An incredible game that manages to fit such beautiful visuals with a large chunk of gory fights. Unlike most open world games there is no mini map to guide you, only the guiding wind ( I will admit it was an adjustment). Seriously though a massive congratulations to the team behind Ghost of Tsushima. I highly recommend getting this game and it absolutely has replay value without having to go through tedious tutorial missions.
If you’re looking for a great game to completely lose yourself in and have countless hours of gameplay, then this is the game for you. I’ve never enjoyed a game as much as I did Ghost of Tsushima, highly recommend purchasing
The Ghost of Tsushima is an epic beautifully designed open world game that anyone who loves to game would truly appreciate
For me it’s one of the first combat games that has actually shocked me at how detailed , diverse and realistic it is.
The reaction of the controller, sounds , crystal elements on screen and even the timing of the haptics breathes so much life into the game’s already such vibrant atmosphere.
The adventure and personal back story is well thought out . It’s a gripping mission with a large amount of land to explore. It doesn’t fall into the obvious and predictable structure either. You can find some unique places whilst galloping around and that makes it all the more real to the user experience.
As for the combat system, it’s very well designed. When Defeating your enemies there’s actual skill involved and you feel that accomplishment! It’s not over easy like some games can be.
The clash of steel feels satisfying and with the vast selection of stance moves it’s an enjoyable tense moment to immerse yourself in.
I can only recommend this game and provide a high review! For me it delivers what I believe to be one of the greatest combat games.
So – On a mission of Samurai Vengeance while seeing the stunning scenery of Japan ?
This game is one of the best I have ever played. I felt fully immersed in the story and the gameplay felt exciting with a good difficulty curve meaning the game never gets too easy. After spending 60+ hours I still want to go back and play through again. Would recommend to any gamer who wants an extremely fun, moving game.
This was one of the best looking games on the PS5 and sure has an engaging story though suffers a little with collectable stuff and stealth is a little difficult in my experience but if you’re happy with it then fine. Highly recommended for a PS5 owner.
Just see the price as dropped from when I bought it.
Wow this game is really good very big game. Fighting is quick and fast with horse riding.
Story good to looking good on a TV, Game play and upgrades to a good PS5 game.
One to own.
Christmas gift for my boyfriend. However, upon opening the parcel I noticed the case was damaged, as I ordered this super last minute I didn’t bother returning and reordering. The game thankfully was fine but at this was a gift a little disappointing.
In terms of the game, he’s been on it for the last three hours and I’ve not heard a peep from him
I don’t normally play many single player games, so thought id give this a go when i managed to get a PS5 console. The gameplay is super smooth and flows, i’m glad this is open world and not linear like ninja gaiden or yakuza ishin. The stealth elements are good, but don’t expect metal gear solid V levels of stealth, but what makes this game for me is the music and the swordplay, once you’ve upgraded your characters move set you will be left smiling when you slay opponents.
I didn’t know much about the developer before hand, but i hope they will stick to making open world games in the future, its great to see other companies going down the open world route, it does get a bit repetitive, but what game is not guilty of that, took me back to the days of playing tenchu on the PS1, great game!
I only played the opening mission and already I can see the difference in quality between generations. More realistic fire, stunning lighting effects, and the mo-cap is even tighter. Being familiar with the game already doesn’t feel like an advantage; it’s a whole new experience.
Only about 3 hours into it however I have to say its the best game I’ve played in recent years that I actually really like. Well worth the price! Stunning to look at yet the fighting is the best I’ve seen in a video game. You won’t be disappointed!!
Can’t sing enough praise for this game, the visuals were amazing it was like watching a movie constantly. Mechanics were great, easy to learn but hard to master having a diverse array of abilities to utilise depending on your play style preference.
Further to this the story was incredible, it featured many great action sequences, stealth missions as well as heartwarming emotional scenes.
If you’re on the edge of deciding to purchase this game I highly encourage you to do so, I have since 100% the game as well as its DLC and wish I could play more new content.
So sad when I finished this game including the dlc. Best game on my PS5 so far. The others great looking games r Demons Souls and Far Cry. But hey Tiny Tiny is soooo much fun game atm
I’m so glad I eventually bought this game. I’m about half way through the game and it’s mindblowingly beautiful. The story, the characters, the outfits and more are just so amazing. If you love Japan and Japanese culture and history, then you’ll really appreciate this game. This one comes with the DLC so you get even more for your money! This game is almost 70 on the PSN store so the price I got it for was actually very good (55).
