Good build quality and performs well so far. While a very different fixing approach to my previous thermostatic mixer (different manufacturer), the Grohe model is comparatively easier to fix in place. I was disappointed that the surround plate is only plastic, and quite cheap-feeling compared to my previous brand, but it looks the part when fixed in place and is a visually crisp and modern unit. I had to modify the neutral output temperature as this was not correctly set despite the statements the user manual about the temperature testing performed at the factory, however it is very easily done so no real issue. Best part is that due to it being a Grohe I’m confident that I can get a replacement cartridge in the future if/when needed. That wasn’t the case with my previous brand which necessitated the replacement in the first place. I’ll know in future to only buy big-brand with bathroom fixtures.
