Brought this to replace another make of camera, easy to install and set up, the detection monitor is not as good as old camera or the picture quality. But it does work well remote and camera moves around and tilts very well, good angle of view. Overall happy with camera for what I paid and its also solar and battery.

After a rough start with this camera I had the pleasure of having an email conversation with customer helpline Tara. She is a very helpful and service oriented person. She arranged for me to have a replacement camera which is working well. Tara has helped during the process as I am not very technically minded and had to get help for set up , however I am now pleased with it and it sends me the notifications and pictures I need.

Simple to use. Would be better if this model had humanoid tracking.

Having encountered, probably due to my lack of technical know how, a connectivity issue, I was helped with a quick response to try and resolve it. Despite various suggestions I wasn’t able to do so and without hesitation or a request from me, I was told a replacement would be sent. It arrived within two days.
The story ends with me eventually getting the original one up and working properly and being told to keep the replacement in case there was a possible issue that could occur again. First class!

I had this camera for about 7 months, and after working faultlessly it unfortunately developed a problem, after shutting down suddenly I was not able to reset the camera, after contacting the igeek service team and trying a few suggestions without success I was sent a replacement camera within a week which I have to say is excellent service by the igeek team.
    Very recommeded

A well finished robust product, easy and quick to use with cloudEdge app, wires free, good quality video on daylight. one small request is to upgrade night recording quality. I will need 2nd one in near future.

    Robust and good to ow

Easy to set up up.the software’s easy to use. Set up the app on your phone. You need a memory card for the camera and then you don’t have to use a subscription.

The first camera supplied developed a mechanical fault a few weeks after installation – the customer service was great and arranged a replacement to be sent quickly and without charge. The picture and sound quality are great and motion detection is reliable. The app is easy to navigate and it was easy to install both cameras. The camera can be linked to more than one phone/device, but can only be viewed on one device at a time – not an issue for us. Would thoroughly recommend.

The only problem is that the main wire connected to the camera is short and got 3 heads ( Internet/power and 3rd I don’t know, so to install you need a wide hole to drilled so you can pass those heads in to the house and connected to the power and……
Atleast they should’ve made in to 2 parts, one narrow wire and the 3 heads separately to be connected when the main camera wire passes into the house.

This is my 3rd IEgeek outdoor camera the first 2 are fixed and have worked well for nearly 3 years.
This 360 camera is for the garden so I can see the whole area and the colour night vision is excellent.
I use the recommended HiP2 Client app on my desktop and CamHi app on both tablet and phone. The CamHi app enables you to monitor your cameras anywhere you have an WiFi internet connection.
All my cameras work off WiFi and are no further than 20 mtrs from the router. I have experimented with a direct (cat5) connection using power line adapters and they work OK if the WiFi signal is weak.
Overall I’m very happy with these cameras and would recommend.

This camera is well built and for the price is well worth the money.
    PROS
Good night vision with bright leds for colour.
Panning is good but the zoom is limited.
Connects well with WiFi but needs a good signal to function correctly.
    CONS
Motion tracking is not good. Camera ends up looking at the wall it is mounted on especially at night.
Motion detection when raining is very sensitive. I have the sensitivity at 5% and it still constant triggers.
Camhipro app is basic but works OK.
I have a 128g sd card installed and records 24/7. When the card is full it should overwrite old files. This doesn’t seem to work and it just stops recording. I have to reformat the card which losses all files.

Really easy to install, the set up through the app was straight forward, had to change my broadband settings as you do with any wireless device. App is easy to use, good quality recording and great movement of the camera, turned the motion detection off as its to sensitive for my use.

Sorry, it worked for 4 months then we had an internet issue which was sorted in a few hours.
Had to bring the camera in to reconnect. We got it working again so we have put it back up. The camera is very good , great video quality, battery last for 2 or 3 months. I would buy one again.

Good build quality from initial inspection. Zoom and scan function works well within the android app. Resolution disappointed me to be honest after previously using a Euffy product. Will suffice.

Relatively easy to install though the software and app were a bit of a headache until you get your head around it’s usage. Motion detection is good as it followed a cats shadow on the fence moving. Mounted on corner of shed with corner bracket bought from Amazon warehouse at half price plus there was a deduction on the camera price so a huge saving! Czz as n highly recommend

    Does the job well

he app worked on my android samsung s10 for 5 mins then never worked again, just kept bouncing me back to my desktop. i use the browser based app, which works but also suck due to poor u.i design.

the camera is great for the money

Like the design of this model and quiet operation. Was simple to set up and connect the separate solar panel charger. Wifi connectivity is a bit hit & miss, and sound quality through the speakers is very tinny. Good system for the price.

This product is brilliant for someone who doesnt want to spend a massive amount of money like myself yet still wants security satisfaction. Various settings and modes and adjustments can be made and its very easy to setup. Only thing thats poor is the time zones as it doesnt support UK time zone, you can sync the time zone with your phone but it doesnt save the time so when openning the app again u have to sync every time leaving your saved recordings with the wrong time and dates.

Successfully installed camera and connected to Wi-Fi. Overall this is a good camera that is lacking in a couple of areas.

