Q:Why is my shipping label not completely printed? Too small or only part of it?

  • Change your label size to 4″x 6″ on the website that generates your labels. Most platforms, including eBay, Shopify, and others, support both sizes but are set to 8.5″x 11″ size by default.
  • If you are printing an A4 page, crop the page by using Adobe Reader in the thumb drive. Perform a print preview before printing and adjust the zoom ratio.

labelling machine

Q:Why I am printing blank or incomplete labels?

  • The most common reason is that your labels are loaded upside down. Please ensure your labels are properly loaded. The thermal sticky side that you peel off should be facing up.
  • Make sure that your labels are “Direct Thermal” labels.

Out of the box with the supplied labels installed is straightforward.

I elected for a bluetooth enabled printer so that the printer can sit in the packaging room, which is away from the order processing PC. Installing the drivers from the supplied USB dongle onto the Windows PC was straightforward and it found the new printer no problem on the network. It is simply a case of selecting the model number from the available list and the printer was then ready to go.

I printed a batch of 6X4 shipping labels and there they were when I went to the packing room, printed and ready to apply. The process is much quicker than the previous method of A4 print, cut and seal into a clear wallet. I have purchased good quality labels to use after the supplied reel is consumed and at 3p/label it should be 0,7p/label cheaper than the former laser print and clear wallet label option.

Royal Mail offer free labels to their business customers but at time of writing they are out of stock so I have bought some rolls to use and as backup to the RM rolls. The RM rolls may not be available in the 350 max that this printer can cope with which is something I’ll come to find out in due course. If the RM free label offer comes good then it’ll be a much cheaper option than the old laser print labels potentially saving me on 3,500 units a year shipped almost 1,000 in ink, paper and plastic wallet cost. That is the hope anyway.

The printer is amazing and really good value for money. I buy and sell a lot on EBay and it has made the whole label printing process so easy. I also bought a stand for the labels as it makes it so much easier to load the machine and especially if you are printing a large quantity of labels. I have not had any problem with this printer whatsoever and would highly recommend it. The labels are clear and the print is exceptional quality. I bought the printer a while back as I don’t like to leave reviews until I am very happy with the product and completely satisfied it lives up to the reviews and this printer certainly does. So a definite 5 stars from me

The device is really good and works nice. The only issue i find is the software. Its not user friendly. Complicated and less options to create the label.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have a Dymo 450 and this is my first 4x6in printer.
Installation is super easy and fast. Drivers and software come on two high quality memory sticks.
The editing software looks pretty good to me, although I created specific Actions in Photoshop for my label printing needs.
Friendly price and very fast printing.
I’m using accordion type labels, because it was something I had in stock, but I’ll start buying roll labels and it will be even more compact.
Although this printer is not intended for printing images, I tried to print something, logically using the halftone technique, otherwise you will never have this result.
The print is very interesting and it is only noticeable that the print head increase temperature along the first centimetre of the print. But this is not noticeable when printing labels, the true purpose of this printer.
    Very happy.

Installation and instruction usb easy to understand and use, works as it should, only used a few times so far on single label , good that it takes different sizes of label rather than just the standard size.
Only time will tell as to how long it would last, would recommend giving it a go especially with the well known brands being very expensive. used with apple mac pro .

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersNeat little printer. My only gripe is that when you turn it on, it spits out a few labels to calibrate, and then pulls them back in to avoid waste (great!). But then those labels when they’re printed are all crumpled up for some reason and end up being scrapped anyway!

    Other than that, it’s great!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis is a brilliant printer. Very easy to set up and use. The drivers come on a usb stick which is handy if you don’t have a cd drive. So far I have been very impressed. The print quality is excellent and the holder looks big enough to contain a full roll of 500 labels. The printer comes with a roll of 100 free labels so you can start using it straight away. I bought this to use as a postage printer for my ebay sales. It prints the labels nice and clearly and the barcodes were easy to scan. It took me about 15 minutes to set this up. the instruction booklet is clear and concise written in good English plus there is a helpline and videos if you get stuck. The instructions are easy to follow though so you probably won’t need much help. Would definitely recommend this.

