It’s an extremely cool concept and design, and is lots of fun.
The down side, there are several points that just have to line up perfectly in order for it to work. Spec the two gaps where the dinosaur moves up and down and a few liftable sections and unfort ours just doesn’t line up perfectly and it either slows the cars down too much or they don’t make the jumps, which is 75% of the time along with the mechanism that triggers the dinosaur, it’s 50/50 at best and is too fast to actually catch the cars
Overall it is fun, but can be a little frustrating
If its a present, make it up the night before. Its awesome. Thought it would just be more expensive tat that gets left in a corner but it’s actually really good quality, worth the money and has been played with everyday for months! It’s massive and my 3 year old is obsessed.

Der Aufbau ging dank der sehr ausfhrlichen und genauen Anleitung innerhalb etwa einer halben Stunde, wobei wir uns nicht gehetzt haben. Der Enkel konnte beim Aufbau mitmachen.

La desercin nos la llevamos cuando al probarla vinos que se podan hacer muy pocas cosas, bsicamente subir y bajar los coches por las pistas y aparcarlos. Por este precio esperbamos algo ms. An as a mi hijo le encant el regalo.

I bought this on a whim because we’ve had a lot of rain this summer and there’s been lots of days for the kids of had to come inside to play and after a little while even the iPads are boring and they want something new I ordered this hot wheels ultimate garage and he has played with it every day multiple times a day since we bought it he was so excited he could not wait for us to put it together the next morning. It was really easy for me to put together the instructions were easy to follow and within 15 minutes we had it up and running. It’s a lot of fun !!
My four year old loves this garage. It’s massive and keeps him entertained for hours!
It was for my 6 year old grandchild. If you follow assembly direction, no problem, adult supervision needed to assemble this unit. Kids won’t have the patience to finish this. Once assemble it is quite impressive and my grandchild just loves it. This is huge take lots of room to play with.

My son loves his hot wheels cars but this City Ultimate Garage, Chomping T-Rex is just to big to go any where in the house and has a hight retail price of 84.99.
I just can’t believe how big this, I did like the fact that you can park more then 100 cars so you could save some room by keeping your cars in this.
It’s got a moving lift which my son loves, the crashing dinosaur is another talking point plus the function button is fantastic when you don’t want to hear that dinosaur noise as it can get a little bit annoying after a while.
My son got annoyed as some of his favourite hot wheels cars wouldn’t go round the track, so be warn not all hot wheel cars, it does come with 2 cars and not much else would have been good if you got a few more as the retail price is quite high.
The quality is just as you would expect for any hot wheels product but it’s just to big for this house.

Diese Parkgarage hatte sich mein Enkelsohn zu seinem 5ten Geburtstag gewnscht, weswegen ich diese Parkgarage auch gekauft habe. Aufgebaut hatte diese Parkgarage mein Sohn, der Vater von meinem Enkelsohn, da ich hierfr keine Geduld habe. Die Parkgarage sieht wirklich gut aus und ist auch stabil, aber der Preis 98 ist fr so ein Spielzeug schon heftig. Also Qualitt, Robustheit kann ich soweit besttigen, aber ein ordentlicher Preis
Fhrt der T-Rex gemeinsam mit dem Aufzug nach oben, lsen die Autos ihn aus, wenn sie nach kurzer Strecke ber einen Kippschalter fahren. Es ist etwas dem Zufall berlassen, ob T ein Auto erwischt, so dass durchaus Chancen bestehen, dass die Autos trotz Dinosaurier-Attacke unten ankommen. Hat T schon zuviele Autos gefressen, ist er schneller als die Autos und erwischt keine mehr. Die Kinder finden es immer wieder zum lachen, wenn die Autos dann aus dem Popo rauskommen.
Die Garage wird von meinem vierjhrigen Sohn sehr ausgiebig bespielt, der sechsjhrige verliert schneller das Interesse. Auch meine einjhrige Tochter hat Freude daran, Autos auf die Rampe zu stellen und runterfahren zu lassen.
Die Garage ist sehr solide und verzeiht es auch, wenn sich die kleine Tochter daran hochzieht. Das einzige was etwas wackelig ist, ist die Popo-Klappe des Dinosauriers, die mit etwas Fingerspitzengefhl geschlossen werden mchte. Die Kinder schaffen es aber trotzdem alleine.
Insgesamt eine lohnende Anschaffung, die nicht so schnell ungenutzt in der Ecke steht. Auch ich spiele gerne damit.