    + points
    + easy to monitor via mobile and desktop pc;
    + reasonable picture quality
+ follows target using pan and tilt
+ no monthly subscription as records to SD card

    – points
    – motion sensor over sensitive, easily triggered
    – cannot be connected to Alexa/ Echo (confirmed by customer support)

I connected it at first with the ethernet cable attached as soon as I disconnected it connected to Wifi and when I unpluged it and placed it where i wanted it as soon as i powered it up it connected to my wifi straight away, with a great night vision picture and also has a great day time picture, A very good buy and well worth the money

I loved this item. It did everything I wanted but then after 24hrs it reverted to its factory settings. It said it was In Asia! eGeek were very good, sent illustrated instructions to set it up but after a week of up & down a ladder, & in-spite of their offer to carry out on line tests or replace it, By this time I had lost confidence in the camera. I asked & got a refund. I have now gone for a video doorbell but wish it had worked!

This is not a bad camera for the price. The picture quality is quite good with the wide angle lens. I have several security cameras of different brands, I believe most of them are made by the same company and just branded differently as I have found the software used is the same on at least two of the three brands I have.

With regards to this camera the only negatives which I must say are minor are:

The night vision IR leds could be stronger to give a better spread over the wide angle lens, the night vision I would say is just adequate.
I wasn’t able to attach the network aerial as the bracket assembly was too short for the angle I needed to put the camera, luckily this wasn’t a problem for me as I was using a wired network linkage so WIFI wasn’t needed, but it might be a problem for others. Something I believe the manufacturers could do with looking at.

Attaching the camera to the CamHi Pro app was very easy along with the P2P Windows program for PC.

The mechanism supplied for water proofing the external RJ45 network plugs was impossible to use as the supplied kit was too small to fit the RJ45 plug through. Again for me this wasn’t a problem as I was using an external waterproof junction box. IeGeek need to look at the supplied waterproofing plugs as I cant believe I would be the only person sent the wrong size kit. In contrast I have two other IeGeek cameras that have the correct size kit supplied.

If you are planning on using a wired network, bare in mind that you will need to drill at least a 20mm hole to pass the cable through.

Would I buy again yes as the price is not too bad for what it is. It would be nice if IeGeek could address the above niggles with the manufacturer, be it them selves or another company.

Our preference was to use the camera in intelligent tracking mode. I am not sure whether the camera is allowed to be used on our driveway as we know the camera move towards any movement nearby on the left or right? That means it could detect movement of part of our neighbor garden as well.
That is what exactly happened, the camera detected some movement in the neighbor garden and doesn’t return to a home position and continued to look in the neighbors garden until detect new movement. I got a complaint from the neigbour that the camera is pointed towards his garden and was in a position to disable the tracking mode. That is the bad point!

Easy to install and set up even for a DIY novice. App is easy to use.

Whilst it still works outside, the WiFi connection once past a brick wall drops significantly. Still able to do the job though.

Battery is ok, haven’t done a full on test but lasts at least 3 weeks fully charged.

Would have liked to be able to actually see the sensitivity settings on the picture you’re seeing instead I.e. using AR. Took a bit of trial and error to get the right sensitivity settings.

    Overall happy with the purchase.

The camera is good, the automatic tracking is flawed as it is impossible to get the camera to return to a home position after it has detected motion, meaning if a person walks past your car, the camera will spend the rest of the day looking down the road unless someone walks back. I’ve disabld the cameras tracking and use third party software (blue iris) to handle the tracking and camera positions. The camera quality is good, and I’ve had no signal issues. The app and web interface are basic, but ok. I’ve ordered another (fixed position) camera from the same brand, so it can’t be that bad

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersThis is a difficult review. On the WIFI this camera and the recommended software operate without fault. The picture quality is great, the lowlight capability is unbelievable, and the night-time IR is also very good. The downside is the recommended mobile app software ‘CamHipro’ only works when you are in range of your WIFI network. As soon as you move away from the WIFI signal the app will not connect to the camera.
So, if you only want to view this camera through your WIFI network (phone or computer) definitely 5 stars, but if you need to view it remotely through the telephone network when you are away from home, then it doesn’t rate any stars at all. Shame because the camera is great but let down by the mobile software and I cannot find any other software that can connect to the camera remotely.

I have an igeek at the front of the property that has humanoid detection which is good as other movement does not trip it off the 360 does not so is tripping off all the time with trees/bushes moving, not ideal! Otherwise OK.

Have my camera installed for 4 weeks now, wanted to wait to see how it worked. Day/night vision very good. Motion detection seems to be a little dodgy as there has been 3 occasions (that I’m aware of) where we have come home ourselves and it didn’t pick us up or send alert. This is worrying as the whole purpose of the camera is to detect if anyone on our property. I have tried changing the hours of detection on the app to see if this would make a difference but it didn’t. Pity as it was very easy to install and set up.

Purchased to use for stables and field.
Have the 355 one for field and other two are standard.
They are great! Was relatively easy to set up once i got the nack.
Good pictures, good night vision. Sometimes a bit blurry looking out over field at night but expected that. Motion sensors are good but i switch off in stables or pings every time they move . I use 1 camera per 2 stables and it has a good coverage of both. I also use with a Wifi dongle and they work well. The field one is prob 100 meters from the dongle and works well still. I like that you can also zoom in and out on the app.
I got a 3 pack of samsung memory cards from Argos that i use and went for the highest mem card it takes.
Was initially dubious to purchase as looking at others, reviews were mixed, but these seemed to have good reviews so i took a gamble. Glad i did as am not disappointed & wished done ages ago.
Great cameras and really pleased with them.