Very good so far. Plugged in and setup the labels and it works straight away. We don’t run too many labels but it has been faultless so far. Very fast print speed and the auto calibration is great. So simple to use. Would definitely buy more.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI originally had issues and lots of errors, formatted PC then it worked first time no issues. It seems bad windows updates can cause issues with the drivers. If you get errors after installing printer+drivers then you can do as i did or systematically uninstall windows updates until yuo find the culprit. Will be keeping a close eye on what updates get installed and when/if it breaks the printer.

Otherwise very good! Sending 5-15 packages a day this is not only alot faster but very fun! More fun than writing them by hand. Worked out each label is costing around 2-3pence each (if bought in rolls of 500) or 1-2pence each (if bought in rolls of 1000). Also great for printing out black and white pictures for kids to cut out and color in.

I’ve had two previous 6×4 label printers for Click & Drop. One OK, a Zebra (as recommended by Royal Mail), but expensive. The label could easily stick on the roller and stall the motor, which eventually burnt out. The second much cheaper. The print faded across the label and with an external feed, it was almost impossible to keep the image central to the label. This too failed. Now the Hot Label. Brilliant. Easy to step up. Sharp, precise, uniform image, spot on centrally. Even the smallest print is legible. Just hope it can keep up with my 10-20 labels per day.

Does what it says on the tin, straight forward, put the spool through the included 4×6 label roll, plonk it in, feed the paper outside, turn it on, it automatically adjusts to find the start/end of the first label. The drivers make it appear as a normal printer in windows, send it any label at 4×6 with fill paper size and it prints great, it has literally halved my packing time, no more sticking postage labels to boxes.
Only criticism is the thermal array seems to not be able to cope with solid blocks or bold text, it’s a bit patchy, but does the job.

I did a lot of research about label printers, especially which ones used generic labels to save money instead of branded only ones, as ongoing costs was my main concern. I’m pleased to say this printer is superb, takes rolls and I can print a label for between 1-2p each. I use mine for shipping labels for Etsy and Royal Mail, and this is perfect 4×6 prints. It’s insanely fast printing, and the set up was easy (on Mac) , clear instructions and was working within 10 mins. So pleased I bought this, it’ll save so much time packing up orders for my business.

Bought to use with etsy, ebay, paypal, royal mail and amazon 4×6 labels. Tested with all of these and works perfectly. Simple set up. Chose this one because I can install a roll of labels to save desk space. Simple, standard .exe install. Would recommend

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI have an Etsy shop and bought this so that I could print out shopping labels. Its easy to set up and I liked the fact that the label roll sits I side the machine, making it compact on my desk. It works seamlessly with Etsy and Ebay and the print quality is good. I wish I’d bought one sooner. It came with a small roll of labels but I bought a roll of 500 from Amazon at a good price and they work perfectly with the printer.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI purchased this to replace a different model printer I got from Amazon which stopped working after only a few months. I always loved my old one and thought it printed nicely. This one however is significantly better print quality despite being about 50 cheaper.

I also much prefer how this one stores the labels in rolls, the stacks I find never feed in properly and tends to give problems. Plus they take up alot more desk space.

It seems well made and the driver is pretty good. It also includes software on the USB to design and make your own labels which should be useful.

In summary I was skeptical when the price is certainly at the bottom end of what you can pay but I’m totally convinced now that this was a good buy.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersMy oh my why did I not buy this sooner?? As someone who sells many items on a popular online auction site and on various social media platforms, I post a LOT of stuff. I usually just print my labels on an A4 paper and cut them out. The whole process is tedious, wasteful and annoying. It just slows me down so much. I always wondered how Amazon prints its heated labels, so I went looking for a “hot label printer” and found this! WOW! This now saves me so much time – it even comes with everything you need to get started! It is so convenient and even adds a whole new layer of being “professional” to my posted items. I absolutely love this so far!

No complaints at all, I am very happy!!
