Ordered this blanket because it fits on the bed like a fitted sheet, no strings involved at all. The heat gets down to the bottom of the bed as per description. Coincidentally our central heating broke down during the big freeze – don’t know what I would have done without it as I went to bed to keep warm! Very pleased, a good purchase!!!
This blanket is very warm and does the job, but unfortunately the control is very poor. It has three temperature settings but they are very clunky. It also has two positions where the device is switched off. This is not good as you do not know and cannot see if when you switch it of if it goes to one or three when switched on. The number settings cannot be determined in the dark either, as the markings on the control cannot be seen in the dark. The neon light on the control is too bright but not bright enough to see the controls in the dark. I have to use and external timer as this unit has no timing function.
So in conclusion this is not the best but not bad enough to return. Had I known these issues before I purchased it.. I probably would not have bought it.
We use the blanket to take the chill of the bed.I like a nice warm bed to get into during winter.

Half an hour before bedtime, I set it up to level 3. Just heaven to go into a deliciously warm bed in this cold weather. No need to heat the bedroom when you have this under blanket.

Love the fact it’s dual control and can put one side on later than the other.
First time I e used one and so pleased I looked at the reviews as I didn’t want it to be lumpy. It’s warm, soft and heats up quickly and has auto switch off for peace of mind. Its also machine washable, I had the super king and so pleased I’ve brought a single one now for the guest bed
NB Don’t break the security tag on the zipper before checking it’s the right blanket; otherwise it cannot be returned! Not an issue for me but I only read the warning after unpacking…!
So far, so good after some three months of daily use. It has a particularly deep, elasticised, skirt for fitting securely to the S.King mattress, which makes it a winner over blankets with ties or narrow skirts that have to be overstretched and invariably creep up.
Got this for our superking mattress which is quite deep.. it has a fitted skirt so fits a treat.. only had it on to try as only just purchased.. but no riding up and coming off at the corners. Heated up in a few minutes so I doubt when used it would need to be on long. Needs a plug each side by the way at the pillow end

This is the fourth similar Homefront electric blanket which has been bought by ourselves or our (adult) children. All continue to work well. The controls allow for a lot of adjustment between very warm on the one hand and just taking the chill off the sheet on the other. You can just about feel that they are there but I do not think any of us have found that a problem – you very rapidly cease to notice. They stay on the bed because the elasticated “curtain” tucks under the mattress. Thoroughly recommended.
I’ve had electric blankets before but this is simply heaven. I bought the superking size for my 6ft bed and it covers it entirely including my feet and warms up quite quickly. Once turned off it does cool quite quickly tho but if you turn it to number 1 it stays warm for ages. The fact that you can have just one side of the bed heated is a bonus as it has 2 separate controls so if hubby gets too hot he can just set the control to a lower heat

Love the size comfort & the switches at both sides of the bed for different heats. It heats up in about 15 mins as well.Cant fault it at all lts great.
Love the extra heat at feet and separate temp controls for each side of the bed means we can both be comfortable.

The only thing that’s missing is a timer – I fell asleep and woke up broiling because there is no function to set it to be on for one hour. Otherwise, v happy

Dual controls with 3 settings, fits our bed exactly which is a super king. Very pleased with purchase, arrived very quickly

It’s not a faff to our on the bed because of the elasticated skirt.
It doesn’t move around.
It hasn’t got any annoying protuberances, like my last (bin bound) electric blanket.

I read so many reviews before purchasing this blanket. I’m absolutely thrilled that I chose this one. It’s outstanding. I was concerned about the power connection as I sleep at the edge of the bed. Our previous blanket plug would hurt my shoulder and was very uncomfortable. I can’t feel this one at all. It’s at the top of the blanket and I can sleep without a pillow perfectly. The skirt stops it from moving and I couldn’t be happier. If you’re looking for a quality electric blanket, this is it!!
Unlike many other electric blankets I’ve purchased over the years this one actually fits the bed properly and heats right up to the edges. Extremely pleased with product and price.
It fits, it was very ready to put on. Nothing is obtrusive or difficult. It works.
I agree with many that the blanket is slow to warm up, even on setting 3. Needs to be on well before bedtime (hence 4 from 5). The good news is that given the simple slide controls you can use a SMART plug (some controls require you to make more than one setting so you can’t use a SMART socket) and turn it on with Alexa or an app, or as I have done with a timer on my mobile app which I can override at any time should I want to. Certainly warm around the feet… cables are out of the way.. all good!

The light which comes on to say it is on went on my side of the bed – but does not matter I just switch on at plug – love these blankets very comfy – fit the bed properly top bottom and sides and great warmth. Would highly recommend – have bought five super king so far and love them!

Absolutely love this electric blanket. It’s comfortable to lay on & the socket/connector is high enough up the bed so as not to dig into you like our previous blanket by a different maker did. There’s 3 heat settings to choose from depending on how hot you want to be which is useful. This item arrived quickly & would use this seller again.
This blanket is lovely, each side has its own control, it warms up in just a few minutes. It’s very command easy to fit with its mesh sides, it also stays in place which a lot of blankets don’t . Highly recommend this electric blanket.
This is my first electric blanket and was purchased to ease my husbands aches and pains. Now I wonder why we waited so long to purchase one as it lovely to get into a warmed bed. I worried that I might be able to feel the blanket on the bed but it hasn’t affected my sleep at all and my husbands aches and pains are slowly improving too.
After the minor struggle to connect and fit this new blanket onto the bed, the luxury of climbing into a gently warmed bed on the recent cold nights has made the investment well worthwhile. Perhaps the electricity bill, when it arrives shortly will give pause for thought about over extended reliance on the blanket all night, but that correction has still to come.
I’m pretty happy with this product, fits nicely over my very deep mattress, comfortable to lie on and doesn’t slip about like others I’ve had in the past. However it’s highest setting it’s only warm in my opinion and I had hoped for a nice toasty bed.
Best thing, ever! This had a lovely soft cover and I could not feel the heating elements when I slept on it. It fitted just like a fitted sheet and the heating elements went right to the edge of the bed. The other half has refused to switch his side on yet but with the separate heating systems I can get a lovely warm side!

Hi, I am very pleased with the Electric Blanket I have received it is so easy to put on the mattress and is so nice and warm to get in to the bed and I like it is all the way round the edge of the mattress and down by the feet.
This is an excellent blanket – fitted perfectly on my super king sized bed. Good heat and no awkward bugles from wires etc. I can highly recommend.

I have only had this for a couple of days so can’t give a full evaluation. However I am very impressed so far. I like the skirt – plenty of tuck in. The thing that has impressed me most is the fact that the wires go almost to the bottom of the bed. I have looked at other blankets only to find that the wires do not go anywhere near the bottom of the bed and as I am tall this would not suit me.
Also I like the simplicity – not to everyones taste but just 3 heat settings with no fiddly timers (that I wouldn’t want anyway). Only had it on setting no 1 so far and it is very cosy.
Only turned it on once to test it so far but looking forward to using it regularly as the colder nights arrive

The control is easy to use and has a light to alert you that it’s on. You don’t feel anything under the sheets.