Lots of positives for this camera, features and functionality. Excellent and responsive customer service by email and remoting in to check settings.

Now to the killer flaw IMHO.
Image and video from the low quality 2nd stream are emailed, saved to the SD card or over FTP. What does this mean? The camera records in full HD @ 1920×1080 on the first stream. On the second stream it records 640×352 and the images are virtually useless for reviewing and presenting as evidence.

This was confirmed after a few emails with customer service.

    What a shame.

I mounted this camera to watch over my back garden and set it up using the PC based HiP2P client software. Whilst this is not ieGeek software specific to this camera it does allow access to further options that in the CamHi App alone. I have recently purchased and set up another iegeek camera so was able to use that experience to make setting this one up a lot, lot easier. I have set up to pre plan record continuously rather than rely on alarm events function. Despite reducing sensitivity settings and field of view options there were still too many events triggered by birds flying across the field of view.

Hi, Overall this is a good camera. Easy to install, Running great on ethernet, So I cannot comment on WiFi.
The unit seems well made and the instruction book is good, As is the software, No problems with Phone or pc. The one downside that knocked a star off the fact that even though the sensitivity is set to the lowest 2.
It keeps sending out alerts every few seconds. This I think is due to plants in my garden moving in the wind, But what garden does not have plants.

What i like so far about this product is that it would seem to be waterproof, unlike cheaper inferior models,
the camera is very sharp and clear both day & night, motion detection is if anything a little bit too sensitive, it is triggered by moths etc at night.

I already had 3 bullet CCTV camera’s from ieGeek which I am really happy with and have found them flawless. It therefore didn’t take me long to decide on this latest model from ieGeek when I was looking for a new camera to add to my set-up. This model camera is a big step up in functionality from my existing cameras and I am so impressed with just how much you get for your money with ieGeek. This camera is crystal clear images at both day and night, with the added bonus of colour night vision. Using the CamHiPro application you can tilt and pan the camera as well as listening through the camera’s built in microphone and also speak to whoever may be outside through its speaker. The auto motion detection and following function is a great addition, which will track anyone or anything snooping around your garden in the dead of night.
If you are looking for a camera that has fantastic imaging no matter what the time, lets you hear and speak to the outside world, is fantastic build quality, and doesn’t cost you a future then you really shouldn’t look anywhere else than ieGeek and this truly outstanding camera !!!

Another Fantastic Camera from ieGeek !

The picture quality during the day is great. The night vision isn’t as good however and had a strange shadow, for the price and my purpose it is fine.
The recording when triggered is great! Easy to look back on when checking.
Considering this camera was 40 and plugged straight into the mains with no need for an electrician it is definitely worth it.

    Great product for the price

Thought I would try my luck with one of the cheaper/less known brands as I can’t afford the top models. Happy to say this seems to be ok for the money paid.

Was easy enough getting it connected through the app and the picture quality does the job. I can move the camera around via the app to keep an eye on the family in the garden.

Installation was also easy thankfully. Only thing I would note is you need quite a thick hole to get all the wires through to where it was going. Maybe also should have went for a black model so it doesn’t stand out as much but it’s the back garden so not the end of the world.

    Budget camera that moves

I have two of the ieGeek 5MP fixed cameras and wanted something to cover a wide open area, so knowing the brand I purchased this 360 degree CCTV. What’s great is that you can manage all three cameras with the same smartphone apps. The setup was very easy and this time I decided to see how good the wifi connectivity was. Impressive range as I mounted the camera on my garage away from the house and can easily connect. If you want to fine tune the video settings then you need to use the CamHi app. The night colour picture is impressive with the area lit up by the camera LEDs. You can switch it to normal mode to use the IR for black and white night time pictures if you prefer. I purchased a quality 128GB SD card so it will record at the highest quality settings and still hold many days history before overwriting. I’m impressed with this camera so far and great value for money.

This cctv camera is fantastic we have discovered that we have two adults and a young hedgehog living here. I did have two short clips to show how good both black & white night vision and colour night vision are but Amazon are having problems with this feature at the mome

Installation of the camera was very straightforward and for neatness the cables can be tucked up inside the camera mount. Connection to wifi also worked well and the connection was ok at a distance of about 10m. The app is easy to use allowing manual control of the camera direction and level of zoom. Amazing clarity of the night vision. Reduction in the motion sensitivity was needed to reduce the frequency of detecting cats. Overall, no issues with the camera so far and would recommend.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHave been considering installing a security camera for a while. Read the reviews and seemed to be good.
The camera arrived within a couple of days. Only gripe there, delivery person left it on the doorstep. The product was well packed and appears very solid. Regard myself as very tech savvy, but the instructions were not particulary clear. Recommend installing via hardwire then move to wi-fi. As with all these cameras the leads are always too short. Having said that the power supply cable was plenty long enough. Clarity is also good. Only had it for a short while but on the face of it would recommend especially on the price. Mounted mine on a weatherproof box so that I had plenty of space to contain the cables.

