Needed replacement fridge freezer in a hurry, and nowhere on the high street has anything in stock.
We got this, discounted, carefully delivered, 2 days after ordering.
All good, temperatures stable, as measured by remote thermometers.
Lost one star because there are only minimal operations possible without connecting fridge to home WiFi and using an app – no WiFi in our garage.
However, default settings or 6degC and -20 degC are fine for us.

Very nice fridge. Surprising big inside. Does not freeze things put at the back/bottom of the fridge part like many do. Glass shelves are much better than wire racks. You can see through them but small items don’t fall through. Totally frost-free. Runs very quietly.

Fridge freezer is good, only problem I had was to remove my old fridge freezer and packaging, I paid for this extra service then received email just before delivery to say this service was cancelled due to technical problems, my fridge freezer was delivered and I was left with my old one to get disposed myself, not a good service Amazon I was not happy.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis product was delivered on time and the delivery guys were great at gettting it into the kitchen area. The unit has great space within the fridge section which is just what we required. The freezer has ample space and the drawers are quite long so can fit a lot in them. Overall the unit is just what we were looking for and good value for money.

I’ve been using this for just under two months now and I’m very impressed. Absolutely no ice build-up in any of the compartments.

It’s very well-built and robust. I have no doubt it’s built to last a good long while. There’s plenty of room inside. The inner design makes good use of almost every inch of space, both in the main compartments and the door shelving. I really like how I can adjust the shelves to make the space more functional, especially the door shelves because I can fit tall bottles or milk containers without problems. The salad drawer is deep enough to store a good amount of fruits and vegetables too, and it’s easy to open and close unlike other fridges with narrow or shallow drawers.

The capacity of the freezer is also quite ideal in proportion to the refrigerator.

The quick chill function works well. I usually use it as soon as I’ve filled up the freezer from grocery shopping. Background noise level is almost non-existent.

As for energy efficiency, most A rated fridges under the old labelling system are now rated as F and E, so this is a relatively efficient fridge for the price. Higher ratings are on a much higher end of the price scale. For usual domestic purposes, this fridge is economical to run in the long term.

The design also looks beautifully modern and sleek. Great value for money. Would happily recommend.

This is a really nice 60/40 fridge/freezer unit from Hoover. The simple design makes this take up only as much space as it needs, without wasted space for excessive, but useless, features.
The freezer compartment has three tray units, while the fridge has 4 shelves and the very bottom is tray unit, making it five sections. Three of the shelves can be freely moved to adjust the height of each section according to needs. The fridge door has extra shelving space for smaller items, which is great as well.
A thing to note is that the 342 litres is the total capacity of the fridge and freezer together. The fridge itself is 223 litres in capacity and the freezer is 119 litres in capacity.
Supposedly no frost build up on the freezer, but this is yet to be confirmed by myself.
This retails for over 400 depending where you buy it, which is about right for a fridge/freezer unit of this size and a reputable brand, and comparable to similar brands, so price isn’t a big appeal. The energy consumption is also rated at F, so it’s quite power hungry by comparison and not the cheapest to run. Given the current energy prices, this might be quite an important factor.
Overall, not a bad fridge/freezer unit. I would definitely compare the upfront cost as well as the running cost before deciding on this.
