We bought this as its cheaper to pop this on 20 mins before going to bed,,,makes it nice in the winter to just drop in to bed snuggle down and go to sleep rather than wait for the freezing bits to keep waking us up.

Lovely to warm the bed before getting in. Easy to put on the bed, easy to use controls. Can’t fault it! Love it!

It doesnt have a timer function, thats why I gave it 4stars.
Three heat levels good enough to warm the bed, keep you warm and a extra bit for a very cold day.
It will warm up the bed in a few minutes, doesnt need to long.
Big money saver using this during winter.
Individual temperature control, so you can have one side of the bed on and the other of or each side on different levels.

I have an extra deep mattress but this fits it securely, there is no rucking or movement despite the fact that both my husband and I are very restless sleepers. I like the fact that the heating starts from where the pillows finish so there are no cold spots,( the very expensive electric blanket it replaced had a cold strip down the middle of the bed and the heating element was so far down I had to sleep 3/4 of the way down the bed to have warm shoulders).
15 min warm up is perfect for chilly nights. the only fault I can find is that there is no automatic switch off, it would be perfect if there was the option of the blanket switching off automatically our previous blanket had the option of automatic switch off at 1, 4, 8 or 12 hours.

I researched blankets and this one came out on top for me. It is nice and comfortable and covers the whole bed (so it warms your feet to). I don’t sleep with it on as I get too hot so I can’t comment on how it is for all night use. The only small thing I would change is the difference in temp between the medium and hottest settings, medium is a tiny bit too cool and the hottest a tiny bit too warm. However, that is based on my personal preference. I would definitely buy this blanket again.

This was purchased for a spare super king bed and whilst it is on the bed and has been tested to ensure that it works it has not been used “in anger”. We have purchased a king size blanket of this make before and found it to br very good…..Indeed it warmed up far quicker than our everyday bed?

At last an electric blanket which doesn’t have elastic corner straps ( which always stretch), or long ties (which are hard to get under a heavy mattress). This has an elasticated nylon ‘skirt’, like a valance, which tucks in all round the mattress. Controls are simple, the connection at the blanket end is well under the pillows, so you don’t feel any hard lumps. Three heat settings are quite enough, and so far it has performed perfectly well.
Time will tell whether, or how soon, the control units will malfunction, which has happened with our last two blankets.
As others have remarked, I’m not sure we can detect any ‘extra foot warmth’, but what you’ve never had, you don’t miss.

I did a lot of research into getting an electric blanket, as it was our first ever one, I didn’t want something too expensive just incase I hated it but I also wanted specific things, dual controls, the heat filling the whole bed with no child spots (apart from pillow area). I’m so glad I got this one. It would be lovely if it had a timer control on it, but I figured I could use a plug in timer if it really bothered me.

The blanket:
*Heats up well. The hottest setting gets lovely and toasty. It also heats up quite quickly.
*Has no cold spots between each sides so there’s no “join” in the middle.
*Has a skirt. This makes fitting it to the bed really easy and sturdy
*Has thin wires. You don’t notice the wires in the blanket, I always thought of electric blankets with really uncomfortable wires.

I like the controls, they are very simple. Click up to switch on to 1, again to 2, again to 3. Click all the way to the bottom to switch off, which is handy because you can do it in the dark by following the lead with your hand to the controller and pushing the knob all the way to the bottom. I find the number 1 setting to be just right. It makes the whole area feel as though you’ve been lying on it for some time, so there are no cold parts when you roll over. It has really improved my night’s sleep as I no longer wake up cold. I haven’t tried 2 and 3. Also great as you can have one side on and the other off, but note there are two plugs so need a socket each side of the bed. You can feel the heating elements through a sheet, but they are flat and haven’t affected my comfort in any way. Only had the blanket for a couple of weeks, so can’t comment on robustness, but very happy with it at the moment.

If it was’t for the flimsy switching mechanism, I would have scored it five stars, we have had 3 of these in the past, and they are excellent, warm up quickly and head to toes warmth, apart from the switching mechanism which has always broken after one winter, and each time we buy a new one it has a different switching mechanism, I have considered buying two at once, but then always live in hope that the switches will work longer than one season..

This is a very good product so far. The size is absolutely perfect for my super king mattress, it warms up quickly and the fact can be adjusted differently for the two sides of the bed is ideal. The appendix for the plug inside the cover are at the very top of the cover and do not come into your way (my previous one had those in the middle… very frustrating).

It is great to be able to buy a SK electric blanket these days. This one arrived quickly and was easy to fit – we pulled the fitting “sides material” down, so that the elements reach to the bottom but not over the mattress. Not sure how hot the material itself will feel in warmer weather.

We read lots of reviews of models and hope we have bought a good model – none sound very reliable. It would have been nice to have been able to buy a model which heated the foot area quicker.

This is MASSIVE. But it’s good, and gets really hot. The dual control zone is also helpful. Not entirely sure how much electricity it uses, but I don’t care either – having a warm bed is super cool! The product does however lose one star because when I use the control, I see little blue sparks on the inside… can’t be too safe…

I’ve got mine on a latex mattress that I previously thought could not take an electric blanket, but it’s fine. The controls are simple mechanical ones, which means they are unlikely to go wrong. The sliders have little raised nubs beside each of the 3 heat settings, so you can tell in the dark which heat position you have got, though you have to feel quite carefully.

I would have given it 5 stars if there was a better way to check the setting; bigger nubs or backlit ones or something. I would like a little bit more reassurance when I tumble into bed that it’s not set above 1.

