I can make four batches of cake batter and four batches of buttercream in this mixe
It’s not the best but it gets the job done. It is worth the price..
I use it to make my dough.
Bought when on offer and I couldn’t resist trying it. Great mixer that has been used several times. Easy to clean and quieter than my hand mixer. Highly recommended.
I want to buy a real top quality product for the purpose of baking, and various kitchen operations,as my daughter is doing profeesional backing course in college but I saw this product and decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I did because I am not disappointed. This has proved to be one of good addition in my kitchen with 8 litre big bowl . My daughter is quite happy as well
I’ve wanted a new mixer for a while now and I saw this was on promotion so i thought I’d give it a try and honestly I am not disappointed!
It’s actually so pretty… and works really well! And compared to my old one its so quiet… the kids love i
This was a gift for my sister who likes to bake cookies. Here is what she said
Well I just made a batch of cookies using my new mixer. My observations are: 1. Makes mixing a whole lot more fun! 2. I used the beater attachment (paddle) but it didn’t seem to really mix up the bottom or sides. Almost like it’s a touch too small for the bowl? But, they do provide a spatula for scraping the bowl 3. The ” pot cover” seemed cool at first but it really has no purpose other than it makes adding ingredients harder and messy. I think I will just leave it off next time. The bowl is so deep that nothing’s getting out of there! Otherwise, it seems quite powerful and surprisingly quiet. And it looks great in my kitchen!! Thanks again. Oh, and Ron loved the chocolate chip pecan cookies
She also mentioned that the suction cups make it very stable.
I wish the manufacturer would provide an update to the paddle, I would buy i
I was reading a lot of reviews and decided to go ahead and buy it. I am so so glad I did. I just started making things that needed a mixer and did not want to buy a very expensive one like KA. This one is so silent, not loud at all and I love that. It is just the right size as well. The suction cups on the bottom is great! I would recommend this to anyone. Thanks
Love it has great power and has nice suction cups underneath to keep it stable while its operating so it doesn’t wobble
This mixer had more watts than the K A name brand one and it had a bigger bowl with a cheaper price tag.
Mixed well but is hard to get utensils attached without scratching bowl
A great mixer which looks aesthetically pleasing on my kitchen worktop.
It has a stainless steel look and is easy to clean.
It’s great for making cake mixes which is what I primarily use mine for.
It’s not overly loud but is the volume you’d expect from a mixer.
It’s easy to clean. And easy to use. It has an 8L bowl which seems ample for my needs
I would recommend this mixer so far.
I have always wanted a nice food mixer, so when I had the opportunity to test this mixer made by Howork, I was thrilled to do so. It arrived very well packaged. It is a stainless steel model, which looks very stylish and modern and looks good in my kitchen. This is a multifunctional electric mixer, which comes with a 8 litre bowl, and has a dough hook, whisk and beater attachments.
It has 6 speeds and can be changed via a dial and a 1500w motor. The mixer has suckers on the bottom to hold it in place and they are very firm. It works well and so far we have made a cake and some bread in it. It seems well made and the attachments are a good standard. Currently priced at 169.99 I think that this may seem to be on the expensive side, but compared to other more well known brands, this is reasonable. So far it has worked well, looks good and I am pleased with it. The only downside is that I think it is overpriced.
Overall, we liked this HOWORK Stand Mixer with it’s 8 litre capacity bowl. The motor is 6 speed, 1500w and made of copper according to the product page. The construction of the body is plastic and the bowl is stainless steel. The bottom has quite powerful plastic suckers which keep it firmly in place on the work surface. The mixer should be big enough for all home baking needs but it does seem quite expensive to me for what it is.
There are three main attachments supplied – Dough Hook, Beater and Whisk. These are quite heavy duty and not likely to be easily broken. Instructions are included but these are more a collection of recipes than anything else. In fact, the mixer has very little information and detail supplied with it.
In use, the mixer follows a sort of figure of eight pattern to cover the whole bowl but even then it doesn’t quite capture the entire contents of the bowl and some manual intervention is needed to complete the mix. We found it a little noisy at the higher speeds as you would expect and I registered up to 80 dB on a phone app. This model is supplied with a UK plug. The opening and closing of the main body is by means of a lever on the side. It does a good job and my wife gave it the seal of approval!
This stand mixer looks nice, contemporary and stylish. I am happy to recommend it, although as I said, it does seem a little on the expensive side.
This mixer was reviewed enthusiastically by other Vine reviewers back in May; so I’m not sure what is meant or implied by this belated invitation to me to review it three months later.
However, the first thing I will point out is that there must be a 100 other outwardly identical Chinese mixers on offer at prices ranging from 60 to 170, and all that outwardly distinguishes them from this one are their different and often strange names, and their colours and other minor cosmetic details of styling. It would be reasonable to assume they all originated in the same Chinese factory. This is a common feature of Chinese products and makes wise purchasing unnecessarily difficult.
One doesn’t always know what differences there are inside these outwardly similar but varyingly priced products; sometimes it’s obvious; most of the 60 versions seem to have 1,000 watt motors, for example (but so do some of the more expensive ones); some don’t claim burnout protection (experience suggests that to be essential for a Chinese electrical product) and you’d think they’d trumpet it if they had it; and speeds can range from 3 to ten. I suspect the latter to be overkill and a sales gimmick rather than a useful feature. For 35 years, I used A Robotchef which only had one speed ! And one can conceive of a situation in which manufacturers offered cut-down internal specs to wholesalers and retailers wanting low-priced goods. But who knows how they would end up being marketed ?
This one works fine, looks good, stands firm, has all the necessary bells and whistles, and offers the burnout protection. But comparing it with others of the same family it seems overpriced.
What the mysterious “Hall Board” is that it claims to contain I cannot tell you. A hall board, as far as I know, is a board that controls all the functions – lights, security, heating, fire precautions and whatnot – in, you’ve guessed it, a hall, and they are made by a firm in Irving Texas called “Smartrise” – which started out life making lift controls, as you might guess from its name. I’m not aware that they’ve diversified into food mixers, but who knows ?
Quite, and powerful, and large bowl. I needed the handles, because I could not lift bowl on last mixer bowl due to arthritis. Work well so far like the unit. Only hard a few times. Will be able to give
e review after holiday baking
The operation and look of this item is great next best thing to a Kitchen Aid
I HAVE HAD 2 OTHER MIXERS IN MY LIFETIME, ONE BEING A KITCHEN AID, BUT THIS HOWORK IS DOING THE JOB AND I CAN KEEP THE UPPER PART OF THE MIXER CLEAN, WHICH IS A GREAT FEATURE, AND IT IS LIGHTER WEIGHT TO MANIPULATE WHEN WORKING WITH IT. I, AT THE AGE OF 80, WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HIGHLY FOR THOSE WHO LOVE TO BAKE AS I DO…
Great for the price! I love the large capacity bowl.