This is the third of these cameras I have bought and installed, I’ve found these are the best in the price range.
All are mounted outside and work whatever the conditions.
Two units are Ethernet connected and one by wi-fi
Video playback and extraction is easy to do and also within the Camhi software the means to convert to MP4 format
Nighttime vision is around 8 mtrs
They are easy to set up with concise instructions

Very easy to setup, as I already had the HiP2P client on PC, it picked up this new camera straight away. Within the CamHi App on phone and tablet, adding the camera to existing cameras was super easy too, then customising the settings for the camera is simple, adding the FTP details, resetting the default password, adding wi-fi details all very straight forward. There is a great option (intelligent tracking) where you can set the camera to track movement automatically or you can switch it off and have it fixed to where you require. When it does track movement, the camera returns to the default view after a short period. Sound and mic are clear and work as expected. The PTZ options on the PC are easy to use, on the phone its just a case of swiping your screen to move the camera in the direction you want. There is also a light on the unit that can be set to come on automatically or switch it off in the client software options. Overall the picture quality, day and night modes, ease of use and setup for the price, it is a great unit.

Really pleased with this camera and the app. The picture and video quality (both day and night) is great and the human-form motion detection feature is great as you don’t get unnecessary alerts for foxes etc.
I put in an SD card which is easy to fit and you can have it record continually or for certain time periods. Or you can have it just record when an alert tiggers.
It’s easy to connect to via the app when away and on 4G so you can see when a parcel arrives or who in the family has come home as you get an alert on your phone.
With the app you can move the lens in many directions and you can zoom in and out and you can take an immediate picture or video which you can email or download. Or you can save direct to your phone. Can also set it up to email each time an alert is triggered.
    Very pleased with it!

Great quality picture, easy to move the camera lens around and handy app

I needed an exterior camera which connects over wifi – and the combination of facilities and price prompted me to give this camera (IE20) a try. Initial impressions were good, with the packaging containing everything needed to get up and running. I downloaded the CamHipro android app from Google Playstore and connected to the camera without a problem. I then installed the camera outside on a garden shed to monitor the house and garden. A couple of weeks of cold and rain do not seem to have affected it, and I have another ieGeek external camera which has been running for a couple of years without problems. There are some improvements which could be made, but bear in mind that this camera is only a fraction of the price of even a semi-professional model such as Hikvision.
Documentation – the manual is adequate, but is not specific to this model alone, so some features are marked as ‘not applicable to the IE20’ which is frustrating. Also, a lot of the grammar would be sent back by your English teacher. Mind you, I couldn’t write a user manual in Chinese.
Alarm/Motion Detection – You can set a range of different types of alarm, although the motion detection is basic and so any movement (such as trees blowing in the wind) will trigger an alarm. I configured the camera to send an email when an alarm occurs and this works well, although only a single photo is attached even if the software is set to send multiple images.
Software support – As mentioned, the CamHi app works well, and from a PC you can use the HiP2P program. You can also connect directly to the camera using a web browser – only Internet Explorer is fully supported though, with current browsers unable to view the camera feed. The iegeek.com support site is a bit of a shambles, with little guidance as to which manuals and upgrades apply to which models. I did send a question to tech support which was answered immediately however.
Improvements could be made to the inbuilt software and the manual, but for the price I think this was excellent value.

The camera is easy to set up and fix to the wall. The power cable can be easily extended if required, either with extension lead or by cutting it and adding extra cable in between the 2 cut parts if required and soldered back together again. Also if the cable is cut, it makes it easier to pass through the wall and only a small hole needs to be drilled in the wall, then solder the wires back together. The other two cables, reset and ethernet can be tucked inside the unit to get them out the way, if you don’t want to use those. You can do a basic reset by unplugging the power to the unit from inside the house.
The video quality is really good, even at night in black and white nighttime IR setting. I have mine set to the automatic setting. Its very quick to respond to pan and tilt changes from the phone. The “tracking mode” seems to work well, I’m not sure if I will leave that on all the time though.
This is my second camera from ieGeek. I used the app I already had on my Samsung phone, CamHipro, which is free from the play store.
It was easy to setup. I just clicked the + symbol, top right of screen, choose IP camera, selected New Device, powered on and reset (using small push button on end of white wiring loom) and chose the “not connected to the network cable” option. Then on the next screen I chose “AP distribution network equipment” option. This then asked for the wifi password from my router and that’s about it. Camera connected. I haven’t installed a memory card inside the camera as I wanted to connect it to my Synology Disk Station (NAS). This is running a free program called Surveillance Station. This then records movements and stores them on my hard drive in the NAS. I have been doing this for over a year with my other ieGeek bullet camera, a non PTZ version and that has been brilliant, hence getting a second camera for my home system.
I like ieGeek products and the customer service people were helpful last year when I needed some info on fixing brackets for my other camera. They are not just a sales team, they are helpful also.
I think for the price the camara is great value for money and will recommend it to my friends as I know its easy to set up and from a reliable supplier.

This is the third security camera I bought from ieGeek and this new model is even better.
Fast delivery with all the instructions and installation kit. Very ease to connect to the Internet and then switch to wireless connection.

