherwise excellent product that does want I wanted and more
Great sports watch
Great sports watch with huge selection of features and great battery life
Quite simply the best watch I have ever owned
I decided to go for the genie 6 pro as opposed to the 7 initially was price, but am I glad I did. Simply put, I like information on the exercise, activity, rest and sleep. This watch gives me all that and more. Once I got my head round the buttons, which is easily manageable and less accident prone that a swipe watch, it is awesomely informative. Battery life is extraordinary, which you can easily extend switching off gps mode. The mobile app is just as informative with the data easily at hand.

So many great features on this watch
I run, hike and kayak but and this watch is awesome..the gps is accurate and the mapping is comprehensive it can be set up to anyones liking.
I purchased the large 6pro and while only being of medium build I don’t find it overly bulky
I have had suunto fit bits but nothing comes close to this plus the battery life is brilliant
Even better I can plan a route on my phone and send it to my watch unlike suunto where your p/c was needed
Thank you Garmin for a wonderfully thought out and comprehensive produc

Great All Roundee
This is not a showpiece watch (although it looks very nice) it is a rugged, outdoor exercise watch and it does that extremely well. Battery life is great, navigation is great, everything is great. 10/10 would recommend the Fenix 6 Pro
Great advanced training tool
The Fenix 6x Pro is a great advanced tool for those who like to have the option to modify almost al settings.
Although the watch is big, it is not heavy to wear.
The the brightness of the screen is excellent and I like how easy it switch on when turning the wrist.
My first impression is that this watch offers much for the price but it is less suitable for those who like to have a simple menu and usage.
This watch does everything!
Got this for husbands Xmas and like most men he won’t read the instructions so every day he discovers something “new” that the watch does!
He’s delighted with the product and can’t wait to get back to his workouts to get the proper tracking and calorie counts etc.
The watch has functions such as Co ordinates of where you are incase your ever lost!
Really does seem to do it all.

Excelle
An excellent watch and well worth the money. Loads more functionality than my old fitbit Versa 2 and the battery lasts 20 days easily.
Major upgrade from Fenix 3HR
Got this directly from Amazon (sold and dispatched from them) after my Fenix 3HR started to be plugged in for several hours to charge (still keeping the 3HR as a backup device and occasional use).
The 6X pro It is a major upgrade from the Fenix 3HR. Although I am not using music when I run it has too many additional features and metrics which are useful. However, besides all of these features the 3 most important for me which I am impressed about are:
1. Amazing battery life (even compared with when my 3HR was new). In my last marathon (4hrs 13minutes) and with additional usage before and after the marathon it only went down 11% from 100% to 89%.
2. I do not need to switch on the light permanently any more. The 6X Pro supports gestures during a run/walk meaning when you lift your arm to look at the watch the light automatically switches on for 8 seconds). This is very convenient and also conserves extra battery. The feature is auto-enabled after sunset so the light will not switch on before that..
3. The fonts on the watch and during the runs (I keep 4 metrics in my main first screen, current page, average pace, time and lap pace) are so much larger that are easier to see. If you struggle with reading the metrics during your workout this is a major advantage.
As aforementioned, there are so many other features (I have not looked at all of them yet, including maps) but even for just the above 3 reasons this was a major MUST HAVE worth upgrade.
Fantastic Watch
Fantastic watch, more functions than you could ever need but very intuitive and comfortable.

Fenix 6X PRO
Used 24 hours. Quality sport tester wit long life battery. After a month very satisfied. Accuracy of heart rate and oximeter measurement. GPS works slower between tall buildings. Nice appearance and easy operatio
Love it!!
I have been wanting one of these watches for a while now as me and the family enjoy outdoor persuits. I’m glad I have purchased this Garmin Fenix 6s pro watch
It has an impressive battery of upto 10 days, the features are amazing and easy enough to use. 10/10
First of all: if you are a woman with a fairly slim wrist do not be tempted with features of fenix or fenix X. S version is there for a reason. So fenix S is the cheapest in the family but exactly what I need. I do not need music on my watch because I do not listen to anything for intensive workouts and I take my mobile with me anyway for slow runs (safety!). I am not missing maps feature either – for the same reason. My fenix S is an upgrade to Vivoactive 3 and it is the best decision I made. Apart from some physiological features you get on your app and more variety on training etc there are 2 most important ones: GPS accuracy is far superior to my old watch – some training runs were just impossible with the old watch when you have to vary your pace intervals. And battery life is awesome. There is no need to switch off heart rate or enhanced GPS to prolong it. If I use GPS for 5-6 h a week (plus some non-GPS like swim) and 24/7 heart rate I still need to charge it every fortnight (without draining battery down to red level).
Best value for money
