Brilliant game love it so much graphics are awesome brilliant game play too
Years in the making and worth the wait. Graphics are incredible
Received the codes to Redeem the cars and the 100,000 Cr. in an e-mail from Amazon, code for the 1,000,000 Cr. and the Yaris GR were inside the box. Redeemed them both after the game installed and had no problems. All content etc. worked.
Game itself is a fantastic base for the future, though it’s fair to say that those coming off the back of GT Sport will feel the step up in content is pretty small. Provided the post release content is similar to GT Sport, it will develop into a much, much bigger game.
Driving physics feels way more communicative than before, although many cars are more tricky to drive than you might expect. To a degree it feels more realistic, but it can be frustrating. No matter what games you’ve played previously, you’ll probably have to adjust your driving style a bit.
Graphics are great, sounds are pretty good. PS5 load times are a joy compared to the older games!
Photomode, car modifications and livery editor are fairly well executed, though the website used for uploaded elements for the livery is currently glitchy and not working properly.
Much is made of Microtransactions – these are NOT compulsory, and realistically not necessary for the vast majority of content. If you’re the type of person that’s played previous GT titles before for multiple years, or are just generally patient, the MTX’s aren’t really going to apply. If you want to use specific “expensive” content within the game you could be looking at days or weeks (maybe longer if you don’t play often) before you can access it. GT7 may not give you a “quick hit” that other titles will.
If you’re a prior GT fan, realistically this is a ‘must buy’, however… if you have unreliable internet be VERY cautious as this requires a permanent internet connection for most features, and it’s also fair to say that if you’re prepared to wait a few months, you’ll probably save a few quid, and after a few updates you’ll probably have a better game to play than the launch version is/was.
Gran Turismo player of 25 years. Use Thrustmaster-GT wheel.
Great game so far ! Good to see a classic GT game back out there.
