It is common for the air bed to deflate slightly during the initial uses as the PVC material stretches into its natural shape. This does not indicate the item is faulty or has a leak.
What to do?
Simply top up the air bed with some more air using the electric pump.
Best practice.
We recommend inflating the air bed 2-3 hours before use and topping up before you go to bed if necessary. This will prevent you having to top it up during the night which can cause disturbance.

I ordered the bed for a regular visitor and he said it’s the most comfortable inflatable bed he’s ever used. It takes under a minute to inflate and, because it’s so big, it’s very easy to manoeuvre to get comfortable. The only problem we’ve had is the smell when using it for the first time, especially when inflating it. Just remember to air it out before sleeping on it. We just left it outside for about half an hour.
She is over the moon with it, and it’s only needed a top up of air once in 3 months. She says it’s a very goods night sleep and even I’ve had a nap or two on it and it is comfy.

This is an enormous king sized inflatable bed that has built in electirc inflation and deflation pump. Simply plug in and flip the switch to either inflate or deflate accordingly and it does it so quickly. In terms of comfort it is very good – it can lose air as with any air bed but I’m very impressed by the quility of this. In every way this is a premium air bed. Great quality.

This premium airbed inflates quickly (albeit noisily). It is advised that you initiate the inflation a couple of hours before bed. This advice should be followed where practical as it takes a while to even and fill out — not something you’d want to wait for at the last minute.
The size is generous, being king-size, so you’re not struggling for space, but you may need to be mindful of the space this is going into — it takes up some room!
Comfort-wise, I was very happy with it. You’re not going to get the same standard of comfort as your mattress at home, but it is close enough and far better than the ones I have tried before.
Overall, I think it is worth the extra investment in a quality air bed and this one didn’t disappoint. 100% recommended.

This king-sized bed comes with a built in pump which works perfectly. Simply unroll the cable from the compact storage compartment at one end of the bed, plug it in, and switch to inflate. It takes a few minutes to inflate fully, but all you have to do is stand by and watch while it does its job, which makes it very easy work. Once inflated to your desired level, simply switch off the pump and re-stow the cable in its compartment.
The bed itself is comfortable, firm and really spacious – it will become a bit less firm after the first few uses, as the material stretches, but it’s easy enough to top up in between sleeps. It comes with two inflatable cushions that you need to blow up yourself, but they are not all that comfortable so are probably best kept for camping, when you are conscious of space. I would recommend using ordinary pillows for sleep overs as these will be much nicer.
On top of excellent comfort this bed is actually higher off the floor than is normal with an inflatable mattress, which is one of its best features. It is so much easier to get in and out of bed at this height, especially if you are of advancing years or have mobility issues.
Another great feature is that this includes a deflate option when you are ready to store the bed away after use. Plug in the pump as when inflating it, switch to the deflate setting, and hey presto, it does all the work for you again. It takes more or less the same time to deflate as inflate. When deflated, unplug the pump, store in its compartment and fold the mattress. The bed comes with its own storage bag too, which has an integral handle to make it easier to carry.
This is not the lightest of beds to carry around, but is about the same to carry as a decent large inflatable bed and separate pump anyway – and there is not chance that you will forget to take the pump if you use this for travel (yes, we have done this… not happy campers…), as everything is included! And it has the advantage of being super comfortable and king-sized too!
Includes a couple of repair pads, should these be necessary, but the fabric is pretty thick so should provide years of service without needing these.
A great product!
So this blows up in about 3 minutes from flat boxed package into a tall King sized mattress. Plug it in and turn the inflation dial clockwise and up it comes. It is taller than a normal mattress so it integrates the bed base coming up somewhere inbetween a bed and a mattress. It is high enough to be able to comfortably get on and off without doing your back in and remains sturdy and turgid.
When it is time to deflate it, turn the inflation dial the other way and it sucks out the air and goes nice and flat, folds up and just about squeezes back into the box.
Sadly after a few nights of wonder, it was popped with a knife (I know – what on earth was a knife doing anywhere near) on the edge. The enclosed repair patch would not hold as it popped on the seam and that was the end of that.
So I would really recommend this – it’s a fantastic pop-up mattress which really saved the day on a few occasions in our house when we had people to stay. Just keep the knives away as – if you get a puncture like ours – it’s not really repairable.
I’ve been working away so to save money have slept in friends spare rooms. I bought this for a comfortable nights sleep. It’s easy to inflate, it comes with pillows (though I’ve used my own) and it’s nice and comfy. Add in that it’s a good size and I’m happy with this.

