Had a 14inch chainsaw and needed something a bit bigger and this was about the cheapest 20inch. What can I say cracking saw. Easy to start, use and does and excellent job. Well worth the money
I picked this up as needed a larger saw for some fallen trees. It’s not as ruggedly built as a Stihl but I was surprised at how good it is. Came with two chains and I’ve put it through a serious week of use and have to say it did the job brilliantly.
Powerful enough to tackle trunks of 2ft which is what I had to cut.
I’ve since used to fell and cut up more trees on site and really can’t fault it. Out of all the Hyundai products I have recently bought, this one wins hands down on power and reliability. If you’re looking for an affordable saw that’s up to the job then buy one.
I’m a professional landscaper and whilst I was apprehensive about buying a cheaper saw for larger trees I can say it’s now a permanent tool on the vehicle.
This wasn’t something I was expecting to buy but after a fallen tree in last winter and always enjoying a challenge, I decided to attempt dealing with it myself. After reading a few reviews online, I went with this over some of the cheaper options.
The instructions for fitting the chain could be a little clearer, the B&W diagram isn’t great. Once set up, oil filled and fuelled, it’s easy to start, every time. I did experience some cut outs after higher revved usage but that have been down to my novice technique. Be careful of how you store it, mine was leaning slightly forward and leaked a little.
It’s not a light tool. Make sure you have suitable safety gear – trousers, gloves, head guard, boots etc. It sliced through 40cm fir trunk with relative ease! The bigger half of a 14m tree left to go, I’m confident it’ll more than handle it.
First chainsaw i have bought and very pleased so far. makes short work if logs up to 12″ diameter and seems to be very safe. Word of caution – make sure you check the chain tension regularly as the chain does loosten considerably during use, particularly when new.
Good’ saw cuts perfectly, great value compared to Stihl.
Won’t restart hot, (Vapour lock in fuel line) need to wait at least 20 min to cool down before restarting.
Otherwise recommended for big cutting jobs.
Just don’t stop the engine when it’s hot or it won’t restart for you!
My first chainsaw became a pain to start a Titan with Oregon bar, it did well for the two years of light use that I had it.
I bought this one which was 30 dearer but feels more substantial, it has more power, revs higher and the chain has yet to jam.
From the box it needed the bar and chain fitting ( straight forward 2 nuts and a screw to tension the chain – all tools supplied ) also chain oil adding to the oil tank and the 2 stroke oil / petrol mix adding to the fuel tank.
After pumping the primer bulb 6to8 times, pulling the choke out full and pulling the decompression knob out – the engine fired on the third pull.
After pushing the choke in the engine revved slowly at first but I was soon able to blip up the throttle to full RPM.
I used it for 15 mins then had a break, on returning the engine was still hot yet started first pull and was ready to work again, the chain needed tensioning after half an hour but has been fine since.
I like it, for an inexpensive Saw it slices through logs for my burners with ease.
I bought this for my son. He was very happy with it at first. Unfortunately the first time he used it he found the chain break was faulty, however the after sales service/support was great and a new part was delivered a few days later.
Heavier than my Stihl, but a 3rd of the price with a much longer bar.
Effortlessly cut down three significant trees and had them logged by lunch.
Not a chainsaw for throwing about all day, but given the price – fantastic value for money.
4 1/2 stars due to weight, but considering the price and power, it’s unfair to compare it to a premium brand.
I already had another type of chainsaw, but this product has a more powerful motor and the 20 inch chain length is very tempting.
After a whole day of continuous cutting work (cross and lengthwise cutting and slicing of 100-year-old oak with a diameter of 60cm), as well as (cross and lengthwise cutting and slicing of Sequoiadendron giganteum 70cm in diameter cut down 20 years ago) outstanding performance.
It comes with two chains, which is extremely useful when it comes to continuous use throughout the day.
Easy and intuitive assembly, precise and detailed instructions for use.
Strong engine and high-quality chain.
The starting process is slightly different from starting conventional chainsaws, but it is precisely described in the user manual and is easy to learn.
Easy to start every time (though if it’s really hot you might want to wait a bit, as is normal with other types).
Overall, I am absolutely satisfied with the saw and happily recommend it to everyone.