The live pictures are crystal clear and sharp with beautiful views. Then auto tracking function is new for this camera and can be a deterrent for invasions. The night vision is amazing as well with auto LED lighting function, everything is clearly viewed and definite can threat strangers.

The cameras can be easily monitored using CamHipro or Camhi and set up different combination of alerts.
The recording function can relay the need information for different purpose.

Over all, this is very good security camera with new function to be integrated.

    Highly recommend the product.

This is a very good camera for its price bracket. The image quality both day and night time is very good.
The intelligent tracking is really good and tracks any movement until it stops within the detection area.
You can set a preset position which the camera will return to after a short delay following any motion event.
The camera is fully controlled from within the app and once set up is fairly easy to use. One thing to note is this camera is NOT a PIR camera. This means you will get false motion activations from the wind blowing trees, rain or even moths coming through the detection area. This can be a little annoying. Also a little fiddly fixing it to the wall as the camera is larger than you think and the main body hampers your ability to drill and screw up the screws to mount it. As others have said you can hide the cables away behind the camera but I chose a small junction(see picture) which suited me.
The sound and picture quality of this very good for the price and its providing added security at the front where our cars are parked etc.
Overall I would recommend the camera but with the caveat of the PIR comment above

    Excellent Camera

I bought this camera as I already had an earlier ieGeek camera and it has performed faultlessly and is very easy to use. This new one moves things on a lot, with colour night view, and pan/tilt/zoom options, all controlled from the same phone or laptop app. I’m very impressed with it, especially at this price. It works very well and is easy to set up. I have added a picture taken during the day and a video taken at around 22.00hrs UK time (ie, it was dark) where you can see that the colour is still very clear. The zoom function also works very well although I wasn’t;t able to show that on the video. Recommended.

Really good value for all the features this has

Finally a camera that says wireless and actually is wireless, there are many on amazon that say that but aren’t which i found out after ordering one (then returning).
Installation and setup is super easy, and the camera is amazing, I particularly love it’s wide range of motion. It was a bit out of my price range, I planned to spend less, but couldn’t find wireless with pan and tilt at 50 so grabbed this one at flash sale.
The features it don’t have and I wish it had – transerring screen to tv/pc would be nice, and also setting up a recording schedule, I understand recording is human motion activated only. These features were not essential for me so not deal breakers but a reason I gave 4 not 5 stars.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI already have 2 of the ieGeek smaller non-360 cameras. I put a microSD card in them and just leave them recording constantly (they overwrite old footage as needed). When I want to check something, I just use the app on my phone to see a live view or go through the recordings – simple.

This product offers a pan and tilt which is useful. It’s quite big which works well as a visual deterrant but makes it less suitable for putting next to your front foor at eye level.

I would have preferred a longer power cable. I will look in to buying an extension. Also note you’ll require a microSD card but the camera comes with an offer to get one. Card is installed in a side flap – much easier than my other cameras which require being taken apart to install the card.

I used the wireless option to connect. All the unused connectors can be easily hidden in the camera arm – leaving jus the power cable coming out the back of the camera.

Overall really good value with quality images, would recommend ieGeek cameras to anyone.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI am really pleased with my purchase, this is not my first from ieGEEK, but I was impressed by the picture quality of the unit both during the daylight and in night vision mode, Simple to put up, and adding it to my existing CamHipro app was really simple. It is not a tracking camera, but its easy to move it around and view different areas, as I have it over the driveway, I can turn and view different areas of the driveway with easy movement on my smartphone. Some initial information on good suggestions of where to fit and a good height would have been useful, but this is not a major issue. the images show that the Camera has a great rotational angle, without interfering with the displayed image. Worth the money good additional to my home coverage.

I was looking for an outdoor cctv camera with the pan and tilt feature to have in my back garden and came across this one. I am not disappointed with my choice.

The camera is extremely easy and straightforward to set up and connect it to the CamHipro app. Once connected you can easily live watch through the app on your mobile, pan and tilt to any direction you want, check back on previous recordings and even communicate through it, thanks to the built in mic and speaker.

The camera is everything I was looking for .. EXCELLENT video quality day and night .. Connects and reacts promptly every time from the app No need for cables

Do I recommend this cctv camera with colour night vision absolutely YES!

I’ve had several iGeek cameras and when I saw this one with its tracking function this was ideal for the large area outside our house that currently had lots of dead zones. Set up was easy like all other iGeek cameras and I’ve now been running it for about 10days and monitoring. As expected as I enter or leave the house it tracks my movement exactly as it should. Colour night vision is good but to get colour it need to constantly shine a spotlight which makes it a bit conspicuous (good or bad thing I’m not sure). Would have also liked it to come in black so as to not stand out so much. So far so good great bit of kit as a great price.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI personally prefer Outdoor Bullet IP Cameras, but was very surprised by this Outdoor PTZ Dome WiFi IP Camera. The most important factor for me is finding technology that is ‘Linux friendly’ and fall into the Plug ‘n’ Play category of Window’s environments.
It took me five minutes to integrate the camera into my network.
The only procedure prior to powering the camera on is to remove the cover of the compartment and press the small rectangle button (next to the SD slot) to reset the camera. This should clear any configurations, if any, and allow a straight forward install.
I would advise using a LAN cable rather than configuring it through wireless, as long as your system has a DHCP (in your Router) service enabled, it should be a walk in the park.
Using Linux, there are third party apps (like Xeoma) that will allow you to configure the camera with a static IP Address, connect to a FTP server, Email notifications and more.
I specifically scoped out this camera and was delighted at how easily it was to install within Linux.
And that is a big deal for Linux users.
    Thinking out of the box.

