This is the second one I purchased, the previous one broke but that was my fault as I caught it on a sharp object. The hose extends out to three times the length and contracts in itself which is great. The length is perfect. Would highly recommend!
I love this hose, it’s great. My only gripe (not supplier’s fault) is that I wish the delivery service pressed that magic button on my door, so that the bell rings. How is anyone supposed to know the courier has just dumped it there and bimbled off? That’s how stuff goes missing.
Bought one for my mum also as I was very happy with mine , it’s so much easier to store away when not in use compared to the other types of hose pipes . I have caught mine on a sharp brick and have a small tear in it but at this price compared to others I won’t mind having to buy another one day
Very good garden hose for the price. It offers multiple jets which is useful to water the flowers, clean your deck, etc. It gives a good amount of pressure.
And it is very easy to use.
Item look fairly robust and will stand the ever expanding/shrinking of his during use. Arrived promptly and well within time frame. Came with an nozzle attachment with different spray combinations.
Does what it says on the box, just don’t know how long it will last, the last one lasted maybe 3 years or so

The first hose I got leaked but the seller sent a replacement very quickly. This is lightweight and easy to use. Has a lot of different spray options on the nozzle. Excellent for storage as it collapses down.
Very thin tube so do not drain things like a pool through it as it could become blocked.
Also do not put hot water through it as it could fold in on itself.
I haven’t done any of those lol but they did crossed my mind when using the pool.
Also you have to hold the handle at all times as it jumps about like a distressed snake. I put that down to it being so thin and lightweight. I had to put a heavy glass jug in it to keep it still while filling our pool.

I was so pleased with a previous purchase of this hose that I have bought another. It replaces a heavy reel and hose that was taking up valuable space. It’s a pleasure to use. Only thing that I have had to do for both hoses is replace the male tap connector with one with a longer thread. Then I wound plenty of plumbers tape round the tap thread and screwed on the tap connector. Absolutely no leak.
Good value For the money, can’t complain so far, works a really well , will probably only do 1 or 2 seasons but at that price who cares ,so much easier than my expensive Hozelock hosepipe on a reel for doing the every day tasks ,pots etc

Loved this hose when I first got it! But it was left out during the winter and have just gone to use it and the two main connections have cracked! They are made of plastic so haven’t lasted. Point to note – the fabric covering the hose also stinks after being left outside. Product not fit for purpose. Would not buy this product again!

so far so good. we have only had it a couple of days. very aware that no dragging which is very difficult to do when watering a garden.

Good pipe does the job,my problem was imismeasured and unfortunately wasn’t long enough, however it works ok and does empty itself,making it easy to store
This hose is the best I’ve ever bought. I have an average sized garden & can easily reach 99% of shrubs & tubs. When you’ve finished & turned off the tap just squeeze the handle to let the excess water out. It will prolong the life of this hosepipe, plant to bring indoors over winter too for the same reason. Super easy & good fun if you’ve got a water mad dog !!
Had this hose for nearly two months now. Really useful, with a variety of spray settings, and it’s still quite amusing to see it expand when setting it up, and retract when you’ve finished with it. Sadly, I got a leak in mine, I think it might have been my fault as I got into a bad habit of dragging it around on a stone patio, but still, be careful as it’s not as robust as a normal hose. But I’ll buy another one to see if it lasts longer. Very useful, however.

I wish I had bought one of these hoses years ago! It is so lightweight, portable and easy to use. It expands to just the right length for my garden, then contracts back into a nice neat small pile. It is so much better than my old heavy hose which kept on kinking. This hose is literally life changing, I love it!!

Was easy to plug in and get working, and does the job perfectly. Looks quite smart so really can’t complain, especially for the price.
Compact, lightweight easy to use and store had to purchase this as a replacement as there was a leak in previous one, could possibly have been caused by our curious cat. Luckily not too expensive.

