This was purchased for work with its use primarily for valeting cars and it does a satisfactory job.
Pros:

This has great suction and very easy to clean out as well.
This carpet cleaner has really impressed me very good suction and easy to use left my carpets clean and refreshed and the joy of seeing the dirty water in the machine ! Also great that you can leave clean water in the machine ready to spring into use should puppy have accident very convenient great value machine too
For the value it ain’t bad at all. Suction, movability glides ok but if I’ve done more than 3 rooms back does start to hurt (but could just be me) the accessories such as poles and extra bits could do with somewhere to put it when not in use. And cable doesn’t tidy away so is a little obstructing but hoover itself is good. Oh but apart from the spray… part it gets blocked or sprays elsewhere..
It’s brilliant still using it at family members house to show how good it is
Easy to use carpet cleaner. Used it on carpet and cream settee that has had lots of use and it did a good job.
Perfect for the home that have pets and light carpets, so easy to put together, easy to use, really glad I bought it.
Arrived 1 day late and a hose jet for the solution spray pipe didn’t work but sorted a replacement part and got refunded accordingly. Had to make do with the upholstery attachment to do the kids room carpet which took a little longer than expected but all in all it works good and easy to use if you actually read the instructions or look at a tutorial video on YouTube first, I see a lot of reviews on here of people saying it’s complicated which is actually ridiculous. You need to use good old elbow grease as you don’t have any brushes agitating the carpet to loosen the dirt/stains. Pre spray and leave it to work in for a minute or two and get a brush or soft nail brush to work the solution in where you have bad staining and that should help. Works as expected and generally handy to have.
Henry Wash has taken up residence in our home. He’s a very useful machine but you do need to be fit to operate him. He’s heavy, very heavy. Best to take the water tank out to carry Henry upstairs. Even without water he’s still a beast.
The upholstery nozzle is fabulous. Great for stairs, sofas, spot cleaning. Cleaning isn’t effortless, so be prepared to put your back into it – quite a good workout. I used warmish water rather than cold. I cleaned the stair carpet (never been cleaned in 20 years) which is a bit threadbare in places and has had a succession of tradespeople in dirty boots tramping up and down over the years. The carpet looks brighter and all the stains are gone. After that, I cleaned the study carpet with the fishtail nozzle. I found the trick is to lift the nozzle off the ground and spray some solution, agitate (important) and leave for 5 minutes. Then spray, agitate again and extract, and finally extract, extract, extract. Yes, it’s a faff but the results are great. The study carpet came up a treat and the big coffee is no more. I wanted one machine that does carpets, hard floors, stairs, upholstery, the lot, and that’s what I got. We have awkward spaces, and this is where Henry scores. It would be quite difficult to manoeuvre an upright around in some of my rooms.
In my opinion this machine might not be a good choice if you have large rooms or are not able (or willing) to put the effort in. However, I think it’s a solidly built investment piece that will serve you well if you don’t mind a bit of effort.
This Henry is very easy to use it can be a bit heavy to use upstairs but fill it up when you get there!

Bought this just in time as my dog became very poorly the next day and it handled the clean ups extremely well. Easy to fill and reassemble. Only down sides are the weight (as it’s quite heavy with the water in) and the hose and wire gets tangled as the water pipe keeps coming off the suction pipe. The plastic clips do not keep it in place. If the wire was a recoil wire it would make life easier. The wire is very long so great for reaching places away from your power source but it does get in the way as there’s so much of it. Still a brilliant product and I would highly recommend it.

I had used a Vax version a number of years ago and this one works on a similar principle. Fill Will water and cleaning solution, brush carpet to get pile to stand up, especially on older more worn carpets and make sure you don’t over wet the carpet. With a bit of practice, the results were pretty impressive. Also great on a tiled kitchen floor cleaning the tiles where a steam mop was useless due to a build up of dirt in the riven pattern and light grey colour. I have also tried this on upholstery of an arm chair and again with a bit of practice this gave impressive results. I haven’t tried it on car seats yet but see no reason why it won’t be equally as impressive as the larger numatic version that our local garage uses.

I was also unpleasantly surprised that just after the purchase the delivery day already cost 20 less. The vacuum cleaneritself did its job properly.

I think doing a carpet with it would be rather hard work, but for rugs it’s great p. It’s a good machine and will certainly last for many years and it’s made in the UK which is a bonus.

I’ve gone from a basic stand up Vax which never left the carpets feeling clean and it also only did carpets it had no option for upholstery. This little Henry is easy to put together, easy to use and not half as loud as my old Vax is.
It seems quite hardy too, I have two large dogs that malt.. Alot.. And I must not of hoovered very well before using the Henry Wash and it picked the left over hairs up no problem.
It’s so easy to use, just has the two functions to release the shampoo or to suck the mucky water up, I’ve so far used the main head for the carpets then used the upholstery one for the sofa and dog beds, the main attachment for the carpet I can’t fault, got so much water out of the carpet. The upholstery head didn’t get as much water out but as I’ve never used one for upholstery I just assume it’s because it’s only touching the cover and not the stuffing in either the sofa or the dog beds
So far very very impressed and chuffed with my purchase – I would of put before and after pictures up but I was very embarrassed of the colour of the water after, my Vax has been doing even less than I though

Doesn’t F up newer carpet like the upright brushed machines, and leaves a lot dryer.
Not for professional use as cleaning reservoir is small but perfect for DIY carpets and cars

This is a great machine it has a great suction which a lot of upright ones don’t have carpets and furniture dry in less than two hours it’s as good as industrial ones l used years ago that cost a thousand pounds

Easy to use and good value – bought for the car and occasional house use – better performance on smaller areas and with the small end piece.
I bought it for clean my carpet and I really like it. Proper cleaning just takes couple of hours to dry
When using it I was expecting to see loads of dirty water and debris coking up the hose and there wasn’t so I was convinced it wasn’t working.
However when I emptied the bucket I was so shocked at the colour of the water and the amount of fur it had collected without my realisation.
Very impressed, my house smells lovely and fresh now and it’s also super easy to use on the stairs and on the car upholstery 🙂 I’d recommend to anyone.