I’ve got a number of IGeek camera’s installed already but only the fixed ones – I wanted to try their pan and tilt version because it seemed such good value and I know their products are good anyway due to the other cameras. The set up was easy as I’ve done it a number of times and it’s very simple set up procedure.

It took me 10 minutes to install and once it was up and running I was able to view it and control it from my smartphone via the CamHi app. Picture quality is great as expected and night vision is superb. It’s a great addition to the rest of the cameras and I’m probably going to purchase these over the fixed cameras in the future since they give you more flexibility and don’t cost that much more.

A really easy camera to set up and install and such fantastic value for money – I haven’t tested it in the rain yet because there hasn’t been any but if it’s like their other cameras then I have nothing to worry about!

This is the 5th camera I’ve bought from ieGeek. This one is much more fully featured than the other static cameras I have already bought.
In the box: Comes with the camera, power cable (a good length for most setups), waterproofing ends for the ethernet connector if needed, wall plugs and screws. Packaged well and arrived in new condition.
Setup: Comes with comprehensive instructions, but essentially: 1. Plug ethernet into router 2. Turn on camera. 3. Open app 4. Connect to camera 5. Change password – working. Literally took less than 60 seconds from opening box to having it working!.
Easily installed onto outdoor wall – drill required unless you’re attaching in a different way.
It’s quite large, and the dome bit feels well made, and the bracket is light to be attached without too much weight.
Over and above a static camera, this one has:
    – Moves around either via the camera HiPro app, and also has an intelligent tracking system that follows people around. This works well, and walking around the drive it definitely follows you when you go off the screen. So far it seems to follow left and right but it’s hard to test the up and down on a flat driveway.
    – Infrared for night mode which gives a good quality picture like the other ieGeek cameras I’ve had.
    – The ability to listen to, and speak through the camera. Really useful for if someone comes to the door / if expecting a parcel! You can also get the camera to “Alarm you” through the app, so you could setup an alarm and then speak like a Ring Doorbell but for a quarter of the price!.
Takes a microSD card if you want to record images / videos but will work fine without it.
Very easy to get videos off the camera onto the app and then onto computer / email etc.

Would wholly recommend this camera. Feel like I need to replace all my other cameras now with this one! Really is very simple to use and just works. Connection is good from anywhere (on WiFi / mobile network) and gives additional peace of mind, and a deterrent to anyone up to no good!

An Excellent Addition to the Range

This camera offers more features than higher priced competitors and better value for money. The tracking feature is great, as it can be used to track objects around my garden aswell as cars up and down the road. Nightvision mode turns itself on automatically and picture is of very high quality whether night or day. Camera unit is also very solid and should survive well in all weather as the device is well water sealed. I was also impressed by the fact ieGeek provide an ethernet wire to help connect to the camera aswell as all fixings/screws/plugs even down to the correct screwdriver. We are very impressed with this camera ! It was very easy to fit and performs just as well as our other (more expensive) camera. The app works well and so far has provided a reliable connection. Very impressed with the picture quality (day & night). It certainly has all the features we require. We are not using motion detection as it is recording all the time to the sim card (hence no score against motion detection). Obviously it depends on individual installation requirements, but we have used a juction box to house the 3 cables coming from the camera (which includes a re-set button, so should this require a re-set will provide easy access).

Camera arrived on time and well packed. The camera is quite heavy and sturdy, and is very well put together, so hopefully will stand the test of time. Set up was very straight forward, creating an account and then connecting the camera to the App was a breeze. I love the Pan, Tilt and Zoom feature, and the HD images are so clear. You don’t need to be as precise when mounting the camera, as the image can be easily adjusted using the PTZ. Audio comminication is a bit tinny, but is clear enough to understand whoever is talking at both ends. The only thing I would change would be the way the camera fixes to the wall mounting plate. It is supplied with 4 fixing screws designed to be easliy undone and tightened with your fingers when the camera needs to be removed for charging. This is fine if the camera is quite high up and can’t be reached from the ground. In my set up the camera is just above head height and I was concerned that this could be easliy removed by somebody else and stollen, so I replaced the original fixing screws with 4 x M4x12mm Security Screws with a washer on. Does the job perfectly and doesn’t look out of place at all

I bought this security camera based on the information on the site and the strong reviews. We have been experiencing a number of driveway/garage break-ins recently and I wanted something that might dissuade people but also capture any activity on my property. The set up is extremely straight forward…..charge the battery overnight…..follow the instructions and the camera talks you through what to do! I have set it high up on the front wall of my house next to a window where I can access the battery charging point when required. The camera has four thumb screws that hold it onto the mounting plate so you need to fit is somewhere where no-one can access it easily. The picture quality is excellent. I’ve set mine to HD. The night vision is pretty good even without a security light coming on. It’s good to be able to adjust the angle of the lens from your phone. The battery seems to be holding up well considering I have been trying numerous different settings on the App and playing around with the viewing angle. The App does take a little time to get used to and its worth playing around with different settings to see what suits your situation. All in all I think this is a good solid camera that does what it should.