I had a bed like this before but it had a separate pump and was a lot lower.
This on the other hand has everything built into it. Pump check. A lot higher off the ground. Check.
I’d argue that whilst its quite loud, you only really need to pump the thing up once and id prefer it to be loud and be quick rather than silent but take forever.
The pump is rated at 120w, to this would be perfect for camping and using a 240v inverter in the car to get it pumped up.

No more hunting around for the footpump and then pumping continuously for an hour to get the bed inflated. This has a built in pump that you just plug in and about 5 minutes later it’s ready to use.
It’s about 50cm high which is useful when you have elderly guests coming who don’t want to be right down on the floor for example. You also have a range of ‘hardness’ options depending how you like the mattress to feel. The flocked top has a luxurious feel too.
Packing away is equally simple by using the integrated pump to deflate. It also packs away into the included bag rather easily – which normally is a struggle after the first time you use these sort of items.
Delighted with the product and perfect to have available for extra guests at Christmas for example. Happy to recommend.
The quality of this air mattress reflects the price as its decent. Easy to inflate with a built in pump, which can also deflate quickly.
Looks huge due to being a king size and quite high off the ground. Dont get me wrong its not better than an actual mattress but so much better than one of those cheap low down air beds where you feel like you’re sleeping on the ground.

It took around 5 minutes to fully inflate so a little longer than the 3 minutes in the advert. The trick with these beds is to inflate them, leave for a few hours and inflate some more because the vinyl stretches so when you think it’s full, the vinyl will stretch and it will need more air. It’s a bit big for camping unless you have a massive tent! But it’s ideal for a guest room.
I can’t quite pack it back down small enough to get in the box again but I have got it small enough to go in the bag so it’s easy to store.
Overall I’m happy with it and my guests were comfortable for the nugh
This is a fantastic airbed for the price. It’s absolutely huge and isn’t low to the ground like some are. It inflates really quickly but the pump is very, very loud. It also deflates itself which is great but I couldn’t get it back into the box afterwards.
Luckily it comes with a bag for storage and isn’t too bulky.
it’s extremely comfortable to sleep on (I did use a sheet on it), we both slept really well and I have no qualms about expecting guests to sleep on it for several nights. It also comes with two inflatable pillows and repair patches for if it gets a puncture.
It’s a bit too heavy to take wild camping, but it would be fine for when you can park next to your tent. I think this is incredibly well made and a perfect solution for hosting guests.
I was shocked and impressed by the size of this thing once fully inflated, which didn’t take long with the built in pump , it really does take the hassle out of inflating the air bed.
It’s the hight of an average sized bed , so it’s so easy just to climb onto this king-sized air bed and it’s very comfortable.
The pump can be a bit noisy when inflating the bed so you want to do it earlier in the day if inflating for someone to use overnight.
We’ve even worked out that this will even fit into our large tent, so we could take this camping if we wanted, that would be camping in style.
The bed is quite heavy but not overly weighty , it comes well packaged neat in a box.
Once you’ve found the space for it , it’s a case of letting the built in pump do the work , no hassle with hand pumps or inflating it.
The top of the bed feels soft to touch and durable , the bed smells a tad of rubber when first inflated but it eases off a touch once inflated for a while.
Its not cheap at 80 but once inflated with covers on it actually looks like a proper bed , feels more soft and bouncy but it’s still really comfortable to lay on.
Great for a couple to use or plenty of space for one person, we have people staying over now and then so this will come in very useful, we plan to take it camping too.

