We decided to buy this after our ancient Honda gave up the ghost. Delivery was exceptionally fast, ordered on a Monday arrived Tuesday morning. Easy to assemble and once the battery was charged , fuel and oil added we were up and running. Handles and cuts well and early indications are that it compares favourably with the much more expensive Honda.
Was intuitive and easy to assemble. Just cut the grass for the first time and it did a really great job. The roller has good weight to it and it has left really good lines.
Box arrived which is heavy, needs two people to lift. Awkward to unpack, again needs two people to lift out of box. Assembly instructions are not the best, but after a bit of trial and error got it built. Once built, oil added, battery charged it was easy to start up and use. Primed the engine hit the start button, pull the handles and your off. Very nicely engineered item.
My electric Qualcast I bought from Homebase broke down after its engine got toasted – bought it 2 years ago in 2020. When it was time to upgrade to a rear roller , this popped up on my screen as I was searching for reviews in youtube. So I spent time comparing this to other top brands and decided this is a much better value with its price so I ordered it and since then, I have achieved those cuts and stripes that my well looked after lawn deserves. I plan to make a video review when I get the chance at some point. Even my neighbour’s gardener was impressed with it.
Due to Arthritis in my hands I can’t pull a cord to start a petrol engine mower and I was fed up with the trailing electric lead of my current mower. A battery one doesn’t do self propelled as was my electric one. The Hyundai does it all, self propelled, electric start and doesn’t have trailing leads. I did find it a little heavier than I’m used to but it didn’t take long to master the speed situation [also not used to being towed along as mine was a push]. So far very pleased with it.
My Hayter Spirit 41, finally had too many parts that needed changing or repairing to make it economically viable to keep investing in it so I took the plunge and bought this Hyundai.
Very easy to setup and and has robust readers and top deck made if steal, which makes this much heavier than my hayter. The Roller self propelled works really well and despite what others may say it is an ideal speed.
Picking it up is a bit cumbersome and the machine as mentioned is heavy.
The grass collection today was very poor in deed. Yes it was damp it is December but it would not collect all so this is clearly a dry day cutter, how many of these do we get?
Overall its OK, but grass collection is poor with damp grass I will have to wait until spring for another cut in drier conditions.
Great mower for medium size garden. Great impartial advice to select the appropriate model from Hyundai when buying online. Only negative is the clip on the grass box becomes dislodged frequently, and needs clipping back in after emptying the grass box.

Arrived early from Amazon got it out the box built it up put the oil in and cut the grass.
Top machine for me it start very well every time.
This mower was a fantastic purchase and very easy to put together.
Certainly looks a really good sturdy machine. I have only tried it out for a short time as not actually the growing season. But it worked well and with the well known Hyundai name, I don’t foresee any major issues. Can’t fault delivery, packaging and was quite easy to put togethe
Arrived as predicted. Assembled and running in no time at all. Just waiting for it to be dry for a couple of days before one cut before the winter closedown. Expecting good things

Easy to build up, very pleased with the self-start. It stripes perfectly and overall we are very happy with the quality for the price paid.
Purchased this mower in may 2020 my garden is only 130 square meters and totally flat so you will understand my disappointment and frustration when the self propelled gear failed.
The motor has a roller at the rear so is too heavy to push.
As I have only used approx. 24 times I feel the mower should be replaced with a new one from Hyundai
Hyundai doesn’t think so, they started quoting consumer law stating they can repair an item with in the first 6 months what customer focused business dose that.
firstly they offered to send me a new gear box to fit myself ?
then they advised they would collect it but I had to drain the oil & petrol wrap it and box it in suitable box ?
and insult to injury advised me that if the fault was not there’s I would be charged for a repair.
do yourself a favour and avoid this company and its products or buy yourself some indigestion tablets
go local its less risky

Good mower pulls uphill on my gardens, electric start is good, oil level dipstick is a bit unclear, but put in the whole bottle that’s supplied. The level comes up. You get a nice stripe on the lawn.
Easy to put together and started on the first pull when the supplied oil and ASPEN 4 (bought separately) were added.
Made lovely and well defined stripes on my lawn.
Only used it once, but great so far.
This mower is very well built and easy to assemble. Electric start makes it easy to use.

I filled the mower with non leaded fuel, set the height to maximum, primed the fuel and pressed the electric starter. She started first time.
The grass was long and slightly damp being the first cut of the season. No problem for this mower. The rear roller allowed me to cut right to the edge of the lawn. The self propelled mode took a bit of getting used to but with care I was able to “slip” the clutch and have full control whilst turning the mover. The mower is slightly heavy however. Altogether the mower is a great example of fine engineering. I would highly recommend it.