Nearly every delivery from Amazon,in your own Amazon Vans have turned up with wet packaging. This was no exception. Luckily the interior was not wet orit would have damaged the item.
The actual chainsa ,is great though. Only lost a star because it was wet…was not raining when delivered but had been earlie
Fast delivery came a day earlier than expected. Easy to assemble . Only thing that was not the best is the chain tensioner screw it is a bit sticky and not that smooth when adjusting . Easy to start . Started after a couple of pulls . Overall happy with it so far will write another review once I have used it for a day felling and cutting up some big pine trees.
I had an old apple tree in my garden to get rid of.
My tiny McCULLOCH “mac130” could not handle it
Even my McCULLOCH “CS 340” was a worthless waste of time at 1.3kw.
This 2.5kw monster cut through trunks as wide as my wheelbarrow like it was cheese.
Demolished a whole tree and found the blade needed only a minor sharpening.
Advice: remove the bar and chine and clean them and the saw after every use then reassemble for sharpening,
always sharpen the blade after each use if you wait for your blade to go completely blunt it takes forever to sharpen its best to maintain it instead,
spray WD40 on your chain before you put the chainsaw away.
This is basic chainsaw maintenance and I am sad to say that I have had to learn the hard way both my McCULLOCH chainsaws just don’t run the way they used to.
I would recommend this chainsaw for anyone who has a large tree to take down or someone who cuts their own firewood, I am very happy with it.
OK, I was fed up of my Stihl MS171 being an utter pain to start. And having to use specially blended fuel.
No more.
This chainsaw starts. I’ve had no issues so far.
The only flaw so far is the chain tensioner. I’ve had to use the second supplied spare chain as the first had become too loose. Other points, it’s a little heavy, but the blade length makes up for it. It munches through logs more than the Stihl ever did.
I,m pleased with this and use it more than my Stihl. Very good value.
Amazon delivered this item to the wrong address, but all was forgiven after they sent a new one to my actual house and not a few streets away! Brilliant bit of machinery to be fair, east to assemble as there wasn’t much to do, and after a few attempts to start it, it burst into life and felled an old tree on a friends horse field! The job took us less than 2 hours , All logged up and ready for winter, this chainsaw worked fabulously, can’t fault it! Runs smoothly , cuts like a hot knife though butter. It just works as it should, love it.
Bought this chainsaw to replace a McCulloch 20″ and as an additional chainsaw to two Stihl MS171’s. Pretty impressed so far. OK, so I’ve only done a couple of tanks of fuel, but this was on large trunks of beech that were 12″ to 18″ in diameter, so a pretty good test. Was a bit sluggish to start first time, but after that it was pretty easy to start. Plenty powerful enough and fairly light given the size and power. The pull-start does feel a bit flimsy and the file supplied was totally the wrong size. Only time will tell how long it will last. I don’t expect it to last like the Stihl, but at the price point as long as it lasts 12 months I’ll be happy.
Una mquina recomendable.
Comprar solo manitas para su correcto montaje.
Todos los que le pusieron algo negativo es porque si no sabes cmo funciona una mquina no la compres porque la rompes esta o cualquiera.
I was sceptical about buying a non ‘top brand’ chainsaw but I have to say after looking at husqvarana, stihl, they were well made but not heavens above this unit.I’m very impressed with the saw it’s reasonably well put together and comes with some good accessories(bag tools spare chain).like all chainsaws be they top brand or otherwise they can be temperamental but I have found follow the instructions on staring this saw and it will behave for you.prime the bulb 8times,pull the chord on full choke, wait for the burp(tries to start)push in choke pull again several times if necessary and it will fire.so far hasn’t let me down and I have been cutting some decent size logs around 18″ diameter maybe bigger. Very pleased with it seems a good saw good torque, powerful, very happy with it.
Easy to assemble with two chains and a petrol mixer bottle included
After many days using my reciprocating saw to take down some stubborn bushes and the lower limbs of several trees, and many, many blisters, I finally took the plunge on a chainsaw, and opted for this 20 inch Hyundai because the reviews seemed good and the price seemed better. Haven’t regretted my decision for a second since.