Great purchase and does exactly what it says it will do. Only three heat settings but that’s fine by me and you cannot feel the wiring in the blanket when fitted as instructed. Fitted our superking mattress perfectly. Great to have independant controls for each side of the bed. Superb price much cheaper than competitors but it seems to be good quality.

An electric blanket is in my opinion an essential in life. I have been using this one for over a year and it works well. If I’ve forgotten to turn it on well in advance it seems to take the chill off during the time taken to get ready for bed. Probably it ideally needs to be on for half an hour. However I have one half plugged into a timer, so I usually can get into bed with at least one warm half. As I have the whole bed to myself this meand I can use the unheated half to cool down if I really didn’t need the bed so warm. The low setting is barely noticeable, but it is a good one to leave on all night just to keep the chill off in cold weather. It’s very easy to forget about the low setting when you get out of bed and leave it on all day. A ‘fitted’ electric blanket is certainly a great improvement over the old sort which were tied into position with tapes.

On a cold winter’s night there is nothing better than climbing into a warm bed! This blanket is not as hot as my previous one but is quite hot enough. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the required temperature so you need to switch it on before you start to get ready for bed. As it has dual controls one side can be warmer or cooler than the other depending on personal preferences. The only reason I gave 4 and not 5 stars is that I find the cable attachment a little intrusive in my bed and it is sometimes in the way. I would have preferred it hanging down the side of the blanket instead of on the top so I wouldn’t feel it as I sleep. I like the fact the blanket fits right over the mattress and is elasticated. It stays in place much better than one with ties.

Don’t buy an expensive one this is brilliant. we have a very deep mattress and this cover will fit over anything.It is better than string fittings and stays put. Heats up by time stated and plenty hot enough with only 3 settings. I have had it for 2 weeks and so far i am delighted.

This fits my super king bed with extra deep mattress, perfectly. The netted skirt is great and really keeps the blanket in place on the mattress, much like a fitted sheet would stay in place – only better! My fitted sheets always ping off the corners! I usually only put one side on, although both sides heat up very well. I turn it on the top heat setting about half an hour before going to bed, and it’s lovely and toasty warm when I get in. I switch it off when going to sleep because it’s a bit too warm on high to sleep comfortably for me. I could, I suppose, switch it to a lower heat setting to leave it on all night but I don’t find I need to, I’m asleep in no time. One thing, it cools down pretty quick, but that could equally be the duvet type and bedding etc. I would definitely recommend this blanket, it’s a bargain considering the size of the bed and the comparative costs of other blankets for super kings, I’ve paid more for a duvet cover set! There’s no need for heating zones, 10 settings and bells and whistles etc. This heats your bed to a lovely temperature, fits the bed and stays in place – what more do you need from it?! Get one! It’s winter and chilly 🙂

his electric blanket is perfect . it actually fits the bed !!!! no stupid strings and, it also covers the whole bed so you don’t get any cold spots that the blanket misses.
the price is also perfect so all in all no reason not to buy if you want a electric blanket.

We bought this to go with our new superking bed and it is perfect. It’s easy to fit, stays where it needs to be and the three heat settings make it great for whatever the temperature outside is (we live in a rented flat without double glazing, so the bedroom is borderline freezing sometimes!).

I had a fitted electric blanket when I had a smaller bed and loved it but I couldn’t afford one for my Superking. So when I saw this I snapped it up for the price. I have a deep pocket sprung mattress and fitted over perfectly. My old one had cotton material sides to go over the mattress but this one is more like net. If you have long nails you need to be careful as they would go straight through and rip it. It doesn’t really bother me however as I really wanted a fitted electric blanket and as long as it does the job I’m happy. It has dual control with 3 heat settings. All 3 settings are on a par with other electric blankets heat wise. The electric blanket part is also much softer than my old one too. I’m not going to freeze this winter 🙂

Cheaper than the mainstream alternatives but just as well made. The company responded to a small manufacturing fault with no problem. It is easily big enough and the connectors are placed at the corner! Not at the bottom of the pillow where you roll on them in the middle of the night.
Only ‘downside’ I could put down are –
1) The control leads could do with slightly more flex from the mattress.
2) Seems a bit cooler than equivalent mainstream ones – but that’s no bad thing.

All told, excellent product, excellent value, excellent company – did I m iss anything out?

We purchased this electric blanket after reading the good reviews on here, which were all spot on.

It is a perfect fit on our deep mattress, the 3 settings are adequate for the varying cold weather, #2 for cold nights, #3 is super toasty for the very cold nights we have experienced recently, and it only takes around 20 minutes to get up to temperature.

Excellent buy for an excellent price, from a company who got it to us in 48hours.

I’ve only had this a few days but my thoughts are that it stays on the bed, unlike those with ties, mine heats right to the bottom but as someone else has said it’s not as warm as some others – I’ve been using it on 3 for about an hour before I go to bed and yes the bed is warm, but not very warm. The 2 seperate controls are great, husband doesn’t want his side of the bed heated, the switches are removeable for washing (checked that before I bought, with quick response) and in our case they are long enough to reach onto the bedside table, but I have a metal bead which is quite hight. Overall, good value for money, previous good reviews swayed it for me from another brand which seemed fraught with problems but I guess only time will tell.

I am very pleased with this ‘super king’ fitted electric blanket. It is very comfortable, with no wires to lie on…and it doesn’t slide about the bed, as they usually do. The dual controls are also very useful.

So far well worth the money, and lovely to ‘snuggle’ into bed, on these cold winter nights!