Pista davvero grande e ben fatta!!!! Questo garage hot wheels piaciuto moltissimo a mio figlio che ci gioca sempre e si diverte moltissimo! Ingranaggi del dinosauro fatti molto bene,pista facile da montare e le macchinine riescono a fare il percorso bene. Avrei gradito ci fossero pi macchine all’interno del gioco perch per il prezzo che costa metterne solo due implica un’ulteriore acquisto per poter giocare .

Mein Sohn (3 1/2) hat sich sehr gefreut. Der Aufbau war in 20 min. Erledigt. Die Anleitung ist super sodass man nicht viel berlegen muss. Die Verbindungsteile sehen sehr stabil aus und die Bahnen sind auch berall eingeklemmt sodass es insgesamt einen stabilen Eindruck macht.
Das einzige was mich etwas nervt, also aus Erwachsenen Sicht, wenn der Dino unten angekommen ist, rattert es trotzdem noch etwas nach. Klar, sind 90 fr Plastik sehr viel aber die Bahn ist gro, stabil und breitet den Kindern viel Freude.

Mein Sohn ( 4 Jahre ) hat das Parkhaus zu Ostern bekommen. Habe noch nie erlebt, dass er auf ein Spielzeug so abgefahren ist. Sogar Fernsehen und Elektronik ist nix dagegen. Das Feature mit dem Dino ist klasse wenn auch auf dauer ein wenig nervig da die Mechanik nach dreht wenn der Dino unten angekommen ist. Fr Jungs die auf Dinos und Autos stehen ist das Teil der hit. Gut investiertes Geld und vor allem alles ohne Batterien. Kann ich nur empfehle

The dinosaur element is trivial as it only catches the cars sometimes BUT kids seem to keep going anyway to try and be caught!the garage feature is really nice if your kid has many cars. Sturdy build doesn’t break apart when moved or shake when used. Overall I’m very happy with the purchase

Fr Spielspa ist mit oder auch ohne Dino auf jedenfall gesorgt. Auch zur Robustheit kann man erwhnen das die Bahn einen Kindergeburtstag mit 5 Kindern ohne Blessuren berstanden hat. Ich gebe eine definitive Kaufempfehlung. Ist jetzt nicht das gnstigste Produkt. Aber der Preis ist, im Verhltnis zu anderen Spielzeugen auf dem Markt, auf jedenfall berechtigt.

Es wird tglich bespielt und hat eine gute Qualitt. Preis Leistung passt hier definitiv. Es ist nicht das erste welches wir von hotwheels haben und bis jetzt funktioniert alles einwandfrei. Wir hatten vorher eins von Majorette welches auch gut war aber leider schon nach ein paar Tagen den Geist aufgegeben hat. Daher fr dieses eine klare Kaufempfehlung
My son loves this I got him one for Christmas he loves anything to do with cars and dinosaurs he has autism so I think it’s so good and interactive play he plays with it for hours was a big hit worth the money he gets so excited seeing if the dinosaur will chomp the cars that race down was easy to put together it’s really big we move it around from bedroom to downstairs and it’s sturdy not flimsy at all

Mi hijo de 4 aos am esta pista desde que la vio en la caja y una ves armada pasa horas enteras de entretenimiento jugando con sus carritos.
Esta pista soporta 100 vehculos de la marca hotwheels por lo que les recomiendo adquirir ms autos para incrementar la diversin. No es compatible con otras marcas de vehculos por lo recomiendo que tomen sus precauciones.

Das Parkhaus ist bei unserem Sohn super angekommen. Der Aufbau ist mit einem Erwachsenen schnell erledigt. Minuspunkte gibts allerdings fr den Dino. Wir haben es bisher erst einmal geschafft, das er ein Auto schnappt. Das knnte, wie ich finde, deutlich fter passieren.

Credo che l’idea sia ottima , trattandosi di un garage che pu contenere fino a 200 automobiline e ha un gioco incorporato , il Tirex , che con un meccanismo molto semplice , scende e “divora” le automobiline che scendono nella pista incorporata , per gravit.
I miei bimbi ci hanno passato una settimana di seguito e continuano a giocarci assiduamente.
Unico appunto : potevano inserire qualche macchinina in piu’ all’interno della confezione.