Easy to use and pack away, lightweight and takes up very little space compared with conventional hose pipes. Covering seems tough enough but only had it a month so can’t really comment on durability
I love this hose. Somehow it doesn’t get knotted or kink. Just remember to turn off the tap and empty the water out of the hose, before you disconnect it. I ended up with a mad snake spurting water up my hall as I chased it lol

Excellent value with all accessories included, tap adaptors and spray gun. Very lightweight and easy to store and use. All parts included so ready to use from box. Expands once water is turned on, hosepipe extends to over 50 feet when water turned on and then shrinks back when tap turned off. Ensure to empty water from hose before removing from tap otherwise you will get a blowback of water. So far so good appears well made and strong material used in its manufacture
Better instructions for the use of this hose. It would be good as I had quite a bit of trouble trying to fix it to my garden tap. I had call a competitor company to help me fix my tap .

When i opened the box and pulled out the light weight short hose i thought oh no, here another item that’s not as described. Oh how i was wrong!
This product is magic. Push it onto the tap, turn on the water and wait. Make sure the valve is set to off on the far end of the hose and it grows…. and grows! It did exactly as promised and is a great length for my needs, seems pretty durable and well made too.
I have always been against hose pipes unless really needed, but i wish i had brought one of these years ago.
When you’re finished, disconnect and the hose shrinks back down to a nice compact light size. Awesome. I cant wait to try out the spray fitting 😀
This is honestly my best buy over the past year! I know I sound dramatic talking about a hose but it’s amazing! I love gardening and have multiple flower beds and raised vegetable beds aswel as a ton of house plants, this makes watering everything sooo much easier than before and saves me so much time! There are multiple settings on the spray head, I find the shower one brilliant for watering my plants. The horizontal setting is great for washing windows and the full setting is great for washing down paths and walls etc. I love how little space it takes up and how easy it is to use! It’s very durable yet very light so it’s easy to move it around the garden. The shower setting it also brilliant for giving pets a wash. If you’re thinking about buying it, you definitely should!
Okay.. I bought this like years ago and only got around to using it in 2021 ha ha. This is quite an awesome hose. The different modes of spray are quite awesome, though I mostly use the Shower and Mist mode for my lawn. Giving it 5* stars, it’s anti-tangle, and quite light weight even when full with water. They’ve provided it with a lot of extra washers so we were able to use them to fix leaks when connected to our tap. I have given it 5* for durability but I haven’t used it for long enough to test that out. I will update the review if anything changes.

And it’s magic too! Expands to full length when full and gives good water pressure. Then it contracts automatically when drained after use to an extremely compact and light size (perfect for seniors like me!)