Easy to use easy to fill and empty great all round product just what you expect from a henry
Very pleased with the efficiency of the product! It can give results similar to professional cleaning! It takes some time to assemble each part but the cleaning is fast and proper! Good investment for any household!
so i looked for a cheaper alternative and came across a amazon warehouse deal George but that was quite heavily damaged and without the warranty i returned that and got a Henry wash instead since it was cheaper than the discounted George. Basically the Henry Wash and george 3 in 1 Machines are the same BUT the hose on the George is better and it comes with the dry tools.
there is a great video on you tube that shows you how to use the machine i would surggest to go and watch that.
performance wise i was amazed at how good the machine is and easily matched more expensive machines.
on the down side the bucket in a bucket design is a bit of a pain having to take the moter of the ball valve then the clean water tank then the hose to carry the base (there isnt a handle either) to the drain is a pain and a big as well as the clean water tank means the machine fulls up alot lot faster. but having said that i would still highly recommend the Henry wash solely on its performance.
but for the extra 30 i probably should have got the George as i have spent 30 Getting the bits to use it as a dry Vac as well.

Definitely reccomend this moved in to my property not long back already had capets down had already washed carpet with a previous washer I was shocked at how much dirt came from carpe
Although the appliance is a little heavy when full the wheels more than make up for this. Very easy to assemble and use and brilliant results on carpets. Have not tried it on upholstery but am sure I will not be disappointed.

The first amazon warehouse deal I don’t have to return … whoever did have this before put the trigger on the wrong pole (bargain for me ) so easy to set up and use cleaned my well used rug and it was touch dry within 20 minutes
ot quite as straight forward to use with all the pipes and attachments but a good solid unit that works really well very pleased we added this one to our numatic fleet i think we now have about 6 different models arround both house and businesses .

Easy to carry around and manoeuvre. Sucks up water very well. You need to agitate by hand when spreading shampoo which can be a bit tiring when doing larger areas. Excellent on stairs and smaller areas.
Took me awhile to work out how to put it together initially but with help of video on YouTube got the hang of it. It’s easy once you know!
Having got a Harry and a Henry wash my carpet cleaning is now sorted. Being compact they store away easily. Gave Henry wash a 4star as you do have to do a little bit of work yourself, however, I do love him!
Having used Karcher carpet cleaners whilst working for a cleaning company I was very surprised at how this product performed, easy to use and with the same performance as a Karcher, very happy

Used it on a cream carpeted car interior and it transformed it, used it with vanish as a pre soak applied straight to the carpeting, then filled the henry wash with warm water and used it to wash the soap out, sucking it up. The water removed was the colour of cola! The interior looked like it had been on fire prior to the cleaning, so I’m hugely impressed.
Also, if debating this or a George, I almost guarantee you already own a dry vacuum, and if you’re anything like me you’ll set up a George in wet vac mode, and leave the dry gubbins in the garage forever. Personally, save over 100 and buy the Henry wash- you get the same performance as a wet vac, and no dry accessories to lose/trip over.

For the money is a good option. It’s not that powerful though, and with the larger attachment I find it hard to absorb all the water from the carpet. The small actually does a better job because is smaller the air pressure is higher due to the size. A good alternative to more pro and expensive ones.

When cleaning rugs the cleaning head sprayed far wider than the area it sucked up leaving my wood floors & anything else in the area drenched.
It is probably best suited to cleaning car carpets and smaller areas using the smaller tool which is much easier to use.
The cable storage isn’t as well designed as my henry Hoover which has a handle to retract & stores inside the lid, this cable simply wraps around a hook on the back of the lid.

I have read reviews saying it is difficult to assemble and hard work to use. Read the instructions, think about what you are doing and assembly is no problem.. If you find it hard work to use then you are definitely doing it wrong. Don’t scrub at the carpet, pull the head towards you slowly while spraying. The water will be immediately sucked up with all the dirt and grit. No pressure needed. If you press down the pile will be flattened and the cleaner can’t do its job properly.
I have spondylosis and arthritis and found it as easy, or easier, to use than an upright vac’.
Do not take any notice of the youtube video made by the guy who broke the shampooer head by scrubbing away at the carper like a crazy man except as a lesson in absolutely how not use the Henry Wash, or any carpet shampooer.
Works well, the only complaint are the hoses, could have an easier system to change accessories.
I have owned several Numatic Henry vacuums over the years ( we currently have 3) and needed an extraction cleaner, all the parts required fit and work exactly as they should but expected nothing else from this great brand. The pricing was extremely competitive.
Bought as an upholstery cleaner, cleans well great for sofas n the cars! It comes with a tile floor cleaner which worked surprisingly well! Scrub with one side then flip n suck up the water!! Cleans the carpets well aswell! A lot better than the vax one we had before

The instructions for setting up the machine are meant to be simple- as they are all photos- but they aren’t that user friendly at points. Luckily- you can just work it out !
I hoovered the landing last nights and set to work. I’m pleased with how fresh and clean it feels – for a rented house- the carpet is well used- but for me, it feels 100% better

I feel the house needed freshening up and wanted to buy a carpet cleaner and upholstery cleaner rather than just getting rid of our couch for a new one (throw away nation ! And our couch is very comfy)

The instructions for setting up the machine are meant to be simple- as they are all photos- but they aren’t that user friendly at points. Luckily- you can just work it out !