Anyone who hasn’t played this game is missing out big time! Very rarely do I find a game I really enjoy and love, this one is it!
I haven’t got the time to write about all the things i like about this game but it is amazing. There is so much to do and the main story lasted for much longer than i expected. It’s also one of the most visually stunning games i’ve ever played.
This game is honestly amazing I loved every second of the story and the graphics also add to the experience if you have a ps5 this is one of the games I would say you have to play.
Visually it’s one of the best games I’ve played. It’s very similar to me to assassins creed in the gameplay but has a great story and some really cool features.
I have just finished the main storyline including side missions or tales as they are called (just over 40hours for me) and it is one of those games that you won’t forget, you’re thrown into the action from the first second. Some could say that the smaller side missions and additional tasks have a repetitive feel but this is probably the best combat system i’ve experienced and one that develops as you progress in the game and it completely overrides any repetitive feel. The main storyline wasn’t too grappling until nearer the end but some of the side tales are particularly engaging and ones I actually wanted to progress through more than the main storyline. I’m now moving onto the expansion of Tiki Island and can’t wait to progress through it.
Despite the sword wielding nature of this game and the endless bodies you mount up, the experience of a therapeutic ancient Japan outside of combat is a great experience I really enjoyed exploring from falling autumn leaves, long grass, picturesque cliff tops to relaxing hot springs.
Phenomenal game and I would highly recommended for anyone. Whether you’re looking for some good storylines, great combat or a trophy hunter, there is so much to do in this game. After 40+ hours I still have many unexplored locations and a full expansion pack to complete.
Bought this game on a recommendation when I finally got my hands on a PS5. I started to play it and I haven’t been able to put it down since. I’m a big fan of the Assassin’s Creed franchise and there are some parallels in terms of game play type. You can choose to go into occupied territories all swords blazing or through stealth. You can choose how the character develops, stances and shadow skills. I’mnot far enough in to know whether you can max out everything eventually. I have played the online (legends) mode a few times and that’s pretty cool too.
For the first week of game play I was playing on a standard High definition TV & I thought it was stunning then… I’ve been playing on a 4k TV all of today & words escape me on how truly beautiful it is.
While I’ve been playing for a week I’ve only finished the first chapter due to me being a wondering type, the story is enthralling if a little slow paced at times, it’s also very easy to get overwhelmed & killed many times in the first few hours before you get a chance to upgrade but once you do gameplay becomes alot fairer & balanced.
Definitely worth a go if you’re an AC fan, it’s like ubisoft of off thier lazy behinds & put some effort into a game.
Honestly the best game I’ve played with in the last few years. Absolutely fantastic, excellent graphic effects, amazing gameplay, lasted long too. Loved it!
What an incredible game this is. So many good things to like. The story mode is well written and it engages the player in multiple ways. The graphics are fantastic and under the ps5 system you get to enjoy the gameplay to its fullest potential unlike the PS4 version. I would highly recommend buying this game if you’re looking for a great single player game filled with action, a great combative system, first class graphics and fluid character movement. A must buy for ps5 users!
One of the best games I’ve played on the PS5. The attention to detail in the graphics is amazing and the game is immensely playable. I initially borrowed a copy from a friend but just HAD to buy it myself as it’s such a great game. The graphics are superb and really does demonstrate the capabilities of the new generation of console.
The graphics look really good, especially on the ps5 a massive upgrade from the ps4 version. Also the Haptic feedback on the controller makes the game way more immersive. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys open world, action or stealth games.
Loved playing this on the PS4 and then heard there is a extra DLC to the game. I knew I would play this game again so rather than just download the DLC I thought I would get the PS5 version to play again with the DLC included. What can I say other than its a great game with no problems playing and for me a level of immersion that came with the action but also the story. And lots of things to find but adds to his skills and knowledge.
Definitely pick this up when you can. The main campaign was great and the Iki Island Expansion adds plenty of cool new things to find and do. The visuals are of course stunning and the new Dualsense haptics add some nice feedback too.
Great game lots to do large map area fantastic graphics and game play lots of hours of game play with lots to learn and collect highly recommend this game
I live this game so much, I bought it originally on the ps4, but rebought it for my PS5 as the directors cut just for the improved graphics and of course the new expansion of Iki Island. The game is stunningly beautiful running at 60fps, and the combat mechanics are a pleasure to play. The bonus of the new multi player Legends mode is fun with friends too.