It is light and easy to use, concertinas back up well (I turn the tap off and keep the nozzle pressed down into a pot/watering can to empty it so it store easily). I have had a 50ft hose before but in between had a 25ft hose which was a bit short. There appeared to be a few differences with the hose I got and what was showing on the listing. I emailed my concern to the seller and was reassured that it was the correct hose. I have been using the Homoze expandable hose for over a month now and so far I have found it to be rather useful, due to it being used friendly, as well as durable.. I have been using this frequently for various tasks around 6 different gardens, as I am helping individuals during the pandemic (watering a freshly seeded grass , hanging Gardens, flower beds, cleaning decking and a conservatory)..I would most certainly recommend this hose..
This is light weight and easy to store. Expands with the pressure of the water and then contracts when tap is turned off and water is allowed to exit. Easier than unrolling and rolling up a long hose. Can be stored in the supplied bag. The supplied nozzle has a number of different spray settings. I have used this hose for a few months now and have had no leaks or other issues.
I love these hoses but don’t be tricked into buying the cheaper versions – they are rubbish!
I bought this to connect to my existing hose which was about 15 feet too short, this was the smallest I could find but with the right attachment it has extended my extendable hose so now I can even reach into my neighbours garden to water her plants as well. I am very pleased so far although with this awful weather I have only used this once.
We needed a hose that was quick and easy to use and one that reached 15m which this one does. Ordered on Tuesday and it arrived on Wednesday in perfect condition.
It’s great, when you want to use it; it is ready and neatly coiled up next to our outdoor tap. When you want to use it you simply just switch the tap on and then pull to where you want it to go.
We’ve previously had another big branded Hosepipe that is yellow in colour and it was awful. Despite being a similar construction; this one is much better than the branded one.
As it comes with the hose sprayer, you don’t have to buy any further items as everything comes in the box. The water pressure is excellent and is better than our standard hosepipe reel. Comes with its own bag to store it in over the winter.
WOW, what can I said. I’ve recently purchased this to replace a punctured one I bought from Ebay. The quality of this hose is far superior to my old one. The different settings on the nozzle are fantastic. The power of the water coming out is amazing. Couldnt wait to open it and get going and I was not disappointed in the slightest. Couldnt put it down. Everything that didnt move was watered, patio, fencing, grass and flowers. Very happy with the product, long may that happiness continue. Great hose and easy to use. I have a reasonable sized garden surrounding the house and the 50ft hose reached all round the garden from a central point behind the garage. It packs away easily when emptied into a small bag which I hang on the water tap. My only issue is that I stood on it while watering and it sprang several leaks and had to be replaced. Whilst the hose itself is brilliant not sure about its durability when full of water and under pressure. You do need to empty it after use but that’s quite easy as you just turn off the tap and open up the spray nozzle
Update 2 years on. Hose still in use and works fine. A drawback is no on-off water flow tap at appliance end of hose. There is one on the spray gun but if you want to connect instead a sprinkler when hose at full stretch then you will get wet! You can buy (I did) a separate push connector with on-off tap, but it would be better if this came with the hose. The on-off tap on the spray gun is not needed it as the spray trigger also acts as on-off tap.
So far I’ve used this only for a lawn sprinkler, and only for about 6 weeks. It comes with Hozelock compatible connectors for both ends or you can screw it on directly to a screw fitting on tap and the other end if you want. When you turn it on it takes a short while for the sprinkler to show full force, while the hose expands. Similarly when you turn the water off it takes a little while for the water to stop flowing at the sprinkler end as the hose contracts. It is very light – much more so than a permanent hose this length. Longevity needs to be established but at this price you could replace it after a year if needed. Unlike a ‘normal’ hose, you cannot repair leaks if you develop it; no leaks for me so far. Also, unlike a normal hose, you cannot replace the Hozelock type connectors. My experience with these is that they need replacing every few years as they develop some leaks or don’t stay connected very well. Main advantage of this hose is its light weight and low price.
This is my second magic hose and I would never go back to the old style hosepipes.
I made the mistake of turning the hose full on and so the hose didn’t extend properly and actually started to retract so I read the instructions and you have to turn the water pressure on slowly to start with this will allow the hose to extend to 50ft. Nice little storage bag and a great hose shower sprayer with lots of different settings.
It also includes different size tap fittings.
Only time will tell how long the hose will last but it looks and feels well made and I would recommend i
I have had one of these “magic hoses” before but made the mistake of leaving out over the winter and when I came to use it this spring it had developed a leak. And I mean a big leak. Not the sort that you can just put your thumb over I’m talking a slit so big that water barely made it to the end of the hose as it all squirted out of the hole. Well you live and you learn don’t you and as long as you don’t make the same mistake twice you just shrug your shoulders and go back to Amazon and but another one.
This one is different to the one that leaked. First of all it is blue (previously one was black). Not that the colour makes any difference, I’m just saying. The second is that this new one is even lighter than the old one. I’m talking seriously lightweight. Like a box of straw when it arrived. Now you may question whether a product with so little mass / density is able to do the job. I did anyway. The answer is a resounding YES. It seems that the hose has been re-engineered to make sure the wall linings are a thin but strong synthetic material which is probably made in a laboratory by very clever people in white coats and thick glasses modelled on the skin of a sea turtle or something (I don’t know that for sure and to be honest, I’m making this bit up). The second, and most striking aspect of this hoses’ lightness is the coupling device to the water faucet (tap to you and me) which, instead of being made of a shiny brass type material is actually made of a dullish grey plastic. Well fancy that. How does the hose mechanism fit properly on the water faucet (tap) using only a plasticised screw mechanism I hear you say. Well the answer is, it must be a magical type of special plastic because it actually fits quite snugly and there is no sign of spewage (that is a technical term) from the side of the faucet (tap).
I will continue to marvel at the wonders of this new hose. Like the old one it recoils in a comedic manner when you turn off the faucet (tap) and expands in an anaconda type wriggle when you turn on the faucet (tap).
I must remember to bring this one in over the winter though.
I bought this item In preparation for the summer and to wash my car. On arrival opened the hose up and it comes with differing sizes to go on the outside tap. Added the right fitting by hand screwing it on and off I went. The hose is suprinsgly powerful with the sprayer attached which is great for cleaning the car. There are numerous settings on the sprayer which can be used to water the garden, plants or clearing a dirty pathway. This product is great and for the cost I was really pleased with the quality.
I have been looking at these for a while now as I have been getting extremely fed up with having a tangled and inconvenient mess in my garden.
This is beyond a fantastic piece of equipment it almost triples in size thanks to the design construction. It barely tangles up and causes a mess and thanks to the provided hose sprayer you get an out of the box experience. All the fittings are provided to hook this up to a pressure washer, wall fitting or alternative equipment.

