The design of the chair is premium. Good for home office. I like everthing so far, only the back support element doesnt look very effective.

The seat cushion wears off, I’ve used this for more than 2 years and I’ve not had any other trouble.

A good value seat for working from home, easy to put together and offering reasonable support and adjustment. My only criticism is that the seat could benefit from additional, or firmer, padding, as it gets a bit hard after a few hours of continued use.

Chair is comfortable and was easy to put it together, but after few months of use seat looks awful. Very disappointed.

Good chair, but seat material is really cheap and bad. Disappointed

Bought product in Jun’21. 4 months down the line the chair seat keeps dropping down and does not hold in position.
There is no contact details available of the supplier after 30days from purchase.

I was researching for a home office chair for some time and eventually homed in on this one. It looks nice (very similar to the Herman Miller Aerion) at a fraction of the cost. The seat is comfortable my only constructive criticisms are that maybe could do with a bit more padding. I like that the arms go up and fold for easy storage under a desk. The lumbar support is ok.. I have added a lumbar roll that I already had for extra support. It would be good if you could tilt the back into a required reclined position. But despite my feedback here, I am happy with the chair, it works for me, looks great and is great value for what I paid.

I have waited for ages for a descent home office chair and this Hbada ergonomic chair seems tailored made for me. I weigh 120kg and most chairs are tested to a maximum of 110kg making it difficult to decide whether it can cope with the extra load. This chair can cope with 150kg which is fabulous! Comfortable to seat on for long periods of time.

Golden Review Award: 115 From Our UsersMy wife has frequently been working from home over the last 18 months. Setting her laptop up on the dining room table. But recently she has developed a hip problem through sitting too long at the ordinary dining room chairs. I don’t know why we didn’t get her a proper chair to work from at the start. At her workplace she uses chairs that were specially measured and constructed for her. But she says this chair is at least as good as those. It is comfortable, supportive, and well constructed So this definitely gets 5 stars from her.
When I saw in the advert that it should only take 15-20 minutes to put together I thought, “yeah right!” but I shouldn’t think it took more than 30 minutes, even for an old fool like me. Even the box it’s delivered in acts as a work bench in the assembly.
This item is first class in just about every way and we’ll worth considering if you are looking for a comfortable work chair.

Chair is comfortable with great back support, it doesn’t tilt back much I’d, only a couple degrees so be wary of that if that is what you need in a chair but otherwise great chair and great quality

I’ve had this chair for 8 months, and am already considering replacing it. It looks good, is easy to assemble, but the padding is very thin and wears down quickly. After a few months it doesn’t feel much different from sitting on a plastic chair. Would not recommend or purchase again.

This chair is nice and simple to assembled clean design comfortable but is missing neck support, is not a big deal if you just spend 2 or 3 hours for day but for more extensive time your neck gonna be a bit sort and you won’t have a support to hold it, so be aware.

Great product, delivered in good time. Tricky to put the wheels on but otherwise good instructions. I like ths way the arms can lift if you want them to. Only gripe would be that the top height is not enough for me to comfortably reach my desk

Not too hard to assemble, this chair has a pleasantly solid feel once constructed. Comfort is good, it doesn’t creak and the back is supportive. I personally like the tilt mechanism, although some reviewers here seem to find it a deal breaker, so factor that into your purchasing decision.

I’m giving this chair four stars instead of five because while comfort and support are good, I have used more comfortable and supportive chairs than this. However, none of those chairs were at this price point, so if you’re on a budget this chair is a good choice.

Sitting on an ordinary chair to use my computer had been giving me back ache for quite some while. My daughter-in-law had been having similar problems but since using the Hbada Ergonomic Desk Chair she has not had back ache and recommended it to me. She was absolutely right – now I don’t have back ache problems. But one piece of advice, when assembling the chair, don’t tighten any of the screw bolts until you have engaged the threads of all of them. With the arm rest bolts tightened I couldn’t get the seat bolts to line up with their respective bolt holes.

Golden Review Award: 126 From Our UsersThe chair arrived today very well packed. Instructions were basic but after 30 years of IKEA training it was a doddle to assemble. I had been looking at Herman miller and humanscale but couldn’t come to terms with the 650 price tag. I’d been looking and pondering for ages and finally bit the bullet. The colour is nice. It’s not your usual black lump and the fact that the arms fold up is handy for pushing the chair right under the desk. Height and back angle adjustment is basic but okay. Arm height for me is good (6 foot 2) and the material used, plastics and covers feel quite premium. For the money, this feels like a well made usable chair. I bought as Amazon renewed so it was an even bigger bargain.