This game is absolutely perfect! I’ve never played a game where I’ve just stopped and looked at the scenery, so beautiful! Storyline is amazing, the fights are tough and rewarding when you’ve figured out blocking/parrying. One of the best games ever!!!
Looks fantastic and plays fantastic as well. The simplicity of it’s world mixed with a fantastic combat system make for an incredibly fun game. I also think Jin Sakai is becoming my favourite PlayStation character. Highly recommended. It’s a better version of most Assassin creed games with a fluid combat mode should you choose to ignore stealth.
This game is amazing and a must buy!! It has everything brilliant story, characters and side quest and will have you going for hours non stop. I would highly recommend
I should start by saying that I never experienced the game on PS4.
My 1st impression comes from playing the definitive PS5 version.
The visuals and audio are stunning. The Directors Cut is technically very sound, with a smooth 60fps gameplay at a 4k resolution. Loading times are minimal, and the sound design is perfect.
The game is an open world, Samurai epic with influence from the works of Akira Kurosawa. The game has similarities to other franchises such as Assassin’s Creed in terms of overall design, but it’s a better product than those games. This is due to a superior feeling of exploration, better side content and main story flow and superb customisation, progression and combat systems.
The story revolves around a Samurai who must relinquish his honour and tradition in order to save his people and homeland. It’s told exceptionally well and it progresses naturally as you play.
The PS5 version also features extra items, a large DLC that takes place on an additional Japanese island, and various Quality-of-Life improvements that enhance the game and combat.
An absolute must play, and I haven’t even talked about the compelling multuplayer modes.
I like everything Ghost of Tsushima has to offer. Great single player experience and an incredible multiplayer. I had to upgrade to the Directors cut when it was released and I am very happy with the upgrades on PS5, incredible. I haven’t played Iki dlc yet as I want to experience the in campaign again and get all the trophies again.
The original was already incredible, with its striking visuals dynamic combat and intense story.
But with a 60FPS 4K upgrade , one of the most unique online co op experiences ever, a massive new island to explore with a whole new story theme and aesthetic, among tonnes of quality of life improvements
If you haven’t played the original and this is your first time, you are in for a trea
My review of the game itself is bellow, this initial part is just about the PS5 pricing.
Sony feels like everyone lucky enough to get a PS5 should pay a 10 premium for basically the same experience. I would honestly recommend the PS4 version of the director’s cut due to this. 10 extra for some vibrations and a miniscule pixel jump is not worth it. I could maybe understand more if we had a ray tracing mode, or even a PS5 exclusive mission. They’ve not even added in a native 4k 30 mode. Instead the framerate mode is a lower resolution at 60fps, which is redundant when the fidelity is dynamic 4k 60.
But onto the actual game, it’s fantastic. I played it originally a year ago and couldn’t wait to jump back in. Many small quality of life improvements, like a target lock on and being able to replay missions and duels.
The iki expansion is the stand out, roughly 15-20 hours of content. If you like the main game it’s more of the same with some great additions. This paired with the fun legends mode makes this a great package overall.
If its your 1st time I will feel like a 10/10.
If this is your 2nd time then I will feel like 8/10 even with the ps5 upgrades.
Harcore fans will feel 10/10 regardless.
Will you regret buying it? Don’t think so.
Congratulations on your new game!
I played this on the PS4 when it came out and i remember thinking how could they make this look even better? I don’t think they can. The PS5 version is not a remake so it is the same except it has the extra Iki Island. But that is not a bad thing… it looks as beautiful as it did. It has a good storyline. With the only negative being the combat. When you get it right it works very good but there are also a lot of hit and miss where you are swinging your sword into thin air.
How the new expansion island fits in… if you have played the game on a PS4 you can transfer your save and the new island will appear. If you are playing for the first time or starting from the beginning again, the new island appears within the story. It is a game that has multiple paths open once you get underway and which missions you chose to do in which order is up to you. You could go through the game using the main story and use less of the side missions. The choice is yours!