A handy hose, taking up little space. Good range of attachments, although due to the flexibility of the pipe, it seems quite narrow.

I love this hose. Somehow it doesn’t get knotted or kink. Just remember to turn off the tap and empty the water out of the hose, before you disconnect it. I ended up with a mad snake spurting water up my hall as I chased it lol

Excellent value with all accessories included, tap adaptors and spray gun. Very lightweight and easy to store and use. All parts included so ready to use from box. Expands once water is turned on, hosepipe extends to over 50 feet when water turned on and then shrinks back when tap turned off. Ensure to empty water from hose before removing from tap otherwise you will get a blowback of water. So far so good appears well made and strong material used in its manufacture
I am not a dumb blonde I just needed clear fixing instructions on how to use this hose .
This product is magic. Push it onto the tap, turn on the water and wait. Make sure the valve is set to off on the far end of the hose and it grows…. and grows! It did exactly as promised and is a great length for my needs, seems pretty durable and well made too.
I have always been against hose pipes unless really needed, but i wish i had brought one of these years ago.
When you’re finished, disconnect and the hose shrinks back down to a nice compact light size. Awesome. I cant wait to try out the spray fitting 😀
This is the first time I’ve owned a flexible hose so hard to compare it with other brands.
But what I can say is that this is an excellent product – comes complete with all the accessories you will need to get you connected quickly.
And it’s magic too! Expands to full length when full and gives good water pressure. Then it contracts automatically when drained after use to an extremely compact and light size (perfect for seniors like me!)
All in all, very happy with this product.
At last – a great hosepipe that actually does what they say it does. After years of buying different hoses, wasting money – I now have this one which really does work. It is light and easy to use, concertinas back up well (I turn the tap off and keep the nozzle pressed down into a pot/watering can to empty it so it store easily). I am going to buy another for the lower part of my garden – thrilled with this and I would definitely recommend this one.
I have had a 50ft hose before but in between had a 25ft hose which was a bit short. There appeared to be a few differences with the hose I got and what was showing on the listing. I emailed my concern to the seller and was reassured that it was the correct hose. I have used it thrice and I am sure it grows to more than 50ft, and because of this length it made it heavier to move about. Does the job that I bought it for very well thank you Judith
I have been using the Homoze expandable hose for over a month now and so far I have found it to be rather useful, due to it being used friendly, as well as durable.. I have been using this frequently for various tasks around 6 different gardens, as I am helping individuals during the pandemic (watering a freshly seeded grass , hanging Gardens, flower beds, cleaning decking and a conservatory)..I would most certainly recommend this hose..
This is light weight and easy to store. Expands with the pressure of the water and then contracts when tap is turned off and water is allowed to exit. Easier than unrolling and rolling up a long hose. Can be stored in the supplied bag. The supplied nozzle has a number of different spray settings. I have used this hose for a few months now and have had no leaks or other issues.
I love these hoses but don’t be tricked into buying the cheaper versions – they are rubbish!
I bought this to connect to my existing hose which was about 15 feet too short, this was the smallest I could find but with the right attachment it has extended my extendable hose so now I can even reach into my neighbours garden to water her plants as well. I am very pleased so far although with this awful weather I have only used this once.
It’s great, when you want to use it; it is ready and neatly coiled up next to our outdoor tap. When you want to use it you simply just switch the tap on and then pull to where you want it to go.
We’ve previously had another big branded Hosepipe that is yellow in colour and it was awful. Despite being a similar construction; this one is much better than the branded one.
As it comes with the hose sprayer, you don’t have to buy any further items as everything comes in the box. The water pressure is excellent and is better than our standard hosepipe reel. Comes with its own bag to store it in over the winter.
Amazing product would buy again.
Update 2 years on. Hose still in use and works fine. A drawback is no on-off water flow tap at appliance end of hose. There is one on the spray gun but if you want to connect instead a sprinkler when hose at full stretch then you will get wet! You can buy (I did) a separate push connector with on-off tap, but it would be better if this came with the hose. The on-off tap on the spray gun is not needed it as the spray trigger also acts as on-off tap.
So far I’ve used this only for a lawn sprinkler, and only for about 6 weeks. It comes with Hozelock compatible connectors for both ends or you can screw it on directly to a screw fitting on tap and the other end if you want. When you turn it on it takes a short while for the sprinkler to show full force, while the hose expands. Similarly when you turn the water off it takes a little while for the water to stop flowing at the sprinkler end as the hose contracts. It is very light – much more so than a permanent hose this length. Longevity needs to be established but at this price you could replace it after a year if needed. Unlike a ‘normal’ hose, you cannot repair leaks if you develop it; no leaks for me so far. Also, unlike a normal hose, you cannot replace the Hozelock type connectors. My experience with these is that they need replacing every few years as they develop some leaks or don’t stay connected very well. Main advantage of this hose is its light weight and low price.
I made the mistake of turning the hose full on and so the hose didn’t extend properly and actually started to retract so I read the instructions and you have to turn the water pressure on slowly to start with this will allow the hose to extend to 50ft. Nice little storage bag and a great hose shower sprayer with lots of different settings.