I needed a camera that is battery powered due to no mains electricity where we needed coverage. I also wanted to view and interact with the camera from my phone so it needed to be WiFi enabled. I have already got a mains powered iegeek camera so knew the quality would be good. This camera ticks all the boxes. I have had this camera for a couple of weeks and the picture quality is great, both day and night vision. The app is good and the great part about this camera is the fact you can move it around using the app. Due to the lens being so wide angled which is great, I rarely have to ‘look around’ but it is a great feature being able to if required. The battery life seems great so far and despite only having 50% WiFi strength this has not affected its interoperability. The only thing I would like to see added is a zoom function but as I say the PTZ functionality is great. If you’re looking for a camera that is battery powered, WiFi only and has a good, user friendly app I can definitely recommend this camera, you will not be disappointed.

Easy to set up, but configuration of the motion detection zones via a web browser requires IE and outdated active X. Other settings can be done via Firefox/Chrome etc. The camera supports ONVIF, which I use to view the image locally. Various ONVIF apps are available for Phone and PC. Haven’t tried the recommended phone app, so I haven’t set up motion detection. I have set up “motion” on a Raspberry Pi to collect images and detect movement. Video clips are then written to a local NAS drive.

Golden Review Award: 24 From Our UsersI have had the camera approximately 6 weeks now and I must say I’m really impressed given the price point of this PTZ camera.

Setup took 10 minutes and the WiFi connection is stable.

The capture quality is excellent (can be changed from SD to HD in the app) in both day and night mode.

The camera can be controlled easily through the CloudEdge app. Rotating almost 360 degrees. Mine is mounted with a corner brackets to give my complete coverage along 2 sides of the house. As it’s also close to my front door I can communicate with visitors via the 2 way audio built in.

PIR detection is good. You just need to adjust the sensitivity via the app in relation to where the camera is installed. I have a gazebo which constantly blows in the wind I was worried this may constantly set it off but remarkably it only seems to detect actual people or the odd animal because it has a human motion only setting you can turn on or off.

Battery is still at 86% after 6 weeks. Average daily triggers is 5. Obviously if you have it in a higher traffic area it won’t last quite as long

Excellent PTZ for the price point. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

With this camera you have the option of wi-fi or LAN connection or both. I had an issue that I was not getting a connection, I found out after connecting a lan cable it was a low wi-fi signal to that camera I got another camera 2 meters away no problem so I left it permanently connected via a lan cable. The picture quality is outstanding day or night. Detection is good but setting the level of Detection is annoying and I personally have not got it right. This is only an issue with notifications as when it rains heavily, your getting notifications on your phone every 5 minutes this might be where I have it mounted. Please don’t let this put you off it I know I am impatient at solving faults if it takes a lot of time. And adjusting the level and waiting to see is right does take time if you want it perfect. Thats the moan over. You have so many options to tailor this camera to your needs you can adjust the Detection area eg. if the field of takes in your neighbours garden or path you can adjust the Detection zone to exclude the path or you can black out the garden so that there privacy is maintained. It is easy to setup and I found the helpline exceptionally good. One note The interface to the camera is third party, is this a good thing I don’t know. There so much to this camera system I can not do justice in singing it praise for the price you pay and subscription free.

Excellent camera, quality pictures day or night.

The camera came early and well packaged. Was a bit of a struggle to set up wireless signal but after I actually read the instructions properly, it was quite easy. Very easy to set parameters for area/s required and when set for “human recognition ” it cut out all false contacts and animals. When it detected a human, it immediately sent an alert to my iPhone and also recorded each event. Much much better than I had hoped and can’t recommend it enough. I’m getting one to cover the back of my bungalow against intruders and also to keep an eye on my dogs in the garden.

This is a well-made camera with total wireless connection in terms of power and WiFi connection, it is exactly what I need. This means that you can be put almost anywhere around a house proving the location is covered by WiFi signal.
The motor of the camera runs smoothly and quietly. The rotation functions are convenience to monitor a wider area.
The USB charging pot is underneath the base of the camera, it can be easily charged when it is mounted. Or you can take the camera off the metal base bracket by unscrew the four bolts. Its power switch reset button and SD card slot are at the bottom of the camera. I put a 128GB one and it works fine.
The base plate of the camera can be installed by four screws into wall. The supplied screws are 3mmX25mm, you may want to use longer ones to get extra security.
The 4dBi Dual Antennas is a good design and the response time is much shorter than some of battery-operated cameras.
CloudEdge is the APP used to control the camera. As it has been installed on my phone already to mange other ieGeek cameras, I only need to add a new devise and the operation is straightforward. The picture and video of the HD option is very good. The sound is clear very clear.
In summary, a very well-made camera with all the functions required for an outdoor wireless a PTZ camera.

Excellent total wireless outdoor PTZ security camera with a large battery capacity!