I got this for my son as a Christmas present who is 5 years old soon and I really wanted to get a hot wheels toy for him as he has got more than 50 hot wheel cars now and really loves playing with them.
When this was delivered, I was really blown away by the size of this. It looked really huge and perfect for him. It came with all the instructions on the back and it looked very attractive in the packaging. On Christmas morning, this was the 1st toy that he wanted to open so we let him. It was a bit of a struggle to get out the toy from the box as it is properly fixed to the box which makes it a fight to get it out.
When we got everything out, my son wanted to assemble it straight away and we were both a bit confused on how to assemble this. It took us around half an hour to fully build this and once fully assembled, the size of this thing was huge. It was almost as tall as my son. The T-Rex part of it looks really intimidating and we were a bit puzzled on its purpose. My son kept on saying that it will eat up the cars but I was not sure how so when we started playing with it, I was really blown away by the whole mechanism and how smoothly it works.
After spending so much time building it, we just wanted to use the track. We spent a bit of time putting all of the cars he has in the storage provided. I was surprised to see that it didn’t need any batteries and is operated by a crank handle which I think is much more fun. I don’t know how they did it but 9 out of 10 times we used our cars on this, it ended up in the dinosaur’s tummy or his mouth. The timing is well thought out and works almost every time. You have to try different tricks to escape the dinosaur.
Overall, I really think this is a great gift for a kid who loves playing with cars. It is a bit expensive at around 80 and only comes with 2 cars. At this price, I think it might not be such a good value but I have seen it on sale for a much lower price as well so it might help to be a bit patient if you really want this for your kids. 5 Stars from me

Excellent for the money. Its big size. Up to the shoulders of my 5 Yr old who loves it. Plenty of platforms to store cars on to keep them all in one place. He’s not stopped playing with it. Delivered in excellent condition and in quick time. (not sure why the review has asked me to score its warmth though)

My 7 yo loves this, as do all the adults who’ve played with it! It’s a bit more fun than a simple ‘car goes down a ramp’ type toy. It’s pretty big but more tall than wide so doesn’t take up an excessive amount of room. Building wasn’t that easy though, it took us over an hour but was totally worth it in the end. The dinosaur can be turned off and extra ramps added if you want to extend so it potentially has a long life. I got it on a lightening deal for 50 but I do think it’s worth the full price.

The first thing that you will notice about this hot wheels set is that it arrives in a massive box!! Then you will ask yourself where am I going to assemble this massive set! After redecorating the playroom and opening up space for this set it takes a bit of time and effort to assemble this massive exciting hot wheels set! Instructions are straightforward but it takes a bit of time and attention to connect all parts correctly. This hot wheels set stand about 1 meter tall. I read somewhere that it is the tallest hot wheels set in the market!
Just the size of this thing will make you and your kids excited! There are 2 plastic (rather low quality) small cars included! But as advertised you can park about 100 cars in the parking area of this set.
The massive aggressive t-rex is the centerpiece of this hot wheels set which fuels most of the fun and excitement. As the cars race down the tracks they have to jump over some gaps in the tracks and scape the jaws of the t-rex or succumb to their horrendous grisly fate in between the teeth of the t-rex and be eaten by it! This whole story makes kids and yourself go nuts! My daughter loves dinosaurs and the whole story of daddy’s car getting eaten by the t-rex cracks her up!!!!
If you have other hit wheels sets you can connect them to this set!
All in all, this set provides a lot of laughter and excitement in the house. It’s expensive but it’s a nice set if you have the space!

This is a massive set. Standing over 90 cm tall, it does require quite a bit of assembly and stickering so if you get this for young kids you may need to calm them and explain they won’t be racing down the ramps immediately.
The set also comes with two cars so you can get started if this is your first set!
Once constructed, the cars can race down from the top of the garage as a robo-dinosaur tries to eat them on the way down. As the cars jump the gaps in the track, the T-Rex tries to grab or knock them. If the dinosaur successfully gets one, then at the bottom it is promptly dumped out of the dinosaur’s… err… bottom (open a flap), and out the back of the parking garage.
This dinosaur “pooping” offers great hilarity in our household especially when Dad’s car gets caught! I honestly feel bullied in my own house!
You can disengage the dinosaur function if you just want to play with the garage lift and the multi-story is a cool way of displaying your car collection, all parked up.
My kids really enjoy playing with the garage and there is also a car wash, petrol pumps, barriers etc so you can have good fun imaginative play with it as well as connecting extra track to the connection points if you have it.
Personally I like that the lift has spaces for two cars. It’s a small thing, but means that siblings can rise to the top of the garage together without any bickering about who’s car is going in the lift first.
Though expensive, you do get a sense of value through the sheer size of this thing… and just like the T-Rex dominating the Cretaceous period, this set dominates the lounge.