The saw was easy enough to set up with the help of the instructions, and to begin with I didn’t know my bars from my chains. First proper operation was initially nerve-wracking, as new power tools often before you know how to behave safely around them, but the Hyundai was easy to start and relatively simple to use. It’s also made light work of some wood I wouldn’t have dared brave with my reciprocating saw. I know there are bigger and more powerful chainsaws out there, but at this price? I doubt you’ll get better.
Following a number of issues I finally managed to speak to right person and I’m glad I did. Nuha has been great and couldn’t have been more helpful. A replacement chainsaw was sent and the defective item to be replacement.
Had this a year or so, worked fine to start with, but next time of use was impossible to start.
Gave it a few attempts over the year, gave up and used an electric.
Discovered this year, that if I put choke and decompressor on, pull cord until it fires once and stalls, then decompress again and turn the choke off. Starts first pull!!.
Have repeated this on a dozen or so occasions since the discovery and it works every time.
Clutch binds a bit so the chain can roll on, requiring the brake applied.
Plastic parts at the front above the exhaust are a bit burnt.
Using the saw at full depth gets the front end plastic hot, despite the foil matting.
Chain tensioner feels like it is going to break whenever I use it, but fingers crossed, it hasn’t yet.
Works on bigger stuff than my black and decker 16″ electric, and not much heavier.
The saw works well, when you get it started. I’ve given it several days of very heavy use and it’s still going strong. It’s comfortable to use and the anti-vibration handling is effective. The 20″ bar allows for some larger jobs to be undertaken.
Overall, great value for money. There are some down-sides, but nothing that can’t be solved easily.
Starting from cold is usually fairly straightforward. Follow the instructions (but I’ve only ever pumped the primer a couple of times, thanks to other reviewers, to avoid flooding it). Starting when hot (e.g. after topping up the fuel) is very easy and usually starts on the first pull, but if you leave it more than a few minutes – forget it. I have not been able to start it from warm at all and just had to leave it for an hour until it fully cooled down.
I ordered some Rotatech chains after the first couple of hours. I used one of the chains supplied and the saw kept stopping mid-cut. Examining the teeth, one of them was completely flat blunt.
The starter cord had to be replaced after the first day and the starter housing is fairly flimsy.
One of the 2 nuts holding the exhaust in place came loose and fell off at some point and had to be replaced. Luckily the other one held fast.
The toolkit supplied is good, apart from the sharpening file which I didn’t find very effective, and has everything that you need. I have an Oregon sharpener that I use instead.
I’m not entirely convinced by the “Low kick-back” claim, since the nose of the guide bar looks fairly blunt and it is a more pointed nose that reduces the potential for kick-back. Having said that, I haven’t had cause (yet) to discover how well the anti-kick-back brake works!
Finally, the chain guard was missing from the original package.
Very good value & easy to assemble. Powerful too – made light work of blocking hard woods.
Product was easy to assemble and works well, useful garden edition. The best of my 3 – electric, battery now petrol.
slightly heavier than I thought, ok in bursts.
Just a great saw to use.
So much better than my old one
he chainsaw worked exactly as i required and look forward to using regularly
Assembly and starting were straightforward. Cuts very well, used 2 tanks of fuel so far, not used all the chain oil each time (unlike my Stihl MS 170) which is a bonus. Restarts easily as you should let the sprung mechanism do the work. Plenty of power, no overheating or burning smell. Before first use I pre-lubricated the chain and bar to be on the safe side. Need to be careful to adjust the new chain to get the sweet spot between too slack and any slight binding (you can detect it when you let the chain stop and it stops a bit abruptly).
I cannot see why one (certainly an occasional user) would pay 4-7 times the price for a Still or Husqvarna of similar size and power. There will be a quality difference – but where? Hyundai make good engines and chainsaws are relatively simple devices so I am baffled at such a price differential.
Easily put together in 5 mins. Follow the starting procedure and it fires up promptly. Has considerably more grunt than my (Bosch) electric chainsaw, allowing thicker cuts in one action, so i’d say power-to-weight ratio excellent. A good DIY tool from a reputable brand.