Easy to inflate with the built-in fan and easy to put down. The bed kept its inflation level more or less during the night and was fairly comfortable. It is a fair value for the money though a couple of quid more might yield you a slightly more comfortable sleep – however, for the money, this will give you a good 3 or 4 nights sleep as needed.

This bed is extremely noisy to inflate. Like, scare the cats and dogs noisy. Thankfully it doesn’t take too long to fully inflate the bed so you don’t have to endure it for long!
The bed itself is very comfy. I tested it out by actually spending the night on it and my partner suggested it should be a permanent thing so she can starfish in our bed…
It’s pretty heavy to move around but it’s manageable. It folds up easily which is great for storing it away.

This is the second type of powered inflatable mattress I’ve had and this is definitely the more comfortable of the two. I ordered this as my old one isn’t overly comfortable and however hard it is, you still roll into the middle.
This one has 40 pockets for stability and they definitely work.

In essence, it’s a really comfortable plastic blow up bed and it seems to hold it’s pressure quite well overnight.

My one stank — for days.
It has an overpowering smell like the strong smell of a cheap plastic ball, and I left it for four days before this eased off. Be sure you have time to get rid of the smell as there is no way I could have slept in the same room as this thing at first. The moment you let the air out, the smell is back.
EAR HEALTH WARNING
Noisy power pump. And I mean noisy. This must come with a health warning. I am not exaggerating this thing is painfully loud. I had to turn it off and go and get earplugs. If you have a child, animal, anyone with sensitive hearing, keep them away from this pump; it really is awful. The loud high pitch tone is piercing.
The price has come down 10 to 79.99 since I ordered it which is a decent price for a comfortable blow up king sized bed, but do bear in mind the downsides.
Get Fit King Size AirMattress with built in electric pump: I’m delighted with this air mattress, not only does it blow-up and deflate itself, it offers 3 firmness levels and a very comfy flocked surface.
This is ideal for storing in a cupboard or garage as it packs up nicely and actually fits back into the provided storage bag (a little patience is required to fold it correctly). The additional pillows are a nice addition and are quite comfy.
It’s as big as a full king-size mattress and sits well off the ground (just over a 1 1/2 ft high once inflated) so you can actually sit on the edge in order to get up rather than have to roll on the floor and lever yourself up from there (that’s my experience of air mattresses!!)
Once plugged in, with the 3pin plug provided, it takes barely a couple of minutes to inflate to your selected level of firmness and likewise will take about the same on deflate, very convenient if used for guests as it can be inflated/deflated in the time it takes them to brush their teeth and put away before breakfast. Kids especially will love this.
The flocked top is a nice addition as it does provide a more comfortable sleeping surface for either under a sheet (would need to be a flat sheet rather than fitted due to the depth) or to sleep on directly as it will wipe off easily. My only advice is to give it an airing before use as, not surprisingly, it has a certain plasticky smell however it does dissipate once out of the packaging for an hour or two.
It’s weighs in at about 16 lb so not light, but it’s still very portable within its storage bag, and can be taken on camping trips or to visit rellies. This mattress will last well and is great to have on hand. I think at 79.99 (price at time of review) it’s reasonable for the quality and size. Good product.

When inflated it is just over 50 cm tall, so you do not feel like you are sleeping on the ground.