I ordered this hot wheels garage set for my nephew because he really likes hot wheels. It took around 20 minutes to build in total and he has had hours of fun with it. Its made out of good quality material and its very sturdy. The colours are nice and vibrant and the instructions for building were really easy to follow and understand. Its rather large in size, so you might need space to store it. It comes with 2 plastic cars, so if you want more than 2, your will have to buy more yourself. It is flat-packed, so be prepared to build it but it is a really nice set and perfect for those hot wheels lovers.
This really is an awesome, huge Hot Wheels set and any fan will love this monster of an addition to it.
This arrives flat packed in the box, it took me a while to follow instructions and get it assembled but it was fairly straight forward, I just wanted to make sure I got it done correctly! There’s stickers to add the final touches to it which I let my son do as he loves anything to do with stickers and then we were almost ready to go. The set also includes 2 cars but these are fairly cheap and lightweight cars and not the quality you’d expect from Hot Wheels. For the price I would expect regular cars to be included to add to the garage collection.
This takes up a fair amount of floor space and stands around 1m tall! It’s certainly very impressive and my children were instantly excited as it involved a snappy T-Rex which is operated by cranking the lift up by hand, releasing the cars and then he races down chomping trying to catch the cars! It’s great fun and sometimes he catches them, sometimes he doesn’t but it’s almost like a game and my children race against each other and have invented a point system to compete who can have the least cars eaten so they’re getting a lot of fun out of it.
The massive garage holds around 100 cars, there’s still plenty of room for more for us and the set can connect to existing Hot Wheels sets and tracks.
Great, exciting set and good to have a storage place for many cars, the only improvement would be to include the proper metal cars with it and not the plastic ones for the price. Lots of fun though and my children love it!
This hot wheels set was fun to build. It took me around 40 minutes because I have limited space in my son’s room and mainly the stickers took long.
The size is around 3 feet after fully built, and the quality of the plastic is durable and reasonably good quality, but the quality of the cars is not that great.
My son loves playing X box, and I wanted to divert him to play with the actual toys, but after ten mints, he got bored with this set and went back to the X box.
I think, if any kids once start playing online games, I don’t think they will enjoy playing any toys.
Overall, It was fun to put together with my son but not an exciting toy to play, in my opinion.

The garage arrived in perfect condition safely packaged inside an outer box. The well-illustrated box features an easy to open flap which reveals all the contents and allows you to remove them easily and safely.
Putting it together took me around 30 minutes, its straightforward to build and I took my time to apply the stickers correctly. When fully built its sturdy and stands nearly one metre tall, in general the plastics all seem durable and good quality.
The garage does include two cars, but they are plastic and lower quality than the ones you can buy separate. I feel Hot Wheels could have included a few more cars than just two, especially given the price of this set.
To initiate the T-Rex you put one or two cars in the lift and wind them up using the handle. When the cars reach the top, the lift will lift up and start the cars on the journey down. The T-Rex makes its way down the garage and tries to eat the cars before they reach the bottom. Sometimes the T-rex manages to eat both cars, other times it knocks them off the track. Even when the T-Rex misses the cars they sometimes miss the jump and fall of by themselves.
The cars can be released via the rear of the T-Rex in quite a comical way and if you don’t want to use the T-Rex you can turn it off.
The ground floor of the garage features a car wash, refuelling station and car inspection area. The lift can carry cars up to the different levels to park them (can hold around 100 cars) and the garage can be fully expanded to allow additional Hot Wheel sets to be connected to the garage, really making it the “Ultimate Garage”.
Overall, even though its quite a pricey set I feel kids will love it and it will provide hours of entertainment for them. It seems pretty good quality and it was easy to put together. I’m more than happy to recommend this set and I think its another great addition to the Hot Wheels collection!
It is a Christmas present for my grandchild, 7 yrs old.