Great value for money and good looking

    Pros:
An unbelievably comfortable chair for long hours of gaming.
Has provided relief from shoulder and back pain that other budget chairs failed to do.
Wide base that can be tilted back or forwards for maximum leg relaxation and comfort.
Armrests are a firm but squishy foam and prevent elbow sores which I have experienced with other chairs.
Easy to build, took less than fifteen minutes.

    Cons:
The lumbar support module at the back (the little wing-looking things) only moves up and down, not in and out like other ergonomic chairs, so that module I find doesn’t actually provide any support. It is more of an aesthetic part.

The product was well packaged and came with spare parts. It seems to be made of high quality materials. Easy to assemble and set-up. Replaced an older home office chair. The adjustable back lumbar support is what helps make this more comfortable. Would buy again from this seller.

Golden Review Award: 103 From Our UsersA very decent chair indeed, for the price you pay – doesn’t have all the bells and whistles, but good. Forced purchase as WFH in the current climate. Looks smart. Some comments about the chair tilting forward, instead of back. You just have to make sure you assemble it the right way. Will have to redo it, it it tilts forward. Also took me a while to realise that the lever has to be pulled out (away from you, if you’re sat on it) or pushed back in, to allow for the seat to tilt or stop it. It won’t tilt if you push it up or down or sideways. Easy to assemble. The mesh back actually helps to keep cool in hotter weather. Happy with purchase.

Golden Review Award: 143 From Our UsersMy computer chair literally collapsed last December (2020) so I needed another one fast, and decided I would give this one a go.
I suffer from severe back problems do the back support would be a good feature, although it isn’t obvious how to adjust it, once I had worked that out the support was excellent.

The cushion was fine too, but because of my condition I added a honeycomb memory foam cushions as well.
The mesh back is really comfortable and the arms can lift up too out if the way if you so wish, there is really nothing not to like about this chair, even if I ‘balloon’ to 21 stone (I hope not though) it will support me, one of the best weight bearing office chairs by far.

The price is now a lot cheaper and even at the price I paid I am more than happy !
If I had the space I would get another one as spare.

This chair is really great and very comfortable. Having the armrests is great to support sitting at my desk but you can also drop them by the side if you need to. Full 360 degree turn cycle and the castors work well with hardly any noise even on a wooden floor. The back of chair can recline slightly by means of under seat control and it also has an additional spine rest that can move up and down to suit the best place for setting this. The actual seating area is large too so plenty of sitting area. The chair was very easy to install only took me 30 minutes. Would definitely recommend and great addition to my office.

Impressive build quality considering the price and very easy to assemble. Doesn’t adjust in height as much as I would have liked or expected and I sit slightly lower than I did with my old chair. The width too is slightly narrower than I expected. Neither of these are a problem, just a difference I will just have to try to get used to.

Very comfortable chair, but the instructions were practically microscopic. Assembly has some head-scratching moments where it was unclear how pieces such as the central pole or the legs on the wheels should be attached. In the end it was just firm pressure, something that wasn’t explained well and that a customer might be nervous to do for fear of breaking a new item. Aside from that, very pleased.

Golden Review Award: 218 From Our UsersNeeded a chair for where I stay in the week – been working from home using a dining chair for months, and my back has been getting worse. Did not want to spend too much, just wanted something cheap and reasonable in terms of quality and support.

The main thing is that I find the chair pretty comfortable. There is lumbar support but not much and I think for some people it may not be enough – you can move it up and down a bit, but not in and out. I can only seem to cope with very thin lumbar support, so that suits me, but if you like a good lumbar cushion-type effect, may not be for you. I like the rocking motion too, it’s not too soft, so I don’t rock by accident.

Obviously, as others have said, the frame is all plastic, but seems very sturdy plastic. Pretty easy to assemble (15 mins), and come with a few spare screws. To get the castors into the plastic base – just put it the right way up, place the castor and bang down on the base, it’s easy enough. Photos in the assembly manual are quite hard to see, though not too much of an issue for me.

Flip-up arms are very handy. Not a very big chair. I am only 5ft 7 ins and it’s fine for me, and I really did not want a massive chair in the kitchen. I can see why some taller people may not have reviewed it so well. It is a pretty cool looking chair as well!

At the end of the day, it was 118 after discount and promo. My rating takes that into account. as a good, solid, cheap chair, it’s doing the job nicely. I would not compare this with a 1K chair from John Lewis.

Been using it for three days – hopefully, I will still feel positive about it in three weeks.

It would have been a 5 for overall but for the feet not being able to be inserted with my hands.

I had to revert to a small piece of wood and hammer to get those feet to engage. One or two took a bit of a harder knock to get them in.