I really like this air bed, its easy to set up (you’ll need a air pump) but is a lot comfier compared to other beds i’ve used. Came with 2 free air pillows which was nice.
Overall a great airbed, the quality is Good, Durable and Robust. It functions just like any other airbed with how to fill it up with air, easy to do with the electrical pump which is easy to plug in – which you can adjust depending on the firmness of the product that you want. The added feature of manual air valve is great too. Packing it is easy which makes it easier to store/keep – with the added free pillows which is soft when inflated, measurements are as follows; 152 x 203 x 53cm, fits comfortably in my room and is perfect for guests may need to stay a night. It is comfortable to sleep in and easy to deflate. Highly recommend.
This is a really cool air bed. It comes with a compartment to hold the plug and once it’s connected, the bed inflates in around 90 seconds. The inbuilt pump is a little noisy, but it’s worth it for the speed it inflates. It’s the same for deflating the bed. You can either open the release valve or use the deflate option once plugged in and again, 90 seconds later, it’ll be flat.
Comes with a travel bag and two, manually inflatable pillows.
Once inflated, the bed is a good height, allowing you to sit before you lay down or get up, which makes it nice and easy. It also holds its air really well, so doesn’t get uncomfortable overnight. It’s nice and sturdy, and doesn’t really move when you toss and turn.
I am so very impressed with this. It is quite heavy and comes in a drawstring bag that you can carry over your shoulder. It can be used for camping but care has to be taken about where you place it so it doesn’t get damaged.
I needed something for family to sleep on when they visit and stay, rather than sleeping on the sofa when my bedrooms are occupied. The company stated that this could be blown up in 3 minutes and boy were they right. Absolutely amazed at this. It has a raised edge with an anti roll together feature and can take the weight of 661lbs in total which is incredible. You need a sheet just put over the mattress and it will stay in place as the mattress material will keep it from rolling up!
But most of all it is so incredibly comfortable!!!!!! And comes with two small inflatable pillows. The measurements of this are W152cm L203cm and H53cm yup as high as a normal regular bed. Really this is great. Please read the instructions though for the best night’s sleep. Pump this up about 3 hours before you want to use it and let it settle, then top up just before bed.
I think that the price of this is a steal. Really buy, buy buy. It is a beaut!
One thing that I did notice when I first inflated it was that it felt as if the mattress was losing air. I was initiaally worried that there might be a leak in it. I then read the first time use information sheet, which informs you that this is perfectly normal and to be expected as the bed finds its shape. The advice is to just add a bit more air and this will settle down.
Our little boy couldn’t wait to try out the mattress. I asked him for his review for Amazon. He said “This is a very comfy bed isn’t it Daddy.” We spend the next hour pretending that the mattress was a hovercraft. Probably not its intended use, but it served us well.
The material feels thick and the seams are wide, so here’s hoping that there are no splits.
Deflation was as easy as inflation. There is also a stopper that allows for manual inflation and deflation. I removed the stopper to let the air escape and then used the electric ‘deflate’ option in order to remove the final pockets of air. The result was a fanastically flat mattress that was easy to pack back into the bag.
All in all, a very impressive experience. Bring on the camping expedition in a few months.

Setting up is really easy, we just rolled it out, opened the little compartment where the power lead is, plugged it in and switched it to “inflate”. A few minutes later hey presto a large airbed. It took probably 4 or maybe 5 minutes to fully inflate, but once done it takes two people easily. It’s actually quite comfortable.
Switching the dial on the motor unit to “deflate” it actually sucks the air back out, so again in a few minutes it’s totally flat and can be folded away again. My mention of the box it came in was because I’ve always found that no matter how you fold these things down you never get them back in their original box! How do they do that in the factory? This deflated totally flat as well! No matter, it folds quite compact anyway and fits easily into its drawstring bag and would pop under any bed for safe keeping. This one’s going in the loft with the camping kit.
There is also a standard chunky valve for inflating and deflating if you need it, for using a third party pump you can get almost anywhere. I can imagine the noise topping this up on a campsite in the late hours using the built in pump, the noise would frighten the wildlife away! I think I’d use the standard valve and a hand pump (I got one of those air blaster pump thing too) to save the noise.
Aside the noise of the powered built in pump, this is a very good airbed. The flocked top is comfortable to lay on, and it’s a jolly large size and will support two large adults as any bed would. Ideal for visitors or perhaps camping out.
At 79.99 at the time of this review it’s not cheap, but it does a good job.