Very easy to use, the wind up cog is not hard to do and my 3 year old does it
With ease. Simply push the car down from the launch pad and that makes the dragon go.

Can’t fault it, robust and secured. None of the parts fall off and it’s seems ver solid.
Overall I think this is amazing and would make a fantastic gift for a car lover !
As Christmas are near, this toy can be a perfect present for kids. However, the one thing I did not like is it comes with just 2 cars. Considering the price for the whole of this toy, it should include more of them. As it automatically forces you to buy more cars. So if you buy this toy, at the same time buy extra cars, as with just 2 cars the kids cant get the full potential of this toy.
The first thing which surprised me was the size of this toy. As it is really colossal in size and has a lot of different parts. So be ready to spend a bit of time while assembling it, but it could be fun especially on Christmas morning. When assembled it looks really impressive and colourful and kids get interested straight away. The main peace of attraction ar the t-rex as it looks really impressive and is part of all the games. What I mean is, kids will manually lift the lift to a certain point the car will drive through the tracks down and either will be caught by Trex or not, and it gives quite a lot of fun especially with more cars and kids.
Overall, it can give a lot of fun for the kids, and it is a perfect present which will keep them busy and entertained.
Christmas present so haven’t opened yet, but arrived ahead of time and great value.
This is super fun! Even my husband and I enjoyed playing with this toy! Took my husband about 10-15 minutes to put together!
It is a massive and great set. It stands 3 feet tall and stores 100 cars It also comes with 2 cars. My son is very very into cars! He is absolutely loving playing with this as well as his sister.
We do not plan on buying track to attach to it and this is our first hot wheel track set but we will see. Overall this is the best choice to start with.

There are a few niggles with the set:
The lift requires the manual loading of cars even though it has a ramp, so you’d expect it to self load the cars.
As with some other Hot Wheels sets, you can find some Hot Wheels cars don’t actually fit.
The set only includes two cars and are budget vehicles, which is a shame given the price of the set.
Overall the sheer size of the box and garage will result in a WOW from any child when they first see it.

