Using your airbed for the first time.

It is common for the air bed to deflate slightly during the initial uses as the PVC material stretches into its natural shape. This does not indicate the item is faulty or has a leak.

What to do?

Simply top up the air bed with some more air using the electric pump.

Best practice.

We recommend inflating the air bed 2-3 hours before use and topping up before you go to bed if necessary. This will prevent you having to top it up during the night which can cause disturbance.

Used this for latitude and few camping trip. Is comfy and doesn’t go down in night so much you would notice. Needs topping up once a day but better than most beds I’ve used.

This airbed is brilliant for when you have guests stay for few days. It blows up very quickly and is very comfortable. You may need to top it up occasionally for the first few uses but to be honest, it’s only by a little bit. When I have guests stay over, they always comment on how comfortable the bed is. Would highly recommend.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’m very impressed with this bed, it was so easy and quick to inflate/deflate. My friend was very comfortable on it. I followed the instructions, so inflated and deflated it a few times before using it and had no issues with loss of air for the whole weekend. I would definitely recommend both the product and the seller. It came very quickly and is nicely packaged.

I use this bed for my visits and all of them said the same thing, it is very comfortable and had a great night sleeping on it. It’s very easy to inflate and it’s warm as well because of the suede where you lay down. It was a very nice purchase!

We bought this inflatable mattress for when friends stay over and it certainly does the job. It’s extremely easy to inflate and deflate as long as you have a plug socket close by. A single fitted sheet fits perfectly on it, so you don’t need any special bedding. I did find that it deflates just a but overnight, but not enough to make it uncomfortable. Overall, a good buy.

We had guests and no spare bed, bought this for them to stay for a week and my 77yr old mother wanted it and gave them her bed. She was super comfortable and cause of the height got out easily. She did say it was cold but put a blanket underneath her and she was all good

We’ve had a couple of Aerobeds and bought this to replace one that had failed. It had to be reinflated a couple of times but has now stayed really stable. We keep this at a property we visit at weekends and agree its the most comfortable one we’ve had.

We have my sister in law staying while inbetween leases but our flat isn’t big enough for a spare room so we brought a blow up bed to go behind the sofa in the living room and a privacy screen for some privacy
She has been using it constantly for a month and it hasn’t needed a pump up yet. We have topped it up as it isn’t perfectly solid but even that has only been once or twice
If your wanting something for one night or camping with a power source then it’s great for the money.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI bought the single one for my daughter for our caravan because them tiny bunks just isn’t big enough for a person.
She is over the moon with it, and it’s only needed a top up of air once in 3 months. She says it’s a very goods night sleep and even I’ve had a nap or two on it and it is comfy.
Can’t say anything about the bigger sizes but the single has been great for us

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersAirbed has a built in electric motor plug into power supply to inflate, also a manual valve to pump the bed up if needed. Very compfortable and light bed takes only a few minutes to inflate and can be deflated by using the pump or valve when open comes with inflatable pillow and patches if at any time there is a air leak.has its own bag to store if ever travelling bed can be refolded once all air has been removed. Has instructions on how to use and matntain.

I ordered the bed for a regular visitor and he said it’s the most comfortable inflatable bed he’s ever used. It takes under a minute to inflate and, because it’s so big, it’s very easy to manoeuvre to get comfortable. The only problem we’ve had is the smell when using it for the first time, especially when inflating it. Just remember to air it out before sleeping on it. We just left it outside for about half an hour.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThe king size bed arrived quickly and after reading the simple instructions I plugged it into the wall and inflated in 3 minutes, 2 hours before I wanted to sleep like the instructions said. Just before going to sleep I inflated it for a further 1 minute.
It was really comfortable and I slept well, also I didn’t feel any disturbance when my partner turned during the night. In the morning it was still inflated. I topped up inflating the bed by 1 minute the second and third night not because it had deflated but just as reassurance it was solidly filled and it was perfect every morning with no deflation.
I read some peoples reviews and was worried to buy this bed but I was really happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this company. A week after buying it I received a nice email asking if I was happy with the bed and if not to respond to this email for them to fix any problems which was reassuring. I would definitely recommend this bed.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis is the first deep air mattress I have bought and it has made sleeping when camping a joy. No roll together, nice and stable and comfortable. It did go down very slightly the first night but actually made it even more comfortable with it being not so taut. I have an inverter so it goes up super quick plugged into the car and deflates down to nearly the same size when first opened. Love it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have tried more than one blow-up bed before now and all of them have been a massive disappointment. So, when the necessity to buy a new one came up, which I had to share with my husband, I decided I would try to pay a bit more to get a better quality item. Although the price of this seems high, you do get value for money.
The bed has a plug, so there is no energy needed to inflate it. Although quite noisy, it inflates quickly. Don’t blow it up just before getting into it though, as it settles, so you may need to add a bit more air, before sleeping on it. The instructions say to inflate it 2-3 hours before bedtime.
Sleep quality? Great! Although the bed did deflate slightly (didn’t follow the instructions), it didn’t make a great difference to our sleep. My husband and I were comfortable and slept well. It was a king size, so there was no falling out of it either, which was good. Once we had our base sheet on and our quilt, it was just like sleeping in a real bed.
I am glad I purchased this bed and I hope it lasts for years to come. A good quality product which I really recommend.

Overall great inflatable mattress. The engine for inflation and deflation surprised me positively. A must buy for those of us living in flats that tend to receive visits from friends.