Got this PTZ wireless security camera as an upgrade for my existing ieGeek camera. Thus far, I am very happy with it. The things that really impressed me are as follows:

The ability to control the orientation of the lens remotely makes installing the camera so much easier. Previously I had to go up and down the ladder to get it right – now I can just adjust the camera’s view from the lens via my phone.

Wi-fi communication is much improved due to the two large external wifi aerials. The wi-fi signal strength is frequently reported as 100% at several metres from the router which is impressive. I have not seen any connection issues – it just works.

Battery: The previous ieGeek camera had a 10000mA battery which never got below 70% charge when used in conjunction with the solar panel, even in Winter, even after moderate use via the phone. The massive 15000 mA battery on this camera means that when used with the ieGeek solar panel, the chance of this camera running out of power is virtually nil.

HD Image quality is superb with clear details – see my image taken in HD mode.

Overall, I would have no hesitation recommending this camera if you want wireless surveillance that is reliable & easy to setup and install, just like my previous ieGeek camera was.

    Fantastic camera for the money

Golden Review Award: 17 From Our UsersI really like this PZT camera (note, the zoom is a digital zoom only) from IeGeek. I have others from them but this is my favourite. The ability to fine tune or move the position of the camera is a bonus.

It has a strong metal mounting bracket with 4 thumb screws and is secured by 4 screws into the wall. (I have used 3m double sided tape for mine and it is holding up well)

There is a small delay between pressing the controls on the app and the camera moving but nothing serious.

This camera has a much stronger WiFi connection than older models. (this camera has a signal strength of 97% whilst my older camera that is closer to my router is only 80%)

The upgraded battery also helps with an extended run time between charges but I would recommend the solar panel addition so that you will rarely have to worry about bringing it inside to charge.

This is from a company I have purchased from before. They have good communication if you need additional help and I would highly recommend.

Great battery PZT Camera with strong WiFi connection and battery life

I’ve thought about getting a security camera for some time, but didn’t want to spend a fortune. I found this one and when I read the reviews, I decided to give it as go.
It was incredibly easy to set up and connect to my phone and when I switched it on, I was blown away with the quality of the picture, the app allows me to do all sorts of things and as it has 2-way audio, I can watch out for the take away deliver driver and also tell him off when he’s late, all without leaving the sofa 🙂
All in all, I’m absolutely delighted with the purchase, so much so I’m going to buy another one for the rear of my house!

What a great device, was so easy to setup, just plug in, connect network cable and way to go.
Download the app, I tried both CamHi and CampHiPro, not a huge difference in the apps.
Click on search Lan, finds camera instantly. Picture quality is superb, even in night.
Ive set mine to constant record in 10min blocks, just click on them in the app to view and download direct if needed.
My wifi signal a bit crap at front of house, too far from my router. So I ran a CAT5 direct to the camera from my router. Very fast response, very happy.
Power lead could be a bit longer, I just spliced mine and put 5 meters of wire in middle.
So happy with this camera, I will be putting a second one out the rear of the house.

    Easy setup, great camera

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe product was well packaged and delivered next day.

Set up was quite straight forward and instructions clear and simple to follow. I formatted a new micro SD card before inserting it, but later found it necessary to format it again within the camera – not a problem, just a step that I hadn’t needed to take!

The battery was only partially charged so I left the camera to charge overnight to be sure of a full charge before installing. While charging I tried out the pan and tilt function and was pleasantly surprised at the near silent operation.

Installation was very straight forward and the camera was quickly up and running. I anticipated that the chosen location for the camera might be a challenge for wifi connectivity as the location is looking back at the property from some distance (11m from the property and 25m from the wifi router), but there is an adequate connection and all camera functions, including pan, tilt and alert, are all working well.

I can’t comment at this stage on battery life but I’m hoping and expecting for there to be several weeks before recharging is required. Solar trickle charging is a possibility and a compatible solar panel is available, which would reduce if not remove the need to charge from the mains.

Overall I’m very pleased with this product and happy to recommend it to others.

    Cracking fully wireless Security Cam

The Camera is very good, I installed it over the weekend so it can over look the entrance to the house.

It is wireless though I had to connect it to the router via a supplied ethernet cable first (after download the phone and pc software) and once it was connected I changed it to wifi.

I tried to connect it to wifi first (without using the ethernet cable) and the software was unable to connect for me (the user guide that comes with the camera says you can can connect straight to wifi but recommends connecting via the ethernet cable first).

Anyway after getting it up and running on the wifi I installed above the front door (see the pic), it comes with a power supply that you plug into a normal plug socket, the lead that connects to the camera is around 1m long so I bought an extension as I needed a long lead to reach my plug socket.

I would point out that there are some translation issues with the user guide which were a bit confusing at times but essentially you need to donwload the CamHI app from for your smart phone (there is a CamHIPro app-but it has less functionality). you need to download this first to set up the camera and then you can link the PC software to the app. (you can just use the phone app if you want).

If you do download the pc spoftware from the manufacturer website, (for windows) you will need to download a .Rar file extractor first to launch the software.

Installation was straightforward, there are plenty of videos on Youtube to explain how to do this, and also how to use the software if you get stuck but the manufacturer has a number of a guides too on their website.

Overall I am pleased with this and I would recommend it.

Good Camera and image quality for the price