This is a huge toy. My son absolutley loved it, comes mostly assembled and he was playing with it within 10 minutes. He had hotwheel advent calendar so he now has something to play his car on. The cars fly off the tracks and its great fun to see thewm fly into the mouth of the T-Rex. Rather tahn aboring car garage toy, this has it all including a multi level lifts and a dual track to race cars on. It is big enough to store you car collection out of the way too.
The hot wheels brand have rrally done a fantastic job of creating something unique, large and fun. I had to open this to review it but this would make a fab Christmas toy. It’s sturdy, robust and because it’s large if you have more than one cbiuld they can all play with it at once, no arguing over it because it’s big enough.
Wow this hot wheels set once built is 90cm high! It is a big track so you will need space to use it. As with most big boxes, this came just as it is (no outer box) so be careful if buying for a present. Unfortunately because of this the box was pretty damaged but we won’t be keeping it anyway.
This is suitable for 5-8 years and will need some adult help when building it. It has a great big chomping dinosaur in the middle which my son absolutely loves! This was his most wished for toy. It comes with 2x hot wheels cars and you can also hook it up to hotwheels id (need to download app on phone/iPad) and play an electronic game with it. It has lots of different features and it is probably the best hot wheels track set we have had the pleasure of playing with.
If you (by which I obviously mean the kids…) like hot wheels then this is a great addition to the collection. For once, you seem to get something of decent size, build and fun factor for the price. Not impressed with the enclosed cars though, seem to have gone down in quality since we last bought some (we have tubs full of them, no need to buy any more!), unless that’s just the offering that comes with this and is no reflection on the cars you can buy individually. This will by no means house the quantity we have, but will go some way to doing so. Putting the stickers on is a bit of a drag, but just get the kids to help (as long as they don’t rip most of them, sigh!). That seemed to take longer than building the garage itself. About a 20 min build, give or take, and depending on if you’re enlisting the help of (un)helpful kids! Muscle powered – no batteries needed. Disappointingly not all the cars can work on the track. If you’ve got other hot wheels sets/track, you can attach them and it extends the fun immensely. Lots of imaginative play to be had. It is large, but it can sit in the corner of a room without taking up too much space.
This toy is a bit of a monster, forgive the pun. It dominates my son’s bedroom and a lot of tidying was required just to find enough space for it, and it took quite a long time to assemble, so there’s a bit of a delay between revealing the box and being ready to roll.
Previously I’ve criticised some other smaller Hot Wheels sets for being not worth the wait- for taking longer to build than they would keep my kids’ attention for once built. That’s not as true for this set as it has been for others, but it is still a bit of a one-trick pony in some respects, a downward spiral with jumps and the adjustable clamping jaws of the dinosaur which really appeals to my boy’s urge to go “rarrrrgh” and get it to bite things (for better or worse!).
At time of writing, there is a bit of a mix-up on the product listing on this item. Hot Wheels do several different sets called “Ultimate Garage” (surely they can’t all the ultimate one?) and some of the product description, and the product assembly video, are actually for a different toy, featuring a shark and a large extra ramp (“CMP80”). This is quite confusing and could lead to disappointment, so if Santa has been asked for the “Ultimate Garage” for Christmas, it’s definitely worth double-checking to make sure you’re getting the right one. I’d have to say that the set in the assembly video looks more diverse, with more different action points and play variety, than this chomping T-rex set.
I doubt anyone would get this as their very first Hot Wheels set, I expect most kids would get started with a smaller set to see if they like it. And on that basis the construction quality won’t come as any surprise to anyone who’s already got a Hot Wheels set. The bendy plastic track, the firm stiff clicking of the structure pieces, it’s all very standard and familiar.
What’s also familiar is that standard Hot Wheels unreliability factor, where at any given moment there’s just a slim chance that the car is going to jump off the track and crash into your furniture. As a grown-up I still find it a bit frustratingly unreliable, but for my son the accidents are clearly the most fun bit, and he doesn’t laugh any louder than when it flies off the track unexpectedly, whether dinosaur-propelled or not.
This is a classic Christmas present style Hot Wheels set, perfect for hotrod kids with a love of fast cars and crashing. There’s no logic behind why a dinosaur would be moving up and down a vertical racetrack, obviously, except for the fact that stereotypically, little boys love both those things, so why not stick them together? Based on my son’s reaction, it certainly works and Christmas has come early as far as he’s concerned. I’m not giving the full 5 stars as I think it’s a little overpriced for what’s included, and it’s not the most “ultimate” of ultimate garages, but it’s a solid 4 stars and a decent way to a laugh-filled, car-crash-laden Christmas.