This one is different to the one that leaked. First of all it is blue (previously one was black). Not that the colour makes any difference, I’m just saying. The second is that this new one is even lighter than the old one. I’m talking seriously lightweight. Like a box of straw when it arrived. Now you may question whether a product with so little mass / density is able to do the job. I did anyway. The answer is a resounding YES. It seems that the hose has been re-engineered to make sure the wall linings are a thin but strong synthetic material which is probably made in a laboratory by very clever people in white coats and thick glasses modelled on the skin of a sea turtle or something (I don’t know that for sure and to be honest, I’m making this bit up). The second, and most striking aspect of this hoses’ lightness is the coupling device to the water faucet (tap to you and me) which, instead of being made of a shiny brass type material is actually made of a dullish grey plastic. Well fancy that. How does the hose mechanism fit properly on the water faucet (tap) using only a plasticised screw mechanism I hear you say. Well the answer is, it must be a magical type of special plastic because it actually fits quite snugly and there is no sign of spewage (that is a technical term) from the side of the faucet (tap).
I will continue to marvel at the wonders of this new hose. Like the old one it recoils in a comedic manner when you turn off the faucet (tap) and expands in an anaconda type wriggle when you turn on the faucet (tap).
I must remember to bring this one in over the winter though.
Great engineering, we can’t figure out how it works, it’s like magic. Extends and retracts automatically.
All the parts and materials feels really good quality and should stand up against the cat and two boys.
This is beyond a fantastic piece of equipment it almost triples in size thanks to the design construction. It barely tangles up and causes a mess and thanks to the provided hose sprayer you get an out of the box experience. All the fittings are provided to hook this up to a pressure washer, wall fitting or alternative equipment.