I wanted a chainsaw to deal with some fallen trees but I did not want to spend too much as I knew the machine would not get used very often. I researched extensively and found this Hyundai chainsaw. It has all of the safety features that are needed and yet it is much cheaper than a comparable machine by Stihl or Husqvarna. It is not particularly easy to start but it does have a decompression button to make starting less strenuous. The machine is quite heavy but very capable and can saw through large trees with ease. I spent a morning sawing up a large fallen tree and there were no issues other than I got quite tired from the weight of the machine but then again, I am a bit feeble!. It is a lot of fun to use actually but do remember to wear PPE (chainsaw trousers, boots, eye protection, ear protection, chainsaw gloves) and get some training if unfamiliar with the safe use of a chainsaw. You will need chainsaw oil to lubricate the chain and of course petrol and 2-stroke engine oil. With a new chain, check and adjust the tension after a few cuts and periodically thereafter (they stretch). Remember, this machine is easily capable of causing a fatal accident in a split second so treat it with respect and your full attention at all times.
This is a great chainsaw well worth every penny. I use it for cutting 18″ tree trunks into bowl blanks with ease. Would defiantly recommend.
Great chainsaw for the price. Starts on first pull every time and cuts through logs with ease. I have not been disappointed with my purchase and would happily recommend this saw. *****
Just what was needed after the storm bought a large tree down in our garde
Good quality materials and design details. Much better than my previous Chinese chainsaw…
Easier to start via fuel primer
Simpler chain tensioning
Clear, comprehensive manual
Useful bag & extras
V simple to go from box to starting work. Good starter saw for heavier trees
Great value for money works effortlessly on sizes of logs
Machine is very powerful and cuts easily without using extreme pressure.Handbook photos in black and white were not clear and did not provide clear views of each specific item.
Machine was purchased to replace my old chainsaw which was more complicated to adjust/operate.
This machine is a great improvement.
Delivered a day earlier than promised. Excellent value chainsaw, cuts better than major manufacturers chainsaw it replaced at less than a third of the price of theirs. Easy to assemble, starts easier than any others I have used previously. This chainsaw is great value and with 3 year warranty it should last longer than the orange one it replaced.
Quick delivery, long cutting bar, easy to operate and use . Great piece of machinery
Came in parts but easy to assemble. Started after just a couple of pulls on the cord and was simple to use. Not to heavy to nadle but copes with quiet sizeable branches easily. Very good value for money
Was simple to put together. Someone put on a review that it came with chain oil, it doesn’t. Someone put hard to put together, it isn’t its simple, just put some gloves on first, that chain is very sharp. Great bit of kit.
Arrived on time.
Really easy to put together.
Simple to use, so pleased with this purchase
It was easy to assemble. Was a bit of a pain to get started for the first time probably because I flooded it. I used it this morning to cut logs for my burner. I have to say it made light work of the job much better than the husquavarna saw I used to use. The tool is far better built than I expected for the price.
I’ve only y used it for an hour, so once I have put more hours in I will write another review but all in all it seems to be worth the money.
Real easy to start and use cuts through the trees with ease
After the recent storms my old petrol chainsaw was showing its short comings, it was old, kept breaking down and really needed nurturing along … constantly! So here I was (still am) with a whole heap of wood to deal with, that’s where the Hyundai makes an appearance. Having looked around this model seemed to tick all the boxes, albeit cheaper than the ‘typical’ chainsaw brands that get touted about, this model does not stand in their shadows. Amazon had it at the best price, delivery was quick and it has a 3 year warranty, what is not to like about that?
So back to my experience of it. The saw comes in a medium sized box and just needs a little assembly, nothing that someone who intends to use a chainsaw would be unnerved about, if they were then they should not be using it. So first thing was to fit the spike, a couple of hex bolts and the tool is supplied then place the bar on and the chain, which there are two chains supplied. I particularly like this 2 chains, saves having to order a spare as soon as you get the saw. Once all assembled and adjusted, again with supplied tool nearly ready to go. Quick fill up with oil and some 40:1 fuel/2 stroke oil mixture, pump the bulb till its full, brake on, ignition on choke out, decompression pushed in …… and pull. Fresh out of the box it took a good 10 pulls to get it all started, but after breaks for a nice hot beverage started on the second pull while still warm (so no choke needed). I did have a little smoke coming off the saw body when I first used it, I put this down to oil coatings on the metal parts and on subsequent use no longer there. In use it was great, feels solid and well made, nice and powerful with the 62cc engine, and that 20 inch bar, excellent at this price point. In the first few minutes it seemed heavy, but that is only because I came from a 40cc 14 inch machine, like I said only for my first few minutes after that I’m used to it, it handles well.