But, the looks and feel are fantastic and I would recommend this chair to you to use in home and office. I really like the arms going into the up position to push chair under my desk.

I bought this chair as I have been sitting at my kitchen table for months. If you have been doing the same, then buy this chair now. It is nice and big comfortable, super easy to assemble. The only thing is that the rock doesn’t work and I was too lazy to return it as it does the job. I know is said the seat could be on backwards but I don’t think it is. Really recommend this chair for the price.

Golden Review Award: 121 From Our UsersI was a little sad, as just missed out on a lightening deal to get 29.99 off this chair, but am so glad I went ahead with the purchase.
I’m just over 5 feet tall. so it’s hard to get the right support in the middle of my lower back. As this support is adjustable, it’s perfect for me, and had made a great difference to my posture. I had bad shoulder pain before the chair, and it has now gone. I was obviously sitting in a twisted position previously, and that has now changed.
It’s also good to get the arms that raise up as I can push the chair further under my table so saving space and the fact that the arm rests are padded is another bonus.
Yes, it’s a considered purchase, but I’m feeling the benefits already.

I’ve looked for a good chair for ages. Wasn’t too sure about this, as I thought a black chair would look better, but this one seemed to be the only one that’s got all the features I needed. It was really easy to put together and it does wonders for my lower back. Working from home has taken a toll on my back and I was feeling a constant discomfort and a sort of a burning sensation in my lower back prior to getting this chair. I can honestly recommend it for people who spend a long time at a desk, it’s comfortable and it has really helped ease my discomfort.

Seems reasonable , you can obviously pay 100’s , even over 1,000 for a good office chair , with lockdown slowly easing I was not prepared to pay this so thought I would try this chair and see how I get on. Although no long term test done yet it seems ok and what I would expect for the price point , the adjustable lumbar support is a gimmick and doesn’t offer any additional support but the chair is shaped for the lower back anyway so this does not matter too much. No recline , but then why would you want to recline on an office chair anyway? I like the white frame as it contrasts nicely with all the black computer equipment and was something a bit different.

    Reasonable for the Price

It’s comfortable relatively easy to assemble with some spare parts.

Only thing I’d say is the arm rests feel as though they will break if I put too much weight on them, I’m using this chair for studio work, so being able to lift the arm rests up is a definite advantage and what I wanted, they just feel as though they can’t take much weight, not that I plan to sit on them.

  34. Erin Carson says:

Ordered for when working from home has been constant. Eased back pain and is very comfortable. The only issue was that the arm rests are not movable so they don’t fit under or over the desk, lifted them up and used that was instead.

Golden Review Award: 238 From Our UsersI have worked from home from pre Lockdown days and have had an adequate adjustable chair that I purchased from IKEA but it lacked armrests.
Having a small home office I wanted a chair that had a similar footprint to my existing chair (60cm) and armrests that would fold to allow the chair to fit under my desk unit.
Ordered on a Friday around noon and the chair was delivered by lunchtime the next day by the ever reliable DPD – the best courier by far.
All well packed in bubble wrap and in a very solid cardboard box.
Could not believe how easy it was to assemble. Four screws to attach the armrests to the back; four screws to attach the seat to the back; and four screws to attach the metal mechanism that is used for tilt and height to the seat; the wheels simply push into the base as does the pneumatic unit that joins the base to the seat and all this is done with the Allen key that is provided. Four plastic covers cover the screw heads on the seat back. There are spare screws and a screw head provided.
I went for the white chair which contrasts very nicely with the black mesh back and black seat.
Height adjustment is easy and uses the same arm underneath the seat that fixes and releases the rocking mechanism. It doesn’t stick out too far yet is easy to find with your hand.
This is a super comfortable chair that looks fabulous.
When shopping around Amazon there is a plethora of chairs at a wide range of prices. I am so glad my wife persuaded me to go over my original budget and buy this one.

Comfortable, easy to assemble. I’m big (6’2″, 100+ kg) and have the chair at max height, it works. Probably my larger frame is testing the limit of this chair for sturdiness and support but I can work a full day in it and have been the last 6 weeks with no issues. Recommend for home office, good value.

So for the first month this chair was amazing but after the chair started to get very creaky. Also the arms of the chair are very loose and move about a lot. I wouldn’t buy this chair if you expect it to last long

Really comfortable for my home office.
The assembly wasn’t great, no spring washers so each screw had to be tightened to the max especially on the armrests or they would’ve moved around had to use a different hexagon key to secure tightness the manual isn’t very good so common sense prevails, really pleased with the chair though.