Doch bis vor kurzem war mir der Preis einfach viel zu hoch fr etwas, von dem ich auch sonst noch nicht viel gesehen hatte. Als dann jetzt endlich die 100 Euro Grenze erreicht war, konnte ich nicht mehr widerstehen und wollte den Versuch wagen. Und schon mal vorweg: Ich bin sooooo froh, dass ich es getan habe.
Das Ding kommt in einem massiven Karton und alle Teile sind darin in wirklich perfekter Tetris-Form angeordnet. SO wrde ich das da nie wieder rein kriegen. Heit also: Wenn das Ding einmal steht, kann der Karton weg.
Kurzgefasst die Eckdaten (fr alle die keinen Bock auf langes Blabla haben):
+ Aufbau geht super schnell, Sticker kleben dauert deutlich lnger als der Aufbau selbst
+ Absolut stabil und lsst sich mit Griff problemlos tragen
+ Funktioniert durch Handkurbel und OHNE Batterien
+ Fahrstuhl kann mit und ohne T-Rex bewegt werden
+ T-Rex pupst Autos aus (soooo cool)
+ 4-6 Autos (2 im Fahrstuhl, 2-4 aus Fahrtbuchten) knnen automatisch am Rennen teilnehmen allein dadurch, dass der Fahrstuhl nach oben fhrt
+ Viele Stellpltze fr jede Autogre vorhanden
– Nicht alle Hot Wheels passen durch die Bahn (enge gelbe Klappstellen)
– T-Rex Mechanik ziiiiemlich laut
Fazit: Einfach Klasse!
Aufkleber und Aufbau:
Bevor der Aufbauspa beginnen kann mssen erstmal noch ein paar Aufkleber angebracht werden. Dem T-Rex fehlen die Augen, hier und da ein paar Fahrbahnmarkierungen und auch einige “Anbauten” bekommen damit einen neuen Look. Bei den Aufklebern gilt: Vorsicht. Die knnen schnell mal reien und so hat es mir direkt eine Ecke vom Hot-Wheels-Straen-Sticker abgerissen. Aber immerhin kleben sie gut.
Dann gehts an den Aufbau und der ist dank der beliegenden und sehr anstndig bebilderten Anleitung wirklich schnell geschafft. Das Aufkleben der insgesamt 20 Sticker hat da deutlich lnger gedauert als der komplette Aufbau. Sttzen rein, Fahrstuhl und T-Rex ran, Kurbel damits auch schn leicht nach oben und unten geht und dann nur noch Stck fr Stck nach oben im Kreisverkehr.
Features und Wissenswertes:
# Dieses Modell braucht KEINE Batterien. Der Fahrstuhl und auch der T-Rex werden nur mit der kleinen Handkurbel betrieben. Der T-Rex geht dabei automatisch nach oben, sobald der Fahrstuhl hochgekurbel wird.
# Der T-Rex startet seinen Abgang, sobald ein Auto entweder vom obersten Deck oder aus dem Fahrstuhl (ganz oben angekommen) heraus ber eine bestimmte Stelle in der Strecke fhrt.
# Hochkurbeln ist von der Lautstrke noch okay. Allerdings entwickelt die Mechanik, wenn der T-Rex nach unten saust schon einen ganz schnen Lrm ABER…
# Der Fahrstuhl kann auch OHNE T-Rex genutzt werden. Dadurch minimiert sich der Lrm auf “fast nicht hrbar”. Dabei gibt es nur eins zu beachten. Der Modus zwischen “T-Rex kommt mit” und “T-Rex bleibt unten” kann nur dann gewechselt werden, wenn der Fahrstuhl gerade NICHT neben dem T-Rex ist. Ansonsten verhakt die Mechanik und nichts geht mehr. Also, immer dran denken: Fahrstuhl oben = Schalter umlegen, Fahrstuhl unten = lass die Pftchen vom Schalter!
# Ganz oben fahren die Autos allein aus dem Fahrstuhl heraus. Aber ich kann auch einen Halt bei den Zwischendecks einlegen und die Autos einfach per Hand nach vorn “herauskippen”, sodass sie auf das jeweilige Parkdeck fahren. Auerdem knnen an die Zwischendecks noch weitere Straenstcke angebaut werden (falls vorhanden).
# Wird ein Auto vom T-Rex geschluckt, kann hinten eine Klappe geffnet werden und das Auto rutscht wieder heraus. Er pupst die Autos sozusagen wieder aus (ein Hit fr jedes Kind). Allerdings ist die Klappe im Vergleich zum Rest irgendwie nicht so anstndig verarbeitet und lsst sich teils ein wenig schwer ffnen/schlieen.
# Es gibt einige kleine Buchten in die bis zu zwei weitere Autos positioniert werden knnen, die dann erst losfahren, wenn ein anderes Auto beim herruntersausen einen Schalter bettigt.
# Nicht alle Hot Wheels passen in die Bahn. Manche sind einfach deutlich zu breit fr die engeren gelben Kurvenelemente und bleiben dann einfach stecken. Sind diese Elemente hochgeklappt, fahren sie aber immerhin ohne Probleme auf den jeweiligen Parkplatz.
# Dafr passen wirklich alle Autos egal welcher Gre und Form in irgendeinen Parkplatz dieses Parkhauses. Neben den Parkdecks gibt es auch noch grere und kleinere Stellpltze in den blauen Sulen.
# Das Ding ist wirklich gro, aber insgesamt so stabil zusammengesetzt, dass ich einfach das groe “Hotwheels”-Logo oben als Handgriff nutzen kann um es zu tragen.
# Im Bodenbereich gibt es die fr Hot Wheels-Parkhuser blichen kleinen Dinge wie Autowaschanlage und Co. Auerdem sausen die Autos, wenn sie von oben herunter fahren noch ein gutes Stck auf den eingearbeiteten Straen der Bodenflche herum.
Fazit:
Ganz klar: Beste Entscheidung! Bei dem Parkhaus werde ich wieder selbst zum Kind. Es macht wirklich unheimlich Spa damit zu spielen und dadurch, dass der Fahrstuhl auch ohne T-Rex genutzt werden kann, hlt sich der Lrm deutlich in Grenzen (mit T-Rex allerdings schon wirklich laut! Aber eben auch verdammt cool).