All in all I’m happy with my purchase, only had it for just over a day and it has been put through its paces, I would certainly buy it again faced with the same choices but I won’t have to for a few years thanks to that warranty.
THE CHAINSAW ARRIVED WELL PACKED AND FAST DELIVERY
AFTER UNPACKING AND SETTING UP I USED IT ON THE SAME
DAY AS DELIVERED…. IT WORKED PERFECTLY CUTTING
THE LOGS WITH EASE.
I WOULD DEFINITELY PURCHASE HYUNDAI PRODUCTS AGAIN.

All good. The travel bag is a bit cheap and tacky, but the chainsaw is excellent.
We have lots of willow that needs cutting back every year, as well as a few beech trees.
We have a big garden of about 1 acre with a variety of mature trees and shrubs. Needed a robust yet easy to use chainsaw for cutting tress/logs etc. The Hyundai brand attracted me as I believe it will be well made and is backed up by a 3 year Hyundai warranty.
Item arrived very quickly, well packaged with all relevant parts and tools etc. inside. Instructions are fairly clear and straightforward.
So far I am very pleased with the purchase. Obviously I will see how it performs over the next few months when I use it around the garden.
This chainsaw came well recommended, so I had no hesitation in ordering 1. It goes through trees like butter. I am very pleased I read the reviews
Good product, my son in law bought one, I started to use it and was so impressed i bought one myself, its big and heavy, plenty of power, ideal for cutting large tree wind falls, very impressed with the performance.
but it is not for someone new to chainsaws.
only two complaints,, Hyundai did not set up the carb properly, and the chain saw ajustment screw, needs replacing, it should be free moving, the fitted one is not Fred Pinson Jan 2022
I’m used to Sthil but I would not hesitate to buy this Chainsaw again. Easy start from cold and warm. Cuts through tree trunks like butter.
Online video advised before assembly – it is fairly straightforward once the assembly process is demonstrated. Full tool kit provided along with manual and carrying bag / fuel mix bottle – 40:1 ratio marked on bottle. Started 3rd pull then first time thereafter. Handled tree trunk with ease (10 foot apple tree) You nee chain oil to fill reservoir and two stroke oil to mix with petrol. Full starting instructions in manual. Very pleased with performance of the chainsaw.
I have had many chainsaws over the years, some expensive and some cheap.
I have a professional saw and I wanted a middle ground saw for logging up at my house. I didn’t want to use my professional saw anymore for logging, wear and all that, it is my work saw.
So found this product and I have to say, it is a beast.
After a few hours cutting, it ripped through some thick Ash, Oak, Chestnut and Hawthorn.
The picture is mainly Ash and Hawthorn.
Oak and Chestnut had already been cut and split. I don’t mess about.
So far so really good.
Oh, and assembly is simple if you know chainsaws.
Easy to assemble, easy to use, starts every time and I’ve had no issues with the pull cord. So far very impressed
Having purchased a far more expensive chainsaw 6 month beforehand which blew up and seller refused to replace, I was not going to pay the same money for it to happen again. This product, although heavier, has out lasted and done 10 times the work and is still going strong! Highly recommend!
Great machine cut a lot of heavy timber and still on original chain easy machine to use.
It’s so easy to use and cuts like a hot knife through butte
Done no hard work with it yet but it handles well and sounds and looks the pa
Good saw starts easily and does what it was meant to do. For the price I think it is well worth the money and has already paid for itself in not having to rent a saw!!
Took a while to get it started.
Works a treat and easy to restart and operate.
Makes sawdust just as quick as its more expensive competitors
cut through an 18 inch trunk without faltering.
I was not expecting a lot from this chainsaw because of the price, I only use a chainsaw once or twice a year so I dont want to pay much, but I was very pleasantly surprised by the power. it was easy to start and came with 2 chains and a file for sharpening.
Easy to assemble, easy instructions. Good quality product. Would recommend as great value for money.
Great value chainsaw, not only powerful with a long blade, but comes with mixing bottle, spare chain and carry bag.
Delivered quickly, the product looks to be robust and easy to use
The machine is doing the job with aplomb so far. However the chain brake mechanism is made of brittle feeling plastic as is the chain tensioner, so time will tell.