Get Fit King Size AirMattress with built in electric pump: I’m delighted with this air mattress, not only does it blow-up and deflate itself, it offers 3 firmness levels and a very comfy flocked surface.

This is ideal for storing in a cupboard or garage as it packs up nicely and actually fits back into the provided storage bag (a little patience is required to fold it correctly). The additional pillows are a nice addition and are quite comfy.

It’s as big as a full king-size mattress and sits well off the ground (just over a 1 1/2 ft high once inflated) so you can actually sit on the edge in order to get up rather than have to roll on the floor and lever yourself up from there (that’s my experience of air mattresses!!)

Once plugged in, with the 3pin plug provided, it takes barely a couple of minutes to inflate to your selected level of firmness and likewise will take about the same on deflate, very convenient if used for guests as it can be inflated/deflated in the time it takes them to brush their teeth and put away before breakfast. Kids especially will love this.

The flocked top is a nice addition as it does provide a more comfortable sleeping surface for either under a sheet (would need to be a flat sheet rather than fitted due to the depth) or to sleep on directly as it will wipe off easily. My only advice is to give it an airing before use as, not surprisingly, it has a certain plasticky smell however it does dissipate once out of the packaging for an hour or two.

It’s weighs in at about 16 lb so not light, but it’s still very portable within its storage bag, and can be taken on camping trips or to visit rellies. This mattress will last well and is great to have on hand. I think at 79.99 (price at time of review) it’s reasonable for the quality and size. Good product.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWoooow! I never knew that inflatable mattress can be so comfortable.
It takes less than 5 min to inflate it. The pump is integrated and the cord can be hidden in a little box right next to it. Also included 2 inflatable pillows and 2 repair patches, and storage bag.
When inflated it is just over 50 cm tall, so you do not feel like you are sleeping on the ground.
I can see it being used on camping or when you’re awaiting new bed delivery. Great for when you just bought your first flat or house and you’ve run out of money for furniture.
I really can’t fault this item at anything, hence 5*.
I would buy again and I would recommend
I hope my review and photos were helpful

    I'm impressed 👏

These always come nicely packed into a rather compact box don’t they? This is the same. It’s a fair size to start with as it’s king size, and it comes with its own grey drawstring bag to pack it away afterward too. It also has two stick on repair patches…

Setting up is really easy, we just rolled it out, opened the little compartment where the power lead is, plugged it in and switched it to “inflate”. A few minutes later hey presto a large airbed. It took probably 4 or maybe 5 minutes to fully inflate, but once done it takes two people easily. It’s actually quite comfortable.

Switching the dial on the motor unit to “deflate” it actually sucks the air back out, so again in a few minutes it’s totally flat and can be folded away again. My mention of the box it came in was because I’ve always found that no matter how you fold these things down you never get them back in their original box! How do they do that in the factory? This deflated totally flat as well! No matter, it folds quite compact anyway and fits easily into its drawstring bag and would pop under any bed for safe keeping. This one’s going in the loft with the camping kit.

There is also a standard chunky valve for inflating and deflating if you need it, for using a third party pump you can get almost anywhere. I can imagine the noise topping this up on a campsite in the late hours using the built in pump, the noise would frighten the wildlife away! I think I’d use the standard valve and a hand pump (I got one of those air blaster pump thing too) to save the noise.

Aside the noise of the powered built in pump, this is a very good airbed. The flocked top is comfortable to lay on, and it’s a jolly large size and will support two large adults as any bed would. Ideal for visitors or perhaps camping out.
At 79.99 at the time of this review it’s not cheap, but it does a good job.

The mattress arrived in a sturdy cardboard box. Our little boy was very excited about this delivery and was keen to help unpack and set up the air bed! Inside the box, the flattened air bed was packed in a draw string bag with nylon strap. Very useful for storing it in and ensuring that it doesn’t get ripped when in storage. Inside the bag and along with the mattress, came two inflatable pillows, two small repair patches, a set of instructions and a first time use information sheet. After unpacking the air bed, I removed the plug from its storage compartment and plugged it in. Inflation is a simple as turning the dial to the ‘inflate’ setting. Inflation was very quick. Much quicker, in fact, than using a third party car lighter powered pump or foot pump. Once inflated, this is a very big and sturdy mattress. It measures somewhere in the region of two metres in length. Hopefully, it should just fit between the wall and the central pole of out four metre bell tent. It will be a tight squeeze, but here’s hoping. We’ll find out when we use the tent at easter.

One thing that I did notice when I first inflated it was that it felt as if the mattress was losing air. I was initiaally worried that there might be a leak in it. I then read the first time use information sheet, which informs you that this is perfectly normal and to be expected as the bed finds its shape. The advice is to just add a bit more air and this will settle down.

Our little boy couldn’t wait to try out the mattress. I asked him for his review for Amazon. He said “This is a very comfy bed isn’t it Daddy.” We spend the next hour pretending that the mattress was a hovercraft. Probably not its intended use, but it served us well.

The material feels thick and the seams are wide, so here’s hoping that there are no splits.

Deflation was as easy as inflation. There is also a stopper that allows for manual inflation and deflation. I removed the stopper to let the air escape and then used the electric ‘deflate’ option in order to remove the final pockets of air. The result was a fanastically flat mattress that was easy to pack back into the bag.

All in all, a very impressive experience. Bring on the camping expedition in a few months.