I opted for this chair since Ikea doesn’t deliver in my area and I had to return a much more expensive chair due to faulty build.

I had low expectations since the price is so low but the chair has been a delight.

Pros: Extremely well labelled and easy to assemble. Lightweight and comfortable. Price is very affordable

Cons: Built from hard plastic mostly rather than metal. My last desk chair was so sturdy, you could put all your weight on both arms they wouldn’t budge. I don’t think I’ll try it with this one! That’s me being very critical though, it isn’t meant for monkey play anyways lol

Golden Review Award: 79 From Our UsersThe chair itself, bought in the Black Friday sale, is good value for what you get, and seems to be sturdy and comfortable enough after almost 2 months of use. The left arm developed some tension issues early on, but these were solved without sending anything back or getting a replacement part.

The arms are a bit low fully folded out, meaning that having them at an angle is needed to match the height of my desk, even at full height. This is a bit annoying, and not the most comfortable position, but it’s a problem that is worth adapting to for the price.

Asides from that the chair is generally quite comfortable for a couple of hours at a time, and is more than fit for purpose.

Golden Review Award: 189 From Our Users*DEC 2021. After it was out of guarantee, the Gas strut started to leak and the chair wouldn’t stay at the set height. I sent an email to Hbada to explain what had happened, but did not expect them to send F.O.C. (I expected to have to pay for a replacement) a brand-new Gas strut within THREE days! That kind of care simply does not usually exist nowadays, and as a result of their after-sales service, I have taken this review up from 4 to 5 stars! Well done Hbada.
    ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

I’ve used a few office/computer chairs over the years, & never found one that was comfortable enough for hours of continuous use: until now.

My last chair was only 10 months old & was by far the worst ever. Problems with the gas-strut; castors failing & the seat-pad sagging were the main reason that I got rid of it & bought the Hbada chair.

Assembly of the Hbada was straightforward, although some of the bolts between the seat & the back/arms were difficult to fit. However, one assembled, the chair looked & felt sturdy. The castors slide easily over the rug that sits under my PC, which was an achilles heel of the last chair & caused castor failure. The seat-pad is as comfortable as any decent chair that I have used, although a little more padding would be a bonus. The ability to raise the arms means that I can stow the chair under my computer desk when I’ve finished, & gives the Grandkids more space in an otherwise cluttered room. The back of the chair gives me good support, which is a major plus point, as most chairs that I’ve tried are very poor in this respect, & I’ve resorted to using an additional cushion to support my back to give that bit of comfort. I haven’t needed to do this with the Hbada chair, Excellent!

I have given an overall Four Stars (See top for taking the rating up to 5 stars). Ease of assembly could be better, but it’s as good as most comparable chairs. Support is definitely Five Stars. Comfort would have also rated at Five Stars if the seat-pad had a little extra filling or depth, but it’s still very good. To give some perspective, the best one I have ever used before the Hbada would have rated Three Stars at best. At the discounted Black Friday price, this is a really good purchase. It still beats other chairs in the region of its RRP & is worth consideration if you’re looking for a decent chair.

Easy assembly, all parts fitting together well. A comfortable chair in use, ergonomic and ventilated back very comfortable for long use. I have one minor point of complaint. after a few weeks use, the left armrest loosened to the point that it would lower at the least movement. The lock-nut cannot be reached without removing the arm, which I did and re-tightened the lock-nut. This appears to have sorted the problem, but time will tell. Gave a 4 star review, which would have been 5 if the armrest were more secure.

Well don’t expect a HM Aeoron feeling. It is a sub 200GBP chair. So for the money its good. Easy to assemble. Good looking. The back support thingy that you can move up or down is useless as when i sit the back end of the mesh doesn’t even touch the thing. But its comfortable even without that. The swing is a bit stiff, but i guess that will loosen up over time as it always does. Guess if you really want a good chair you have to pay more. But this one is good considering the price.

Easy to assemble however pushing the wheels in the holes was tough. Everything else spot on . Support as others have stated not great for the back. This chair is AMAZING! Have spent months trying to buy a suitable chair since the start of lockdown. Have really struggled with lower back pain so really needed proper posture support. Love it that the arms lift up although they are perfectly positioned when down. The seat depth is perfect, the back support is spot on. It’s made a huge difference to hours at the desk.

After suffering from lower back and neck pain from using the dining table and chair as my office desk, I opted to buy a proper chair. It was very easy to put together and looks smart. It’s comfortable enough for me to use all day but it probably could do with some more padding in the seat. Additionally, whilst there is a back support, it is not adjustable. The arms can be retracted but you cannot adjust the arm height. All in all though, a very reasonable chair for the price and I didn’t have to wait long for delivery either; ideal for a home “lockdown” office.