Happy at the moment.
I am an experienced user of chainsaws, with many years experience.
Pro’s: awesome cutting with loads of power. Decent quality saw.
There year warranty.
Two chains included.
Cons: not as easy to start as stated.
I followed the instructions, to the letter, and was hit and miss.
Mixing bottle and carry bag cheap quality, but that’s not the end of the world.
Overall, excellent value for the 120 that I paid on a black Friday deal.
Overall very good value for a nice piece of kit, plenty of power, starts easily (make sure to decompress button). Just a few niggles that could do with improvement.
It comes with a fuel mixer bottle with marked volumes, when I filled up the fuel tank there was about a 20ml overspill (after tipping it into a funnel). The on/off button is place so I’ve managed to tap it with my thumb a couple of times and cut it off. The chain adjustment is fiddly compared to other electric saw in that you have to slacken off a couple of nuts and adjust a screw (with the supplied tool), on my electric I can do it one handed in gloves as the mechanism is built in.
Used to cutt a few trees drown went through with ease chain stayed tight. Bit heavy to use at height.
After persevering with a 16″ electric chainsaw, Storm Arwen finally forced my hand to purchase a petrol chainsaw after several trees were felled around the house. Chose the Hyundai 62cc 20″ chainsaw as there were cheaper models available, but Hyundai is a name I believe I can trust and hopefully time will back up my belief. Initial impressions are that is a very high quality product for the price, and apart from fuel and chain oil, everything you needed was in the box, including a spare chain (2 in total), toolkit, fuel mixer bottle and a handy carrying bag. Hope to have many years use from it.
This chainsaw is a serious machine and represented excellent value for money at the time it was purchased. Clear instructions assisted in the limited assembly required and I had the saw running within half an hour of opening the box. Time will tell as to how durable it is is but on the face of it it appears well made and I appreciated the fact that it comes with two chains. A rather flimsy storage bag is supplied (in contrast to the machine itself) but it will be much easier to keep this saw in an old holdall together with the provided tools, instructions and the spare chain.
Excellent Chainsaw, lightweight, easy to start and bonus with two chains
Heavier than some but usable and for the price ideal for DIY and should provide good service
Used regularly, works really well, for the cost it is great value
Have used it several times since purchase. Starts easily and cuts beautifully. Comes with smart covers for the machine and the chain. Also a handy zip bag with tools and chain file. Very pleased.
Great chainsaw fantastic value for money and easy to assemble – started on second pull. Bought to replace my Stihl.
After reading some less than flattering reviews on this saw I still decided to give it a go.
Firstly, anyone who has a problem in assembling any chainsaw probably should’nt be using one. It’s dead easy.
After filling with the correct fuel/oil mix, I primed the bulb and pulled….and pulled….and pulled…. My temper was getting the better of me and this new aquisition was just about to take its 1st flying lesson across my yard! I have a very low tolerance when it comes to new things that fail me. I put it in my workshop overnight, primed the bulb again, but just the once this time, decompression valve open and on the 2nd pull it fired up. Being a new engine I let it idle for a few minutes before putting it to work on a pretty large tree. It’s certainly got some poke and way out powers my Stihl 021. It’s heavy…. very heavy but feels well made and sturdy. So, go easy on the primer bulb, use the decompression valve and you should be good to go.
Going to be cutting trees and logs for our log burne
Does what is says on the tin. Great quality especially for the price.
I cut 4 ton of wood a year for myself. I have a Husqvarna and a Sthil and this pound for pound is a 100x better than buying a second hand saw for 300. I’d buy 2 and have on resting. But as I have 3 saws I use this as much as the others.
The brake was stiff at first but after 10 mins use it freed up, and it took 5 mins to get the fuel to pull through, but that could be my technique was wrong. It starts on the button and leaves a strong saw dust pattern. Doesn’t fuss on anything under 14′. Sinks in first go and doesn’t labour.
Big value for money.
Saw this advertised and thought it looked good, we have a Hyundai car and expected the same build quality with the chain saw and was not disappointed. Would thoroughly recommend
The saw arrived well packed and with good quality instructions. Being a larger unit than most domestic saws, the compression release valve considerably assists starting. It is also heavier which helps the cut.