Sadly what I didn’t like about the PS4 version are in here too. Like using the wind for directions, it is ok but constantly using the wind button to make sure your going the right way. And the stand offs at every path soon become boring and you soon start riding past them as it would take too long just to get to each mission. The saving Hoochi mission is the stupidest mission I have ever see. So you have to save a monk who won’t fight. But he won’t run or hide either. 20 enemies try to kill him and if only one does it is game over. Even on easy this is very hard and a stupid thought out level.
One mission from the Iki Island cannot be done unless you have all the power ups.
Good game which should have been a brilliant game if they had addressed the issues from the PS4 version. It is worth buying as it is a long game and is something different to the other games available.
An incredible game that manages to fit such beautiful visuals with a large chunk of gory fights. Unlike most open world games there is no mini map to guide you, only the guiding wind ( I will admit it was an adjustment). If you’ve been debating it, I highly recommend picking it up
An amazing game recommend this game for ps5 or ps4
The gameplay and story are very good. Hands down one of the best looking games of all time!

Prepare to immerse yourself in medieval Japanese culture. This game is a masterpiece in story telling and gameplay.
Each mission drip feeds you a story of honour, betrayal and defiance in the face of adversity.
Well done Sucker Punch. You’ve earned a loyal customer.
Great game, great story. Graphics are very nice and plays very well on the ps5.

One of my fav games i have played on my PS5. Came well packaged. A bit expensive but that’s most ps5 games.
Such a great game. Would highly recommend it. The plot, the characters, the fights, everything. 10/10
Got it as a present for someone, they loved every second of i
A must play game.
PS5 version runs so well and looks fantastic.
One of the best games I’ve played.
This game is an masterpiece. Stunning graphics and amazing story, but if you are a gamer i guess you would already know that.
I love this game! It’s stunning. Great game play and wow, no sexism so far at all. I hear it stays that way too. Highly recommend.
Game came well packaged and was exactly what it said in the description. Very happy with product.
Honestly the best game I’ve played with in the last few years. Absolutely fantastic, excellent graphic effects, amazing gameplay, lasted long too. Loved it!

A must buy for ps5 users!

A recommended buy for any PlayStation 5 owner!
You will be blown away by this. Every scene is like a movie! Gameplay and story sensational. Must have PS5 game. Rated 18 but should be a 16 really.
A great game and very immersive. The graphics are spot on and what you would expect on the PS5
Played about 15 hours and loving it, nice combat system and graphics on the ps5 are grea
This is the first game in a long time that I can’t stop playing.
Having not played before I bought the directors cut on PS5 and it’s one of the best games I’ve ever played. From the story to the visuals and scenery.
A must buy if you own a PS5.
The graphics look really good, especially on the ps5 a massive upgrade from the ps4 version. Also the Haptic feedback on the controller makes the game way more immersive. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys open world, action or stealth games.
Perfect game to start using my ps5 delivered fast and on perfect conditions
The story line, the style of playing are awesome, the main story ending is something else.
Loved playing this on the PS4 and then heard there is a extra DLC to the game. From start to finish i was engrossed in the game
Best PS5 game visually ive played yet and whet a game it is!!!! Amazing story line and loads of action. 10/10
Definitely pick this up when you can. The main campaign was great and the Iki Island Expansion adds plenty of cool new things to find and do. The visuals are of course stunning and the new Dualsense haptics add some nice feedback too.
Truly gaming as an art form, stunning visuals, awesome gameplay and a AAA movie quality storyline. Highly recommended.
Only just at the beginning of the game but already very impressed great visually and gameplay is great too
I haven’t played the PS4 version, so I can’t say it’s visually much of an upgrade, but this version looks incredible on 4K.
Great game lots to do large map area fantastic graphics and game play lots of hours of game play with lots to learn and collect highly recommend this game

What a fantastic game, and so much bonus content and features in this edition I am sincerely impressed.
I took a gamble waiting for the PS5 version of the game, and I’m so glad I did.
Arigato gozaimasu, Sucker Punch.
This game is amazing and a must buy!! It has everything brilliant story, characters and side quest and will have you going for hours non stop. I would highly recommend
This game is incredible that’s all I need to say.

Stunning… Finally a game that looks and plays beautifully on the PS5… Sold my rubbish Assassin’s Creed discs within 12 hours of playing this
My review of the game itself is bellow, this initial part is just about the PS5 pricing.
Sony feels like everyone lucky enough to get a PS5 should pay a 10 premium for basically the same experience.
Amazing graphics, great storyline, quality audio, a must play game.