It’s a good-size, sturdy chair and is certainly more comfortable than the dining room chair I was sitting on. I did most of the assembly on my own but definitely needed an extra pair of hands when it came to putting the back on.
Be aware that the back is not adjustable. The whole chair can be tilted back, but there is not the option to adjust the angle of the backrest.

This took about 5-10 minutes to assemble. It seems sturdy and I like the white base and monochrome style. The arms flip up which is useful for moving around if you are working at a table or desk at home and space is a bit tight. It has quite a generous seat and the mechanisms are working well. My back feels supported although I think the seat cushioning may be a little soft/thin for some people.

My youngest boys have a shared desk and they end up getting the hand me downs from their big brother once he gets an upgrade, this time however one of the chairs was just too far gone so needed replacing.

Now don’t get me wrong this is way over the top for kids, and definitely suits a home office or similar as it’s a really comfortable seat, however it just works with the decor in their room and they love the adjustability. It took a decent amount of time to put together, as it comes in a few pieces, but once you figure it out it’s pretty straightforward and none of the pieces will go where needed unless they’re in the right place so you just can’t go wrong.

A good chair, but after a couple of hours you get really numb bum, for r is that just the 16st me. Good back support. The assembly instructions could be a lot better… right number of bolts but doesn’t say use the short ones for the seat and the long ones for the arms! Trial and error got there. A new memory foam seat thing mitigates the issue.

Golden Review Award: 211 From Our UsersRelatively easy to assemble with clear instructions. The chair isn’t super expensive but seems well made and also looks stylish.
Far more comfortable and supportive than my previous chair. I find the adjustable back support particularly welcome.
I’ve had it about a month and haven’t complained of any back or neck pain in that time. The padding on the chair is perfectly adequate for hours of back to back meetings.
The base of the chair is plastic and the castors go straight into the plastic. I’m slightly dubeous this design will last well with regular use but only time will tell if it’s durable. So far so good though.
I have the chair at it’s full height adjustment, so if you’re much taller than 6ft with long legs then it may not be the chair for you (for reference I’m about 5ft11″). Worth comparing the max seat height with the recommended ergonomic adjustment for your height if you worried.

Golden Review Award: 234 From Our UsersI have no trouble in recommending this aesthetically pleasing, ergonomic office chair. I find it to be of sound quality, well made with robust, sturdy parts and clearly it will last a long time in my opinion. Comes unassembled in a large box. It’s quite heavy and so it should be to withstand a lot of weight.

Although it comes with instructions, I always find the wheels to be most tricky to attach. I recommend having a rubber mallet as I do, just to gently tap the wheels into the legs. After that, just assemble as per the instructions using the included allen key and screws etc. Assembly is easy and I had it up and running in no time. I think it’s very comfortable to sit on and it’s easy on my lumber region. I recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 215 From Our UsersAfter months of working from home; it was time to buy a chair. After reading the reviews as you do; I also checked the top 10 office chairs online and well this was the 2nd most recommended chair. So I decided on this particular one because of the colour and I’ve had similar chair in my office, so I’ve already tested it. The product came on time, no issues with anything missing and pretty straight forward to assemble. I timed myself with assembling the product and believe me; I did not rush to make it.

Couple of draw backs; the arm rest is slight loose and well I have to keep adjusting it if I accidentally put weight on. The height is not ideal for the table I have; so I’m pretty much sitting on a cushion. But this does not make the product faulty. I would still recommend it and I would still buy the same one if I was given the option again.

    I’m happy with my purchase!

Golden Review Award: 211 From Our UsersThis chair was cheap, looking for an ergonomic chair with lumbar support that will take a 120kg load. Previously had a leather exec chair which encourages me to slouch and recline. So my posture was aweful and suffered back pain and migraine .

This chair is a lot more comfortable that I expected, doesn’t recline so it forces me into a good posture I’m sure I was convinced initially i would hate it bit it’s comfy, light, much less intrusive in the office. The lumber support moves so I can support my back properly . So far so good.

Assembly was easy, follow the instructions . It suggest using the box during construction makes positioning arms easier. So assembled and ready in 10 minutes.

Casters run on carpet nicely and smoothly and most importantly doesn’t creak like my old one.

    Really happy with i

Golden Review Award: 200 From Our UsersI needed a better chair for working from home and this one fits the bill perfectly. It is comfortable and feels good quality, especially given that it was one of the cheaper listed options. The fold-able arms means it can be tucked neatly under my desk to save space (also handy as they don’t get in the way when I am playing Bass guitar!).