Powerful chainsaw that cut this tree with no problem. Pleasantly surprised. Also very good instructions with image shots for every step.
Very happy nice little machine only purchased for home guarding jobs can’t beat it I don’t think powerful , easy to assemble, good quality for money, long enough blade , esey start, came on time very happy all round . Bad points , I have runout of trees to sort out. good purchase no problem with anything cutting wise .
It’s too early to say if this is a good chain saw. It looks very sturdy and well designed and easy to assemble, but, the quick start guide could tell you more, for example to open and close the choke, hold the throttle fully open, and pull back the choke. And check the length of the recoil starter cord before you try to start the machine, so you know how much you can pull it safely.
What’s not to like, easy to assemble, easy to use, and a lot lighter any most chainsaws , I have used, time will tell of its wear and tear.
I’ve had a 14″ bar stihl chainsaw before and my last saw was a Husqvarna 120 14″, both were great for their light weight and reliability, this however is noticeably heavier but immeasurably better with larger cutting needs. I would estimate that it takes a third of the time to cut through a 20″ diameter log than the aforementioned saws, and jobs I found difficult before this just breezes through. If I had one gripe I would have asked for a larger on/off button as it can be hard to find without looking. The warranty seems too good to be true. Wonderful purchase and so far after roughly 10 hours of use could not be happier.
Booklet says plug spanner is stored under handle of chainsaw.
Not so on the one I have just got, there is no space in the plastic moulding to store the spanne
Brilliant bit of kit for the money. I don’t like cheap tools but this has been a god send, easy to start and decent amount of power.
I found that it was very easy to assemble the unit, started second pull of the cord only trouble I had if you call it trouble was getting the chain oil to prime took about three minutes of run time for oil to arrive. Starting from hot is easy and tick over is steady. Not of the same quality as my previous saw (stihl) but if it lasts half as long I have had the stihl twenty years now this saw will be a bargain.
I purchased this chainsaw to do some necessary clearance work on a field. I had initially considered a Stihl but this one was a lot cheaper and came with free accessories, so I thought I would give it a whirl and see. As others have said, this saw is very impressive. It was easy enough to assemble, although the instructions weren’t always clear. So far, I have used it solidly for a few days and it has done an excellent job cutting through willow branches and trunks with very little effort required. It is not heavy or difficult to handle — although, of course, it is essential to take appropriate safety precautions when using this sort of tool. It starts without a lot of coaxing and isn’t too heavy on fuel or oil. Having only just bought it, I can’t comment on its long-term reliability ; however it seems well constructed and comes with a 3 year warranty so, to be honest, I don’t think you can go far wrong!
Arrived day after I placed order and relatively simple to assemble. Not the lightest equipment but that’s to be expected.
Pros:
Easy to set up and powerful to use. Good quality chain. The chain adjustment might seem tricky but it is more effective than some that let the chain slip back to create slack. Note that you have to loosen the two silver bolts before turning the tensioning grub screw. Fairly fuel efficient.
Cons:
The fuel pump feed is poorly placed so that the engine cuts out at when the tank is half full. You can re-prime it and restart it but it will cut out soon after. You therefore have to keep it topped up.
The wood claw tears the supplied bag and potentially damages anything you rest the saw upon.
But overall, a good value powerful saw. … Make sure you wear safety kit while using it though!
This is the first time I have purchased a chainsaw. It was a little fiddly to assemble but not too bad, it took about half an hour. It’s quite powerful, I have been cutting a lot of heavy wood from the trunk of a tree and it is working well. Just check the chain occasionally to make sure it hasn’t gotten too loose and keep the oil topped up.

This is a well balanced chainsaw and not too heavy for a mid level machine. The 62cc engine copes with the 20inch bar without running out of power. The package comes with 2 chains so you can always have a sharp one ready when out on a long job. Overall a great chainsaw for the money.
This chainsaw easily cuts trees. Very sturdy and robust. Great product.
I’m not an expert on chainsaw’s or even close. I’ve owned just one previously. This is fantastic. Very, very powerful. I see a few negative reviews and fair enough, sometimes we all have a duff buy even when the overall opinions are top notch. For the price you are getting a really excellent chainsaw. So don’t look any further.
