The original seat was not Soft closing and subsequently was damaged by my grandchildren, the replacement has stood the test of grandchildren with its smooth closing option.

Free and quick delivery. Well I don’t know if it was cheap I would have liked it to have been cheaper. But it was the correct shape and came with new fixings, unfortunately not you bog standard toilet so couldn’t just pop down to the DIY store and pick one up for 20 quid
Should do exactly what it days on the box, and directly replaces the older incumbent, but….. despite being a warehouse deal, where the description suggested damaged box, inside the bag of bits was open, and one vital item was missing. This suggests that it’s been returned, likely because the returnee lost the missing toggle when they tried to install it. I now have to buy a toggle and hopefully it will work. Otherwise, it’s a return.
The seat was delivered fine it was an exact replacement for my original seat which turned a yellow colour, I don’t know why. It was easy to fit and the plastic and metal hinge was an improvement to the original all metal one that rusted. The only reason that I did not give it 5 stars is that it is a bit expensive by comparison with many others.
The seat is very good. I think it’s a bit expensive but it’s the only one that fits the toilet pan that is have properly. The first one delivered was badly package and arrived damaged. It was quickly replace etc just frustrating.

However the seat and lid assembly was delivered on time, and in good condition. Because of the failure of the previous unit, I closely examined the mouldings around the hinge areas for any hairline fractures. The product was visually sound. Installation was straightforward, as the fixings were already in place on the WC. It was just a case of removing the old assembly, and replacing it with the new unit. Job done.
We are monitoring this new assembly for cracks very carefully. It should be said that this particular WC is in a downstairs washroom, and with only my wife and me living in the house it gets very light use.
